Evening All, Began the creation of my first website, and I'm having trouble utilizing the tools that wix.com is providing me. I've invested in my domain, and the 1-year subscription to the service, and now I'm unsure if I should continue the service, being that I am having difficulty creating the appearance I am wanting. My question is this, is wix.com a good platform to build my website, or should I get a refund for the year subscription and put my money into something else? Is there a program that is better for website building? I just want to start creating my website right the first time around, and not have to change later in the year. thanks for your time!

Hi, My main question is how much would it cost to create an app with these features: - A sign up system (Basic Name, age & address) - Able to add funds into account via paypal - Simple app design and layout - One click instant purchase i know it's a bit broad but any estimates would help. Another question could I just convert my WordPress website and make it into an app? or just out a link from the app the the phone version of the website (android)?

Ok, so my friend recently got a new computer, however, he had to replace the hard drive as well as reinstall windows 10. I walked him through the steps of installing windows through a usb stick and for some reason his computer is stuck on the black screen with the windows 10 logo and the spinning circle when he boots onto the usb with the windows 10 file on it. Does anyone know why this might be happening? We let it run like that for 3 hours and nothing happened. Thanks.

Hello everyone! I am looking for a laptop to buy in the next few days. My main needs are the following, very good battery life. weight, good processor, Nvidia graphics ( working with render engine that require a cuda card to open my files, even if i dont render). at least 16gb RAM and a good ssd. I will use this laptop for notes taking, media consumption and work ( i do 3d and 2d animations ). This is not my only computer (I have a workstation), i dont expect to render much 3d with it, but I will model, animate and set scenes. i mainly wants to be able to work at a client, work in a cafe and on the go, as i do travel quiet a lot). I was hesitating between Lenovo X1 extreme, XPS 15 and Msi prestige. but the lenovo battery doesnt seem great. Xps seems to have some throttling and some build issues. So here I am, going with the Prestige 15"+ 1650. when I discovered there was a 14" version with either the same GPU or a mx250. Would it be a mistake to go with the 14"? does it heats up too much? and if so, is going for a MX250 puts up less heat while still giving me a bit of power? Is the 14" crippled by its single fan system? should i stick to the 15" version even if it is bigger? if someone has used both or one of them I would be super interested to see what they think about it. thanks a lot!

I would like to build my own pc. The primary purpose is graphic designing and gaming along with vedio editing and..... I'm thinking of making animations as well. I want suggestions for buying the cpu and motherboard. I'm not sure but did a little research myself and came up with this - CPU- AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Motherboard - MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Note:The pc is not intended to be used for overclocking and it should handle the above 4 subjects A-OK. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to build a good pc between $900, $1100 (including tax) at most for content creation and something that could handle Adobe After Effects really well. Here's a pc part picker link for what I have so far and any feedback on the compatibility of the parts or if you know of better alternatives. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/lasha.basha/saved/Pwpgt6

Hello, I'm trying to finish my workstation build and I'm having trouble choosing the ram for it. I'm using a Threadripper 2990wx and MSI X399 MEG Creation, I'm hoping to get 4 sticks of 16gb for a total of 64gb so I have the possibility of expanding to 128gb in the future if needed. Also, I would like to get 3200Mhz memory ideally but I would be okay with 3000Mhz. I've looked at the list of compatible ram in the MSI website but I'm having a hard time finding those for a decent price online here in Canada: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MEG-X399-CREATION#support-mem-17 I don't really care if the ram is RGB or not altho if its similar price I would rather get RGB. If anyone could help me with some advice or if anyone knows of any good deals for ram that will work with my Threadripper I would be very grateful. Many thanks in advance!

I am looking for a few individuals with a drive for content creation. A high end gaming/render machine would be needed. I am currently in the works of perfecting 4k uploading of VLOG and gaming content. I have friends who play esport style games with me but I have no one to do co-op series or other content/streaming. Reply for an inquiry I suppose with your pc specs.

So It is my fault that I was unaware of the cost of creating a bootable windows on my USB. But maybe you can help me fix it Firstly, I lost my files which If I could get back would be cool, but its not too big a deal. But more importantly, My 128gb usb is now a 32gb usb. Really sad that I wasnt prompted by a warning of this danger before creating this tool, but I guess when you're building computers its up to you to know. But if anyone knows a way and can help me, that would be much appreciated.

I'm looking to start making music, just to try it out for fun. Does anyone know of any good software for like under $10 (preferably free) that would let me just screw around and try out basic music production? Thanks.

I am following the book Unity in action and have run into an issue with some of the code. I am unsure if the author tested the code as I have the following issue: 1. With the scripts added separately all functions work it's only when they are added together that there is an issue. 2. When I look up my character automatically moves forward 3. When I look down my character automatically moves backwards **EDIT: If gravity is set to zero I do not move forward or back, but I do float** **My Mouselook script:** **My FPSInput script:**

Read the highlighted text if you want the short version. I recently built a computer gone awry. I kept switching out parts that wouldn't really work as I had originally intended, as well as parts that seemed like they were overheating, and finally have a working, powerful, albeit far too big, far too power hungry, far too ugly computer in my media center. I wanted to build a small, power-efficient hard-core gaming computer, but after all was said and done, it didn't really work that way. I have also become interested in media creation and video editing. So now I am looking to just sell off the older build on eBay, janky modified case and all, and build something proper this time around from the ground up. Here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/cjb100/saved/wnhdnQ CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($280.76 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Silverstone AR06 40.2 CFM CPU Cooler ($43.68 @ Amazon) Thermal Compound: TUNIQ TX-4 Extreme Performance 1g Thermal Paste ($13.05 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus Z97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard ($169.32 @ Amazon) Memory: *G.Skill Trident X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($170.31 @ Newegg) Storage: *Mushkin Chronos 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($61.06 @ Newegg) Storage: *Toshiba 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($71.00 @ Newegg) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card ($363.24 @ B&H) Case: Silverstone RVZ01B Mini ITX Desktop Case ($92.85 @ Amazon) Power Supply: *Silverstone Strider Gold 450W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply ($109.23 @ Amazon) Optical Drive: Panasonic UJ-265 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer ($83.03 @ Amazon) Case Fan: *LEPA LP-BOL12P-R 81.5 CFM 120mm Fan ($16.37 @ Amazon) Other: StarTech.com Slimline SATA to SATA Adapter with Power (SLSATAADAP) ($9.99 @ Newegg) Total: $1483.89 I'm not too concerned about what kind of performance I'm going to get compared to what I built recently. Without going into a ton of details, lets just say I paid way too much for way too little performance, way too big a system, way too little energy efficiency, and I'm just done with tinkering with that system. What I want to know from you guys, is will this work for my intended purposes, and if I can shave a little money off the system without reducing the performance too much, where would you recommend that I do so? $1500 is my max, as I will be using money from selling the old system in conjunction with new money. I intend to use this primarily as a very capable 1080p gaming HTPC (hence the Blu-Ray), but I am becoming very interested in doing some fairly weighty video-editing for a YouTube channel, which would include Let's Plays, music videos and coding tutorials. I don't mind waiting for videos to render so much, as long as rendering only takes about as long as simply watching the video, something my current PC can almost muster with an AMD GPU and OpenCL. But what I am very worried about, is one of my current PC's problems: heat output and overheating. Gaming generally seems fine in my current setup -- a little high at upper 70'sC, but I'm fairly certain I lost the silicon lottery because video rendering shoots my current CPU to 95+C immediately, and I don't OC nor is there anything wrong with my cooler. I figure a more energy efficient chip would help with this, since it is SFF after all. But what do you guys think? Just to reiterate, I need SFF, as small as possible for my media center. I need energy efficiency because my current set up seems to nearly trip the basement breaker in my house at a measly 750W! And I would like to edit videos without overheating, even if it takes a while to render. I can't budge on price but I can certainly budge on performance a little bit if it means a fair amount less money. Opinions? Suggestions?

How would one go by into creating an OS or build one from say Linux like Steam OS will? I never really understood, always so abstract in my head  I do have some programming background so hit me with weird terms if you'd like

Hi guys, Patreon is a website for content creators to have a venue to make their content profitable in some way, except that it is not technically profit as you do not pay for the content. Essentially, the way it works it as such: You make an account. Enter your details (information for paying the pledge such as CC information) along with whatever you want to add to your profile. You find an artist you like who does something you are interested in such as making videos to teach you a foreign language, creating music, drawing pictures/paintings, making comic books, or reviewing movies and such. Then you pledge to donate $X per piece of content they produce (a video, a song, a painting, a comic, a review, etc). At the end of the month, however many pieces of content they have made decides how much you pledge (you can create a hard cap on the total you give per month) and it is charged to you. You can offer to pledge anywhere from $0.25 per piece of content to whatever crazy amount you decide. Say they produce 5 [insert content]. Then you would be charged $1.25 at the end of the month and it would be given to them as a donation type thing. You receive the content regardless, so it is not exactly a subscription service. It is more like a hybrid between donations and subscription. This is a donation platform to enable you to directly give to content creators rather than having to go through other means such as simply watching their videos on Youtube. The idea is that you pledging money will make them more motivated and give them more time to create the content you want. You can cancel your pledge any time, so if you feel they are not creating what you want, you can do so. A friend of mine over at his website recently made it known to me and I thought it was pretty cool, so I wanted to share it with the forum. Thanks, Vitalius

So I stumbled upon a game in development the other day that seems to have slipped under my radar for quite a while. It is called "Project Spark" and is to be released on Windows 8 Platforms, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The principal of the game is that you can make anything you want, from a tower defense, to an rpg, to an fps, all the way to a sidescroller. I have been watching some of the archived live streams and seen the devs discussing worlds of 5x5km sizes, custom motion capture and voice acting, as well as stories as long as Skyrim. I'm really excited for this game, and although I honestly didn't care about Kinect before now, it makes me happy that a developer is doing such good things with it so soon. I posted this here because I will be getting it on PC first most likely, but the Xbox One version is appealing as I feel that it will be supported more and have more features enable (at least until Kinect 2.0 comes for the PC). So what is your guys' thoughts on the game? Does it look good/bad? Any ideas on what you'd build? It'd be great to see a LTT build team on either PC or XB1 to build worlds, minigames and full blown story games to be shared on these forums and with people from the rest of the world!

Hi guys, So we are testing out domain logins for our users. Well, their domain name == their local user name. So when they log into the computer & domain, the folder under C:\Users is this: jdoe.DOMAIN because there's already a jdoe for the local account. My question is: Does the environment variable %USERNAME% include that Domain? So say I said to create a folder in the C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents directory, would that end up being C:\Users\jdoe\Documents or C:\Users\jdoe.DOMAIN\Documents? I'm assuming the former which explains why folder creation isn't working. Would %USERPROFILE% bypass this, such as %USERPROFILE%\Documents? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi guys , I searched all the pages in this topic for a Trend that concerned this issue. Sadly , i did not find anything :'( So basically , my idea is to create a clan from the Starcraft 2 community that is gathered in this forum : that being if they want to join it of course ! lol I did not bother looking for a league of legends topic (sorry  ). If it is non existent , i'll gladly create a team as well for that game. Have a nice day ! Alex Ps this is my profile on starcraft2 http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/3333369/1/NiDoǂMøvida/ I also have an account on the Na servers but it's a barcode.
