Hello I have a werid issue neither msi or corsair can resolve. I have a ryzen 2700x on a asrock b450m steel legend motherboard. I have an 100i rgb platinum se and a commander pro. I also have an ASUS pcie ac22000 wireless/Bluetooth card. The issue i am having is when the wireless card uses the usb 2.0 header and the commander pro is plugged into second header the h100i which is using the primary or secondary header on the commander pro it never shows up in icue. I have tried uninstall complete the icue software several time, (ccleaner uninstall, icue removal tool, manualy deleted folder after the uninstall through control panel). Also tried plugging usb header for wireless into commander pro and same result. Also got corsair to replace the commander pro and same result. I am on the latest bios for asrock board that it supports as i know there were some issues with usb on ryzen boards a little while ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated. also confirmed that if i use a standard micro usb to usb a and plug into back port that it works and if i plug included micro usb from 100i into motherboard it shows up but then when wireless card usb header goes to the commander pro then it doesn't let me use Bluetooth which i need for controllers. I would love to get this fully function as i started gaming with the soon to be wife and this issue is annoying as 2 player games get a little loud since i cannot control the fan speed without disassbly the whole computer and rebuilding everytime.

Hi! I currently own 6 Corsair QL120 fans. I am planning on getting 3 more to complete my build, but I want to make sure that I wont be spending ~$110 and just waist the RGB on them. I only have two internal USB headers on my mobo, one for my AIO, and the other one is being used for the 6 QL120s. To support another 3 fans, I need another USB header for the RGB controller. I bought an internal USB hub on amazon for around $5, but it did not work at all. While troubleshooting it, I found out that I have to turn on power to that specific USB port, otherwise the mobo wont think anything is plugged in. So I spend a good 2 hours attempting to do that, but, I did that thing when you watch too many troubleshooting videos and accidentally prevent yourself from doing what you want to do by turning it on somewhere, and off somewhere else. So, after that fiasco, I realized that it might be better to just get the Commander PRO from Corsair, even though it's 10 times as much. But before I order it, I want to make sure that the hub that the Commander PRO uses does NOT need to be turned on in the BIOS or in windows settings. So if someone is using the internal usb ports on the Commander PRO, WITHOUT turning on power to them, would you let me know? If that wont work, would something like this work? It's an internal USB to USB cable. I could use it to connect the new lighting controller on the Ql120s to an external USB port on the mobo. (And if it will work, I would prefer to use it as it is 7 times less expensive ) My system is: Ryzen 5 3600 Asus LC240 White Asus B550-A Gaming 16GB Corsair RAM + Corsair dummy RAM (for more RGB) 256GB M.2 2TB HDD RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition (mounted vertical) Lian Li O11 MINI-W 6 Corsair Ql120 Seasonic SGX650 Thank you for any help/suggestions given, and sorry if this is a little confusing. I recently bought H100i platinum SE and it came with 2 LL120 fans. Since I had a commander pro in hand, I connected both fan power and rgb power cable of 2 LL fans to the commander pro. Am I suppose to connect included fans to the aio fan headers? Should I make changes or am I good?

Hello everyone. I have 9 fans in my case: corsair sp120 rgb. These fans have 3 pin power connectors, but my motherboard has 4 pin pwm fan headers. I have 2 4-pin pwm fan hubs connected to my motherboard. And all 9 fans are connected to these 2 fan hubs. But, as these fans are 3 pin fans, i can't control the speeds of these fans. Now my question is, if i buy a corsair commander pro and connect those 2 fan hubs to this commander pro, will i be able to control the fan speed? If not, what should i do to control them? I have a corsair hydro x loop for my cpu controlled by my commander pro and I would like to add my gpu to the loop, I have a Asus dual 3070 which has a waterblock available for it from alphacool. I have all the functional aspects of it sorted out but I need help with the rgb situation. I would like to control the rgb lights on the gpu block with my commander pro. I know that I can get an adapter to connect the gpu leds to the second open lighting channel on the commander pro but does anyone know if I can somehow tie the gpu rgb into the same channel as my pump and res? Also I think alphacool uses a non standard rgb connector but I can't find much info about it. I've looked at the adapters from piratedog tech on ebay but can't figure out exactly what adapters I need if I want to tie all the rgb leds into a single channel in icue. Any advice would be appreciated! Please enjoy this poorly drawn diagram of my current rgb setup.

Commander pro not dedecting all fans, i have 6 ll fans connected to commander pro, 1 lighting node, 2 usb for hx1000i and Hydro Series™ H115i RGB PLATINUM 280mm Liquid CPU Cooler. all products wworking perfectly, only commander pro is dedecting 3 fans and not 6.., lighting node is dedecting all 6 fans and i can control all of it but for fan speed, only 3 are showing up, i tried the ports but only number 1,2 and 6 are working, when i connect to port 3,4 or 5, it doesnt dedect the fan speed. iam using it for 1 year i think and i switched to a another windows recently, i normally intalled icue but nothing changed.( also my 4 fans are running, 3 working perfect, 4th working randomly, other 2 are 0rpm) i looked at asus ai fans control but nothing is there. when i switch to 4pin mode, 4th fan is going fast rpm and i cannot control it.) 11.zip

Not sure where to post this, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place. Tldr at the bottom I'm looking for RGB alternatives, I've got an Asus g370-g Mobo which has no rgb headers. I've got a nzxt h400i and a cpu cooler both controlled by CAM software and the rest is controlled by Aura sync i.e ram, gpu, Mobo lights. Tldr: Now I'm looking for a rgb hub/controlled that maybe connects via usb to my mobo and if I'm lucky also syncs with Aura? I'm thinking either one of these, Aura terminal, phanteks hub (love their neon RGB strips), Corsair commander pro or just nzxt hue 2. Thanks for the help

Hey guys. So I just got a 570x and I am in the process of moving my set up to it. The case comes with 3 SP fans so I ended up getting 3 more (2 for the AIO and one back exhaust). I prefer the SP to the HD as the lighting is not as harsh. To control the whole thing I decided to get a Commander pro. All good so far. My issue is this.... can I now use the commander pro and still being able to use the physical IO fan button on the case? I cannot see a logical way to do this. The fan connect to the lighting hub already on the case, and I can then connect that to one of the Commander LED headers. That is all I seem to do which means the button on the IO would be useless. Anyone know what the deal is? Maybe - @Corsair Blake Thanks.

How does their RGB control work? I hate these proprietary standards, but then they do look good so I still want to know them better. 1. Lighting Node Pro & Commander Pro, are these the same thing? 2. My ML120 x3 with Lighting Node Pro came with 2 of these plastic hubs, I think one of them is the Lighting node, but which is which and what's the other thing? The larger one has 6 or more RGB plugs, the smaller one has 2. 3. ML fans have different RGB connectors as the rest of the Corsair RGB fan lineups? 4. HD series are not software controllable and rely on their in-box (another proprietary controller I assume) controller for RGB control, right? 5. How should I connect them to a motherboard, if say I have an SP120 RGB, LL120 RGB, ML120 RGB & HD120 RGB? Thanks

Hi all, I have the Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE case with the Commander Pro and Fanhub already provided. Three Corsair LL120 RGB fans where already provided in the front of the case and I bought three LL120's more to fill the other slots. Now I have the problem that the cables of the fan in the back are too short to go to the Commander Pro and Fanhub in a nice way. The current state is that both cables (power and LED) are literally crossing my case in order to make it to the two devices, rather than put nicely away at the sides (see picture). Is there someone with the same case and fans that can tell me how to solve this? I cannot find any extension cables for the LED-cables (and neither can Corsair). Do I need to place both devices (e.g. Commander Pro and Fanhub) on a specific location? I hope someone can help. Best regards, Ganesh

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I have a question about Corsair iCUE profiles and switching hardware. I want to remove the iCUE Commander Pro from my PC and replace it with a Lighting Node Pro because it takes up less room. I'll still have all of my hardware lighting set up the same way in the same lighting channels, so will my current iCUE profiles still work the same without me having to change anything or redo all of my settings?

i saw in a video that your fans turn off if you do basic work for example i don't know how i can configure this in the corsair Icue software can someone help me with my problem i would really apreciate it. the corsair icue devices i have are: corsair void pro wireless rgb and the corsair commander pro with 4 HD120 rgb fans and 1 temerature sensor.

hey guys Im really really hoping some one can help me out iv looked everywhere online no one seems to be having the same problems as i em.. issue i have. i have 5 Corsair hd fans 4 140mil fans and 1 120mil fan randomly my lighting stoped working on all the fans and as i was disecting the problem i can get one fan to work only one fan at a time when i plug the led hedder into the corsair led hub into slot 1 all the other fans will not work when i plug them into hedder 2 3 and 4 now i tried the led hedder into the led header 1 and so all the fans will work by them self but only one at a time connected to led header 1.... they dont work in sync iv had the led hub replaced and its doing the same thing... ps i have the commander pro also with the led hub connected to the commander pro taking the commander pro out of the hole thing also same problem....

Hi guys so I'm in a pickle here I want to add two more fans to my case but I'm out of mobo headers for case fans. Do I just pick up two splitters so I can add two more fans or do I get a Corsair Commander pro fan hub and just plug all my case fans into that. Any thoughts?

I got 5 Corsair sp120 RGB PRO fans two cable coming from them [rgb/power]. Running on my b450 tomahawk via Lighting Controller that came with the fans. Can I connect these fans to a commander pro with the lighting controller to control lights and fan speed all in Icue. Or do I need corsair RGB fan led hub instead?. I swear corsair like to make things difficult when it comes to there fans . Cheers

I bought a corsair 360mm h150i rgb pro xt which I am going to mount in a push/pull configuration at the front of my case. The AIO itself comes with 3 M120 pro fans, and I have 3 LL120s on the front. My case came with a commander pro, which I am using for all the RGB and fan wiring. I have been told that you want to install the 3 fans that came with the AIO as well as the pump to the CPU fan header. Should I connect the 3 ML120s to the CPU fan header along with the pump, or should I plug the pump into the aio_pump header on my motherboard and the fans into my commander pro? My second question is how this will work with the GPU. Let's say that I am doing something very GPU intensive but not very CPU intensive. Let's say I plug the fans into the CPU fan header, does this mean that the 3 ML120s at the front of the case won't turn on with increasing GPU temperatures since they are for the CPU? Or if I connect the fans to the commander pro, how can I be sure that they will properly cool the CPU? -

Setup: 1 x Commander Pro 2 x RGB Hubs 1 x Lighting Node Everything is working fine, besides the RGB of my H100i pump and 3 QL120s. The RGB hub that came with my triple QL fan pack has a USB connector (not an LED connector like the stand alone RGB hub). I have the 2 USB connectors (RGB hub + AIO pump) plugged into the 2 headers on the Commander Pro, but they are the only 2 that are not showing in iCue. Before I take apart my cable management (which is a lot with 10 RGB fans + AIO), do these HAVE to be plugged into the motherboard usb headers? Seems odd that they would be if these headers are included on the Commander Pro. If they do have to be plugged into the motherboard directly, is there anything I'm looking for in particular for a USB splitter as I have only 1 free header. -
Hi everyone! I recently bought the new Lian Li O11 Air with the three extra Bora Lite RGB Fans and I can't figure out how to connect them. Each fan has three cables and the package comes with a fan hub and a little schematic. Is there any way I can connect the fans so that I can control the rpm with the Commander Pro, and the RGB with the normal software through my motherboard rbg header?(I know I can't control lighting with the Commander Pro). If not, how would I connect them normally? The three fan pack usually comes with a tiny remote that you can change the LED's with, but for the case version they come with a little fan hub that you connect to the motherboard. My motherboard is the AsRock x370 Taichi, and I want to mount the fans as front intake. I'm a little confused and afraid of installing something incorrectly and accidentally shorting something out.. I have the ml120 pro rgb and the commander pro, I need to connect the cpu fan header to the commander pro or to use a splitter so one header will connect to the fan the other header will connect to the commander pro and the main jeader to the cpu fan header or there is othe way to do it? I want to control the cooler fan through the corsair link and not through the bios Every advice will be appreciated
