Hi, Which one is more comfortable and sound quality better than the other in games?
-
I got some extra money and have wanted a new pair of headphones for some time. I'm not very knowledgeable with headphone specs so I've come here for some help. I would like headphones that allow me to hear all the footsteps in Modern Warfare, Yet also listen to and enjoy my bassy punk rock music all for under $75. I do not want On-Ear, I do not need a mic, I would prefer closed-back and wired. However, I am open to all suggestions. Right now I'm looking into the Phillips SHP9500 (yes i know its open-back) if you guys have anything better I'm all ears.

I've gone through atleast 5 headsets in that price category over the course of two years and they all suffer from the same two problems, lack of comfort and crappy wires. I'd like some recommendations for budget headsets (preferably with mics) that are durable enough to survive for a year at least and that are comfy, apply minimal pressure on the ears and fit large heads. (If possible I'd like it to be on Amazon so I can enjoy free shipping but other sites are okay so long as they can ship for free to Delaware for free).

Hey there, I'm looking to buy some pretty cheap headphones that I'd wear a lot. I'd like them to be over ear and open back, but I don't really care about sound quality. (I know, come at me xD) I currently have a pair of Sennheiser HD 518 and I love them, but since the connector is stupidly long cause of the adapter (6.3 to 3.5mm) it has already broken 2 audio jacks, and don't have enough cash to get the 558's with the replaceable cable, so I was looking for some cheaper alternatives. So, what do you guys recommend?

Hi, I am trying to sort out a new chair for my pc but hoping to get recommendations from anyone else that might suffer with coccyx pain like I do. I suffer with crippling coccyx pain when I sit too long on any of my current PC chairs. Even moving in bed is really painful after long sitting sessions. So I'm looking for a chair that might help with this, I have a few conditions at well - No standing desks/weird gym ball things. Tried them and I stand all day as part of my job as well. -Must be available in the UK - Prefer a chair I could rest my head on/comfortable highback. -I sit with my legs crossed a lot so this might be an issue for narrower chairs. - Must be able to take more weight, I fluctuate between 90-115 kg over a year due to health issues. Thanks for any help/feedback!

Hey everyone, After many complaints from my friends saying I don't have enough spatial awareness while gaming (PUBG, Battlefield 1, Overwatch) I've decided to purchase a (gaming) headset. All I want from a headset is surround sound and a mic. It doesn't have to be the best of the best, doesn't have to be wireless (would be nice though) and it doesn't need to come with a DAC or external amp. The most important thing for me is that it's comfortable. I've had numerous headsets and headphones which were all putting a huge strain on my ears and I was never able to wear any of them for over an hour without getting a sore head. Right now I have a Mad Catz FREQ M and a B&W P3 which I use when travelling and occasionally to listen to some music at home. They are both comfortable enough to wear for around an hour before they start to hurt, and they're not surround, so I'm really looking for something to properly play games with for longer periods of time. So my question is; can any of you recommend a good headset which is very comfortable and reasonably affordable (max 100 bucks)? I've been looking at the Razer Man O' War (which is on sale for 74 bucks right now where I live) and perhaps something from Sennheiser (with our without mic). Thank you in advance!

So I work 40+ hours a week at my desk, and I have a Logitech M510. I'm looking for something more comfortable, like the MX Master, but that's expensive and my boss probably won't let me get it. Another requirement is having several extra buttons, because I map them to functions that I use repeatedly. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi guys, My Logitech G430 sadly died about 2 weeks ago, and I just got the 50 euros I paid for it back (RMA). During that time I've been thinking about what sort of headset I should get to replace it. I want something that is just as comfortable as or more comfortable than the G430 (big, soft cups and liner without too harsh of a clamp), so I thought maybe I'll just get another 430, but then I saw the 432 for the same price, which is supposed to sound better, but has a shorter cable which is annoying for me because I like to put my headphones on, sit on the couch and watch a movie, but that requires a long cable or wireless headphones. A great microphone isn't a must, but it needs to be clear so as not to annoy my friends online I also love listening to music, and quite like watching movies but I know literally nothing about audio, but I want something that sounds better than the G430. I have no idea what to get. Does anyone have any recommendations for a headset that sounds good, is comfortable and preferably has a long cable/wireless connection and surround sound. My budget is around 50 euros, but if it's really good I could go up to 90 at the very highest. Sorry for the long post but headsets are very important to me because I plan to use them for atleast a few years. Thanks for your advice. Edit: After some thinking, I've got some more "requirements" I would really like for the headphones to be wireless and look quite discrete so I can wear them in class or on public transport without feeling like a dunce Edit: Here's a list of headsets I'm considering. I'd love to get some feedback on this list https://tweakers.net/gallery/858655/inventaris/ Which of these headsets is the BEST?

Looking for some help based on people’s views on chairs. I’m developing hip / knee issues so I’m thinking a better chair would be a start, in currently using a brazen chair, it seems alright, extremely low for me as I am 6.2. I like the look of secret labs chairs but I feel paying around 300 is for to much I’m thinking more in the region of 100-200 pound. Any help would be great thanks!

Hi guys So I have had some trouble with gaming headsets. The only ones that I've found to be comfortable were the Logitech G430s, but mine broke a while back, so I bought some Cloud IIs, which after about 2 minutes hurt my ears quite badly, so I returned those and got Corsair HS60, which, for some reason hurt my ears a little bit which I was OK with but it also really hurt my head no matter how I wore them. I have always prefered IEMs in terms of comfort. Are there any IEMs that are reasonably cheap and sturdy that sound better than G430s? Preferably with a decent microphone. If not, what would be a good cheap microphone for discord? Also, I don't have any speakers on my PC right now and my monitor doesn't have them built in so I was also wondering if there are decent VERY cheap speakers for pc (under 15 euros) Sorry for the long post. I'm a complete audio noob and just want decent sound in and out of my computer. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hey all, I have a Logitech g402 mouse and I find it uncomfortable to palm grip. I find after short usage my pinky finger feels cramped due to the small space and lack of support as well as my ring finger having no real place to comfortably rest. I play a range of games from Mmo's like star wars galaxies legends, Fps Arma 2-3 as well as 3rd person pvp like fortnite, war thunder etc I was wondering if anyone would have suggestions for mice that tackle this issue with a reasonable price point or your experience with the matter. If I could have a preference I like Logitech and Roccat's mice. I'll list dimensions of my hand in case that may help. I'll post images of my hand dimensions in case anyone will need them. *note* I am 15 and still growing so my hand size may vary. Kind regards Tom

So, I've been looking for some decent on-ear Bluetooth headphones lately and it's been more of a struggle than I originally thought. Currently at work all day I wear a pair of in-ear bluetooth headphones that were about $30 and perform quite well, but wearing earbuds for 8 hours straight gets very uncomfortable. I really enjoy the wire-free living of bluetooth headphones, but I want to find a more comfortable pair. Also, for work I often have to watch videos, so having minimum to zero audio lag is important to me. I am by no means an audiophile, so sound quality isn't a big deal for me. Basically, here is what I've been looking for: - less than $100 - bluetooth - over-ear/on-ear - low/no audio lag - comfortable to wear for hours at a time From my looking around on other forums and amazon and whatnot this seems to be a tall order, but if any of you guys have ideas of something I could try out please let me know!

Yo! I've had my current chair for YEARS, and it's falling apart. I see all kinds of people with DxRacers, because of the back support among other things, but they're very expensive! i really want one similar to these in design and support, but not with all the added cost. I'm not exactly sure if that's possible, but I thought I'd ask. Those or any other suggestions are very much appreciated! I don't want to spend more than I have to on a good chair, but they are good investments. I want to spend roughly $100 on a good chair, and preferably one that will not destroy my back. Thanks!!

Hello guys, I am looking for a very good offic/gaming chair. It only should be comfortable and should be hold very long. So it gotta be very stable. I am ready to put 300eur in there. I found Maxnomic Dominator, but idk if it is good. But maybe a 100eur is enough too? But idk either that it can maybe fall apart after one year? So a 300eur chair would be better. I have no idea unfortunetaly. Help me please :). Sincerely, Gamdschiee

So I'm looking for a comfortable pair of over-the-ear headphones/headset. I currently have a pair of Sony XB950AP and they are nice but even they seem to get uncomfortable after a few hours. I have tried other popular models such as the Sennheiser 280 Pro, ATH M-30, etc.. and didn't like the fit of those either. I use my headphones with my PC and with my phone while playing drums so I'm looking for something with a 3.5 jack. I've been eyeing various pairs of Steelseries cans as they look like they feel great. Can anyone comment on those as well as give some recommendations?

Hi, I'm looking for a rather specific piece of audio hardware. I need "headphones" that let you perceive the entirety of noise produced by your surrounding and that don't touch your ears, at all. So why not simply use speakers? Well, because they are too loud, I need something that can't be heard by other people around me. The solution might potentially be a pair of aftershokz bone conduction headphones, but I heard they emit too much sound to your surrounding. Any ideas?

Hi, So I posted this I was looking for headphones that you don't feel and let you perceive your environment; I would get the same results with a speaker that only blasts sound in one direction. All I found were some demos on youtube. Any consumer-friendly versions of such speakers out there?

Firstly, thanks for reading this post. I am a complete noob when it comes to anything concerning audio. (On thesaurus.com, the antonym for audiophile is me.) As the topic suggests, I'm looking for a headset or headphone/mic combo (I'm not sure which is right for me) Budget: $100 USD (a little more than that is alright) Preferences: I will mainly be using them for casual gaming (but I wouldn't mind if I could use them to listen to my favorite songs as well.) I play just about everything; MMO, competitive online fps, MOBA, Triple A single player games like 'The Witcher: Wild Hunt', etc. I've heard good things about 7.1 surround sound technology but I can't say I have too much knowledge on the subject. After reading the FAQ on this forum, I'm still pretty confused... (maybe I'm just a bit slow) If there are other things I don't even know I need or want, please do tell. Additional information: My head is ginormous like you wouldn't believe. It's so hard for me to find hats. Because of this, I need to know the headset/headphone is suitable for a large head and also won't make me feel like the hulk is trying to squeeze my head after say.... 4-5 hours of continuous use. Good build quality is also important so I don't break the device simply by wearing it.

Hey Guys, I'm planning to replace my computer chair this fall and i was looking at the Maxnomic chairs. I usually sit for at least 2-3 hours minimum in front of my computer every time I play games. I have a Costco chair right now that I bought for 250$ 5 years ago and it's getting old and really uncomfortable, after an hour the seat get's hard. This time I want to pay a bit more to get something that will last long and be really comfortable for long period of gaming. I look at couple chairs and finally decided to get a Maxnomic but I don't know which one to get.I don't know if there's anyone who has those chairs that could help me choose? I'm around 6 foot tall and I'm 210 pounds. Those are the models I was looking but if you have any other suggestion don't hesitate. http://www.needforseatusa.com/computer_gaming_chair_classic_office http://www.needforseatusa.com/computer_gaming_chair_commander_s_iii http://www.needforseatusa.com/computer_gaming_chair_classic_pro http://www.needforseatusa.com/computer_gaming_chair_dominator_black Thanks in advance!!

I'm looking at buying a new pair of headphones for on the go and home listening. I listen to mostly rock music, Classic rock, grunge rock, alt rock, punk rock, etc, and I was wondering what type of headphones I should get. I am especially interested in the ATH-M50XS, but I am a little concerned because I am not sure if these have enough bass. Do I need bass heavy headphones for listening to rock music? I am interested in a pair of headphones that won't look ridiculous on me in public, are portable, are comfortable (not tight), have good sound, and are overall a good pair of headphones without an insane price tag. Thank you to anyone who is able to help me. -Hydrogen
