Hello! We are planning a new meeting room at work, and none of use have done this kind of setup before so i want to get help from you experts! We want a interactive monitor, we were looking at the Samsung Flip Pro (65 inch) and then we want a soundbar so we could also use the montior to watch some basic stuff like the Olympics etc with some decent sound. As far as i have gathered i would need to connect the soundbar to the monitor either using Optic og HDMI Arc/eArc. But this monitor do not support either of those connections, so my questions is, would it be possible to buy something like a Sont HT-S2000 and use the USB-A connection to connect the soundbar to the monitor while also using a USB-C cable from a laptop to the monitors USB-B connection. Would that mean i would get sound via the USB-A soundbar and also retain the interactive ascept of the monitor when connecting it from a USB-C connection to a USB-B connection on the back of the monitor? From what i read, using bluetooth from the monitor to the soundbar is not recommended and might cause delay. What would you guys suggest i do if i want a simple USB-C cable from the laptop ? Thank you!

Hello! Looking for help regarding a Huawei P20 Pro please. How can I charge and have a cable-USB mouse connected to this device at the same time. It doesn't seem to accept both at the same time. I tried using this splitter USB C Splitter . It only accepts one or the other. When mouse and charger are plugged in, none works. I don't know if this has anything to do with the Android 10 OS, not being able to protocol being charged and reverse charging a mouse at the same time. Any advice & help would be appreciated! Tx!

internet [HELP] Blocking a website form one connection only?
TechieASMR posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hello.. Please help! I have 2 different wired internet connections connected to my PC. Connection A is a Fiber connection (hi speed) with limited amount of data per month. Connection B is a USB tethered connection (slow speed) with unlimited data. my main data consumption is watching youtube. so when I have connected both connections, I want to use slow speed connection B for youtube and hi speed fiber for other things. my fiber ONT router is Huawei HG8245H5. I tried to block youtube.com from that router settings. but It doesn't work. (Please check the attached screenshot). So can I do this in Windows using some sort of a 3rd party software like GlassWire or NetLimiter pro? or is there any other way to block youtube.com only from my fiber router ? Thank you. -
. Hi all, I'm in the UK and my broadband provider is Sky. I have one of their Sky Hubs, but keep having issues with the WiFi. Devices will randomly disconnect, and if the hub restarts a large number of my devices will not reconnect unless they are manually reconnected. Sky are useless and say the reason for this is because I have 49 devices connected to the hub - their own website advertises the hub as accepting up to 64 concurrent connections. Sky's contract forbids the use of non-sky equipment connecting to the Internet. Essentially it appears you have to use their modem built in to the hub. It appears though that I can connect my own router/AP to the hub, turn off the hub's WiFi and dhcp and use the third party device to manage this. I shouldn't have to do this, but my wife is a doctor and also a high risk person so has to work from home but needs a reliable Internet connection. Sky have told me they've noted my concerns about this issue, and an Internet drop out issue, and I should call back after the pandemic has passed to see if the problem can be resolved then. That is simply no good and unacceptable, so I'm going to have to take matters into my own hands. Therefore I would grateful for your advice on the choice of router. My house is 2000sqft, I have powerline adapters installed {1200mbps speed} but the connection is still slow the receiving end. Ideally it will have fast WiFi {though my Internet speed is around 45meg) and it will need to accommodate more than 64 simultaneous connections (future-proofing) and have two 2.5gbe or 10gbe ports, though the latter is not essential. I have looked myself, but I seem to be drawing products that are £300+. I was hoping for £150 or less. I'm happy with amazon warehouse items. If anyone has ideas, I would be incredibly grateful. I feel abandoned by Sky, when all I am trying to do is provide good Internet for my wife so she can help in the battle with COVID-19. She's spent a number of days tethered to my phone because that has a more reliable signal. Thank you all in advance, and I hope you are safe and well. Take care.

i have a case with lots of front panel plugs. (phanteks elite). among those plugs there are 4 USB3.0 and 1 USB3.1 type-C. on the inside i got 2 USB3.0 connections to plug to the MoBo and another plug that looks more like a mini sata instead of pins that acording to the sticker belongs to the 3.1 on the front. the MoBo is Aorus Gaming 9 i am guessing things havent changed yet and each "pin plug" that should go on the MoBo still connects to only 2 USB sockets at the front right? so where exactly can i plug the 3.1 on the MoBo to get the full connection? does it even have the feature?

I've watched a bunch of videos on youtube showing how to build a pc as this is my first time. Through those videos I learnt about hardware and graphics cards ect. I also watched some Linus vids and that's what brought me here. I can't get a video clearly explaining like all the connections ect. It's probably there but I need more looking to do. Edit: Connections as in the wires connecting to like the power supply, motherboard, ssds/ other hardware cause they were very brief on it. If you couldn't follow I want more knowledge about building an AMD pc specifically with the connections. A full in-depth with a good view/close up and explanation of what is going on would be appreciated. Heres also my build if you're interested. All parts have already been ordered so I hope you guys don't see any issues with it lol. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/JahtanI/saved/7GMf7P

Why are establish connections showing in cmd on my pc after i turned off the wifi. i launched a program wondering if its established connections will be removed but they are still there, even after refreshing. Does this mean that my pc is communicating to another server, somewhere around the world, even if my pc is turned off.

Hi, so I'm wondering if there's an easy fix to my Discord not detecting my battle.net app, I have both Discord and Battle.net open simultaneously, yet to no avail. Anybody know what I could possibly do to make the two become friends and acquaint? I have already tried (and failed) the following: • Logged out and back into Battle.net • Closed Discord and Battle.net and obviously relaunched both • Reinstalled my Battle.net launcher • Tried connecting whilst playing Overwatch

Hey there peeps, Can't help but notice that in account settings, the Microsoft icon is set to the Windows logo and Discord icon is set to a padlock instead of the actual Discord logo. Just thought I'd point that out, have a nice day everyone. Thanks, Pointy

Speakers: JBL Arena 130's Amp: Dayton Audio APA150 Main Audio Source: Desktop PC Right now I have my amp plugged in via a 3.5mm to RCA cable to my PC (motherboard). Both speakers are plugged in via banana cables to the amp, everything so far works fantastic. The things I would also like to plug into the amp are: My headphones (Sennheiser HD 439's) and My TV/second monitor (an old cheap Haier HD TV with auxiliary and RCA connections) Is it possible? Do I need splitters or couplers or a switch? Help is appreciated, let me know if you need more info from me to be helpful.

I just recently purchased this vandal switch https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EUY612C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It did not come with any instruction on how to install it. I have looked online for similar switches and videos on how to actually install it on your mother board. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have wireless devices in the house that suffer from poor signal. The only solution is to bring the wireless router into the house which we've been reluctant to do because all the hardwired devices get their connection off of the wireless router ports so we don't want a bunch of cables going in/out of the house. The goal is to have connection everywhere with as few cables as possible going in and out of the house. I've tried many repeaters and they've all been garbage and a hassle. It's just a matter of what is that X Device. We purchased a TP-Link 5 port Switch in-between the modem and Wireless router but the devices weren't receiving any packets. Current Setup(See Image 1): The modem we have takes the Coax and has one output port that is connected to our Linksys EA6350 from the Linksys we have our wireless and hard wired connections. Future Setup(See Image 2): We need the modem of course, but from the modem which is in the garage we want to have a hub-like device that we can connect our hard-wired connections too that are in the garage. Then we want to also connect "hub-like" device to the wireless router that we've now moved into the house. I have, placed physically from left to right: NAGA-II 1680x1050 20" - Playstation3D Display 1920x1080 24" - NAGA 1680 x 1050 20" I am not trying to run the PS3D Display in 3D, just 2D. I only use it for 3D with my PS3 on the other HDMI input. All monitors are on my GTX 690 connected via DVI and the miniDisplayport is open. System info: P8Z77V-LK MoBo 16GB RAM i7-2600K GTX 690 - Monitors GTX 550Ti - Dedicated PhysX (no displays) Win10 x64 Pro Currently, I am stuck with 3840x1024. This seems to be a remnant from when the leftmost display was a 1280x1024 Dell thing. I want the resolutionz! Can you help? Is it possible to run surround at these resolutions: 5280x1050 5040x1050 Or anything higher than the 3840x1024 I seem to be stuck with. Thanks for reading and any advice or help in advance!!! I am also curious to know if I should be using the displayport output so all monitors are on the same GPU. Currently I have this: (Yes, the NagaII is physically swapped on my desk with the Naga but that shouldn't matter.) Should I get a mini-Displayport to DVI adapter for the monitor currently connected to DVI on GPU B and connect it to mini-Displayport on GPU A? Will this result in any performance &/ surround resolution increase to more than 1024 lines? If I should consolidate monitors to a single GPU, do I need to pay more than $10 for an adapter? Or should I get a mini-Displayport to HDMI adapter and connect the PS3DD that way and put the nagas on DVI? Does it matter in terms of performance which connectors im using to which monitors? Educate me, please people. This has been suggested as explanation by a friend: " Because your PS3 display is wider than the Nagas, but not much taller (in terms of lines of resolution), you are limited to the common aspect ratios they can all support in denominations of 5:4(x3) because it has to render the full resolution in equal lines (size of the monitor not mattering) or else it would be rendering multiple streams of different sizes which those cards are not designed to do. " Is this what I'm dealing with? Without swapping the nagas for two 24" 1080p panels, or the PS3DD for another 1050 panel, am I stuck at 1024? the only thing I don't follow in that logic is the "common aspect ratios" part. See here: If I add any other monitors in the future, they will be auxiliary and run by either the MoBo Intel GPU or possibly the 550Ti. I have also used Android apps to allow a tablet or phone to be used as an additional display on a PC, but this would likely NOT be recommended for use as a gaming or fast-response monitor. Probably not even for video playback unless the audio were routed to the device's speakers to sync with the video. /Sidetrack Anyway, do my connections questions make sense and does anyone have answers? Thanks for reading!

Hi there Ubuntu pro's! I've encountered a really frustrating problem. I've set up Ubuntu 12.04 on a new MSI laptop. Thing is, everything works fine, except the wireless connection. I can't seem to find any wireless network connections. Normally you get different networks that you can connect to when you click the wireless icon in the system tray. All I get is respectively: Wired Network (greyed out) disconnected (greyed out) Wireless Networks (greyed out) Disconnected (greyed out) Connect to Hidden Wireless Network... Create New Wireless Network... VPN Connections V Enable Networking V Enable Wireless Connection Information (greyed out) Edit Connections... So can't connect to anything and by what the terminal is showing me it seems that the network adapter is working fine? Can someone please help me out? Hi, I have recently got a fiber connection to my house and they, TalkTalk, have given me a standard BT Modem. My questions are: Would it benefit me to buy a better third party one? Would I get better speeds if I plugged Ethernet directly into the modem and what difference does getting a new one make? Thanks in advance
