Hi, I currently have 2 Phillips 279M1RV 4k 144Hz monitors connected to my computer(750 Watt PSU, both plugged in to my RTX 3080 graphics card tested with both HDMI and displayport cables which were supplied in the box). For a while now I have been having connectivity issues with my screens, more specifically in these situations: when I start a graphical intensive program(f.e. an emulator), upon attempting to click on my screen, it goes black for about 4 seconds and turns on again, doing this repeatably when attempting to click my screen. however, this only happens when there is f.e. also a video playing on the same screen, when I move the video to one screen and the emulator on the other, the issue stops sometimes when starting a game my screen goes full black, not being able to turn on, even when I unplug and plug my hdmi cord it still stays black. Any idea what could be causing this and how it could be fixed? thanks in advance

Hey everyone, I've been dealing with a puzzling issue with my modem since the start of July. It's been randomly restarting, causing my internet connection to drop. The twist here is that this only seems to happen when my PC is connected via ethernet. When I switch off the ethernet device or pull the plug on the cable, and then connect using Wi-Fi, everything runs smoothly. I've tried to troubleshoot this myself - searched all over the web, even sprung for a new ethernet cable, but no luck. The problem still persists. I've also been in touch with my ISP, asking for an upgrade since my current modem (a ZTE F612W from Telecom Egypt) is pretty old (late 2018 model). They're going to send a technician over to install a newer one, but that's yet to happen. In the meantime, I'm really hoping someone here might have some insights. Has anyone encountered something like this before? Any ideas about what could be causing this issue? On a side note, my PC is running on the latest version of Windows 11. Today I installed this one on my pc. The adapter itself works totally fine. Ive noticed that everyone else lost connection. Restarting my Router (Speedport Smart 4) didnt help). Only when I disconnected the device from my pc and restarted my router, everything started to work normally again. I dont know what to do or how to fix. Help pls

Hey everyone. I have a Google Pixel 5 and over the past 5 days or so, I've been having connection issues. It started with painfully slow data speeds no matter where I am (sub-1mbps) on a no-slow-down unlimited plan, and it hasn't gotten better. Then today, my wifi connection and data connection both shut off at the same time, couldn't even find wifi networks. I restarted and it fixed it. Is there something up with my phone? Should I be worried? Thank y'all!

So I'm renting a room and the apartament also has a router with internet access, since the wall plugs didn't have lan connections in them, I bought a wifi card (COMFAST CF-WP1750 1750Mbps). I plugged it into my desktop and was amazed by the fast speeds of glass fibre internet and this presumably high speed wifi card. Suddenly without me doing anything i lost connection, then it connected again, worked for a while, then lost connection again. I investigated, reinstalled the drivers, used windows default drivers, plugged in and out, re-attached the antennas, tried putting a lan plug in the wall, but it still isn't working and i can't really investigate why because I don't have the network testing tools, neither have access to the router interface, since it's locked for anyone other than the apartament owner. I noticed the connection did something like this (notice the periodically appearing losses of connection): Pinging the router showed the same results, whereas in i.e. 10 pings, 9 of them were at a latency of 1ms and the 10th was at latencies near to 1000ms, this is extremly annoying when playing games and listening to online lectures. Sometimes it doesn't detect the 5GHz variant of the connection despite seeing many other 5GHz connections from other apartaments. The automatic energy saving mode on the wifi card is also turned off since I already saw many other forums on similar problems like this. Today for example in the night i sat to like 3 AM in the night and i had no problems at all with the connection and when I woke up today and wanted to turn on my online lecture it started cutting off all the time and it's persisting while i am writing this post. Could someone give me a clue on what is happening here and how i could possibly fix it? EDIT: I also noticed that when another person in the apartament in the room besides mine opens or closes the door, the connection seems to cut off (wierd, right??)

So couple minutes ago I got this situation where the internet is normal for a bit but then suddenly the speed drops down till it reaches 0 so nothing loads for a while, even tho on the taskbar icon it says I still have internet, then it comes back up for a bit then the same happens, any idea on why this could be happening? thank you in advance, any info you need to try to help me just ask I'm using windows 10, 5Ghz wifi and my router is the "xiaomi mi router 4a gigabit edition"

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble with my internet connection and router, and I'm starting to get desperate. My router randomly disconnects and then reconnects, both wired and wireless. I have a router modem downstairs from the ISP, and my own Asus router upstairs functioning as a switch for multiple wired devices and as a wireless network, since the WiFi the router modem provides has a very poor range. I used to have an incredibly crappy ISP, and since I switched to another the speed and bandwidth have improved dramatically, but the stability not so much. It does seem to be my router's fault though, not the ISP or the router modem, since I have no random disconnects when I directly plug my PC into the router modem. When the disconnects happen, all the activity lights and the WiFi light turn off, but the power and WAN lights remain on. After a couple of seconds (maybe 10-20 seconds) everything turns back on. The router I use is an Asus RT-N16 with up-to-date firmware. I don't know much about networking, but I tried a couple of things in an attempt to fix it: - Using a simple network switch instead of the router - Factory resetting the router - Messing around with DHCP settings - Messing around with Automatic IP/Static IP settings - Enabling/Disabling DNS - Enabling/Disabling DDNS - Disabling Guests Network - Switching the router to Access Point mode - Switching the router to Repeater mode - Combinations of the above - Checked the temperature of the router to see if it was overheating, but it was warm to the touch. Nowhere near hot. Nothing worked unfortunately, but I did notice a slight change in the pattern or the duration of the disconnects every time I changed something. Just in case, here is a list of devices connected to the router: - Desktop PC running Win 10 (wired) - WD TV Live media player (wired) - Xbox One first gen (wired) - Laptop running Win 10 (wifi) - iPad Air 1 (wifi) - iPhone 5 (wifi) - Wii first gen (wifi) - Chromecast (wifi) - Occasional friend's laptop/phone/tablet (wifi) I'm starting to think my router might just be dying, but since the simple switch was showing the same issues, it might also be some setting or IP conflict or something like that. Discord has been giving me issues where, randomly, inconsistently, yet horribly irritating I disconnect from what ever voice connection I have. This error JUST popped up after 4/5 months of issues. This is after factory resetting and updating all firmware for the components of my PC. This doesn't just affect discord. It also affects multiple games but they are random... Like COD MW i just cant load in. Rainbow 6 Siege fine. TF2 fine. LoL I get punished for not seeing the ready up que. Valorant is hit or miss. Among Us I get RANDOMLY disconnected but only when the round starts. I don't know what to do and it just sucks. I'm happy I found this error window but it still doesn't explain how/why it affects other games. If anyone knows anything please... I just wanna play games with my friends again I've looked up the errors but all I are solutions for programs other than discord..

I've Started to play csgo quite frequently. but now I haven't played it as much out of frustration. My game would randomly disconnect. I know this is now an error with csgo because it also happens on my xbox and chrome. the weird thing is that it reconnects after around 5 seconds. Im using a netgear router and an arris modem. I dont have much knowledge with this type of stuff so please help and explain whats happening.
