Hi I have a moondrop dash keyboard and a scepter O35 monitor. I occasionally plug my Aorus 15pYD laptop running windows 11 into. When I do this the laptop has its screen disables and is effectively docked into the monitors. However If I plug my headphones into my moondrop dash games basically inevitably freeze and audio crackling issues begin shortly after. With plugging into the onboard audio port the audio will also occasionally crackle and games will occasionally freeze but it is an annoyance that happens once or twice an hour for a couple minutes rather than something that starts and wont stop after around 10 minuites/ I have tried using DDU to uninstall graphics drivers I have uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers I have uninstalled my speaker audio drivers I have used the nvidiaprofile inspector to enable the second monitor thing Id be happy to answer any questions but some help getting this issue resolved so I can use my DAC and play games without issues would be much appreciated. Edit: to clarify what I mean by freeze I mean my inputs will occasionally be held for long periods of time or they wont register, and I get the occasionally actual freeze but its often more of a my inputs don't work.

Hello everyone, I've never used a forum before as I can usually figure things out on my own. Recently though, I've had a random audio crackle/pop (just one every now and then) and for me it's unbearable knowing something's wrong. I've tried everything I can think of, going as far as replacing my MOBO thinking it was an onboard audio jack issue. I got a new case as well as I use the front audio jack for my earbuds. I also just bought new earbuds and this has not worked, the issue continues. If you have any questions please let me know. Any help is appreciated. System specs: - MSI B550 MAG TOMAHAWK - RYZEN 7 5800X3D - CORSAIR VENGEANCE PRO RGB 2X16GB CL18 3600MHZ - ASUS TUF 4070TI OC - MSI MPG A850G 850W GOLD Please let me know of any other specs you'd think would matter.

Hello Guys, for 2 Days now i seem to encounter the following problem. Before i never had any problems with this. Whenever i am in certain games i noticed that if many sounds happen at the same time, i get a kind of crackling / popping sound in my headphones (this happens with multiple headphones, so i can rule them out) When Windows starts, or i mute myself on teamspeak, my headphones, seem to connect themselves again (audio driver problem?) It doesnt occur while watching videos. Now i tried screensharing with a colleague on microsoft teams and when i tried to open up a program like ddu, my pc freezes and i get distorted sound, crackling sound, probably because of the freezes. I tried the following things already: Use DDU and uninstall Realtek audio drivers and nvidia display drivers. Then installed the realtek audio driver, which is on my motherboard downloads page (seems to be newer than the normal one i can downlaod from the realtek page) Went into the bios and checked if something is wrong with my cpu clock, but it seems to be on auto and not change more than 100.04. Changed Power Settings to use maximum performance. Made a Cinebench Test, Multi and Single Core. Both without any problems with the pc, could still open files and move my mouse without freezes. Made a Furmark Stresstest, without any issues. Tried the windows memory test, and the windows drive test. For some days now i have a new webcam and the new xbox series x controller for windows, thought maybe these do make problems. Doesnt seem like it, because even when plugged out the same problem occurs. It all started with me thinking my audio has problems. Tried disconnecting my behringer umc202hd audio interface, tried plugging all out and in again. I use it to connect my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro and T.Bone SC450 to my pc, via the usb port of my motherboard. Maybe teams is at fault, and screensharing does make problems. Changes i made to the bios and have been going for some time now: Enable Virtualization (because of Android Studio) Change the normal Ram profile to the XMP Profile Change the system time I am starting to lose hope, because it is a fairly new computer and it didnt have any problems until some days ago. Should i just reinstall windows? I have 1 Gen 4 NVME SSD with a data partition and the windows partition, can i just go and install over the windows partition without losing the other stuff? My Mainboard seems to have a possible bios update on the gigabyte downloads page, maybe apply that? I can play games without a problem, they dont freeze, i dont have fps drops. I am also unsure if i even need the realtek drivers, because i have a software driver for the audio interface and dont use any other sound configuration than the interface with mic and headphones. (Installed are the nvidia sound drivers/realtek/and the 3rd party behringer one) My System: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 6500X Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro V2 Ram: Crucial DIMM 32 GB DDR4-3600 PSU: corsair rm750 GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060TI FE SSD: GIGABYTE Aorus NVMe Gen4 SSD 1TB, M.2 Audio Interface: Behringer UMC202HD, connects via usb to the pc. Connect Mic and Headphones to it. On the nvme, i installed win 10 professional. I have another normal ssd with linux on it (Arch) for programming purposes, therefore i have dual boot with grub. I have warranty on all system parts, but i dont want to wait so long to rma, and probably they dont have things like the cpu to give me back ^^

I have an old SONY MHC-GNZ77D from 2006 i guess....It used to give phenomenal audio...enough bass to shake the house when V-GROOVE is enabled....We recently did not use the set for an year as we got a new TV which had good speakers and now while i tried to use it again a weird cracking sound (something like electric cracking noises and the classic cracks mixed) comes from the left speaker of the set during deep bass like "THE PLAN" from tenet...that kind of bass...it was able to handle much deeper bass before (the speakers become an air conditioner with the amount of bass) I connect the old stereo to my laptop via an AUX to Analog cable (the while red cables) I tried Changing the aux cable (a new cable) changing the device (used an ipad,a phone) changing the output (swapping the left and right speaker's wire at the back) clean the speaker wire socket with a microfibre cloth this is how the speaker output wire looks THE SPEAKER WIRES CANNOT BE CHANGED BY ME....IT IS FIXED INSIDE THE SPEAKER Disabling V-GROOVE to GROOVE seems to help with the crackling noise...but doing this reduces the bass of the audio Any help would be appreciated before I take it to the shop (the shop is about 10 miles away from my house and would take around 1.5 hours to reach there)

Things I have tried so far: 1. Installed my MOBO manufacturer's audio driver 2. Disabled all enhancements 3. Tried a different audio format and disabled exclusive mode 4. I have a ultimate power mode (so minimum processor state is at 100%) I experience this crackling in two games: F1 2021 and Boneworks. Obviously I use my headphones while playing F1 2021 and oculus quest 2 built in speakers for Boneworks while playing on oculus link (so it is definitely NOT a headphone issue). It always happens when there is too much going on. In F1 2021 it occurs from time to time but on one particular circuit (Monaco), it just will not stop crackling to the point that it is almost unplayable with headphones. In Boneworks it happens when I walk into an area where for example there is some machinery producing sounds continuously (it does not stop producing that sound) and then the crackling happens. I am now just deperate and I do not even know what to do anymore. Every troubleshooting tip just did not work and it was just same as before. Please help.

I recently bought a Steelseries Arctis 5 headset (it just arrived an hour ago from Amazon), and I can hear crackling and popping noises while listening to music. I’ve updated audio drivers, tried troubleshooting in ‘Sounds’, and also changed power saving mode into high performance. Also plugged it onto every USB port possible, but still the problem didn’t go away. I have a Razer kraken headset where the mic was no longer working, but audio is still perfectly fine. I plugged that back onto the USB port of my PC, and no problems whatsoever. On the other hand, I’ve plugged in the Arctis 5 onto a different computer as well as on a tablet, and audio sounded perfectly clear as well. Perhaps it’s the USB port’s problem, but I’m confused as to why my Razer one sounded okay when it was plugged in? Maybe they’re just not compatible with one another? I’m thinking of returning my headset, but if it’s my PC’s problem, I don’t want to have to return a great headset. Anyways, any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys, Some Months ago i built my new pc. Ryzen 5 5600x Gigabyte b550 aorus pro v2 RTX 3060TI 32GB 3600 DDR 4 so the problem which i realised after about 1 month is that the usb ports and connection was kinda weird and sometimes stopped. Thats something which has been talked about alot in recent months about this motherboard so i flashed the bios to the current F13h. Less problems, but sometimes i feel like there are still some problems with the usb connection. But maybe its just my paranoia. But a major thing i noticed with this pc, is that i get sound crackling when multiple sounds are playing or sound starts or stops fast. A good test for that would be, going into teamspeak 3, and spamming the mute/unmute button, normally the sound would not get distorted and start to pop/crackle. On this pc it does. And the only thing i can imagine doing this, would be the motherboard usb connectors. I use a Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD as an audio interface with an T.Bone SC450 mic and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro Headphones. I figure its a problem with the behringer and drivers or the usb ports on this pc. The sound popping / crackling really only occurs when sounds start or stop abruptly, or if different people talk (like on MS Teams). It's not the most annoying problem because in videos or games i barely notice anything like that, maybe i just imagine it in those. So today im going to test the sound configuration like it is on another pc, and if there arent any of the mentioned problems i probably am going to swap out my motherboard. So in this case i would be interested what a good motherboard for my current configuartion would be instead of the gigabyte one. I would like a good amount of usb ports and if possible a good onboard sound solution.

Hello all, Not sure if this is exactly the right place to put it, but I have been having an extremely irritating issue recently with some audio, sometimes, on a relatively fresh build. There are a couple of ways that I have been able to reproduce the issue, and I have attached a video of one of the issues below. When clicking or scrubbing the system sounds volume bar, a crackling/popping noise is evident. I've checked the problem using latency mon, and there are several (apparent) drivers that are causing high DPC and ISR latencies, though it's pretty inconsistent, and doesn't usually happen when gaming on recent titles (though using emulators can sometimes cause crackling/popping also, but I am really unsure whether that's just the emulators being not great). The crackling/popping issue while scrubbing volume also happens on certain videos on YouTube, as well as playing/pausing certain videos. My build: Mag B550 Tomahawk (latest bios, first thing I tried) Ryzen 7 3800x 16 GB Corsair Vengeance @ 3200mhz c16 Corsair CX750F (750w) Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500gb NVME Samsung 870 EVO 1tb GTX 1660ti Things that I've tried to do to resolve the issue: Clean install of Windows Flashing BIOS to latest version Disabling unneeded audio devices (including realtek) Updating drivers Reseating GPU I'm really pulling my hair out. I read somewhere that if the issue is showing up in recordings, then it's a software issue, but I've tried everything I could get my hands on and I'm completely and totally stumped on what to do next or where to go from here. I don't have any means of obtaining more hardware to test to see if anything is faulty, unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated, and I've attached a video of the problem in question. 999737917_2021-05-2223-36-29.mkv

I bought a new power suply and installed it today, but when turned on the pc to see if everything was working I heard a really low, nearly inaudible, crackling sound coming from inside the psu. The fan was stopped so it can't be from there. The PSU is a sharkoon silentstorm cool zero 650w 80 plus gold. Should I get it replaced since I bought it on amazon? It is an upgrade from my old psu so it was really difficult to install the cpu connector I don't want to do it all again.

I'm having this problem for a couple of months now, can't figure out what the problem is. I've deleted all audio drivers and reinstalled them but no succes. I mostly hear the popping/crackling when gaming, not so much listening to Youtube or Spotify. I recorded this video to show you what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT61qrtC_fk&feature=youtu.be <- use headphones PC specs that might matter: CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard: Asus - STRIX Z270F GAMING Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 650W 80+ Gold Certified Headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M50x

Hi everyone, A few days ago I replaced my cpu, motherboard and hdds on my system. OLD System (main components) Case: Antec 902 v3 Cpu: i7 950 Mobo: Asus p6x58d-e RAM: corsair vengence 4gb x 3 GPU: Zotac GTX 660 Boot drive: Intel 40gb ssd (Win 7) HDD: WD 1TB (black) New System (main components) Case: Antec 902 v3 Cpu: i7 4790k Mobo: Gigabyte z97x - ud3h-bk RAM: corsair vengence 4gb x 3 GPU: Zotac GTX 660 Boot drive: Samsumg evo 500gb ssd (Win 7) HDD: WD 3TB (black) I was able to clone the ssd and hdd (samsung migration for ssd and Easeus todo backup for hdd). Initally I had some driver conflict when I booted up the computer on the new mobo. I managed to uninstall all the old drivers and then used the driver cd to install the mobo drivers and even updated all of them to the latest version. I The conflict I'm still having is with the back panel audio for the onboard sound. I get very low volume and and crackling at certain frequencies (tried on both my generic creative speaker and Audio technical headphones). When I'm plugging in the speaker into the green port and have it plugged in half way or accidentally touch the jack to the I/o plate I get really strong/loud static noise. Here is the list of solution that I tried with no success: Updated the Realtek HD Audio Manager app (I.e the one installed from the driver cd) to the latest one Used DPC latency checker and it is showing all greens (didn't test it for more than a minute though..should I be doing something while the app is on to test for interference?) Installed Generic Realtek driver for ac1150 codec. Disabled C1E and EIST in the bios Played with the equalizers on Realtek HD Audio Manager (helped to reduce bit of static but its still there and the volume is still very low) Disabled all line/in devices Checked audio with a ubuntu live cd and the problem still persists (does this indicate a hardware issue?) What I find strange is that my front panel that is connected to the HD audio pins on the motherboard works fine with the same speaker and headphones. I still have some more solutions I need to test out, like: Update the bios (currently on F6 version the latest is F7) I have a spare asus xonar dg (PCI) so will try to install it and test if audio will works fine. But this is not a permanent solution as I only have one PCI slot which I'm using for my wireless card adapter (Edimax 7128g) Run Memtest (can this ever be a problem for sound related issues?) Driver Sweeper (I believe I have properly/manually uninstalled all the mobo drivers but going try this app to be sure) Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to solve this? This is the first time I'm installing/replacing a mobo and cpu so should check if there is a wiring issue when I replaced all the parts back into the case. Please let me know if more information is need to help resolve this. I have a few more days left incase I have to RMA the mobo so any pointers would really be helpful before I decide to send it back (if at all). TIA Sreejit S
