Does anyone know any low profile cpu cooler that fits on the asus tuf gaming b550m-plus wifi ii, something that is <77mm Edit: the cpu im using is a 7 5700x and the cpu cooler I think would fit is a ID-coolig IS-67-ST but might replace the slim fan with an arctic p12 slim

Sry If my my Question is a little Bit silly. Hey, I Just noticed that my CPU Cooler Fan does Not Spin in the Same direction as my other Fans & was asking myself If I'm Losing possible cooling. I have this PC For around 2 months now and my CPU has never Hit more than 65°. So i'm not worried about overheating or other Problems, Just want to know if i should keep it that way or Flip the Fan.

Need a good tower cooler for an older PC of mine that I am giving away to a friend, but don't want to buy them something that'll cool only the chip that I have in the system right now, but would like to give them headroom for any possible upgrades they might do. The current chip is I7-7700K.

I'm sure it'd be fine for a 7900 or 13600kf or any of the lower end cpus from ryzen or intel. Would it be worth it to get a 240mm (or bigger if needed) aio for the 7800x3d or 13700kf? I know they can get pretty hot but for games like elden ring and esports titles would it be enough? If you need any more information then ask me, it's for a future build so I don't have anything as of now. -

Budget (including currency): ∞ Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Pushing 8 4k screens I am about to start using as a new trade wall. Might get a gaming display if I ever find the time to game. Other details (Already have most of it built, didn't have much trouble figuring out what components I wanted. Motherboard used some asus ROG board that was always at the top of the list. CPU grabbed an AMD threadripper something something x that I was told was the best off of eBay. RAM chucked in a few hundred or so gbs of trident g.skill royal that was also definitively the best GPUs grapped of couple of FE 3090s off the bay, god I love ebay I can get ANYTHING. Storage had my dude put in a couple of 8tb corsair nvme mp400s and raid em. COOLING and this is where I come to an impasse. So my dude is going to run me a copper cooling loop and fix up the ihs on my cpu and tool up my gpus. BUT the case fans have me stuck. What are the best case fans money can buy? I am stuck between going with a bunch of Noctuas or a bunch of the Corsair magnetic levitation fans. But in the real world, which is more effective at cooling? Anyway, coming up on I don't have much time for this I need to get back to work. Give me your thoughts. If you need more details on the machine I'll have my dude send me the full list of everything I bought and what exactly it was. -
I'm just starting to look into liquid cooling and custom setups seem like a really fun way to go. I'm confused at one thing though, all the custom setups seem to have CPU blocks with the tubes connected to the front and no screens of any kind whereas many AIO options have LCD screens. Why is that, and are there any non AIO options with LCD screens?

Greetings I am looking to build a gaming pc. I am looking at the ryzen 9 5900x 12 core CPU. I however am not certain about liquid cooling - Not a 'fan' of liquid cooling Does the ryzen 9 5900x 12 core processor only use liquid cooling or can one use a cpu fan instead? Any information in this regard would be most helpful. Thank you

I'm about to bite the bullet and upgrade my 3700X to a 5900X, and I'm considering getting an AIO for the first time, because I'm worried about the higher TDP part pushing temps out of control. Right now, I'm rocking a Noctua U12S chomax.black, with a second fan added. On the CPU compatibility chart, Noctua rates the U12S as sufficient for cooling a stock 5900X. The U12A, which comes with two fans (which I imagine makes it closer to my actual setup), is rated for cooling the 5900X with OC. I like a silent profile, so currently, my 3700X idles at 50C and gets up to 67C under load. I don't want to go much higher on the temps and I'd prefer not to run the fans any faster, so that's why I'm considering an AIO. However, my case will only fit a 240mm rad up top, so I'm not sure if that will be enough to actually beat out my current setup. Assuming I do get the AIO, I've narrowed it down to three choices, partially driven by my general distaste for RGB and that I have a very clean black and white build. In no particular order: Be Quite Pure Loop 240mm EK AIO Basic 240mm Artic Liquid Freezer II 240mm From my research, these all seem to be really good AIOs, but I've found it very difficult to find reviews specifically for the 240mm rad size, with most focusing on 280mm. I'd have to assume the cooling performance will be some measure worse, but no idea how much different it will really be in practice. Still, bouncing all this around in my head, so I'm totally open to suggestions or other options.

Hey everyone, I was playing Fortnite the other day and this very annoying buzzing started coming from my computer, not too loud, but annoying. it would buzz, then it would start throbbing and continue to make this annoying noise. And it only happens when I open Fortnite. Every other game, it dosen’t make the noise. And the second I close Fortnite, it stops. I took my side panel off and it’s sounds like it’s coming from my cpu cooler. But I did recently get a new GPU in the last week. Anyways, if anyone knows what this is and a fix, that would be awesome, Thanks.

So I am trying to put a 12v fan into a Dell Optiplex Micro SFF PC. I thought I might be able to use a SATA to Fan Header Hub, but someone here told me that the SATA connection sticking out of the motherboard is made for 2.5" drives and doesn't support 12v. The only fan header on the motherboard is for 5v fans. The only cpu coolers I could find that would fit in the case are for 12v fans. I looked into 5v to 12v step up converters but they don't seem to make them for fan headers and I have no idea if it's possible to DIY them in that way. The USB to fan header adapters don't advertise working on 12v fans. Any ideas? -
Hey! I need some serious help. My rig has always ran hot but I have never really been good at understanding what are normal operating temps for a system (this is my first build) I have had the rig for a year and my system operates in the ranges of 75-99 degrees Fahrenheit. I know that these temps are pretty high now and I just want to figure out how I can solve the issue. I’m running an AMD Ryzen 3700x with a Corsair h100i rgb cooler for it. My graphics card is an MSI TRIO RTX 2080 super. I’m fairly sure I have the cooler wired up correctly but I’m open to any suggestions! Please help me keep my computer from lighting on fire!

Hello! I have a ryzen 3900XT, asus prime x570 pro, G skill 16x2 32 GB of 3600 RAM, 1 TB SSD, 2080 super, all in an h510 elite. I just got a kraken Z63 for christmas for my CPU, i had a dark rock 4 be quiet, and i plugged everything in correctly, tried multiple ports when things weren’t working, and still I was getting a “CPU fan error” when I was booting, and my AIO was not even recognized. I ignored the CPU fan and booted, and the pump is working my temps were great and I could hear it working, I was plugged into the AIO pump 4 pin in my motherboard, as well as SATA on my PSU. My screen was displaying absolutely nothing and the NZXT CAM software picked up nothing from my device. Additionally, the fan power cords directly attached to the pump are not sending any power to any fan I’ve tried, which has been three separate fans. I don’t know if this has something to do with the issues. I’ve tried all USB ports for the screen display and checked with multiple other components in my computer to make sure the ports aren’t faulty. Should I be getting a new set of cords, NZXT sometimes recommends a USB hub for some AMD motherboards with the z63, but I am lost -
Need help setting up AIO. To start, my motherboard is a B450 PRO VDH MAX and the aio/cpu cooler i’m setting up is the Cooler Master ML240L. My board has 2 SYS_FAN 4 pin connectors , and 1 CPU_FAN 4 pin connector. from reading the instruction it said to plug in the Splitter that came in the box on the CPU_FAN header I have, and plug in the 2 radiator fans to the splitter. My question is, where do I plug in my AIO since i don’t have a CPU_OPT header.

OK so I'm an auto mechanic and it's common in my industry to use alcohol based products to get your car to run at a lower temperature Candace retrans lated over into AIO and full custom loops could you add alcohol based products to lower your temperature has anybody tried this just want some input it would probably be a cool experiment

So, I decided to clean my pc of dust today since it’s been several years since the last time I did it and the dust accumulation had gotten pretty bad. I used dust off cans to blow everything out holding fans still so they wouldn’t spin and it turned out great. I also turned over the fans on my NZXT Kraken X61 so they would exhaust out of the top of my case instead of blowing into the case as I had them previously. I removed the radiator and let it rest on the table below the cpu while I turned the fans over and then re installed the radiator into the top of my case which has always been a tight fit but it has worked for the last 6ish years. However when booting back up for the first time after hooking everything back up the pump sounds awful with a loud grinding noise and the computer fails to boot with a “CPU Overheat!” Error I am not sure what is wrong but it seems to be something with the pump. All of the fans work fine and everything else seems to boot just fine but the pump seems like it isn’t moving any water at all and is just making that grinding noise. I tried looking up some similar problems and some people have noise issues with the pump but my computer can’t even boot and overheats so fast it doesn’t even seem to be safe for more than about 10 seconds. Could I have air in the pump from inverting the radiator or something or is the pump just shot? I just bought a CM Hyper 212 RGB black edt to replace my intel stock cooler and I was wondering. My case (phanteks p400) has two fans (one in the front, one in the back) and that means one of them is going to be right behind my CPU cooler fan. I feel like that's a waste and that it would better to put it in the front instead to get more air in. Is there any reason not to?

Hi there, I’m choosing to upgrade my CPU cooler since it is now summer for me and idle temps are mid 50s to 60s while using the stock Wraith Stealth on my Ryzen 3600. I’m trying to choose between these three coolers given that they’re in the same category of single fan tower coolers. Essentially, I’m hoping to improve temps by upgrading but will going with a Noctua cooler be worth the extra money vs the cheaper Hyper 212? ($70 vs $38 currently) I’ve also heard that the BeQuiet cooler is essentially the same as a Hyper 212 but with a better fan and almost negligible performance gains. Is this true? I realize that I’m comparing two more premium options to a more budget friendly option but I would like to assess all possibilities. Thanks!

I'm going to be building a Ryzen 5 1500X system in the next couple of months and I want to delve into overclocking for the first time and I'm hoping to get it near max around 3.9/4.0GHz. I currently have the 212 evo but I won't be able to use it for my Ryzen build. I like quiet and I worry about pump noise from an AIO and besides, I like how some big air coolers look. It needs to fit in my S340 case which has a max clearance of 161mm. I quite like the sound and look (no pun intended) of the BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 will fit but the pro version wont. Or even the Dark Rock TF one? Something from another brand? Cryorig H5 Universal? I know Noctua but they look so....ick. Budget doesn't matter too much as I'm getting a new job and I'm treating myself Bottom line I guess is, will any of these be better than the 212?

HELLO! I´m building in the Fractal Design Node 202. And i was wondering if you could fit a case fan right over the CPU Cooler, in the motherboard compartment. there is a dustfilter right above the Motherboard and CPU Cooler, to let air into the case. The fan i´m using is 12mm thick. the CPU Cooler i´m using is the Cryorig C7, it´s 47mm. The indent in the case for the dust filter is 8mm deep. And the case supports CPU Coolers up to 56mm. IT PHYSICALLY FITS IN THE CASE. QUESTION! I`m going to be using the case fan as an intake. Between the Case fan and the cpu cooler it´s about 5mm between the CPU Cooler and the Case fan. Would it be ok to have that small of a clearence?? Thank You!
