I recently got an LG Ultragear 34GN850-B, things have been fine but recently my computer has been completely shutting down at random. It will try to boot up right after but it won't be successful. When I go to my event viewer it tells me this: The AMDRyzenMasterDriverV20 service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. I'm pretty sure these crashes only started happening after I updated my amd driver. Could it be possible that some combination of the updated driver and my LG monitor is the cause of my computer crashes? I've since switched back to my old Gigabyte monitor and haven't experienced a crash yet, will update if it does crash at some point. Spent a pretty penny on the LG though and would hate to have to stop using it so I'd appreciate any help and suggestions. Computer specs: 5800X3D 6750xt 750w Rosewill PSU 32GB DDR4 ram

I have an alienware 15 R3 and i frequently get a BSOD after the SSD goes to 100% utilization. Here are the specs : CPU : Intel i7 7700 HQ GPU : Nvidia GTX 1070 SSD : M.2 NVME 256 GB RAM : 32 GB 2400 MHz I have updated all my drivers but i still get the BSOD. The computer turns on fine, but after i use it for a while the SSD goes to 100% utilization and the CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED BSOD comes The percentage of the BSOD also does not go above 0% and i have to force shutdown it.

Hi, ive been reading alot of other threads and didnt find anything helpful. So...I built a new PC for around a month ago, with good specs.Gtx 1070 ryzen 5 26002x 8gb ddr4 3200mhz250 gb ssd samsungKraken x62Asus Prime B450-plusCorsair vs450 450watt (NZXT H500i) if anyine were intrested. So the problem started yesterday when i came home from a vacation, i started playing some fortnite, then the sudden happend that the game crashed. I didnt think much of it just started it again. And it crashed again. I got mad and started playing Apex Legends. Then that crashed aswell. And it just kept going. After some crashes later my computer also started crash with a blue screen, i think we are all known of it. This wasnt anything new but it started doing it a lot and often. I started searching around the web and did everything people said would help. Nothing helped... I though it was some problems with those games so i tried a game of league of legends. It worked perfect the whole game and i didnt play anymore. I also tried Far Cry 5 and it worked for around a 1h as the other games and then it crashed. The only thing i know is that Apex, Fortnite and far cry has in common is that they all use something called EasyAntiCheat. I though for a sec that this Easyac Was the problem, but it didnt seem so trustworthy. Im in huge need of help. And i will respond as fast as i can to all your quietsions if needed. (Sry for bad english tho.)

Hey all first time posting sorry for any mistakes or missed info. The issue I have ran into is that for the past 4 months my computer will black screen randomly while gaming this does not appear to be a system crash because I can still hear and talk through discord. Further explanation of these crashes will be described below specs. Win 10 64bit Ver. 1904 Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi, Bios-F51e Ryzen 5 3600x (OC to 4GHz, but problem occurs at base 3.6GHz) G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 MSI Armor MK2 Radeon RX 580 8 GB (Not OC, happened with OC too) Samsung 860 Evo 500GB boot drive, plus 2x2TB Storage drives EVGA G2 650 (650W Gold+) So like I said at the top of the post over the course of this year I have ran into a reoccurring and very random crash to a black screen while gaming along with the gpu fan speed ramping up to 100% immediately after the crash being the only other symptom forcing me to shutdown the machine manually. This crash appears, to me, to have no real indicator as to the cause of the crash as this problem as happened over several driver updates, games, OS versions, and even resolutions/refresh rates. This also happens at random points while gaming as well as I have experienced the crash in various menus, standing still looking at a wall, during loading screens post mission, and even during a stress test at various points using Unigine Superposition. And the crash does not occur at the same point in time as some days I will not see the crash and game all day while some nights I will crash 3 times within 30 min. Live event viewer isn't giving any noticeable errors and the system takes minutes to start after forcing the machine to power down. The list of games the crash happened in is as follows: Insurgency Sandstorm, Warframe, NFS Heat, Monster Hunter World, Rainbow Six Siege, MGS 5, Borderlands 3, and possibly more but these are the games I've played recently. And since I think it is worth mentioning again this only appears to affect the GPU as the system still runs behind the black screen as I can still talk with people in discord. Below is the list of things I have done to "fix" the problem Update/reinstall graphics drivers with DDU Update OS to current version Updated BIOS Check temperature, card never goes above 77 C Change 8-pin cable and connector on psu Disconnect 2nd monitor Changed HDMI cable and slot on GPU Cap FPS at 60, and lower graphics settings in game to low So at this point I am at a loss as to what to do. The system isn't even 2 years old and I planned on upgrading the GPU later this year when the next generation of GPU's drop. I am unwilling to buy anything new of the current gen this close to a suspected new launch and don't have access to a different GPU either. If there is any requests for further info or anything I notice I will add but I appreciate anyone's help in advance.

From what I know, when your computer crashes, it brings you to the BSOD and tells you an approximate error of what happened. However this crash was quite different.. I was launching a quite demanding game and before I loaded into the main menu of the game, suddenly my three monitors went grey and a had some artifacting on the middle monitor for a split second and then went away. It then just stayed like that until I restarted my computer. This only happened once though, so it may have just been a software slip up, but I just want to know what you guys think on the forums of what you could have thought of what happened. I may just be a bit over cautious, but could it be a video card error? I will keep this thread updated if this error happens again. Here Are my Desktop Specs: i7 8700K, watercooled - 4.9GHZ, tested thoroughly beforehand stable GTX 1080 ASUS Strix - No OC 16GB Ram Gigabyte gaming 5 mobo 800W Bronze rated PSU 3x 1080p monitors with Nvidia surround

Hello, I have some issues with my fairly new pc. Occasionally whilst playing a game, my game freezes, but everything else still responds. However I can literally do nothing, because my frozen game overlaps evrything except for my hotbar. I can start new programs but I can’t see them because my screen overlaps. I can also not shut down my game, so I am forced to restart my computer. This only occurs with games. When the freeze happens I can still hear everything from the game and I can still shoot. I don’t know if this has anything to do with this but sometimes when my processor is at 100% my mouse isn”t smooth anymore and it stutters. I have already tried multiple things: - cleanig my hardware with a compressed aircan. -scanning for failures -cleaning my ssd and hdd with multiole tools, like ccleaner. -reinstalling all my drivers -performing temperature tests -replacing my ram in different slots my specs are: gtx1060 6gb from MSI intel i5 7500 8gb ram ballistix sport ddr4 2400 stock cooler asrock b250m performance phanteks p400 tempered glass (I thought maybe the tempered glass can play a role with airflow problems? At this stage anything might olay a role... cooler master 500w psu one ssd 250gb from sandisk one hdd wd blue 1tb (installed 2 days ago)

Hello, I am having a frustrating problem with my computer for a long time now. Some websites I open (which I think are mainly flash) freeze my computer for good no matter how long I wait. Playing games does not affect pc in that matter. The websites I can think of are (no links so it wont freeze again) - Fifa ultimate team web app - Bet365 a casino app window - and some other but I mostly visit Facebook, Google and Youtube (neither of which freeze) I was happening on Win 8, 8.1 and now in 10. I tried cleaning my PC, so every thing out and in again assuring good connections. Today I tried Ubuntu live CD (usb) and it froze again. On windows and Linux I tried Chrome and Firefox the same thing Could you please help me? It is so frustrating not knowing when it will freeze and destroy my work I may be working on. Thank you in advance ! Haris

hello to all who read this, i have a problem and it is really annoying, my computer keeps crashing and any audio gets looped by a split second. hard to explain what it sounds like but it kinda sounds like an error sound playing over and over every split second, (it does this with any audio that is playing. to fix it i have to hard restart my computer by pressing the button on the case at first i thought it was ram, not having enough when i needed it (because the problem seemed to happen more often when it was taking a bit of a load like video games and allot of tabs in the browser. but i have gotten an upgrade (a needed one) and now ive got 12gigs of ram, so that cant be the issue. im almost %100 sure its the graphics card drivers as sometimes when im playing games or even not playing games it will say somthing along the lines of "windows display driver has stopped working and recovered" and it will do this maybe 2 times before a computer crash. ive also noticed the issue dulled down on a later driver so maybe it just has bad driver support. it may be my hard drive because when i purchased the computer i used an older hard drive to save money, so idk it is very annoying and id really like some help with this. my specs. AMD A8-7600 radion r7 12gb ram 64 bit evga gtx 750ti ftw - gpu if you need more info i can tell you just please help me, i cant think of much more to do

Trying to sort out an issue for a friend, he's running an AMD FX-8350 and a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X edition on Windows 8.1 (Corsair 600w PSU, SSD, Asus m5a78l-m and generic 1333Mhz RAM from old PC) After sorting out a seating issue with the CPU causing the computer to not display anything, we have now come across a problem where the computer will restart randomly. After running memtest, monitoring CPU temperatures, re-installing windows multiple times, running check disks and a plethora of other tests, it appears the cause is related to a GPU issue. When the latest AMD drivers are not installed, the computer appears stable, running for an hour without a restart (most restarts occur within 10 minutes of boot) However, once AMD drivers are installed, the computer will restart. (Also tried latest beta driers from AMD) There have been a few blue screens, all seem to be related to "ntoskrnl.exe" (Crash list created by BlueScreenView are linked HERE and HERE) Wondering if anyone has any ideas? Is the issue clearly a GPU issue and needs to be RMA'd? Is the issue related to Windows 8.1 compatibility issues? Or is it something less obvious (PSU, motherboard, CPU?) Would love some help on this, we've been trying to troubleshoot this for a good 24 hours

Hey guys, my parents have a somewhat old dell computer that I recently put a crucial mx100 into and reinstalled the operating system on it. I used the original Hitachi 500GB drive for storage. It has 8GB of RAM, a Intel i7 860 1st-gen processor, and a dell motherboard (not sure which one). The model is a Dell Studio XPS 8000. I think it's about 5 years old?? Anyways, I'm having problems where the computer will completely freeze up, I'll get a white, line-filled, screen, sudden shutdowns, etc. It seems like it could be a blown motherboard capacitor, but I don't see one. The computer was freezing up before I reinstalled, so I do not think it is a corrupted install. Any suggestions/advice?

Both of the crashes were while i was gaming. My monitor simply lost signal, my headset was buzzing (pretty loudly), and my computer was still (on), lights and fans and everything still going. Had do hold down the power button to shut it off, restarted, choose "start windows normally", and everything is fine, execpt for when it crashed again. The first crash was while I was playing Orcs Must Die 2, the second crash was while I was playing Alan Wake. After the first crash i reset my processor back to stock speeds (i had overclocked it recently, ran prime95 for hours to test it), after the second crash I took off the memory overclock on my GPU (MSI Afterburner), and then I decided to post in the forum, so here I am. If anyone knows what this might be or what I can do to fix it, please help me out. Nothing is damaged as far as I can tell, so i am not very worried, but it sure is annoying when I have to reboot in the middle of a game. MSI GTX 660 Ti PE/OC , Up to date drivers 8gb 1600mhz ram i5 3570k stock speeds for now (was running at 4.0 ghz) both games were running off of steam Hopefully i gave enough information, thanks to anybody who can help out.

It had happend 3 times over 5-6 months, all 3 times were while I was gaming. Nothing appears on my screen, no pop-ups. error messages, or anything, my computer just completely shuts off, lights, fans, all of that stuff, and turns back on after about 5 seconds (I don't press the power button, it does it by itself) All I do is "start windows normally" and everything is back to normal. could this be a power supply issue? I have an HX850 with an i5 3570k and a GTX 660 Ti, so I know it has more than enough watts.

Hey guys! The other day I was playing Black Ops 2, and I realized that my FPS were droping alot! (I usualy have 74 and I had 30) I checked out the Control Panel and it said that my CPU was running at 100%. I got scared it would overheat and turned off the computer. Now it doesn't start. The CPU cooler works, the graphics card fan works, the front leds work, the hard drive is running... What happened and how do I fix it? Computer specs: Intel i3 Quad Core; Nvidia 9800GTX; Asus PH755-M; Western Digital 1TB Caviar Green; 6GB Kingston RAM; FSP Raider 550W; Thank you!
