So I watched the recent video and again got cringed (again) as to why LTT still not aware of this... We all know that OEM RGB software are hot garbage, even iCUE and Chroma (I can hear the fan boys already running at me), and SignalRGB is a paid hot garbage. So you are probably asking: But Barak??? if all of them are hot garbage what do I do?! Well all you need is... OpenRGB - This will be the driver for the LEDs, it will replace all of the malware OEM software. (it's optional but extremely recommended) Artemis 2 - This will be the controller, it will set the color of the LEDs (it can also be used with the OEM drivers if the device isn't supported in OpenRGB yet) The initial setup is pretty easy, creating profiles is also pretty easy and you can use the pre-made ones from the workshop. Why it's so great? because... It's FREE forever. It's open source and very active. It's fast and lightweight, it mainly uses the GPU so it barely use any CPU unlike almost all RGB software and the GPU usage isn't noticeable. You can calibrate the LEDs to fix miss matching colors between LEDs. You can map the LEDs in physical space. It's extremely customizable and has so many effects and plugins.... You can even integrate it with AlienFX, Logitech BS, Razer Chroma and some others, it also can use stuff like PC state, power state, inputs and stuff. It will even support the Windows 11 dynamic lighting soon (Though do we really need that?...) You can even create your own DIY RGB device and control it with this.... It can be combined with Wallpaper Engine via the Chroma integration and it's Fing amazing. And many, many more I'm just too lazy to list them out. You probably saying: But Barak??? This sounds amazing but OpenRGB it warned me that it can harm my LEDs! Sometimes you need to take risks in life nah I'm kidding, Any RGB software even the OEM ones can harm your LEDs it all depends on how you drive the LEDs. It's mainly boil down to refresh rate, the higher the refresh rate the faster that you'll burn you LEDs, I personally go with 20FPS, up to 45FPS is great and even 120FPS (if you LEDs can even support that) is still somewhat ok. Some OEM software are killing your LEDs by using high refresh rate or even updating the LEDs when they are already displaying the desired color, so OpenRGB can actually extend the LEDs life span. There are some issues with specific devices that has a terrible RGB hardware, mainly MSI so if something broke check their discord. Also the device it self will probably break before the LEDs will burn out... So yeah, this is the absolute best solution to the RGB issue and so many people aren't aware of it at all... Conspiracy theory time: SignalRGB was a sponsor in the past so maybe LTT ignores this solution? who knows, but hi that's just a theory, a PC nerdy theory, thanks for reading. (R.I.P MatPat)

I just bought a Phanteks P360a case that comes with RGB lights preinstalled (two fans and a strip). My mobo (MSI b450m pro-m2) doesn't have a 3-pin RGB header so I bought the Razer Chroma controller. When I plug the header into the controller, synapse doesn't recognize it properly (when the case is in "software mode" it doesn't show up in synapse and when the case's built in controller is on it says it's just one strip/fan with an absurd amount of LEDs). After about a hour or so of chatting with Razer support they said it could be an issue with the unit I received. So I returned it but before I buy a replacement I just want to make sure it'll actually work. If it's not compatible I'll just upgrade my mobo. Thanks!

Hey guys I was wondering IF any of you know why only one stick of Ram is lit up. Its G Skill Trident Z 3600 16GB Ram and I'm using the Razer Synapse software and the Razer ARGB controller to control my setups RGB. I've had both light up before and both sticks are showing up. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Apologies for the long title! Could someone please confirm the following for me please, - will this Dock allow detection of the peripherals aside from "standard" so that they can be used with their own software (non-Razer) ? (Logitech G Pro Mouse, Keyboard, Headset) - will it be enough to power the above, plus a GoXLR Mini with a r0de PodMic and allow the correct detection? - does the Dock support 1080p/240Hz? Longer story, - I just bought a Razer Stealth with a 1650TI and the 65W power supply is not enough when using Sandboxie for multiple (RaidSL) game instances (battery drains slowly) - the dock above can delivery 90W to laptops; - thinking of buying a Blade 14 AMD RTX3070 to replace my main desktop in the man-cave but I need more connectivity (2x monitors through DP, GoXLR Mini, 2x Logitech Mice, 1x Logitech Keyboard (might prefer over the laptop one). In this scenario, both the laptop charger and the Dock will be plugged to the wall. If someone can suggest a cheaper dock but doing the same or better and not massive size, in the UK, please go ahead Thank you

After downloading signalrgb, I've gone down a rabbit hole of ARGB and now run into an issue. I want all my fans to be controlled individually, I bought 1 razer Chroma ARGB controller all but a week ago and it works great for half of my argb devices. I've still got 6 other fans running in sync with each other off of some garbage Chinese-ium controller (ezdiy-fab White moonlight 6 pack to be specific.) I plan on splicing the argb wires in there to connect to standard 3-pin which I've checked to make sure it works. The big problem here is, they're all sold out now (or with a hefty 3x markup on ebay, if I was really desperate) and I can't find a single other product that functions similarly. Six standard 3pin argb headers being controlled via software through USB. Is there anything similar? Edit: i just refreshed amazon and they had 1 that just popped up so I panic-bought it, however, I'm still curious if there's any similar products

I'm building a pc with a ASRock Z690 Taichi Razer Edition motherboard. I'm trying to find an rgb ram that with work with razer chroma without having to use its own software. I read that some of these might work but I'm not sure if any of these will. 32GB Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32GB XPG LANCER RGB Thermaltake TOUGHRAM XG RGB G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB All ddr5 Obviously the motherboard has razer chroma but I'm having issues getting a definite answer on the ram rgb compatability. Thanks for any help.

Hello guys and ladies, I recently build a Computer using the following (relevant) parts: -MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC -AMD Wraith Prism stock cooler (by Cooler Master) -4x Corsair SP120 RGB fans (connected over RGB hub to JCorsair header on MoBo) -2 sticks of DDR4 g.Skill TridentZ RGB RAM -Razer DeathAdder Chroma (non Elite, non V2; normaly requires Synapse 2.0) -Razer Cynosa Chroma -Razer Goliathus Chroma I observed the following thing: I started this journey by fullfilling the wish to control my old Synapse 2.0 DeathAdder Chroma mouse with the recent version of Razer software(s). I encountered that using the Chroma Visualizer it is possible to sync keyboard, mouse and mousepad in different modes by applying "always on " and my "standard audio-device", setting visualization and background to the same effect and applying the same brightness. A little later I realized, that also my Wraith Prism CPU cooler was lit up in the representative colour(s). After clicking through the Razer Synapse tabs, i saw that under "connect" the "MSI_LED.exe" was deactivated. Checking MSI Mystic light, I realised, it was no longer controlling the RGB of the CPU cooler, and deactivating the "Game sync" mode, also added the MoBo and the g.Skill RAM LEDs to the synchronized LEDs. BUT, by deactivating Mystic lights "game sync", the MoBo seems to loose the configuration for my SP120 fans, which results in mostly off LEDs and alternating flickering. I observed such behaviour already on my primary system, when selecting the wrong sort of Corsair fans (e.g. HD, LL, etc.). So I assume, deactivating the "game sync" leads to the selection of the default sort of Corsair fans for the JCorsair header. Does anyone have a clue on how I can set my SP fans as default by modding MSI Mystic Light? Thanks in advance ;D PS. I could check for Corsair ML and LL fans, for beeing set as default... (Albeit ML fans are not selectable in Mystic Light)

Hi guys, I need your opinion about these headsets. Razer Kraken 7.1 USB and Razer Kraken 7.1 USB Chroma I want to know is there any difference between these 2 headset except Chroma light. Do these headsets break easy, what is their quality, do earcups fit over ears because I want that and is their microphone good for using in CS GO, Skype, Discord and etc. Sound is really good what I can see from other forums. I don't want to hear on only right side because of bad cable or quality so give me your experience, pros and cons and some advice. Thanks!!!

Hi, I may sound like a newb, but I can not remember where the settings to change the chroma of the output is in windows. I have seen it before, but I can not remember where it is exactly. Thanks.

Today I saw a black widow chroma v2 at microcenter and bought it, comes with the same wrist rest as the Mecha-membrane one (ornata) and looks similar. I noticed on the back they advertise a new switch that is linear, and "razer yellow" with a 1.2mm actuation, no doubt to combat the rapid fire from corsair. I can't find anything about these online so I had to buy it, of course.

I have decided to build a zero compromise Gaming/Editing RGB powerhouse to use for both myself and my girlfriend. Let me know what you guys think below and add suggestions The parts that say purchased I am using with my older system. The price on the CPU is the CPU/MOBO combo with warranties and taxes from a local Microcenter. I am planning on buying a Razer Mamba Chroma TE and Razer Firefly mat to fully complete the RGB overload. The Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vs8pYr

Hi, I just bought a Razer Blackwidow X Chroma and its my first ever mechanical keyboard and its great! I might need some time to adjust to the keyboard, since I am using it right now and its great :-) I actually originally wanted the Tournament Edition because it was TKL so I can have more space on my desk but that was very hard to find around in the stores so I bought this. It still is alot more compact and smaller than my old Razer Deathstalker Chroma which the Caps Lock key has broken, this Razer Blackwidow X Chroma actually feels lighter (I have Razer Green Switches, they actually feel very smooth compared to the other switches) than the old Rubber Dome Membrane on the Deathstalker Chroma. READ PLEASE VV Also, Please read, I have one question. My 0 Key on the Blackwidow Chroma works totally fine.. but it sounds like a Razer Orange or Yellow rather than the green, when I took the keycaps off the switch was green but it did not have the audible click, if so, very quiet indeed. It still has that tactile bump response when the key is registered thoug, so is this normal? Thanks

Hi I've had the Razer Deathadder Chroma for about 3 years. A few months ago the cursor started getting stuck and the scroll wheel started registering twice when I clicked it. At first I thought it was a problem with drivers. I uninstalled the drivers and installed the newest one available but the issue remained. Then I thought that something inside the mouse is broken but after trying out the mouse on my laptop I realised that none of the glitching happened. Can anyone help? System: AMD R5 1600 @ 3.8GHz Corsair LPX 16Gb @ 2400MHz Asus Strix B350F Asus Strix RX480 Crucial 525Gb ssd Thanks in advance!

First post on LTT forums. I couldn't find any topics on Razer's "chroma hardware development kit", so I thought I'd make one. What do people think of this? It will certainly make razer fans (pun intended) more rgb ready than ever. In particular its compatibility with Razer's Synapse software makes it easier than ever to RGB-ify your rig. On the other side, some might prefer razer to work with third parties on hardware compatibility with chroma and synapse. Link is below, Discuss. https://www.razerzone.com/gaming-accessories/razer-chroma-hdk

Hey, guys. I have a Razer Blackwidow Chroma and all my light work fine but the problem is that the special effect doesn't work. So like if my background color is blue and I have pink ripple effect the ripple effect won't work. I click the keys and nothing. It just stays blue. Does anyone know a fix for this? thanks.

Recently replaced my Naga 2014 with a Naga chroma Popped into an FPS and noticed when I lift my mouse, the cursor goes about 3 inches down and to the right and the opposite when the mouse is put back down. Never had this issue with the old mouse. I have disabled calibration and reset the mouse and this seems to have alleviated 90% of the issue but Im wondering if I should just ask for a replacement.
-
I've been using my Naga for a while but I haven't really had any issues until now. I have it on a fairly low 555 DPI and whenever I would lift the mouse, it would start changing directions. This becomes a huge problem with gaming especially for FPS games (sometimes it would do a whole 180 turn on me). This is after I've calibrated it to my mouse mat and it would start at a lift off range of 3. I lowered it to 1 but it would still do the same thing. I've also tried just getting rid of the calibration altogether but then my mouse just stop turning altogether whenever I lift the mouse. If anyone has had any similar issues or knows how to solve it, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Okay so I recently got my blackwidow x chroma along with my deathadder elite and firefly, and I fired it up and everything was fine, I tried it with the audio visualizer and it worked. Fast forward to today, where the F11 key lights up purple when I tell it to light up white and the keyboard as well as my firefly aren't working with my audio visualizer, everything else works fine, from other keys lighting up correctly to profiles working. I think my F11 key isn't lighting up correctly because there's some kind of disconnected lead or wire. Because if I push the LED closer to the switch itself the colors on it work, The odd thing is, it only does this with white. I have tested it on blue, orange, red, green and purple. However it does do the weird color thing if the colors are really light or really dark. Thanks for the help!!

I have been using my razer epic naga chroma edition mouse for about a year now. It has never had any issues up until yesterday when it decided that it would not work when it was in wired mode (which is what i prefer to have it in). It will come up with a Windows notification that says "USB device not recongnized - The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." every time that i try to plug it in. I have update the razer synapse to the latest version. I have gone to device manager where it shows the USB as an unknown one, not allowing me to update its drivers. I have attached a picture of my PC specs.

Hi! I just bought a Blackwidow X Tournament Edition Chroma, and i'm trying to change the lighting profile on it. It won't let me. I've re-installed synapse five times. when I hit "apply" in the configurator, the button turns gray like it should, but the keyboard doesn't change from its stock breathing spectrum cycle. H E L P

I bought a Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard and I am trying to use the Chroma Apps but they never show up in the app list. Also I cannot use any of the custom downloaded lighting profiles. Has anyone else run into this problem with any other Chroma devices or have heard of a solution? I have have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Synapse program and the SDK that comes with it.

I have a Razer Blackwidow X Chroma Mercury edition which just ran out of warranty and just recently the number 2 key has stopped working. I was looking at my switch and I need the Greetech switch to replace it. Does anyone know where I could get a switch with the LED in it. If not then could you please tell me where I could find any Greetech switches. P.S If there are some mercury coloured switches that would be nice but not necessary.

So I just got my chroma wireless charger but I can't seem to pair it to my phone. These is no connection options in the inbuilt chroma app either. Someone help please. Thanks in advance
