My wife's iPhone randomly stopped working, in the sense of only allowing an internet connection for meta apps (i.e. WhatsApp and Instagram). All other Apps (including settings and safari and even the App Store) couldn't connect to the internet (Wi-Fi and cellular). So we tried everything Turning it off and on again Hard reset (Volume Up, Down and Side button) Backup the iPhone and restore it via the Backup (through Win 11) Reset all together And only with a fresh slate, it started to connect to the internet again. As soon as we load the backup onto the iPhone, it stops working again. Now I wanted to save all of her media (photos & videos) and did it via the method in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YafOzenheLU So my question is: I have two huge folders with all the same files renamed to .jpg and .mp4 and I want to filter for working Photo and Video Files. Is there a quick way to do that, or do I have to go through 100+ folders and check every of the 200+ files in every folder? Tysm in advance!

For context, all of these problems started at one particular moment. I locked my computer and got something to eat and when I came back, the screen was black and the computer wouldn't respond so I just turned it off and back on and then the internet wouldn't connect. I don't know if I corrupted anything if it was updating or something but apparently it is supposed to be able to fix itself if it is turned off during an update and it didn't say it was updating on the screen. I did a bunch of stuff I could find online to fix it and eventually I just restored it to a previous version about 2 weeks before the problems arose. It turned out to be a system process that stopped and I turned it back on and it fixed. Now, a week later, my windows says that it isn't activated and the key is invalid. Error 0xC004F012. Apparently my key is electronically imbedded but the command to see it doesn't work. I keep getting notifications that the firewall is turned off when I never touched it and I can't open half of my apps or download stuff because I don't have windows anymore. I thought it was a virus and I did a scan and did a Malwarebytes scan but there is nothing. All of the fixes online usually require me to use the command prompt to do something but I don't have access for some commands. Error 5. When doing some of the fixes, one of the system processes (sppsvc or Software Protection) would not restart because I didn't have access and couldn't give myself access whether I changed the registry or used commands. To clarify, it is my computer and I am the only user. I believe the stopped processes is the root cause of all of the issues I've been experiencing including the firewall and the internet. This seems like either a very simple or very complicated problem. I will reply with further information if it would help and also feedback of any whether any suggested solutions worked. This forum is my last stop before I try to find someone to fix it so any help would be much appreciated. System Specs: Windows 11 Home 64 bit (Latest Version and no new updates.) i wanted to fix my laptop because school is coming back i installed windows 7 and updated it but there was a power outage in the middle of windows update, so i booted a windows 10 installer (since i wanted to upgrade). when it came to selecting partitions to install windows on, it showed a warning that windows cannot be installed to this disk because of bios settings?(from what i remember) i suspected it was a file system corruption so i opened cmd and launched diskpart. i cleaned the disk and it shows that it cleaned it successfully then i created a partition. i weni went back to the installer but it still doesnt work. i booted up parted magic(from ubcd) so i could diagnose what is happening. i looked for discussions online about this problem but the only thing i found was that my disk might be possibly raw. i cant fix it since i only have another laptop that is old and i dont have any tools to remove the hdd from my broken laptop and i also dont have connectors to connect the hdd to the usb ports of my old laptop. the hdd can't be detected by bios and parted magic but can be detected by windows installer, so what is the actual problem?? ive tried changing my bootable usb but it seems tht the problem is in the bios(?) i dont know really because i am not fond of this stuff (sorry for bad grammar)

Hi, I've noticed some weird lines on display (sample in the attached pic) , could this be a hardware or a software error? Has anyone encountered this before?

Good Day! My HP Pavilion 14 (14-ac100ne) had been facing a vague problem lately. I use Windows 10 Pro 21H1 and my laptop shutsdown without any warning at 70% or 50% battery. After which, I wouldn't be able to turn on the laptop without the AC Adapter. When it's turned on (with the AC Adapter connected), it shows me that the battery charge is 70% or higher. Not just that, but it also stops charging somewhere around 90%. It's kind of weird because the same battery gave me about 4 hours of battery life 2 weeks prior. I had reached out to the HP Community Support with this issue, followed the basic troubleshooting steps they asked me to do. None of those worked. Therefore, they asked me to do a BIOS update with the file link they sent me. Unfortunately, the update had failed and now I am not able to boot to the Operating System. I tried following some tutorials, one of which was restoring the BIOS with a key combination (uploaded by HP themselves) and another one with a USB drive. Both didn't seem work. Informed this to the Community Support, but they couldn't do anything. Is there anyway to revive my laptop? Please help me!

Hello, My pc boots into this screen, Apparently my main bios is corrupted. This happened after the electricity cut off and my pc turned off. When I turned it on this happened. It used to be the screen without the window, and it would constantly restart. The splash screen doesnt show up, so pressing ESC or F10 to get to boot options doesnt work. I looked up a few threads, they call it a bootloop. There are several ways to fix it, like pressing both power and reset button for 10 seconds, and to press power button and hold then turn off the power supply of some sort of sequence but these didnt work. Lastly I found this video https://youtu.be/CAozAJa5MY He demonstrates the same problem i have. What he does is short pin number 1 and pin number 6. And the bootloop will stop and the window saying (the main bios is corrupted) appears. After that he just presses ok and it loads a bit and his PC is solved. I followed the video and the dialog appeared for me, BUT WHEN i press Ok it loads to %100 and restarts and shows the dialog again. And repeats. I keep pressing ok, it loads saying “updating Main bios”, but then restarts and back to the same window. MY PROBLEM (TLDR) I followed the video, but when loading screen ends, it restarts to the screenshot i linked. No matter how many i press ok to updating bios, it just restarts and shows same screen again. I am a college student and i do need this pc for studying,i literally finished typing an essay on my phone, any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I would love to get some input on this. Does anyone else experience reliability issues with fTPM on AMD platforms? Before I switched to a dedicated TPM chip, my fTPM would sometimes (it happened about twice a month or so) get corrupted for no apparent reason and had to be reset during boot. I usually noticed because Windows Hello stopped working. And yes, I did check for malware but all scans from both Windows Defender and Malwarebytes came up with no results. In case it might be relevant, this is on a Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming 3 mainboard and a Ryzen 7 3700X. Has anyone had similar experiences? I would love to know more about this.

Today I went to the store and bought the cheapest 128GB micro SD card I could find as storage for my Raspberry Pi. I then ran write and read tests using f3 which revealed 9 Megabytes of bad sectors, a log file containing f3write and f3read logs is attached to this post. The card in question is a 128 Gigabytes large Müller (own brand) Class 10 microSDXC card that cost me 23€ and came with a 5-year warranty even though I could not find any information on the card online. So should I try to return the card and buy another one from a trusted manufacturer or should I just try to use the card and hope for the best? And do new cards usually have a small amount of bad sectors or did I just have some bad luck with this one? f3 log.txt

It's been a while, about 9 months, since my 2tb external HDD got corrupted when it accidentally unplugged thanks to it's wobbly cable. It has always been like that since I bought it in 2014 and never had a problem with it before, also the drive came formated to NFTS as intented to be used as my Time Machine. During this time, the unit has always been detected by the Mac and other PCs, the HDD doesn't do any weird noises and acts just as normal. In this time I've tried some methods that can just be summed up in just 3: Using Disk Utility's Main options: First aid, partition, erase and restore being futile but just dropping the diagnosis of the error in question com.apple.diskmanagement.disenter error 0 . Accessing the root user and editing in terminal the path being shown in this tutorial. While being a well elaborated tut, it didn't solve my problem. Using photorec and testdisk. Of course, first installing the Unix libraries that Mac OS lacks, to have the programs work properly. Again, my external unit was detected but I wasn't able to do anything at all after that. Of course, i've tried forcing mount and unmount with all privileges but this issue i am having can't be solve that way. I've seen in some Apple dedicated forums, including the official one that this has been a problem since the Catalina update, which is the one I'm using and in which the com.apple.diskmanagement.disenter error 0 happened to me. I had luck in this forum with my previous problem and i hope this awesome community knows a way out of this error that is entirely Apple's responsibility. Happy Holidays!

Hello, community. This is my very first post here, please bear with me, I just made an account in hope to get some help/answers. The PC I built crashes very frequently into BSOD with MEMORY MANAGEMENT listed as an error. What I have tried so far: • Reinstalled Windows twice with updates • Running the system with XMP profile disabled - the result is the same, the system goes into BSOD. • Running the system with XMP profile enabled - the result is the same, the system goes into BSOD. • AIDA64 test for 30min shown no errors, the system was stable, no issue, no crash. • Test 1 using MEMTEST86 and both RAM sticks installed running for 2 hours and 25minutes then cancelled shown 38 errors (see pic 1.). • Test 2 using MEMTEST86 and FIRST RAM stick installed running for 12 hours and 53 minutes shown 0 errors (see pic 2.). • Test 3 using MEMTEST86 and SECOND RAM stick installed running for 5 minutes then cancelled shown 2 errors (see pic 3.) I assume if I let this test continue using the 2nd RAM stick it would end up with those 38 or more errors. The components I purchased are: • MB - GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO AC • CURRENT BIOS - F11p but I experienced problems with F2 as well • CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT • COOLER - Corsair iCUE H100i PRO XT RGB • RAM - CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V CMK64GX4M2D3600C18 – it is listed on QVL on the GIGABYTE website • NVME - GIGABYTE GP-AG42TB • GPU - 1070TI (until 3070 is in stock) • PSU - 850W Corsair RM Series RM850 (2020) • CASE - LANCOOL II MESH PERFORMANCE • OS - Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit Ver.1909 (OS build 18363.1256) My question & concern is – is the 2nd RAM stick corrupted? Is there anything I can do to make system stable, and get rid off Blue Screen of Death for good? I really need a stable PC. I understand there is no compatibility issue with components selected. Please help. This is the 3rd PC I have built in my lifetime and never had this kind of problem. I am a creative designer and I use intensive software packages for digital reconstruction using laser scanning and photogrammetry methods. So I wouldn’t say I am a newbie when it comes to building computers and PC in general. But right now I am very desperate and clueless. PLEASE HELP.

I have a corrupted hard drive and was attempting to reinstall windows 10 64bit and it didn't work at all until I booted from the usb, so I finally booted from the usb and I started doing the install I deleted all my partitions and thought I was done. It got to 17% completion and then it just said cannot complete install and quote unquote "anything you have done will not be saved" I restart thinking u know what I can handle the crashes every 10 minutes, and then this happened (picture below). So I disconnected the usb Ctrl alt del and the thing said no operating system again. I don't have enough money to get a new hard drive right now but I literally can't download windows to the hard drive it's corrupted and it's not getting past 1% on the download anymore. I'm not 100% sure how I corrupted my hard drive but I know it was around the time I was playing 3 games and downloading a lot of stuff like 4gb downloads from chrome and extracts to folders to play other games, idk how to turn overclock off and stuff I'm not that smart

I just recently changed from HDD to SSD for my laptop. But I used both 2.5(HDD) and 3.0(SDD) SATA slot. After installing windows, etc. I tried to open programs from the old drive(HDD) and it works just fine, but slow. But when I opened steam, it said registry broken and need repair by the program itself. So I give admin privilege and after that, it run fine. The problem is, when I opened Memu emulator from old drive(HDD), it also said need to repair environment bla bla bla. I just give admin privilege. The emulator works, but the internet doesnt. I changed the settings from NAT to Bridged Network, told to install some chinese driver to enable it. Suddenly, my adapter is gone so I restarted. Then it wont boot. Any idea how to help?

I have an half dead USB stick, and am wondering if i can revive it somehow, I have already gotten all data from the folder i was trying to open, its very odd, sometimes it might open a folder, sometimes the explorer will not respond and I have to unplug the USB. If there is no way to revive it, it's ok, because there isn't a lot of important data on it. Jauns_video.mp4

after formating it and redownloading the windows 10 it goes 0 in size, and now i can't use my usb for windows 10. But before this i installed windows 10 on a HDD it worked but i can't install the needed windows update after trying the solution for it, failed then i had to reinstall it. after reinstalling again i tried to go for SFC /scannow but it didn't fix the corrupted files and just detected it. tried many other solution for it but ultimately failed. so now im thinking that it might be the usb as it was an old usb with windows might be around 5 - 6 year old. so i think i just need a new usb with windows 10

Hello I have been having problems with hard drives that keep failing on my computer prematurely. Last year I had a drive (seagate baracuda compute) start making a ticking noise every 15-30 seconds kind of like the sounds like the arm touching the spinning disk and deflecting off. Sure enough when I did a scan I found corrupt sectors, so I bought a new drive(western digital), RMA'ed the seagate and started using the Western digital. Within a few weeks I noticed the WD doing the same behavior and corrupt sectors. I have been juggling RMA's drives ever since and have killed 4 in the past year all having the same issue soo after install. Could this be a power supply problem or motherboard? The drives are held in an enclosure in the case on rubber pads. Also all my ssd (m.2 and sata) are fine and no issue, I have swapped the sata cable as well as switch power connector used on the hard drives. I don't know what to do other just buy ssd's since they seem to survive whatever is happening.

I don't why but my pc is glitching since few days like this. My frame rates are dropping while I'm gaming too. Is it because of win 11 or any other virus? and suddenly start menu opens up and file images are also corrupt 854718998_2022-11-1711-32-18.mp4

Today it was my first time experiencing power outage while my PC was running. I have a UPS and bought it just for this case but sadly nothing went as expected. I thought power will come back shortly within 1-2 mins but it took almost 15 mins and I was playing Destiny 2 Crucible so I let my PC run on UPS battery, after 5 mins my UPS forced my PC to restart itself and made it stuck in windows bootloop so I had to force shutdown (Holding power button). What's strange is that after force shutdown and powering on PC again, it fixed bootloop but now i'm worried that I somehow corrupt windows since my PC first restarted itself after power outage and then I force shutdown while it was in middle of boot. I'm newb when it comes to PC and would appreciate a lot if anyone could help me.
