Hello guys. It's time to buy new monitor but I'm not really into that market so I'm begging for help. GPU: RTX 3060 I am looking for: 24-25 inch IPS panel, 240hz(or more if it's worth it), low input lag and low motion blur. I do play often competitive games like CS or LoL but single player games are no exception. I've got a few models I'm thinking about: MSI Oculux NXG253R(~530$) Alienware AW2523HF(~480$) Dell S2522HG(~302$) Samsung Odyssey G40B(~314$) (ViewSonic XG2431 unavailable sadly) Obviously I'm looking for the best price/value ratio. I'm questioning myself if 360hz is worth that additional money. Worth noticing is that in one store there is MSI G274QPF QD on sale for 410$ but I'm not really into 27 inch screens because I'm afraid that my GPU won't be able to handle new games even at 60hz. Anyways I will appreciate any help and recommendations that can help me choosing or finding the right one.

Hello everyone! I am upgrading my setup since I didn't do a rly good job at the last, but i was thinking of adding water cooling to my setup, the big cpu cooler is kinda boring. if i go water cooling its only gonna be the cpu for now. But I was searching and came across IAO and custom, I'm tempted to go for custom maybe to upgrade later on and more customizations. I am looking for a 3 fan rgb radiator and a cpu cooling block, with a pump combo. the pump is the only extra thing from the IAO but I will spend 200+ euro more when going custom. can anyone help me out with a solution to go IAO or custom and if custom help me out with parts (I have a Sharkoon tg5 case so 3 fan should be okay), I don't have a really big budget, I am also going for the i7 13700kf hope some of you can help me, Thank you for your time! And have a nice day

Hey guys, So I just got my new Chieftec Navitas GPM-1000c (1000w) power supply delivered today but when I finally got to open the box I realized that one of the ports is ... not even sure how to describe it - see the photos. Basically, it looks like the plastic part of one of the ports was used before and that it burned or melted. I ended up finding that part on the end of one of the cables and it seems totally "glued" to it now. Setting aside the fact the shop probably sold me an item that was previously used and returned (or whatever else happened to it), I was wondering if this is a big deal and if I should look for a different power supply? This specific model is sold only by one shop in my region and this was their last one. Would you say I should totally ask for my money back or should this be fine? I'm also not sure what alternative power supply would be good in the similar price range. Any words of wisdom would be very much appreciated.

About a week ago I got to play on an Acer Predator Z35 monitor and it was amazing! So amazing in fact that I decided that I should save up money for one. But the price really got me. Nearly a thousand euros for a monitor is allot concidering my PC only costed 1500 Euros to make. These are the things I'm looking for in my new monitor: G Sync (Or freesync because I'm currently using an AMD R9 390. I'm planning to upgrade after I buy a new monitor.), Ultrawide, Curved, 100HZ or above and 2560x1080 or larger. Thanks in advanced!

I currently have a HIS R9 380 IceQ X² OC 2GB and I want to up grade it. My choices are MSI GeForce GTX 1060 0 GAMING X 6G - $250 (no tax free shipping) =OR= ASUS Dual OC Radeon RX 480 Graphics Card - $236 (no tax free shipping) Current PC Specs are: Processor: AMD FX-6300 6 Cores 3.5 GHz Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Memory: 8GB DDR3 (2x4GB sticks) Graphics Card: HIS R9 380 IceQ X² OC 2GB Storage: Toshiba 2TB Power Supply: CX600 80 PLUS Bronze 600W Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit A few questions too: Will any of the GPUs get bottlenecked because of my processor? Are any of the GPU's capable of running GTA V on ultra 60 fps? Which one is better for the long run? Which one has better bang for your buck? Which one is overall better? If I get the AMD card can I run a crossfire through my current one? Which GPU is louder? Which GPU is cooler? Is there a better GPU than my current choices?

Hi guys, so I have a setup with an AMD FX-6300 and a GTX 980 from MSI and have the feeling, that the CPU is bottlenecking the GPU. I also want to slowly upgrade it because of the slow processing times. I am doing mainly gaming, but want to start with programming with the Unity engine and don't know which CPU to choose. I want also to leave AMD and want some Intel processor. I have a Gigabyte 970a-ud3p Mainboard and would also like to keep the amount of the USB ports (8 in the back). I thank everyone who takes his time to bother with me

Hi, I need a new monitor. The one I own now is slowly dying. My budget is 100-125$. Im into amator computer graphics, so i want a good (for the price) color space and color accuarcy. My desired resolution and refresh rate are 1080p@60hz though a higher refresh rate is welcome (it's not a priority). I'm not sure whether a 100$ IPS panel will be as good or better than a similarly priced TN panel. I've come here for help, because the amount of monitors on the market is so big, i don't know what to look for.

Hi all, I'm currently planning my first ever gaming build and I'm struggling with which mobo to choose. Currently I'm planning on having an i7-9700k as my CPU and I'd like the mobo to have at least 2 M.2 NVME SSD slots so I've been doing a lot of research. I've found the following two to be within my budget when looking at the complete cost: Asus Prime Z390-A MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon. Both mobos mentioned above are pretty much identical with the exception of 2 extra USB 3.0 Type-A on the Asus. So my question is, is there any reason to choose one over the other? Which is better and why?

Hi All I am currently in the market for a new PSU as my current one is making popping noises when connected to power and sometimes momentarily shuts my PC down when I boot it up (does this sound bad?) My specs are as follows: i5 8600k @4.8Ghz 8GB DDR4 @3200Mhz GTX 1070 (Around stock OC) 1x SSD 1x HDD What power supply would you recommend for my system at the moment, im guessing around 650W? (I'm UK based with a budget of around £80-£100 - $105USD- $132USD)

Hello I have a quick question for anybody willing to answer. I’m looking to buy a new GPU and decided that currently the 580 series is better for its price and performance compared to Nividia, but I was comparing two specific cards one being the XFC Radeon 580 8gb OC on sale right now or the MSI Armour 8gb which is also on sale. I would like to hear you opinion and if you have any other GPU recommendations besides the two listed at around the same price point. The GPU I am looking for is one with no coil whine but having the best performance for its price as well

So as I'm not really new to the PC master race of Gamers, I've never actually had a desktop - I've always used a laptop (where I travel a lot). Since I think my decent gaming laptop will be around for a while I want to switch to a more permanent setup A.K.A. a desktop. I know a ton about computers but I just can't choose the one that's best for me. I have been looking at the iBUYPOWER bb905 because of its power at a reasonable price, with a GTX 1070 (8GB Mem), Intel core i7 6700 (About 3.4 to 4 GHz), 8GB of ram, and some other good specs for only $1,300 at BestBuy. Now I know that you should normally build one yourself, you know "Do it up custom". I would love to do that but I'm not very good with cables as in knowing what each one plugs into. I know where everything goes, but it's just the fear of screwing up in the cables. What I want in my desktop is to not have to get a new one for a long time, but as new parts come out I will upgrade so I need something with some growing room. I do have some custom builds on PC Part Picker, but none of them match the bb905's bang for the buck. Another thing I was looking for is to be able to buy the latest AAA titles and not have to worry about them not running and not only that I need the games to run smoothly and look good (50+ FPS ; Full HD - 1440p). So if you have any suggestions please notify me and send links if possible and keep in mind I have a budget of about $1,300. Thanks!!! ***REMINDER - I'd prefer to build my own so please try to list components!!!

Hello everyone! I have a difficult choice to make, and I'd love some advice. I'm 16 years old, and I live in Belgium. I have only 2 years left to complete before I finish high school. In Belgium we call the 2 last years of high school the "3d grade". (first 2 years = "1st grade", 3d and 4th year = "2nd grade"). You're not allowed to change school after starting the 3d grade, so when you make your choice, it will be that way for 2 years. I completed the first 4 years of high school (1st & 2nd grade) in a Waldorf School. This is some kind of private school where they really support independent thinking, and they really try to give every person the chance to develop in their own way. As you might have assumed, this school was a very small school, everyone knows everyone, and contact with teachers is not very formal, it's all very relaxed and personal. At the end of my 4th year, I was tired of the Waldorf School, I wanted a "real school", where I would have to work hard, I wanted this to prepare myself for higher education. So I chose to finish my last 2 years of high school in a school called "Pius X". This is the largest school of Antwerp (the city where I live), and as a result is a very different environment compared to the relaxed and small Waldorf School. I always thought this wouldn't really matter that much to me, since I'd come there to learn, not to talk to the teachers about irrelevant things, or something like that. But now that I completed a few days in my new school, I wish I'd stayed with the Waldorf School. Not because of the extra work I get at "Pius X", that's what I wanted, but because the environment is really not the kind of thing I enjoy. I feel pretty unhappy at this new school, but I feel like it's really the only good way to prepare myself for higher education. Luckily the teachers at the Waldorf School wanted me to stay, so if I wanted to return, I could just ask, and they would make an exception for me. (I know, it's not fair, and they wouldn't do this for other people, but I've heard some teachers even cried in the teacher's room when they were told I was going to leave. They seem to care about me, for some reason.) I still have the choice to go back to my old school, where I'm happy, but I might not be as ready for higher education as I would be if I stayed at "Pius X". So basically, my heart say Waldorf School, but my brain says Pius X. What do I do??? Who knows within half a year I'll be so unhappy at Pius X I stop caring, I stop getting good grades, and my future is destroyed any ways. So what do I do??? any help is welcome.

I am currently planning to build my first PC. This is what I have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/z84hM8 I plan to run a Dual monitor setup using the following programs: League of Legends, Open Broadcast Software (OBS), Overwatch, FL Studio, and Sony Vegas Pro. I do not want to spend more than $450 USD, and cannot spend more than $500 USD. The only things I have left to get are the video card, the storage, and a case. I am very lost when it comes to video cards.

Building a new gaming pc. Picked out most of the parts but need a little help with the case and PSU. Parts: CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k GPU: Nvidia GTX 980 Ti MOBO: Asus Z170-A RAM: G Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8) SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Fans: Noctua NF-F12 OS: Windows 10 Extensive budget. Looking for an all black case, with excellent air flow and SILENT. A windowed side panel is nice but if having a solid side panel will make it quieter that's preferred. I want to be able to run it while I'm asleep and have as little hum as possible. Sleek modern design preferred (nothing crazy). And for the PSU whatever's good! Thanks!

Hey y'all. I've been using a Corsair Raptor M45 since it came out on April 2014 and because I play alot of League of Legends, my right click has started to feel "weaker?" compared to my left click. So I've decided on buying a new mouse and I can't really decide on what to get next. History of the mice I have used. (Order: Past-to-Present) Razer DeathAdder 3500 Black Edition - Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 - SteelSeries Sensei - SteelSeries Rival - Corsair Raptor M45 I've probably used the Sensei, the Rival and the M45 the most in means of length. Here are some of the things I do care about when choosing my mouse. 1. I don't need high DPI. (Right now I use the M45 at around 1000 DPI.) 2. I don't use wireless mice. 3. I don't like those unknown acceleration things that make your mouse move more that it should. 4. Grip (Ergonomics) are highly appreciated. I do have interest in the Logicool G402 so comments about it are welcome. Everything else that's worth noticing is welcome too of course!

Hi guys! So I'm thinking about buying UPS, the power doesn't go out very often, I'd say maybe a 1-2 times in spring and autumn, but I'm thinking about buying it just to have peace of mind. There are two computers that I want to protect: 1. Workstation with i7-4770k, GTX780 (750W PSU on it) loads of drives and two 27 inch monitors. 2. iMac 21" (two years old) I bought a meter and run GPU and CPU benchmarks on both computers. The meter showed 529.2 W Max To have some overhead I was thinking about buying APC BX1400U-FR (http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/AHUG-9G9DDV/AHUG-9G9DDV_R0_EN.pdf?sdirect=true). Would you say it's a good idea, would you recommend something else? Thank you in advance!
