Hello, I have just recently noticed something strange is happening when trying to charge my phone with a type c cable to type c from my motherboard. My phone is a samsung and It's displaying "x" amount of battery and "x" amount of time until it's fully charged. Whenever I plug it in it will not go up / down and just stay at the same amount of battery percentage. I'm not sure what is causing this and all my usb devices are up to date. I wonder if this is just something wrong with my motherboard. or the cable. Another thing to note is that I don't hear anything on my windows when i plug it and isn't detected in file explorer "This PC" which it did used to. If anybody knows why it's doing this, it would be greatly appreciated. Motherboard: B450 GIGABYTE AORUS PRO (non-wifi)

Hey, hopefully someone can explain. I have an Xbox Elite controller and a PS5 controller that I recently bought. My Xbox controller charges when my pc is off (I have the usbs activated when pc is off in bios) but my ps5 controller doesn’t charge. I think the PS5 controller needs more juice to charge while the Xbox controller doesn’t. I’m wondering if it’s because the usb ports lose some wattage after the pc is off as oppose to it being on. Cause PS5 controller charges when the pc is on. As a side note, my ps5 controller doesn’t charge on low watt android charger bricks but it does on the newer high wattage bricks.

Recently, I've noticed a slight decrease in charging current for my 8s LiFePO4 battery after around 7 charge cycles. The charger used to deliver 1.48A, but now it charges at around 1.45A. I'm wondering if this is a cause for concern. Could this be an issue with the charger or potentially a problem with the battery? Additional info- my charger only charges my battery upto 90% soc and then cuts off the charge hence while it might be good for the battery health, my battery is prone to disbalancing issues since some bms tend to balance the cells only when the battery is fully charged, so do let me know if that is related to this issue. I use it on my ebike so it(the battery) goes through consistent shocks and tremors and rough use. Any insights or suggestions on diagnosing the situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!"

When i plug the charger in, the charge light doesn't turn on nor can i power the laptop on. If i hold the power button, the light stays on until i let go and that's it I tried every port, and every laptop charger in my house and it still did not work. Pls help, its the only computer i have

Hi, I'm looking forward to buying a Charge 5 and selling my old flip 4 to a friend of mine. Today I went to the store to test couple of JBL's new speakers and I can hear that the soundstage of the charge 5 is better than on the flip But I want to hear what you guys have to say. P.S Don't recommend other brands as I've heard and seen enough of all to decide that for me JBL has what I am looking for for the right price. Thanks!

Apologies for the long title! Could someone please confirm the following for me please, - will this Dock allow detection of the peripherals aside from "standard" so that they can be used with their own software (non-Razer) ? (Logitech G Pro Mouse, Keyboard, Headset) - will it be enough to power the above, plus a GoXLR Mini with a r0de PodMic and allow the correct detection? - does the Dock support 1080p/240Hz? Longer story, - I just bought a Razer Stealth with a 1650TI and the 65W power supply is not enough when using Sandboxie for multiple (RaidSL) game instances (battery drains slowly) - the dock above can delivery 90W to laptops; - thinking of buying a Blade 14 AMD RTX3070 to replace my main desktop in the man-cave but I need more connectivity (2x monitors through DP, GoXLR Mini, 2x Logitech Mice, 1x Logitech Keyboard (might prefer over the laptop one). In this scenario, both the laptop charger and the Dock will be plugged to the wall. If someone can suggest a cheaper dock but doing the same or better and not massive size, in the UK, please go ahead Thank you

Question about the Ma that is sold. Does that battery last longer, for example in a low volume clock radio, if it is 900 Ma as opposed to 200 Ma? 9 volt rechargeable NiMH batteries. Thanks

Hello, i am trying to add Qi wireless charging to my CAT S61 smartphone. So i bought a reciever on amazon (one of those nillkin qi tags) which connects per usb-c to your phone and you can stick that at your bach-cover. but i want my phone to still be waterproof because thats the main reason i went for this CAT-Phone. I opened the phone already and put the tag under the back cover and it works BUT i have to solder the contacts of the tag to the contacts of my connector. And i am not sure which lanes i have to connect and where exactly they are. The Plan is that i can still charge through usb-c if needed and use it as a data connection to my PC. Can someone help me and tell me which lanes i have to add and where i have to solder them to? I know that usb-c dont work like micro-usb because there is like a master-slave relationship going on and i dont know if i have to connect the data lanes and the cc lanes. at the inside of the tag i can see that there are alot of lanes connected. i will send a photo of the disassembled tag if someone needs it. here is the link to the tag: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07H8XG9SN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 thats the connector: https://www.mobiltec24.de/CAT/S61/Ladeanschluss-USB-Buchse-Ladestecker.html please excuse my english, i am from Austria Thanks for you help =)

Hey guys! So I have a super small blog where I like to review products usually that are kickstarted or things like that, just to get opinions out there and learn more, and I came across this product on indiegogo from a friend who backed the project. Here's the link --> https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/line-dock-thinnest-and-smartest-laptop-power-bank-battery--3#/ but I was reading through the page, taking my notes and what not to be able to post about it and see what seems like "too good to be true" and mixed or wrong information, and just thoughts, and when I saw their claims on the cooling, I wanted to ask questions since I don't know too much about how cooling works, as in which ways are best as to others and in sizes like this, so I wanted to get thoughts on their approach to the cooling? Will it work within certain limits? I personally feel like it wouldn't work too well, but I still need to learn. Thanks much y'all!

I have this Galaxy Tab from Samsung. There's no way in hell I'm spending another 30$ for a charger no one makes any more. Is there a way to bypass this with a solder job or something? Thanks in advance.

Guys, I've been using this laptop for quite a while and I'm still curious, will the battery overcharge if i keep plugging it while i play? I'm getting quiet tired if i need to plug out and plug in the charger every time its already on 100%. Also how can i use AC power only from the charger and not the battery? Thanks before.

Quick question here guys - For taking care of my USB battery pack, is it cool to charge it and leave it charged? Or should I be using it on a semi regular basis to deplete it and then recharge it back to full? Thanks in advance B

Hello, Some water spilled on my laptop, I tried to dry it, and it worked just fine for a month. After a month the laptop stopped charging. I tried to get it fix by pros but no one could help so I picked up 99% isopropyl alcohol and took the MB out and clean it nice and slowly, and it worked! the laptop charge again! BUT After few hours the laptop stopped charging again, so I did it again and again, every time it charging for some time and stopping again. I tried to clean, wait a week, and then connected it to the wall, works but after few hours stopped charging again. When I say stopped charging I mean it is won't charge any more. only by taking the MB out again and cleaning it and drying it with cold hair dryer and few hours or days of wait and only then connecting it to the charger. So any one have an idea what can I do? I can get it back to charge but how can I make it be fixed and not temporary? Maybe there is something I need to rub on my laptop? Dry Spec: Asus TP300LA i7 4510U 8GB Ram 128GB SSD 1080P Touchscren IPS Thanks

I recently purchased a laptop with a Thunderbolt 3 port, and have heard it's possible to charge through this port. I have an extra fast charge wall wart from my old Galaxy S8, and was wondering if it'd be safe to plug a USB-c cable into it, and charge the laptop through this. I understand it definitely won't charge as quickly as with the included charger, but will it harm my computer in any way?

Hi, so I just got my iPhone 6s back and I'm having trouble reviving it. At the moment, it's displaying nothing more than a flat battery. How would I go about making it charge again? Additional information: It's not been used (and therefor charged) since May 2018 I have used both the stock Apple charger and a Native Union charger I've left it to charge for at least 20 minutes

Does anybody know if there are any existing cases on the market for any phone with a micro-USB connection? I'm working on a project to make one for my phone, would be much easier if there is one for another phone that I can simply cannibalise and move onto a 3D printed or existing case. My Goal is to have a Phone with both Wireless and Wired charging options, so that eliminates the use of ones that take up the Micro-USB port on the device, which is why I'm expecting to have to DIY it, just wanted to see if there is something similar already, this would be one that has a Micro USB pass through and would automatically switch when it detects power through either wireless or wired charging. Thanks!

I had my phone (Motorola G6) plugged in overnight to an extension lead but when I woke up and went to check my phone it didn't turn on. I tried the fingerprint sensor and power button but nothing. When I went to check the charger I noticed that it was half unplugged; I don't know how long it had been like this but could this have caused my problems? Thanks in advance. EDIT: I've had my phone plugged in for about another 10-15 minutes to see if it just wasn't charged and I just felt the phone and it's already quite warm. Does this mean anything?

I bought a switch recently and on the first charge I only charged it to 30% and I had to go on a travel. (I wish I didn't have to travel so quick). Anyway, so I was playing Mario odyssey and having fun and I drained it to 5%. I have now powered it off and I am waiting to get home tommorow to charge it. My switch has never gone over 30%. Is it bad that I didn't get it to 100% on the first charge? Was I being not nice to my battery? Will my switch be ok? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd like to discuss about my situation. I guess this post should be in trouble shooting by i don't get any kind of help over there, so please admin let me get some help first, then i'll delete/move this topic myself So my problem is my laptop wasn't detecting any charger (lenovo ip110) i wasn't sure if it's mobo or battery problem, my laptop also doesn't turn on without the battery but after hours of troubleshooting i was able to run the laptop without battery, so the trick is even if battery has 0% charge, the laptop try to turn on and then shut down even if the charger is plugged in but when it tries to turn on i just unplug the battery, and the laptop run smoothly without the battery, and the battery indicator says "no battery is detected" so looks like charger is working also ac is supplying current smoothly to the motherboard but battery doesn't take any charge, Before buying any battery i'd like to know is it battery who's faulty that taking no charge? or this is some kind of motherboard issue that it can't supply power to the battery? Currently i'm using this laptop and posting from it, so i can just use this trick and turn this laptop on Thanks

Hey Oppo recently revealed there 125 W fast charger. It's insane. A friend of mine is arguing that oppo has stole there research from some random bloke in Australia. He then proceeds to say that Robots charge the same way as smartphones do and 125 watts fast charging under 20 min has been done before in a good smartphone! This has clearly triggered me lol and Here r a few pics of the conversation.
