Hi, so I'm running a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum on an I7-7700 (in a Z270 mobo) right now and I just received my 12700K and the mobo. Now I know the key differences between the CPU's and the sockets are that the LGA1151 is 75mm x 75mm and LGA1700 is 78mm x 78mm and for the CPU's, the IHS is lower on the new 12700K. All that considered, the bracket behind the mobo that hold the cooler is at it's smallest configuration right now (at 75mm x 75mm), so I'm guessing that by putting it bigger it would fit LGA1700, so that's one thing clarified for now. The other thing is that I ordered the retrofit kit from Corsair and it's expected to ship in two weeks, so no way I'm waiting that long lmao. Other option would be to buy a new AIO but that's the last thing I wanna do. Is it possible to mount that AIO to my new LGA1700 mobo while making sure it's fine? Worse case scenario I can trim the standoffs or something. Thanks!

Hi all- I currently have an AMD Ryzen 3700X with an ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports CPU cooler. Its been a decent CPU cooler over the past few years since I made the system but just recently the fan decided to spin itself to death and now I had two choices, either buy a new fan or just get a new CPU cooler. I've always wanted to try liquid cooling in a system and the Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX cooler caught my attention. I already have a corsair case and memory so I would like the CPU cooler to also match. If someone has a better cooler in mind let me know but I want it to match with the Corsair ecosystem that I've invested in. The case I have now is a Corsair 220T AirFlow and so it says it supports 360mm coolers but it looks like it is going to be an extremely tight fit so I think I would rather stick to 240mm. I am not overclocking the system at all so I don't need a lot of overhead. Thanks for everyone who responds advice.

So my Corsair H100i ins't being recognized by Corsair Link after I've installed new components (Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 3, Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR4, Intel Core i7 7700K). It worked on my old setup (ASUS P8Z77-V LX, nameless 16GB DDR3, Intel Core i7 3770K) just fine but now it doesn't even recognize that the cooler is installed. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm pretty lost and I'm sure I'd be able to get to a 5.0Ghz OC stable on the 7700K with the fans running full blast.

So the other night I was able to get a stable 4.0 GHz but running Cinebench the CPU temperatures were peaking at 89ºC which made me very uncomfortable, as well as froze for a second but still finished. Also Idles around 54ºC. I'm using the Corsair 240mm H100i to cool with the fans at max, I think I had the voltage at 1.45v should I try to fine tune and back that down? I would like to do a custom loop but that's slightly outside my budget. The options I was considering were either buy a second H100i for the fans so I can put the one I have in a push/pull config. (2700 Max RPM\; 77 CFM; Pressure 4mm/H20) But 4 of the Corsair SP120 PWM fans. Since they are a little lower on the scale from the ones that come with H100i I couldn't just by 2 and add them, could I? (2350 Max RPM; 62 CFM; Pressure 3.1mm/H20) Or I was looking at Noctua's NF-F12 Focused Flow Industrial fans for the same price. (3000 Max RPM; 110 CFM; Pressure 7.63mm/H20) Which do you guys think I should use? Or who thinks I should just get them all and make a video comparing them?

Hi LTT forums! I have a small problem... I have a Corsair h100i v2 aio cooler and have had one for about a year. half a year ago i got it exchanged because the pump stopped woriking. However, i hot a new one and its been working great since. The Problem I have is that the cooler is not detected by corsair link. this means that i cant controll it at all. The fans and pump is woking, aswell as the LEDs. I dont know if it is changing speeds or not because the last time i changed anything about its fan curves i set it to change the air speed based on the pump/water temp (and the water temp changes very slowly and little) Dont know how long its been like this for but it is frustrating me alot..... Sorry for bad english.. im from sweden

Quick question, Would you say the H100i RGB Platinum will be sufficient enough to cool the new 3950X in a M-ITX Case?

Hello, I just finished building my computer a little over a couple of weeks ago now and I was wondering if anyone knows where the USB header for the Corsair H100i cooler goes on this mobo? I was able to plug in all the other headers for the cooler and it seems like the water pump is working as well as the fans. The only thing not plugged in is the usb header which I assume controls the fan speeds. Anyone else have any experience with this combo? I want to turn down the fan speed of the fans on my reservoir because they're just so freaking loud. I have no access to control those fan speeds, I'm assuming until I can get that usb header in. Thanks and Happy New Year!.....hopefully monkaS

Hello guys, Have a Corsair H100i v2 AIO cooling with replaced Noctua NF-A12 PWM fans (2000rpm). Can't figure out why 2nd fan isn't being controlled by Link. It has default 960RPM~ and its revolutions aint changing at all. I guess it could be related to the 2nd 3-pin output, but anyways, two fans should be working simultaneously. Any thoughts?

So i recently received a old pc from a friend that was donating parts to help me build a gaming pc for my little brother which is now complete. Anywho the donated pc from my friend had a corsair h100i cooler from 2013. I currently have a 4690k with a hyper 212 evo and have been thinking about overclocking with the h100i if it is worth it. I also have the msi gaming 5 z97 motherboard, sapphire rx 590, and 750w psu. So the question is how much can really be gained for gaming and light streaming with overclocking with the h100i over the 212 evo. And if it is significant then what would be a good guide for overclocking the i5 4690k on the msi gaming 5 z97. Long winded post i apolgize and thanks ahead of time for anyone that actually read it.

Hey, I recently built my first PC with the following components: -i7-97000 -Asus Prime Z390-A -Gigabyte RTX 2060 -Corsair Vengence RBG Pro (16GB) -Corsair Carbide SPEC-OMEGA RGB -Thermaltake 600W RGB PSU and the topic of this post... -Corsair H100i AIO RGB Pro XT When we (Me & my dad) turned it on everything worked fine, including the fans on the AIO radiator. However, the RGB ring on the pump didn't turn on and when entering the BIOS, the CPU temperature reached 70 degrees celsius. We did all the connections correctly, reading the manual until we knew off by heart and watching as many videos as we could find, yet still nothing. I'm currently using the stock cooler that came with the i7-9700 CPU as a temporary replacement. I have no idea whether we received the product faulty and I should RMA it, or if it's a different problem on our end (or even if we still did something wrong despite the manual and videos) so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, before you suggest it, I have contacted Corsair customer support but with the COVID-19 stuff they're taking their understandably sweet time to respond and I very much want to have the PC fully built as soon as possible. Thanks, -M.

Hi, i'm having issues with my monitor showing no signal with my GPU. I bought a new case and a Corsair H100i rgb pro XT cooler to replace my Hyper Evo 212 and transferred all the components into the new case. while i was disconnecting MY MSI 5700 XT gaming x from the motherboard I broke the pci-e latch by accident. After getting everything installed into the new case i tried turning it on but my monitor shows no signal. I took the pc apart again and reassembled everything and still no luck. I switch the gpu to another pci-e slot and still no luck. The LED lights up on the GPU but that fans on the GPU don't spin. Everything else in the pc is working fine but the GPU. I tried swapping out the 5700XT with a vega 56 and that didn't work either, same problem but the fan moved a lil like it was struggling but then stopped. Then I used a rx 580 and that worked. It seems like it's only the GPU's that require 12 pin connectors aren't working. Does anyone have any ideas or a solution? I'm thinking it's a power issue like maybe the liquid cooler is drawing to much power and the PSU can't handle that and the GPU now? Btw my PSU is a EVGA supernova 850 G2.

Hi all, Yesterday evening I was gaming and suddenly my pc slowed down real quick and I couldnt perform any actions anymore so I decided to restart my pc. During the restart after the gigabyte logo the pc shutdown itself so I couldnt get past the gigabyte logo screen. After the shutdown i went into the bios I saw my cpu clocking itself to 0.2ghz and it had a temp of 91c. I have no clue what the cause of all this is. Have been using this machine for 8 months without any hitch. Als the fans on the radiator are spinning and in the bios it shows 0rpm for the cpu fan. And my cpu is set to base clock speed without any OC. Any help is greatly appreciated Specs: I7 4790k Corsair h100i (not the v2) 16gb ram Msi GTX 1080 Gigabyte B85 HD3 Things I have tried: Put the cpu fan cable coming out of the cooling block to a system fan header. Tried to reseat my cooling block on the cpu. (Sorry for any mistakes in the spelling. English is not my first language.)

Greetings, Linusites! I've been struggling to find a short depth rackmount server case that will suit my needs. I'm building an AV/ music production/ recording/dmx light controller system that will fit into a portable SKB flight case along with power conditioner, racked audio interface, etc. So, the issue is finding something that will fit the skb (internally about 17" depth), can account for the gpu (so, 4u), can fit the corsair h100i v2 liquid cooling on the back, optical drive bay, and sufficient hard drive slots (2 is fine 4 is great). Anybody, able to help a brother out? Will send positive vibes and/or bar shwag merch for the assist! Thanks! Sincerely, Struggling N. Naptown

Hi guys, I built a new system lately using the corsair 460x case and h100i cooler. Picked the case cause of the looks. I anticipated it would be troublesome to work with but the smaller formfactor and glass got me. Plus I got it for 100 cad. Anyway fixed the cooler and the system works great, but I'm a bit worried about the stress on the AIO tubes. I have attached a pic of the system. Sorry for the image quality, no good lighting atm. The tubes have some wiggle to them but it's very stiff towards the connection to the radiator. Im worried it might leak or break after a while. Not worried about any kinks as the tubing is really well built. I do hear some liquid bubbling sound occasionally but I think it's just the AIO ramping up or something. Temps are good on my processor. Should I play safe and invert the baseplate to relieve some of the strain? Has anyone used this combination and have it running in the same way? And the rad won't fit on top cause of ram clearance.

Hi, i made yesterday a custom mount for my GTX 770 from Inno3d. Here are some Pictures for you all. It is not the best one, but it works fine. I drilled the holes off center for better fit and more material to drill in.

Hi Peeps, i'm not really good with this whole liquid cooler cpu coolers, but i was just wondering what happens if the liquid inside runs out. would you still be able use it and get decent temps on your cpu ? or air cooler would be a better choice ? thanks in advance, have a nice day

Hello friends, I am looking into an AIO water cooler unit for my rig. After a few hours of Googling and perusing through various forums it seems most people recommend one of these two AIOs: NZXT Kraken x61 Corsair H100i My current set-up is an i7 4790K, on an ASUS ROG Maximus VII Hero motherboard, nestled inside of a Corsair 760T case. There's a $30 aftermarket CPU cooler I bought off at Fry's and it...seems okay for now, but I'm considering overclocking the 4790K later on. I've read on some Newegg/Amazon reviews that some people were having issues with Corsair AIOs not always being fully seated on ASUS mobos? I think it may have been with the H100s not the H100is, and in any case sounds more like an installation error than an issue with the hardware itself, but if anyone has some opinions or experiences they'd like to share with me it would be appreciated. Also as a secondary question: I have the aftermarket CPU cooler and a AF140 fan mounted to the top of my case as an exhaust. If I were to install one of these AIOs would I end up replacing those two fans with the two fans on the AIO only? Thanks in advance! Edit: I should add that I'm willing to look at other AIO units besides these two — they just seem to be the most frequently recommended ones.

So, I'm new to Building a pc, and before I buy all the components for a pc, I want to make sure if a Corsair H100i can fit in a Corsair 780T case? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello again, to the enigmatic members of the forums who find their way to this post! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bDGp4DSo this is the build I have settled on, decided to lift my budget a little for the i7 and a Blue Snowball microphone with a stand and pop filter. Anyway my conundrum here today is where to position each of the fans, I was thinking (2 x SP 140's on the front as intakes, 1 x AF 140 at the back as an exhaust and now this is the tricky part, should I pull air into the case with a top mounted H100i or vent it out? Should the fans be above or below the radiator? I have no idea what to do! Also a completely off topic question, should the PSU be fan side down, or fan side up? Thanks for taking the time to answer this probable and most likely super idiotic question!

Now that I learned that the Kraken X61 won't fit in my case, I decided to go with Corsair H100i. Now I'm wondering are those stock fans any good? Are they loud? Should I change them? And if so, with what fans should I change them? And is the pump loud?
