Hello, what gpu do you think i should buy? Budget (including currency): 28k BDT (300$ USD) Country: Bangladesg Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming + Normal Other details : Looking for a fast IPS panel of 144hz+ that would possibly have a nice display as well. (Note: AOC, Acer Nitro are not available) And after dollar to BDT conversion, our taxes add some more to the pricing. So 250$ monitor is 310$ here. Anyway so ASUS TUF VG259QR popped up a while ago in Asus Website. This is an update to the previous VG259Q with a 165hz oc panel instead of 144hz. The only other choice I had beside VG259Q, was the Benq Mobiuz EX2510. But since the Benq is only recently available in our market, it costs almost 400$ USD (35K BDT). So, my only option was VG259Q, having a faster AUO panel than the panda panel in VG249Q. But I'm not sure if VG259QR also has the same AUO panel? or even faster/better? But the updated model has 300 nits brightness but VG259Q had 400 nits? So I guess its a different panel? No youtube videos on this yet IDK why. Not even proper reddit discussion. But one of the importers here told me they can get me a VG259QR at a cheaper price than the VG259Q (price in tech markets) even. Im hanging on this. Mobiuz price is not going to drop until it's hype is gone. Gonna take more than 2 months.

I recently got a new GPU and Ive been having issues with my pc that I feel like can be attributed to like a single setting or hardware issue but I cannot find it. I Mostly play Overwatch and most of the issues revolve around it: I get 200-240 FPS average and a 1% low of 5-ish frames and a 0.1% low of 2 fps. Games crash, disk goes to 100% randomly, downloading games on gigabit internet and a brand new ssd takes very very long: sitting on 1 kb/s on 0% network usage, and crashes on absolutely everything. No real overclocking, everything is up to date except bios, and temps are normal. System wasnt always perfect im not confident its the GPU. Most of the parts are several years old. Advisory: I have no credibility nor full knowledge of what's behind the scenes in the full spectrum scale. Yet I see so many issues that are not/ only now are being addressed at all. CS:GO - (This will be my main focus, I plan on properly writing an essay/article about my thoughts but since I have never done anything like this and I am too ignorant to learn on my own, I am hoping for your constructive input.) As it has been highly discussed, these bans issued to the iBuyPower players seem rather unfair. Not for what they did but because there were no countermeasures at the time of the event. And when it started getting exposed Valve took a hammer and put them down to create an example to the rest of the players, instead of properly addressing it in a collective manner, leaving them blinded for a year with no hopes of getting their careers back. This is a two sided story as it creates controversy regarding their actions named stealing, robbing and essentially committing legal crimes. Although I cannot dispute these statements I can say that Valve had no right to ban them simply for the greater good of the future of competitive CS if not eSports as a whole. They should have been punished themselves as they did not think this could happen, or if they did they simply chose to ignore it. Valve should have contacted some sort of legal advisor to set ground rules on match fixing. Even though it is obvious it is bannable, it wasn’t stated in the rules of the tournament they were involved in. eSports in general using the CS scene - But enough of match-fixing scandals, on the something more productive. I have really enjoyed watching D!ngIT Weekly Cups with $200 up for grabs by tier 2-3 teams as well as Acer Predator Masters, Uprise Champions and Operation Kinguin. These are some of the events that deserve to be watched regularly by us and that should be the main focus. Instead of the exhaustive top tier teams constantly fighting in, more than too often honestly, tourneys that become less and less interesting as the amount increases. Leaving the teams with not enough time to practice as much and us getting tired and losing that special interest we had in watching our favourite team fight for that special spotlight. With this last rather confusing paragraph, what I’m trying to get across is that there is very little exposure for the smaller teams and even the tier 2. After a decade in eSports, each major game (LoL, SC2 and CS:GO) should be able to support each team monetarily not in prizes but in sponsors. The top tier teams shouldn’t have to compete for $5000 dollars every other week to be able to generate enough revenue to have a house and food after retiring. eSports only become a feasible option when you are able to retire and either find another job on the area that you have studied for while you were doing it part-time, or if you fully committed you must have enough money to walk it off for at least a couple of years after. Conclusion - These issues are a rather painful thing to sort out but it would be an ideal reality. There are sponsors and investors willing to put money down for this, mainly because there are numbers to back these ideas up. Now I realize this last bit became quite a cluster of ideas and it became rather hard to understand. Again, I’m hoping for input from you guys to help me understand the scene better and hopefully spread the word and help the players and the aspiring ones. TL:DR I don’t think the iBuyPower shouldhave been banned because Valve didn’t have any rules against it at the time of the happening and they should be punished by not being allowed to do so. CS:GO pros need to be top tier in order to have CS as a main focus of income and career and need to play too many tournaments in order to have enough to retire and not have to work for some years. This issue should be addressed by having more money down by sponsors and there should be also higher pay and more room for smaller tier teams (2-3).

Hello! i'm upgradeing my gpu for better perfomance, but i cant choose between amd/nvidia. my goal is to play competitive games at stable fps (180-200fps with 165hz) i have a ryzen 5 3600 cpu which got some overclock. and i have an rx 570 gpu which is not the best nowdays... my question is, i saw a million videos about 3070 and 6750 xt and i dont know what is good for me. Yeah i will have a little bottleneck at 1080p, but i want it to be future proof. At fortnite they say amd is very buggy and have a lot fps drops etc., while at valorant amd is performing better. Do anybody have experience with any of them? (sorry for my english :X)

So I'd like some advice about which monitor to pick, I assembled parts for a new gaming rig for my friend and still need to choose a good "gaming" monitor. There are three choices, they cost around the same and assume that there are no other monitors in the world All are 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution and they're 24" TN. 1. LG 24GM77-B (My favorite, I'd choose this one but I need to be sure it's the right choice cause my friend is a competitive CS:GO player) 2. BenQ ZOWIE XL2411 3. Acer Predator GN246HLBbid Which would be the best for competitive FPS gaming and why? FYI his soon-to-be specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R5 1600 (I'll OC it) MOBO: MSI B350 TOMAHAWK RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED 16GB 3000MHz GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X PSU: XFX Pro 650W Core Edition Case: Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 5 + 2x Corsair AF140 LED Quiet Edition Those are final specs and I don't need recommendations on those, prices are all over the place (especially GPU ones) here in Poland and I picked the best parts based on value as the budget is already at its absolute limit. Thanks for all your help

Should I sell my Razer DeathAdder Chroma for a Zowie EC2-A?
datboi7321 posted a topic in Peripherals
Hey LTT forum! I play CS:GO VERY competitively, and right now my mouse is the Razer DeathAdder Chroma, it is a great mouse and all, but as some of you may know, the mouse most used by competitive CS:GO eSports players is the Zowie EC2-A, it has an amazing sensor, and one of my friends has one, after I tried it out, I LOVED IT! So should I sell my Razer DeathAdder Chroma to get the Zowie or not? -
Hello, I am currently level 98 and my SR is 1629 (silver). I have been climbing from 1200 but its difficult with Solo Ques. I main Pharah and can play Roadhog, Junkrat or Ana if needed. I am looking for a team to play some comp with, but I mainly play on weekends because school takes up a lot of my time during the week. I play on the NA servers and do have a mic to communicate with my team. If you are interested in joining me for some competitive play then you can add me on battle net, im HafALifeLeft#1552 but if you do add me comment below your username and the characters you main so I know it is you and so I can plan a good team composition. Thanks in advance to anyone that would like to join me in comp.

Hello, I am looking to upgrade my mouse but I don't really know what is best. I am currently looking at these mice, The Logitech G Pro, G.SKILL RIPJAWS MX780, Razer Mamba TE, DeathAdder Chroma, and the SteelSeries Rival 300. I mainly play overwatch with a claw grip, and I prefer a light mouse. Which of these would suit overwatch the best? and are there any suggestions that I haven't seen? Thanks in advance for suggestions.

So apparently Minecraft PvP (player versus player) will be competitive in 2017. A Minecraft server called Badlion has been working together with ESL since last December. Quote: Badlion has always been a community-focused platform with a commitment to providing the best competitive Minecraft experience, even since the early days when the server had a very small population. Archy and myself both come from competitive gaming backgrounds and as Badlion has grown, so have our ambitions for this game and its community. The past few months have been extremely hectic for us from a management and development perspective. We have been working very closely with ESL's office in the US and internationally for the past few months as we originally talked about here: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/129479. We have now finalized our combined future roadmap together and are super excited to share that future today with the Minecraft community. Since the start of this initial partnership, our team has been hard at work creating the next level of competitive Minecraft gaming. It is my pleasure to reveal all the hardwork and dedication the Badlion team has been focused on, we are sorry it has felt slow recently but we have been focused on some BIG things. We have spent the past 8 months planning and building something new for Badlion and Minecraft. So, what is this new Badlion/Minecraft product? For those of you who are not familiar with the company, ESL is the largest independent esports company in the world and hosts massive events like Intel Extreme Masters and ESL One, operates Pro Leagues across some of the biggest titles including Counter-Strike, Halo, and others, and hosts online tournaments across dozens of games a year on ESL Play and using their automated game and recently Xbox and PlayStation integrations. Turtle Entertainment Online is the subsidiary company of ESL that we are working with and operate another product similar to Badlion called ESEA. ESEA is a premium service for Counter Strike: Global Offensive that strives to provide a cheat free environment, premium matchmaking services, as well as competitive leagues for all skill levels in CS:GO. The league is similar to the soccer leagues that exist in the UK with many divisions and teams who participate. We are looking to bring a similar service to Minecraft. Hi so about a month ago I got my new computer and started getting really into games like CSGO and Rainbow6 and my friends were talking for a while about trying to set up an Esports team in my school and my headphones are not cutting it. I had HyperX cloud Stingers but those had a terrible issue with the mic and i do not trust hyperX anymore and now I am using a 2 year old one that is not that comfortable. A pair i was recommended was the Corsair Void Pro's and the HyperX cloud Pro/Core. I have over 40 dollars to spend and I do not know what headphones to buy. If you could i would appreciate some advice about pairs I should buy or the ones i have already been recommended. Thank you

I find it really hard to find an arm for my blue yeti (like topic says I live in Sweden). So... Anyone living nordic region and know where I can find this? I guess ebay is my last resort because I don't think the import fee is to much. I also need a pop filter? I don't know what it does but it should be easier to find. I play competitive Overwatch so it's important that my calls are heard when I speak all the time. Atm it's placed about 20 cm away from my mouth on a pullout table from under me.

Hello, im getting tired of my old 60hz monitor and is looking for a new. There is a couple of things i know i want, i want 1080p and at least 144hz and TN panel. Just general things worth noting before discussing hz and g-sync: I have a 1070 and i5 i mainly play competitive games where i can score 200+ fps and sometimes play a demanding game where i get 80-ish frames Hz discussion: is it worth having 240hz rather than 144hz? is the difference noticeable? G-sync discussion: is it worth having g-sync? like i said the games i mainly play i can score more frames than hz. however, i do sometimes play games where i get frames well below the hz of both 144 and especially 240 but some of my friends said they dident have g-sync and never experienced tarring? is g-sync worth the extra money? With all that in mind do you have any suggestions? any suggestion is well appreciated thx for you time and have a nice day.

TL;DR: Looking for teammates for Competitive Overwatch, must have basic game play, character counters, map and strategy knowledge. Also must be willing to play as a team meaning that you'd be willing to swap characters mid game as needed to support a particular situation or as a counter to the other teams lineup, and you're not going to run off and deviate from the objective to chase down kills, also must must must have communication through a mic please Hey There, I'm a big fan of Overwatch and have played as couple hours a day at least since I first started a few weeks ago. All I've played up to this point it Quick Play because I'm worried about going in solo queue to play competitive. I've heard a lot of people say its not worth playing competitive unless you have a team or at least a couple people to play with who you play with often, most times people tell me they've tried it and been matched up with a team who: A) doesn't communicate or doesn't have a mic B) rage and quit (i.e. people spamming chat instead of actually playing, saying how great they are and how much the rest of the team sucks!) C) completely give up after they start losing and become a detriment to the rest of the team. D) has someone who picks their favorite character and just refuses to change off of it even though the other team's lineup requires something different to counter and they're playing the only character which isn't a good match for the lineup (i.e. someone playing Ana even though there's already a Healer and a Sniper on their team and the other team has a Bastion who is camped on the payload just mowing down their team, yet they won't switch to Genji or another counter for a few mins).. So pretty much from what I've heard and what I can imagine from playing a lot of Quick Play is that it seems to me that the only real way to compete is to have some people you know already on the team or risk having bad teams/teammates most the time while waiting for the rare time that you may get a good team of strangers who work together well.. Overwatch is an entirely team-based game so you don't do well when 1 or 2 people on your team play selfishly or just for themselves not focusing on the teamwork or the objectives... Also if you're playing against a 6 person team who all know each other and always plays together and your team is a bunch of people who have never played together before and have no mics or only types out commands it really does impact game play, just communication alone is a massive advantage. I already sometimes get frustrated when people do the above things even in QP, but when your rank is on the line I'm sure it becomes even worse.. So because of this I've decided before I actually play Competitive I'd like to get a few people together who want to play competitive together on a regular basis and who understand basic game play, character counters. map knowledge and strategy in Overwatch. Also just so you know a little about me: - I'm level 63 - Have about 60 hours play time - Avg Eliminations is 10 (take into account my most played character is a support) - Have most experience playing Lucio, Hanzo, McCree, Genji, Junkrat, Reaper and Reinhardt but I'm totally willing to play any character or change into a character that's required for any situation/counter - Mostly play at night PST. usually anytime between 9pm - 4am but I can change my schedule to play in the daytime if most people who respond would like that My BattleTag is: Artemiis#11292.

I'm looking for a mouse that will be comfortable to use for a long period of gaming sessions. It needs to have a good sensor for high-paced competitive FPS and fit my hand size. My hand is 19.5 cm long and 10.4 cm wide.
