A half year ago I had some problems with windows that kept showing blue screens and keep crashing. At a moment my computer won't boot at all, so I tried to flash my bios cleard the smos. I tried to boot but it din't work. I decided to contact asus about it and they said to me that I have to rma my motherboard. when I got my motherboard back from asus i installed everything and boot the computer. everything worked as it should, but now i've been experiencing some slow loading texturtes in games, especually in Fortnite. I hope that there is someone that can help me with my problem. I have a i5-3570s with 12 GB RAM. GT 710 Graphics card with 2GB VRAM. Just Recently my computer has gone crazy. When I boot up it brings up an error screen that windows can't find the path to the drive. I then hit the escape key and it sends me to the BIOS settings in which I hit escape again and then it will send me to Windows to boot. So I tried to Troubleshoot it by doing a clean install of windows, formatting all the drives, running on my main drive where windows is loaded(it won't even see this drive as bootable without my HDD), and clearing CMOS. Does anyone have answers???!!!!

I built my own PC about a year ago, it functions perfectly the majority of the time however it will randomly freeze once every few weeks. It will happen when I am browsing the web or gaming. The screen will freeze and the mouse will not move, the sound will also freeze. I will have to press the reset button then my computer will reboot and work fine. I update the system regularly using the MSI live update 6. I have tried running sfc/scannow in cmd, but the results were: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Let me know any other information that would be helpful or any suggestions that I should try. I have a gtx 1080 and a z270 a pro mother board and the gpu debug light is turning on and then turning off when I turn on the computer and right after it(the debug light) turns off the screen turns black.

I am not a big computer guy and know almost the bare minimum about my computer, but recently I run into an issue when turning my computer on. I haven’t been able to find any other topics about this issue but if there is one it would be amazing if someone could just point me in the right direction. Anyway the issue I’m having is when I turn on my computer it gets stuck on a black screen for longer than it ever had before and then moves onto the boot screen where it says Pro Series MSi in big letters and at the bottom of the screen says <del> to rub BIOS setup , or <f11> to run boot menu. I have no clue what this screen is called or means but usually it comes up when I turn on my computer but recently it has been getting stuck on this screen for an extended period of time much longer than usual and sometimes going back to another black screen. I have tried going into automatic repair mode like other threads have recommended but then that screen is black too and all I can see is my curser. Again I restate I am not a techy guy and know very little so sorry for my drawn out descriptions I’m just trying to make it clear as possible the issue. If anyone has any clue what is going on or how to fix it that would be greatly appreciated. To be honest I don’t even know if I’m posting this in the right section I’ve always liked Linus’ videos but never came to his forum and just made an account. P.S. I’m typing this on my phone for obvious reasons and apologies for any spelling or grammatical mistakes. Computer specs: It was a rebuild by ibuypower and the only thing I added was an nvme ssd but I doubt that’s part of the problem as it has been installed since early December graphics card: GTX 1080 cpu: i7 7700k water cooled by Corsair cooler but don’t know the model motherboard: I’m not to sure all I know is it is MSI Pro Series storage: 1 TB hard drive 240 gb ssd 500gb nvme ssd sry for rushy post any help would be amazing. Actually while writing this I had my computer just stuck on the msi Pro series screen and it eventually turned off by its own idk if that’s relevant, and if needed I could post pictures.

I got my first desktop recently and I was really excited, but one day I was raging a little to hard at a game, and my desk was hitting the wall plug for my computer(I had a desk with wheels at the time) and I started to see sparks coming from the outlet. Next thing I know my computer froze, and the first thing I did was unplug it, but when I tried to turn it back on It wouldn’t power on. Eventually It did. My guess is whatever happened somewhat shorted my computer. It still runs perfectly normal except for maybe a stutter every hour or so but that’s it. The only issue is it doesn’t turn on when I hit the power button. To get it to turn on I have to flip the psu off press the power button a lot and then try to turn it on(sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t). I was wondering if anybody could explain what happened, or possibly tell me a way I can fix this (if it’s even repairable). ps. Thank you for those who read this obnoxiously long paragraph I just couldn’t find a way to explain this without telling the full story because I tried to search it on google but even google couldn’t help because of how little I know about what even happened.

Ever since the death of my Radeon RX 460 and the entrance of my GEFORCE GTX 1050ti, a select few of my games after ~5 minutes of gameplay started freezing. But, they froze in a weird way that I cant fix or understand. The screen will act normal, but then out of nowhere the screen will stop moving and be stuck on a single frame of the game. The most confusing part is that the game continues to play (I can hear from the audio). For example, in CounterStrike:GlobalOffensive, the screen will be stuck on a frame in game but I can still hear my player run, jump, and shoot. IT EVEN HAPPENS IN THE MENUS. I've tried what seems to be every option to fix this but nothing has worked. I tried... Resetting my computer (But keeping my important files) Uninstalling and Reinstalling all games and Steam Verifying game files Restarting my PC Running Diagnostic checks Physically tearing down my setup to find a solution Updating/installing drivers I've definitely done more but i cant remember what they all are right now... The games that I have played recently that have this problem include CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) Rocket League Liftoff (An FPV Drone Flight Simulator) The one that surprised me the most was Liftoff as it is no where near what someone would classify a game as "Graphics Intensive" There are however two games I have played/tested that havent crashed (yet...) The Drone Racing League Simulator (Another FPV Drone SIM) CS:S (Counter-Strike: Source) I am so frustrated that I cant find a solution to this and this is my last option. if anyone can help me that would be AMAZING!!!! Hi, I built this PC with my uncle about a year ago (I don't have computer building experience) and have been putting off fixing the issues for some time now. After a year of my PC underperforming, I've pretty much had enough and I was hoping people could teach me how to fix them, here's the list of issues and computer specs: 1) PC fans, power turns on, however, will not boot if Display Port is plugged into the monitors (DVI-D works) 2) Bios reset everytime computer shuts down so when I boost my ram to 3133Mhz it resets back to 2133 and any other settings will reset too 3) The computer is running things way to slow for the specs... So hey Lately I have noticed noticable lag spikes while playing most games my computer specs are as follow: Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Power Supply: Corsair CX 750w Hard Drives: WD Black caviar 7200rpm 2tb Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V Graphics Card: MSI GTX 670 Power Edition 2GB RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz DDR3 CPU: i5 3770K 3.4ghz i have used the fraps frame counter thing and when these spikes occur the frame rate flutters over 70 as usual in battlefield 3 this also happens in minecraft and many other titles and this is fustrating i am reletavily new PC gaming although i did build this pc but any help would be awesome also i think it might be my motherboard but who knows. thanks
