Hello I have a N100 Mini-pc that I would like to have running in a remote location. Is miracast 2 the best way to connect it wirelessly to my main monitor? Is there other alternatives or free ones?

Hey guys, Quick question - I want to buy a sub for my setup, specifically PreSonus Eris Sub 8, but I want to connect it to my PC via a motherboard center/subwoofer channel - is it possible? What sort of cable do I need for that with that specific subwoofer? I currently have PreSonus Eris 3.5 monitors connected to my MOBO and a Sonos Ray with a S/PDIF. MOBO is an Asus Crosshair X670E Hero.

Hey! Without changing anything or going into any internet/router settings my connection in games started breaking. I tested with different games so it's not a one game issue. For example, in Fortnite I can run around and play the game like normal before all of a sudden the connection is lost and I'm sent back to the main menu. The same thing happens in Discord when in a voice chat with friends, all is well and then it lags without any warning. I'm connected via LAN from a WiFi extender (Speed Home Wifi - Telekom), this has not been an issue for about three years now. What is strange to me about this is that at no point does my internet connection break. I can load websites, watch videos, etc. I even had Fortnite going in the background and as I was browsing around and the game "lost" it's connection while everything else loaded without an issue. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? Maybe someone knows a diagnostic tool I can run or something? I'm really confused and it's very annoying. Thanks in advance and please feel free to ask any questions that might help you to help me! :)

Hello, here is my issue (sorry for grammar, second language): So when playing CS:GO my ping is usually around 50 like always, but when playing on specific servers (Faceit or Community owned servers) my ping spikes to 150 for like 5 seconds then it goes back to 50, it happens randomly while playing on these servers but it happens every few minutes. When playing on official CS:GO servers owned by valve my ping is normal and there are no spikes at all, it literally won't move above 45. I also noticed some lag while playing League of Legends, so it's probably the same thing happening. I also downloaded Valorant to test my ping and it's the worst out of all, constantly jumping between 30-150, even worse than CS:GO where it's just sudden spikes for a couple of seconds. Things i tried to fix this issue: - Switch off modem and router for hours and restart them. - Reset my original router to factory settings. - Full, clean windows reinstall (formatted every drive). - Windows is on a completely separate SSD. - I changed the cables going from the modem to my router and the one going from the router to my pc to brand new ones. - I tried a different router, already with the new cables, no change at all. - I reset my network settings in windows 10. After this I switched off my modem and router for a couple of minutes and restarted them, and my ping was normal after this network reset on all of the servers I had issues on. But after like half a day the high ping was back. I did the network reset several times and it always helped but only for half a day. - Internet speed tests on different websites show that my ping and connection are fine. - I did a ping test to my router and it seems fine. - When I do ping tests to foreign websites there are huge spikes and timeouts while pinging. - I called my ISP several times, and explained everything in detail, and they just send me a message at the end of they day, saying they fixed the issue (nothing changed at all, even after restarting modem and router). - I have no idea how long this problem existed, because I only started playing again recently, a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't notice any other problems while browsing the internet, watching videos and other stuff. As I can recall my ping in CS:GO was perfect in march, this year on all of the listed servers, community owned or not. Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone, So here is the thing. Right now I am at home using my PC. I am connected to the internet provided by my ISP which is named as City Cables. I have a friend who lives in my city but in a different area. He is at his home and has a laptop. He is connected to the internet using some other internet. We both are on different networks basically. I want to connect to his laptop from my PC via REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION to do some work. If we were using the same internet service, it wouldn't be a problem but we are on different networks. So what can we do to achieve this? We have already enabled the Remote desktop connection settings and we have connected to each other machines before as well when he visited my place, but unable to connect from different networks. I know there are other solutions present as well besides using the Remote desktop, but IS there any way to set up remote desktop in our scenario? Regards.

Hi, Today I started building a pc for my dad until i found out my system fan connectors do not fit the system fan headers on my motherboard. So far I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing has solved the issue, ehich is why I came for help here. The motherboard i am using is the Gigabyte Aorus B560i pro AX. You can see the headers, as well as the fan connectors on the pictures attached. I'd be extremely grateful for every tip/solution.

Right, had this problem almost a week now I've tried a lot of things troubleshooting wise, but I'll explain the problem first. I upgraded my pc recently, I changed the Mobo, Ram, CPU, GPU and PSU. Ever since upgrading I've been getting poor connection, I am able to connect to the internet, my speeds are fine my ping is fine. But I disconnect from several games within minutes of booting them up, Cod Warzone kicks me from server before I even hit the menu, Battlefield 4 does it within a minute or so, Faceit let's me join CSGO servers but the anti cheat disconnects and boots me from server. Also some web pages crash/can't be found after multiple refreshes they usually work. I've also had trouble connecting to windows update servers and more. But then on the other side, discord has worked perfectly fine all week, youtub videos play fine. I was able to play several hours of rust and am able to play CSGO on official matchmaking with no trouble. My current router is a Sagemcom Plusnet Hub One, not sure of model number but can find if necessary. My specs are as follows I5 10600K - Stock Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16GB 3200MHZ MSI Z490-A PRO 1080TI fe - Stock What already tried troubleshooting wise. - -I've reinstalled network adapters three times, twice with the Realtek 10.46.1231.2020 drivers. And once with windows suggest drivers which are 10.42.526.2020. -I also reinstalled graphic drivers, scanned and repaired both games. -Changed ethernet cables, tested for packet loss by doing ping test to my router and to google. Getting 0 packets lost on either 1ms response to my router and 33ms to google. -I also tried changing my preferred DNS, as well as doing a DNS flush. -Reset router, bought new ADSL filter box, New cat5e cables. -Tried seeing if disabling firewall & antivirus would help. -Tried setting new inbound rules for the mentioned games. -I tried Warzone/Bf4 with Firewall disabled on the router and in windows and the server still crashed before the main menu. -I've tried changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 and my IPV6 is already disabled -I ran windows system file checker in cmd to see if there were any corrupted windows files causing the problem, but nothing was found. -I also ran window memory diagnostic tool, I wasn't sure if corrupt memory could or could not cause this, same thing nothing was found, but when I restarted windows I was forced to reset network settings again as I couldn't get any connection at all. But my problem still persists -I disabled windows auto-tuning as I heard that can cause connectivity issues and also tried disabling LSO large send offload on IPv4 and IPv6. -Also tried another fresh windows install.

My ROUTER is a Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 R6700v3 During my 60 minute TeleHealth session with my health provider I lose video and audio connection but my provider says that they can still see my video and still hear my audio as I reconnect to the TeleHealth session. This same disconnect happens 6 up to 10 times during the TeleHealth session. My provider is using the same service with about 60 other clients and says that I am the only client who is having this disconnect problem. Also this disconnect problem happens with both my wireless laptop and my Ethernet wired to the router desktop computer. I have also tested my connection speeds both upload and download and it is averaging 315 Mbps therefore it's not a speed issue and the ping time to the first HOP is always under 5ms. What could be wrong with the Router or Router settings to cause these disconnects in Tele-Health sessions? Is their a website to test the “Tele-Health abilities” of my ROUTER? A Diagnostic of sorts? Is this kind of issue uniquie with brands or types of routers like my NETGEAR Nighthawk? Thanks so much and please reply...

I recently had issues with my computer's connectivity in this post. It worked fine for a little while after, but for the past couple of months, I haven't been able to put my computer to sleep as it would disconnect from Ethernet and wouldn't reconnect. I use powerline adapters (Tenda P6 Powerline Adapter), and I've noticed that they turn off when the computer goes to sleep, but even when they don't do so I still have the disconnecting problem. For a bit of time the commands shown in this video helped solve it, but they're not reliably fixing the problem anymore.

Hi there people. I got a Divoom Ditoo Plus speaker last year and it suddenly started having issues. Every time I turn it off and on, it wants me to pair with my phone again. It's like it resets it's Bluetooth settings every time I turn it off. Also, the artworks in the community app can't be applied as the speaker gets stuck in the loading. Does anyone know a way to factory reset this speaker? Thanks.

I’ve been having a problem with my Pc for a while know. Sometimes the internet connection just goes away and even unplugging the LAN and plugging it back in doesn’t help. The Pc shows that there is still a connection but I can’t open websites or anything. I’ve seen some online tutorials where people say you need to deactivate some power saving features but it doesn’t work for me. Does anyone have a solution to this? (Sorry for bad English, I’m German.)

I'm experiencing network issues when using Ethernet on my PC. My regular download speed using a wireless connection hovers around 40 mbps. However, when I plug in Ethernet to my PC, my download speed greatly fluctuates in a negative way. Usually the Ethernet-connected download speed will drop to somewhere around 5-10 mbps, but it can also spike up anywhere to around 900 mbps for brief periods of time. When working correctly, I can get at least 300 mbps download speed- I know this because I'm using college internet and got over 300 mbps consistently last year when living in the same building as I do currently. Also, the Ethernet cable has the blinking yellow light and green light next to it when plugged in, which is what you want if I'm correct from memory, and the speed of the Ethernet cable is 1 gbps in my settings. I do have a VPN installed but haven't used it in months, so I assume that couldn't be the cause either. Here's some of the fixes I've attempted that have done nothing: -Tried all three Ethernet ports in my dorm -Bought a brand new CAT6 Ethernet cable -Made sure Ethernet drivers are fully updated -Unplugged and plugged back in Ethernet cable numerous times -Scanned PC for malware and no malware was present -Fully updated all pending Windows updates I've tried a few other minor things as well but can't remember all of them. Any advice on what to do to help resolve this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello "Long time listener, first time caller" I have, as probably everyone else watching LTT, build a home rack with my coumputer, NAS and a Ubiquiti UDM-Pro. I'm a enthusiast trying to learn and become better with networking, some pentest and IT security. The system and the network worked perfectly for the last six months. I'm really happy over UDM and its possibilities. Couple of weeks ago I had a power outage at home, lasted approx 20sek. Everything started/booted up again, no problems......except for my UDM. I have tot 4 LAN networks and 3 WiFi network attached to the networks. NETWORK: Zytronix_MAIN: 192.168.0.1/24 (also GW) Zytronix_IoT: 192.168.1.1/24 Zytronix_Guest: 192.168.2.1/24 (disabled) Zytronix_Wifi: 192.168.3.1/24 WIFI: Zytronix --> Zytronix_Wifi Zytronix_IoT --> Zytronix_IoT Not_your_home --> Zytronix_GUEST (Disabled) Unifi OS UDM Pro 1.10.4 UDM IP: 192.168.0.1/24 The Udm has internet connection, can perform a speed test and all of my Wifi network/units has internet connection. So I can browse the web with my wifi network. All of my wired units, directly to the Udm on the Zytronix_MAIN network, they cannot browse the web. My computer are connected to the network, I can access my NAS and UDM locally. My UDM discovers/Identifies my wired units and DHCP gives them an IP. No problem, yet no internet access. The issue is my Zytronix_MAIN. Previously my Zytronix wifi was attached to the MAIN network and I had the same issue as my wired units. So created a new vlan network, the Zytronix_Wifi and attached the wifi to it...and then I had internet access on my wifi. Don't know why, but that worked.... I have firewall rules blocking IoT access to the MAIN network, but not vice versa. That's the only firewall rule I have, every other rules came with the configuration. I use Unifi threat manager, works flawlessly so far and it has blocked a lot of intrusion and sniffing attacks. So I don't know what's the issue, everything should work. For the last 2 weeks I have tried to troubleshoot this on my own. Yes, I have checked the latest firmware, tried to reboot UDM and the computer. I haven't preformed a factory reset, mainly because I want to learn, how and why this occurred. Sooo......help, please?

I have an Asus RT-AX86U (zaku II ver) that is brand new but we can't get it to recognize an internet connection when it's plugged straight into the network cable. Yet when the old RT-AC3200 is plugged into the network cable it does get a connection and the 86U can find a connection if it goes through the 3200. Our current setup for the network is the ISP line runs to an ONT that sends out a cable to an outlet we connect to directly with an Ethernet cable. The Ethernet cable then gets plugged directly into the 3200 and everything works. So what am I missing here that the setup with the 3200 doesn't work with the 86U? Is there a since removed setting the older router has that the new one doesn't? Asus support has not been helpful (have you changed the cable? have you restarted the router?...... have you changed the cable?), and the local ISP tech can't figure it out over the phone. Helpful table I found to compare the two routers, https://productz.com/en/asus-rt-ac3200-vs-asus-rt-ac86u/v/nLZKw-B3pQ6 Any and all ideas on how to fix this (or recommendations on a new router that will work) are welcome.

Hey all, I recently moved to a new apartment that has ethernet jacks built in to the unit. I am not too familiar with these as the previous places I have lived have been too old to have them. To my understanding, as long as there are ethernet wires connecting my router to my PC, I should get a wired connection. The first time setting it up, I had a successful connection and was getting my advertised speeds of 400 Mbps. Great, problem solved? Nope, after a little gaming session on my wired connection I shut down my PC. The next day I booted up my PC and was greeted with no wired connection. Running the windows troubleshooting tool prompted a "connect an ethernet cable" solution. I double checked all my cables and restarted my router modem and PC and it solved the issue. I then shut my PC down and tried again a few hours later and was prompted with the same no connection. I attempted to troubleshoot to see if it was my PC but after connecting a long ethernet cord directly from the router to PC, it worked fine. I am asking to see what recommendations anyone has for assistance with this issue. I have attached a couple of pictures and a poorly drawn diagram made in MS Paint. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Note: I know this is the correct "bridged connection" in the "junction box" as this was the connection the couple of times it did work. Hello there, so my ethernet driver stopped working couple of days ago. If I look into network connections there's no ethernet connection available. Driver shows a triangle symbol with an exclamation mark. Couple of days ago there was a heavy storm with several lightning strikes of which one hit near my house. I've got a cable/landline internet. What I've tried and tested so far - Ethernet cable does work with laptop, so there's a connection and there shouldn't be any problem with either cable or connection itself. I tried resetting network adapters/ all network settings - didn't help. I tried uninstalling the driver or updating it - didn't help. There is an error - look at the screenshot. I tried contacting the house technician and internet company and they said everything should be alright (I suppose the problem might be with computer and the lighting strike which struck near my place, I had a power outage for several minutes) I tried reinstalling computer - sadly didn't help. The only hope is now that there's some kind of problem I can solve by setting something up differently, otherwise the only thing left might be a problem with motherboard itself. Some more details - Motherboard - Asus Rog Strix Z370 Gaming-I Internet - Landline up to 800mbit working with same ethernet cable on laptop Ethernet Driver - Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V I am helpless, please help me find a solution.
