The front i/o panel for the 270r has 2 usb-2.0 ports already on it, however I damaged one of them, and also will be getting a new motherboard that allows USB-C. This case has an interesting mounting method for the ports, it's like a slot around rubber, and compatible ports seem to only be made by Corsair. There is a usb-c that comes with the Obsidian 750D upgrade kit that is secured in the same way as the 270r, however that kit is unavailable and I only want the USB-C cable.

UPDATE: I tried everything I could, so in a last desperate attempt at troubleshooting I called Corsair. Told them everything that was wrong, and they said the node was most likely just broken on arrival, so they are going to just send me one So I’m in a bit of a predicament. Started to rebuild my computer yesterday (finally switched to ddr4), so I bought a new case to cement the upgrade. I bought the Corsair iCue 4000x RGB case. I install everything normally, even having a friend of mine check my work since it’s been so long since I had done any pc work. The pc boots fine (though it will only CSM boot, it wont go past bios if i try to UEFI boot). The fans wont light up, but they are spinning. One fan will only light up white, and cannot be controlled from the latest iCue software. Here is some of the troubleshooting I have done. I checked for updates on the node and it was up to date. They are plugged in correctly in ports 1-3. Port 1 seems to be the only one that works. Port 1 will make one fan glow white, but not controllable in iCue Port 2 worked for about a minute, glowed yellow/blue but still not controllable in iCue Port 3 has never worked. I have it set to the correct series of fans in iCue My Corsair Vengeance Pro rgb ram works perfectly fine

Hey everyone, tech and retro video game enthusiast here doing my first few posts! I bought a 570X case from Corsair a few years back when it was released, I absolutely love it and want to keep it for my new Ryzen build. I have had some issues that unfortunately happened outside of warranty and want to fix myself. First problem, one of the front fans has died and I don't trust the others. I want to replace the 3 front facing fans with these (LL120) but still have RGB control via the case controller and buttons. Would it be as simple as just unscrewing and swapping out as a plug and play or is it more complex? The LL120 comes with its own RGB controller but one is already mounted in the case. Second problem that is of lesser concern, the front 3.5mm audio out is absolute trash. Sounds horrible and I didn't realise it was bad until my motherboard 3.5mm out started playing up with the connection (constant disconnect and reconnect). Has anyone repair a front audio connector before? any tips? When I have the new motherboard Ill probably just go straight into that or a DAC but if its fixable that would be great. Open to all suggestions I have been a system builder and retro modder for a while so I have tech building and mid-tier repair experience. Thanks!

Hello, I'm going to buy a CORSAIR iCUE 465X RGB case which includes three Corsair LL120 RGB fans those are already installed in the front, but I'm planning to get three more. I would install two of these on the upper side of the case pulling air out of the case and the last on the backside pulling air in. 4 in - 2 out would be positive air pressure in the case relative to the room air pressure. The case has a glass panel in front of the three included fans (air in) and the fan on the backside would be restricted aswell, because the PC will be in a corner (right side directly at the wall, back side with a bit more distance to the wall). So that might balance it out I guess? Would that be a good solution or is there a better solution?

Just watched a video review of the Corsair Carbide SPEC 6 PC Case and I was wondering if anyone had bought this case also had a Corsair CX550W PSU or something similar and if so, how well did the cabling fit? Looking at the video, I was so unsure that the cables would actually fit very well...

I have noticed some of my cases have this thing in the image. My best guess is that it is for a WiFi antenna. Anyone know? The exact case in the image is a Corsair carbide series spec-01. Thanks! EDIT: Sorry I put blurry picture I am using my phone.

Hello, I just built my first pc and I have run into some problems my chassis fans are running extremely slow, need a push to sometimes work, and is being displayed as over 30,000 RPM when I try to monitor them through third-party software such as SpeedFan, and when I monitor it through my MOBO it gives me the same insane results case: Corsair 230T mobo: asus m5a97 r2.0

Hi Guys So I was just looking around for a Fan Controll and since I own a Corsair Case (780T) and I've got the AIO CPU Watercooling H100i. I was wondering if the Corsair Command Mini is useful? And if I would buy it would I be able of still controll my fans with the Fan Controll button on my Case if I manage to set it up right? And maybe someone can explain to me how the corsair link works I kind of understand it but I dont get for what the Corsair Link Lighting Node is. And how everything connects and stuff. It would be great if someone could explain that. Thank you.

Hello, I'm having a hard time deciding a case. [What I want] 1. Decent airflow I will use H100i to cool cpu I like to use reference GPU card because..... it just looks cool idc how bad it perform compare to after market.....it just loooks awwwwwwesome 2. Looks clean and cool 3. Not extremely huge ^ I bought a pre-built pc last year (I refund it cuz it was horrible) and the case of it was huuuge. I'm not familiar with computer building things (I know all the parts and stuff but doesn't have any actual experience with pc) I just want mid sized case that doesn't look extremely dumb and big. Dimensions (HxWxD) Inches: 22.4" x 9.64" x 21.92" Front Ports: 4 x USB 3.0, HD Audio, 1x SuperCharge Front: 1 x 230mm Rear: 1 x 120mm Top: 2 x 230mm <- removed and replaced with Corsair H100i (have 2 120mm fans) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This was the case i had on my prebuilt pc and it was too big for me. 4. room for future upgrades 5. PC that can handle following spec i7 5930k Asus x99 deluxe motherboard Gtx 980 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Just put it simple because these are the main parts that "HAVE" to fit in side the case 6. Not extremely noisy I'm not really sure how loud the fans are so yeah... In my opinion, the noise from my prebuilt pc (230mm fan on the front) didn't really bothered me. <- My prebuilt pc had quiet a lot of fans running in full speed with after market video card in idle (Not really sure in under load because I refund the pc as soon as I turned it on once) [Anyway] I'm thinking about Corsair 450D, 540 and 750D. I am not sure if 750D is smaller than case from pre built pc. Not planning on doing any insane liquid cooling beside using H100i for the CPU. Also, what's better on airflow + not that loud under load 450D vs 540 vs 750D? I am planning on filling out all the fans that case can handle and I'm not sure how loud it's gonna be. I'll be fine if it's loud as 1x230mm and 3x120mm fans running in full speed. What's the best case for High airflow + future upgrade + mid size + clean looking? I'm open for any cases if it has following stats. Price doesn't matter for me.

Hello, and thanks for reading this already! I'm going to get the Air 540 case of Corsair, and I'm going to replace the fans with very shiny led fans . Can anyone help me? I've got some questions! Which fans are supposed to take air in and which one is supposed to blow it out? The front and back fans are working with the CPU and GPU, but what are the top ones meant for? How are the HDD/SSD's etc. cooled? (The ones on the other chamber) Where do i use AirFlow fans, and where Static Pressure ones? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to put together a new build and was considering the corsair 540 case. I was hoping there was some people that have built in this case. My question is if you think it would be possible to mount a tube style reservoir to the left vertical bay cover (so the reservoir would be outside on the front of the case). The inlet/outlet tubing would come out from the bottom of the reservoir and enter the second vertical bay cover (drill two holes in the cover with the proper OD). Any help or insight is appreciated!
