Asus E200HA Amazon link I was looking for cheapest possible laptop with Windows 10, for college. I need only Office and Youtube to work on it. Is it the best I can get for this money or there are any +/- $50 alternatives? I definitely don't want a chromebook. Thanks

I want a laptop for only browsing the Web should i get a chromebook? Will it last a very long time since i wont be using it for anything else? how long will it last and does/will Google phase out old chromebooks over time? I just want something to browse the web but want it cheap and to last a very long time.

So after watching Linus's video on the new cheap dell fliptop laptops, I was reminded of my own super cheap fliptop laptop that I bought for less than the Inspiration P25T. For a start the basic specs: 2GB of RAM (soldered to the MOB) Cherry trail Intel Atom x5-Z8300 32GB of flash storage Windows 10 64-bit 11.9 inch 1920x1080p IPS touch screen display!! And an 6-9 hour battery life IO: 1 USB 2.0 1 USB 3.0 (type A) 1 headphone/microphone jack combo 1 Micro SD card slot 1 Micro HDMI port (yes Micro HDMI, it's about the size of a micro USB plug) Now this is as you might imagine not the fastest, not meant for any sort of productivity and also has trouble displaying video at the fullHD 1080p. But it had and has a few more major problems and flaws. The first major problem is that it would give me a nice big BSOD 5-60min after booting up. This was fortunately later solved by updating the WiFi drivers... That nice 1080p display, which has decent viewing angles considering it's meant to be an IPS display, is nice but the laptop has trouble running a 1080p(30fps) youtube video even on a good day. Now here's the thing with this laptop. I paid a total of $350 NZD ($250 USD) and for what it is, to be honest it works well. It gets through 2 full school days on a single charge (provided it isn't used at home) and I have done some very light video editing in Sony Vegas, but that was stitching together 2 or 3 video clips with a bit of text on screen, and in terms of games well Sonic R for pc runs well and NFS underground 2 is a little choppy at times but playable. The main issue now is the 32GB flash storage as I tend to install this and that and so I upgraded the storage using a 32GB micro sd. And since people will want to know, I find the keyboard to be perfectly fine although I am a smaller than usual man, but the trackpad at that size and with horrible gesture detection is the still remaining big annoyance. But when compared to the Dell that Linus reviewed, my laptop seems to be much better value for what you get the only advantage the Dell has is in terms of RAM and storage, but it sounds like the 500GB isn't worth it. All in all the warehouse (the NZ equivalent of target or Best buy) seems to have somewhat better laptops for the price. And did I mention this laptop has 0 manufacturer labels, 0 brand names, and was marketed as "Windows 10 11.6 Inch Touch Screen Convertible Grey" which just inspires confidence in a buyer. Dell Latitude E6320 and similar versions. Can they handle 1-3 minute 1080p videos? All im asking is can they do it? 1 or 3 minute travel videos with color grading is all im gonna be doing. Their specs are Core i5 3320M Intel HD 4000 8GB RAM

Hello all. I need some ideas... I will be in Germany for 7 months to study at "X" university via Erasmus+. I sold my desktop to gather enough money to get German Visa and currency got crazy in a week, $1 raised from 4₺ to 7₺ and today $1 = 6₺. All of my money is in blocked account, that is required to get the German Visa. I have got Asus X402N with Intel 2Core N3350, 4gb ddr3 800Mhz rams and 5400rpm 500gb HDD. It is really hard to play League of Legends with 2-25 fps, it lags a lot... I am planning to sell this minibook for 700₺ and thanks to Logitech, they could not replace my broken g930 headset and sent g933, it is 1350₺ and I can sell it for 1000₺ easily, I hope... It means I can gather 1700₺, lets say 2000₺. It is $333 or 286€. I just want to play League full screen, lowest graphic settings with over 60+ fps always. What can I do? What should I do?

I need suggestion for an $800 laptop that can play Dota 2 in max settings and PUBG in decent settings. Ps. I prefer playing on wifi. So... a good wifi hardware might be prefered.

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for cheap laptops (~$500 AUD) for school. My current one is dying and has a horrible keyboard and touchpad. Looking for something with: 13.6 - 15.6" display (idgaf about resolution or quality here, as I realize it will almost be shitty no matter what) Keyboard that is nice to type on i3 CPU performance level minimum (I like to hoarde browser tabs) Graphics performance good enough to comfortably play League of Legends at 1280x720 lowest settings at 70FPS minimum (not a big deal though) Decent build quality I couldn't care less about storage as I'll get an 128GB SSD for it. Thanks for any suggestions you guys have, hope this thread doesn't seem stupid and annoying like those cringeworthy youtube comments about whether people's builds are good enough for minecraft. I only ask this because the state of shopping for laptops in Australia is horrendous and incredibly time consuming at best.

Hello everyone! This is my first post! So excite! Simply put: I want to have a second machine (in addition to my fairly loud, and power-hungry gaming rig) since I don't need all the performance it provides for web browsing and word processing. I need to have a computer on for ~4 hours straight when I do homework and stuff in the evening. (I am a high schooler) I want to either have a 13-inch laptop that's fairly cheap, like the HP Stream 13, or get a Raspberry Pi 2, and watercool, overclock it. Note that it will run Ubuntu instead of Raspbian. I'm a Linux user with not a lot of spare cash. I'm looking for a laptop to run Linux on, with a small Windows partition jic, that I can get really inexpensively (possibly used). My minimums are 14+ inch screen, decent keyboard and trackpad, 4+ gigs of ram, and a 500+ gb hard drive. Any suggestions?

So I need a new laptop for school, I want a gaming laptop but most gaming laptops are too expensive. However I still do want a laptop that can play most games at a decent resolution and fps. I don't play very intense games mainly because my computer cannot handle them very well, but I would like to get into Cs:GO and Cs:Source.
