Well, the title says it all: I'm making a few changes to my existing build, but there won't be any major hardware changes; only for better overall cooling. Earlier this week, I managed to give away my previous case & fans I had in my "untweaked" build --[Corsair Crystal Series 680X & the LL120 RGB fans]-- mainly because I was an idiot & went with a case & fans that I thought would be good for me, but I kind of found out the hard way. So, "What will be different?" you might be asking. Only the case & the fans I'm going with while everything else will be the same. Like I said, this will mainly be for better overall airflow & cooling which should definitely yield some much better results compared to my previous attempt at my 1st build. The case I'm upgrading to is the Phanteks Eclipse P600S because IMO, it screams highly quality & I've heard LOADS of great things about it anyway & for case fans, I'm going with 4 of Corsair's ML140 Pro RGB fans. I had to do a little bit of research on my part to determine how my RGB will be setup. No worries, I found what I need to know on that. However, there are a few questions I have regarding this change I'm making to my build: 1.) Does anyone know how good the fans are that come with the P600S? I know they're 140mm & static pressure fans from what I know, but I don't know anything else other than that. 2.) Also, according to a source I read recently, the fan hub has a 5th port that takes a PWM signal from your motherboard & will apply PWM control to any other fans you have connected to the hub. What I'm wondering is will I need to hook up this 5th port on the fan hub to a header on my motherboard in order to have PWM control for the fans AND be able to have my RGB effects? [BTW, I should mention for the RGB setup, I'll be using the Lighting Node Pro & the 6-port RGB controller for the fans.] I hope that someone here can somehow help me out with this. You all know the deal- if you have any questions for me or need more details, drop me a line & I'll get back to you! I can not freaking wait to redo my build for better airflow & cooling! okay so I’m building a new pc and I’m wondering how would I be able to plug in 9 fans into mbo, they are the af120 Corsair fans white led, and my motherboard is an msi b550 tomahawk atx am4 with 8 4pin fan headers, do I need buy a hub because I don’t really want to buy a commander pro since they are non rgb, please help, please and thank you.

UPDATE: I tried everything I could, so in a last desperate attempt at troubleshooting I called Corsair. Told them everything that was wrong, and they said the node was most likely just broken on arrival, so they are going to just send me one So I’m in a bit of a predicament. Started to rebuild my computer yesterday (finally switched to ddr4), so I bought a new case to cement the upgrade. I bought the Corsair iCue 4000x RGB case. I install everything normally, even having a friend of mine check my work since it’s been so long since I had done any pc work. The pc boots fine (though it will only CSM boot, it wont go past bios if i try to UEFI boot). The fans wont light up, but they are spinning. One fan will only light up white, and cannot be controlled from the latest iCue software. Here is some of the troubleshooting I have done. I checked for updates on the node and it was up to date. They are plugged in correctly in ports 1-3. Port 1 seems to be the only one that works. Port 1 will make one fan glow white, but not controllable in iCue Port 2 worked for about a minute, glowed yellow/blue but still not controllable in iCue Port 3 has never worked. I have it set to the correct series of fans in iCue My Corsair Vengeance Pro rgb ram works perfectly fine

Hi there so I’m currently building a pc for someone but I have run into my first hiccup. I had everything plugged into the motherboard ready to go so I switched it on and everything ran smoothly however, the lights on the 4 Corsair LL120 Fans (1 at the back and 3 front panel ones) did not come on at all and then I realised that there was no RGB header on the board at all :/. Is there an easy work around to this? I had a look at the Corsair fan hub/lighting pro but we do not care about being able to control the lights we just want them on. Please let me know if any solutions . I am running a Corsair spec delta RGB case and added an extra Corsair LL120 fan at the back.

So the other night I was able to get a stable 4.0 GHz but running Cinebench the CPU temperatures were peaking at 89ºC which made me very uncomfortable, as well as froze for a second but still finished. Also Idles around 54ºC. I'm using the Corsair 240mm H100i to cool with the fans at max, I think I had the voltage at 1.45v should I try to fine tune and back that down? I would like to do a custom loop but that's slightly outside my budget. The options I was considering were either buy a second H100i for the fans so I can put the one I have in a push/pull config. (2700 Max RPM\; 77 CFM; Pressure 4mm/H20) But 4 of the Corsair SP120 PWM fans. Since they are a little lower on the scale from the ones that come with H100i I couldn't just by 2 and add them, could I? (2350 Max RPM; 62 CFM; Pressure 3.1mm/H20) Or I was looking at Noctua's NF-F12 Focused Flow Industrial fans for the same price. (3000 Max RPM; 110 CFM; Pressure 7.63mm/H20) Which do you guys think I should use? Or who thinks I should just get them all and make a video comparing them?

Recently built a pc in the nzxt s340. my cpu is the i5-6600k cooled by a cryorig H7 and a gtx 1070. Playing games like Overwatch, the gpu temps went to about 58c-63c at load. The fan setup was one fan at the top and one at the back both exhausting air. However, I recently decided to buy two Corsair AF-120 fans for summer. However, when I set up the two 120mm fans up as intake in the front, gpu temps rose to 65c-70c? This does not really make sense to me as with two fans intaking in the front and two exhausting in the top and back the airflow should be pretty good and the pc should be running cooler, but its running hotter. If anyone knows the issue and could help it would mean a lot.

Hello, I'm going to buy a CORSAIR iCUE 465X RGB case which includes three Corsair LL120 RGB fans those are already installed in the front, but I'm planning to get three more. I would install two of these on the upper side of the case pulling air out of the case and the last on the backside pulling air in. 4 in - 2 out would be positive air pressure in the case relative to the room air pressure. The case has a glass panel in front of the three included fans (air in) and the fan on the backside would be restricted aswell, because the PC will be in a corner (right side directly at the wall, back side with a bit more distance to the wall). So that might balance it out I guess? Would that be a good solution or is there a better solution?

I built a gaming/editing PC recently, specs are as follows: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16gb 3200mhz Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC GPU: XFX RX 580 8GB Black Edition PSU: Bitfenix Formula Gold 650 Watt Case: Cooler Master Masterbox MB500 I'd like to replace the stock fans with new ones, and I'm even planning on putting a 360mm radiator in the front. I'm thinking of using Corsair HD120 RGB fans in the entire thing, but I've read that they are mostly good for static pressure situations, and not so much for airflow... is that true? Should I switch to the LL fans? Or would I put HD fans on my radiator and LL fans on the top/back for the exhaust?

Hi community, I want to replace my stock fans from the H100i v2 with HD120mm RGB fans from Corsair. Is it possible to control (speed and lighting) of a Corsair HD120mm RGB fan with Corsair link when it's connected to the h100i v2 Pump? Thanks for your help!

Hi When I bought my PC back in 2013 it came with several problems so the boutique included 2 Corsair SP120L as a way to say sorry when I sent it back for them to fix. In the beginning they were pretty silent but now one of them is unbearably loud. I thought that putting some sewing machine oil would help but I discovered that you can't remove the little plug that normally existis under the sticker on the exhaust side. So, is there anyway to make it quieter again?

Considering the Corsair 900D case and their fans, and while focusing on having as much fan control as possible, am I better off with purchasing multiple SP120 PWM High Static/Performance fans for everything (and controlling their speed through the motherboard) or should I stick with using SP120 High Static in combination with AF120 when it comes to a push/pull config? I guess I'm stuck on why there are so many options for these fans. Are the SP120 High Static fans really that noisy (compared to their "quiet" fan brother)? Is it better to use the quiet versions of the fans (and just have more of them)? I would think that if I can control the SP120 PWM fans, then using only those fans (especially in a push/pull) would be my best overall option. What is the purpose for so many fan options? Also, is there any reason or benefit to having a 140mm radiator (and fan of course) for the rear exhaust? What about a 240mm radiator in the front? For this case, where are the optimal places to use radiators? Push/Pull as much as possible? ADDED: How much can the SP120 High Static fans be lowered through the motherboard (ie. Asus X99-E WS using Asus AI Suite)?

Corsair Air Series SP Vs Cooler Master JetFlo. Which one's better for case and which one's better for radiator, any suggestions ? And which one's overall better ?
