Heya, I was wondering if anyone of you know if there's a rubber/silicone pad/board that I could put under the key caps to dampen the sound from bottoming out and overall rattle throughout the keyboard? Thanks in advance.

Hey all, I have a Corsair K70 RGB. Its been a great kb since I got it a few years ago. However, a few of the keys are now double or triple clicking... particularly annoying when trying to enter passwords. Anyways, can I simply replace the problem keys with new Cherry switches? This is my first mechanical kb and I've never replaced them before. Thanks for any advice

Hello, I have a corsair k70 that I just bought for the build I finished about 2 weeks ago and there is a problem with one key on the board. The dot/del button on the number pad does not work. I have tried turning num lock on and off and have tried unplugging and re-plugging in the keyboard but that button is dead. The rest of the board works fine and I am typing this with the same keyboard. Anyone have this problem before? Any way I can fix it without having to send the keyboard back? Thanks!

Ok, so I have A Corsair K70 with MX Blue switches, non-RGB, red LEDs and it's still going strong so far. But yesterday, I was having a browse in my local GAME shop and they had a couple of gaming keyboards on display. One of which was a Logitech G910 Orion Spark. So I thought, for a laugh, lets try it out. But after a couple of presses on the Romer-G switches, I really, REALLY liked how they felt. From my brief experince, they felt like Cherry MX Browns, but heavier (rather that the advertised 45g of actuation force). Plus the RGB lighting means I could match the colour of the room's feature wall, which is green and/or the LEDs in my PC, which are white). So that would be a bonus. And yes, I am very tempted to get a G910 and the key cap design doesn't really bother me (yeah I said it, come at me bro ). I've always trusted Logitech products in the past (and still do). But do I make the switch back to them from Corsair?

I don't know if anyone will read this but, for Christmas I got the corsair k70 rgb keybaord and the m65 mouse. I plugged them in and tried to download the corsair utility engine and it downloaded fine. Then I tried to run the installation software and I make it to half way done installing and it freezes my computer so i have to hard shut it down. I have tried everything i can to get it to work i'm lost. Everything else I've tried to download worked perfectly. I spent over 200$ on these peripherals and the whole point of me buying them was to be able to use the 16.8 million colors in the led lights and I can't change them at all. I tried to install the first link on your gaming keyboards page for the k70 and it froze halfway through installing. I also tried to install the first link on your gaming mice downloads page for the m65 and that one froze too. Any help would be appreciated. thanks, Ben

I am looking for a blue switch keyboard, Corsair's keyboards feels very sturdy, only that it is with red switches, I feel very disappointed because I only enjoy the blue switch feel. Went on their website to check and found myself disappointed again, they no longer make k70 rgb with blue switches. now I have 2 choices, go with the razer blackwidow chroma, which has a clicky feeling, but uses kailh switches, or I can suck it up and go with reds, or even browns, an option i never thought of the first place. So, what are some benefits of red/brown switches? Please convince me so I don't have to regret instantly. Plus, if you are a owner of the chroma, what are your thoughts on it? Thank you!

So basically, I have a very big problem with my current keyboard, the Corsair K70 RGB. Basically, whenever I press a key, it does one of four things: 1) Work normally (Clearly the preferred outcome.) 2) Act as if I have not pressed it at all. 3) Registers the pressing of the key several seconds after I have actually pressed it. 4) Acts as if I have double tapped it, and then doesn't allow me to press the key for around another second afterwards. This mainly happens just with a few keys (z, c, w, Space & Backspace) but happens from time to time with all of them. Obviously, three of the afore mentioned points are extremely major problems, that I am unable to put up with due to the amount of use this keyboard will be getting. I have had this keyboard for just under 2 weeks now, and these problems began to occur around 3 days after receiving it, so this has definitely not happened due to being overused and it's lifespan running out. Having done some research, it seems as if this is a reasonably common problem with the Corsair K70, and I am not happy after paying a premium for such a product. I would like to know what my options are when it comes to returning this, as I am extremely unhappy, and may not be purchasing from Corsair again because of it. Also to note, I have treble checked that I have all of the latest software, firmware and drivers for EVERYTHING, so this isn't the issue. Thanks for any responses.

Ok, today I finaly got my Corsair K70 RGB Crerry MX brown and Corsair Sabre RGB laser mouse. To start vorging, I had to reinstall windows, bcause apears it has some issues with Logitech software. So I reinstalled windows. Corsair mouse and keybord works fine now. But I use Logitech K400r wireless keyboard then I'm using my 40" TV as a monitor. So my windows are fresh now. Then I plug Logitech wireless dongle and restart PC my Corsair keyboard and mouse stops working at all. To start using corsair keyboard I have to turn of PC completely, pull out wireless dongle and start PC again. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

As I have been searching the wide web instead of studying, I haven't been able to find many detailed guides on how to mod mechanical keyboards to change switch type etc, I think it is a great opportunity for the LTT team to do a really nice high quality guide on how to mod the crap out of a filco majestousuch, or something along those lines, I personally think that would be AWESOME. P.S. Does anyone now if you can do this on a Corsair K70? I would love to change it to green switches for typing.

Hello Guys and Girls, I am investing into a Mechanical Keyboard and I really do not get the difference between all the keys, Cherry MX brown, Blue, Red? what is the difference, I used the Corsair K70 at a gaming tournament I was in and I really enjoyed using it? So is the K70 a good keyboard (The one without all the macros but full size keyboard), which are the best switches? and what is the difference? (The browns are the cheapest in the UK). Thank You!

So, for Christmas my Mom got me the Corsair K70 and I was curious if anyone knew how to do any LED effects with it? I'm not looking to change the color of the LED's obviously, I'm just looking to do simple stuff like breathing / ripple effects and if so how? I have the Corsair software for my M65 RGB but the software doesn't detect the K70. Any idea's? and as always, thanks for reading!

First off, don't dismiss this as one of the several forum topics out there already. I need to compare these two keyboards based on some of my own personal preferences before I make a decision on which one to buy. I decided that I wanted a RGB keyboard because I think it would be useful for gaming in the dark. Normally, I would go with Corsair based off brand name but there are some things the Chroma seems to have that I like better. First off, the macro keys seem extremely useful to me. I like macro keys in games and find a need for them but the K70 doesn't have that. The other factor is the switches. I am not quite sure what sort of switches Razer uses but I liked the feeling of my friend's BlackWidow Ultimate. He had an old version (backlit by blue LEDs) and I personally loved that clicky tactile sound it made. I vaguely recall he said they were Cherry MX Blues. However, I'm not quite sure what the Chroma uses for its switches. I personally love the clicky sound that his BlackWidow Ultimate made but I'm not sure if that is the case for the Chroma. So I think the question is which of the two keyboards have a more clicky and tactile feedback? I think the switches plays the biggest role in which keyboard I will go for. And finally, pros and cons of each keyboard would be appreciated so I can determine if the lack of macro keys and clicky switches still make the K70 a viable option for me.

Hello, I'm still deciding what to buy because this is not a cheap gaming pc and I'm trying to make sure that this is a right time to buy computer components (I don't want new stuff to come out soon as I build this). http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Maktoob5/saved/JtRwrH This is the link for the computer that i'm trying to build Budget is around $3000 or $3400 (3500 is ok but rather not) I am trying to use this as Gaming pc and Work station at the same time. My monitor does support 144hz. [Questions] x99 motherboard, worth it? Does my motherboard can handle all the fans? (2 of them will be radiator fans) 2 Gtx 980 will get 90+ fps for 3 years? Will this look cool after I build it? i'm trying to go white, black (maybe a bit of blue) theme. Will this run cool? Reference card vs Aftermarket card? Best gaming headphone, mouse pad, mouse? If you think the price can go down just a bit with same performance or the best for both gaming and work station, please pick a spec and post the link. Thank you

I have been looking into mechanical keyboards for some time and I have a good idea about the whole concept of how they function, different switches and so on. So far my favorite in terms of looks and overall reviews around the web are: Corsair K70 and Ducky Shine 3. I don't want the Razer Blackwidow, my friend has one and I don't like it. I've been looking for a keyboard to go well with my Corsair M65 mouse and Corsair SP2200 speakers. So far I will be able to afford one of these keyboards. Which one would you pick over the other and why? If you have any other suggestions please feel free to let me know. Things I want in a keyboard: Backlight (preferably blue) A Mechanical keyboard (not sure on the switches yet but I don't want MX Black for sure) Best quality possible A full sized or a tenkeyless, I don't mind Don't really need macros or media keys but I wouldn't mind them either until they don't extend the keyboard too much (have a limited space for a keyboard) Needs to be in UK layout. Needs to be easy to get in UK. Thanks.

Hey guys I want to customize a K70 rgb keyboard when it is released. So I'm looking for some keycaps for backlit keyboards, and I want to have some with curves and texture, like then ones that comes with the regulare K70, I just want them in a gun metal grey/dark grey color, and I use esdf for movement keys in game. I have been looking for keycaps with all of this, for some time now, but haven't been lucky enough to find some... This is my last resort, so if nobody here can help I probably can't get the keycaps I seek.
