Installed new CPU (upgraded from Ryzen 5 5600x to Ryzen 9 5950x). Booted the PC and everything was fine. Downloaded a BIOS update and installed it with MFlash, then the PC boots to recovery mode. After a few hours of troubleshooting I found that If I unplug the sata drives, PC boots fine. I plugged the sata drives back in individually, all work fine individually. Plug both of them in at the same time, PC boots to recovery mode. I also tried plugging them into different ports on the mobo, and setting all boot options to disabled except the boot drive, but no luck. Specs are as follows: R9 5950x MSI B550 Carbon WiFi EVGA RTX 3060Ti 32 GB (2x16) 3200 mhz 1TB NVME (Boot) 2TB NVME (game drive) 500 GB Sata SSD (misc storage) 2TB HDD (file storage)

I could really use someone's help, please! I have a 120 AIO liquid cooling system in my pre built pc. The problem is I'm worried the company I had build it for me, did something wrong. I keep seeing other forums saying their liquid cooling systems get them temps in the range of 35-45c, but I always see somewhere in the ballpark of 60-70c. I'm very new to the pc master race, so unfortunately I have a ton to learn. Thank you all in advance! Maybe you can also tell me where I messed up with my parts? When I play a game I get maybe 10 minutes of play time before all my monitors lose signal and go to sleep. All my RGB turns off and goes back to hardware lighting too. Its as if my PC goes into sleep mode and wont wake up. Additionally, when I force restart the pc, it boots up but changes display settings to not display on my main monitor (Samsung G9 Odyssey). This happens on the two games I'm playing the most right now, Star Citizen and Red Dead 2. Hardware monitor doesn't show any systems running particularly too hot. Malwarebytes scan shows no viruses. Things I've tried: Removing side panel to let more air in Updating graphics drivers Force closing iCue in case RGB software was buggin PC Specs: ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Ryzen 9 5950x 32GB 2133 Mhz Corsair Vengeance SL 3080 FE Corsair H150i ELITE LCD AIO Cooler EVGA 1300 G2 PSU

Eeey Guys! So I've recently won a GTX 1080, which lead to me working my ass of to get my Custom-Built PC But since I'm new to the Builders Community, I have no clue what I should get. Thus I came to these Forums to ask what I should change about my Build; These are a few things I want; - Color-Scheme; Black, Silver Accents, RGB LED's - Probably a Custom-Loop - Great OC, but still quietness (English I know) - Primarily for Gaming, Secundarily for 3D Rendering (CS:GO-ish) 2K-ish Video and 4K-ish Photo Editing (As a Hobby (Don't mind longer Render Times!)) - CD-DVD Drives (I know....) - Budget of 2300 Euro's - 21:9 Screen (Acer Predator X34, maybe, don't mind working some more for that) I came up with 2 Builds; The Z170; http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/hFb4gL The X99; http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/4HnkD8 (The Mobo costs about 300 Euro's) They're roughly the same price (I'm going to file of the Green GTX GeForce Text, It has no Warranty) Please tell me what u think of these Build and tell me if u would Change anything (And yes I know the Dominator Platinums and the M VIII Formula are overpriced) Thx!

Hello to all excessively intelligent PC enthusiasts. Unfortunately I did not discover the joys of PC tech and hardware until recently and require YOUR wisdom to build the ULTIMATE average gaming PC. I want my gaming experience to be PRICELESS (budget = 800$US). Here's what I've picked out so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bigbrotherjapins/saved/WtWkLk Thanks.

Starting to Upgrade my PC into a new case, I want it looking quite clean like any other try hard. Wishing to invest into some Sleeved Modular Cables or my PC, not really wanting to spend a whole not of money. QUESTION What Sleeved Modular Cables do I need to acquire? I see there's a few different cables with different numbers of pins. Does anyone know of a decent company that sells these products that you would recommend? thanks!!! here's a picture of my PC incase you need to see to tell me which cords I need to invest in, theres also a 5.25 drive to the top right that you can't see (don't know if you need to know that)

First off, sorry if I put this in the wrong discussion group. I'm new to the website. Meow, I recently purchased a PC (pre-built) I don't know much about PC's so I went to a friend who said he knew everything about PC's and he pointed me in the "right" direction. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883101273&ignorebbr=1 ^^^ this is what I ended up purchasing. Spent roughly about $850 SPECS: Intel Core I7 Processor 6700 Nvidia Geforce GTX 745 4GB 2TB Hard drive 16GB DDR3 don't know the exact name of mother board but the code is H11H4-AD2 &&& I believe my Power Supply is 300W (Model Number is PS-6301-09) I've had this PC for a few months meow and I'm already thinking about updating the Graphics Card which I knew I would have to do eventually but I want a better understanding about my PC before purchasing a new graphics card.. MAIN QUESTIONS Did my buddy poop in my wallet? Can I throw (not literally) a 1050 - 1080 in there and run it like a champ? OTHER QUESTIONS (depends if the answer to the Second Main Questions answer is a no) What do I need to change out in order to run a 1050 - 1080? Will a 1050 - 1080 be able to run with DDR3 memory? How poopy is my Mother Board? How's my Power Supply? If I do need to change out parts, I would greatly appreciate Links!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE (seriously, I need upgrades in my life) -Kieron (will send pics if needed, but there is a picture in the link)

Good Day Lady´s and Gent´s, I am in desperate need of help. Ever since the LTT video about the CHG90 i realy wanted to upgrade to this monitor, so after saving for some months i finaly bouhgt one last month. the display is fantastic and i realy enjoy the super ultra wide experiance however i cant get freesync2 to work with my setup. (asus h87 pro, i7 4700, 16gb ram, gtx 1070ti windows 10). When i enable freesync2 Ultimate Engine (standart kinda just dont work... also no lfc on standart mode) i get extrem screen flickering in some games and funny horizontal lines in other´s. For example in Witcher 3 i get horizontal lines (green looking) and just a bit of flickering, in league of legends on the other hand i get EXTREM flickering... to the point i get a headache at first i upgraded the monitor firmware + a clean windows 10 install, still the same problems. then i contacted samsung costumer service, they send over a technician. he also see the problem and changed the mainboard and the power supply inside the monitor. this fixed it for 10 minutes, after that i got the same problem again.... so i thought: ok, this thing is just broken and i RMA´d it to amazon and got a new one. well the new Samsung monitor (LC49hG60DMUXEN) arrived 2 days ago and this thing has the SAME problem as the last one... absolutely no differnce at all -.- well ok then i thought to myself, it´s maybe the crappy display port cabel. so i bought a new one that is DisplayPort 1.4 VESA certified. and it´s still the same sh*t. so far the internet was also of no help (googl´d for a while), some ppl say they have no problems with freesync on this monitor other complain that this dispaly is shit. i am kinda out of idears. Is it my old cpu? is it just buggy with g-sync compatible? if anyone out there has ANY idears or got this display to work i beg for your help! maybe this seems a pit picky to you but for 1000€ i kinda expact a display that works as advertised. also freesync/gsync make things feel so much smother! thank you for reading this and my deepest apologies for the bad grammer, sadly english isent my nativ tounge.

Hi folks. Long post warning so sorry not sorry lol I'm looking for some system advice, no case or peripherals just core components. Back story: Ive 3 kids (boys) and its time for a new pc, this time I've decided that they should get a pc each so I'm pretty budget constrained; around £900 for mobo, ram, cpu and gpu in each system (2700 total) PSUs, ssd etc have a separate budget All systems need to use the same components to stop arguments, used components are fine but please use average and not cheapest prices with recommendations. Eldest needs a system that he can use for his music stuff, recording and editing etc, plus obligatory gaming. Middle lad needs a system he can do his stop motion video stuff with and again, gaming. Youngest is into programming so anything works for him I suppose. When you recommend things can you please say why you're recommending an item if its an oddball or something or a quick bit of your thought process at the end of your recommendation please. I don't want to simply be spoon-fed, I want to learn at the same time so thanks for any help you can give. Oh, please don't be starting intel/amd/nvidia arguments please guys, I can make my own mind up if people respect each others opinions

I recently decided to get back into Minecraft and when I did I noticed I was getting around 50 fps as well as random drops to about 5 fps. My specs are: Cpu: AMD Ryzen 1700x Ram: Gskill Trident Z Oc 3000 Gpu: Msi Geforce GTX 1060 gaming X 6gb Before you respond I just want to add that I have tried pretty much everything online including Optifine, allocating more ram, lowering settings(which I have done yet the fps stays the same), etc. If you need any more information I will gladly provide it.

Hey guys, first time i use this forum so pardon me if i placed this in the wrong section! I realy need a new graphics card for gameing, still rocking a gtx 770 2gb atm^^ I realy need your input on what to buy, the current price´s of graphic cards are realy shitty here in germany. I have a budget of about 400-450€ to spend and my original plan was to buy a used 1080ti on the german version of craigslist. sadly the people over here lost their mind, i mean they want 700-800€ for a used 1080ti. like wtf?? so i guess i will have to get a new card. i realy hate the RTX line up and dont care at all about raytraceing (also they start at 500€). so i did some research and have found 2 options: https://www.caseking.de/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1070-g1-gaming-8192-mb-gddr5-gcgb-214.html#tech_specs GTX 1070 @460€ https://www.caseking.de/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-gaming-8g-8192-mb-gddr5-gcgb-218.html GTX 1070 ti @480€ (might as well spend the 20 bucks extra?) BUT i cant lose the feeling that i overpay a lot on these. i mean they are kind of old tech now and rtx is just out and the 10 serries stock is kinda low. also i realy dont want to buy a gtx 1060, duno why realy just feels wrong . is it just a shitty time to buy new graphic cards? or am i to picky? what do you think? any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and really sorry for the bad english and grammar, Cheers!

So I just learned I'm supposed to runot my hdmi cable off my graphics card instead of my motherboard. Or else I won't get signal from my motherboard. What if I wanna do sli? Do I run two hdmi cables from them or I just have one cable on a single card while the other are just connected?

I don't know much about building my own rig from the ground up. I don't know how to inspect the stats of my pic. And don't get me started on over-clocking. However I want to learn! I want to build my own rig. How do I start? I need super basic help. I've been watching every single YouTube video I can find that could help and linustechtips is overall the best I have found. Now I just need a little bit more. Can anyone give me guidance?
