( Not to blag, it was rly funny if u were there ) Today I want to share with you my current project to show people a way to "De-Cycle" certain electronics and use them as everyday tools, appliances, or in this case, computers / consumer electronics. Much more than just a games console. Today I want to show yall what you can do with a pristine model HAC-001 nintendo switch, or even a ripped apart one you obnoxiously modded and have in the dock. Either way, I have set up my switch to us as a linux machine for a few days while I worked on my pc and network. As a short test, I tried out chrome, file de/compression, photo rendering, emulators, and music conversion, my normal day to day tasks, and I am pleased to say it works. Although, I tested L4T ubuntu 1804. While I had all the settings I could want, even power limit un-restriction, the user experience was.... beta quality. Though if you need the 1804 toolsets... well then whatever. Today I am installing a new HorizonOS setup, linux, which will be what we will mostly be showcasing today, and android 10 at the end to see if we can get the AetherSX emulator to work. I wanna play dothack on the pooper. I can't seem to add a video file right now, but I will later. Basically, I want to show what could be done with a console you don't play anymore, or a broken one you can use in the dock as a pc at college. This is a simple personal project, but later Project_R posts will include reusing old routers, using older hardware as appliances, minimal-damage electronics recycling (climate wise), vehicle modifications, random ventures into modernization, and Q&A posts / Polls. At some point, a bigger part of the project will start. However that is for.... later... Also Linus why the hell is it way cooler over here than at L1. People get political, I am solely considering scale. As our recycle trade with China closes, we have been mowing to place industry back into America. With this, we will see changes to not only economy and trade, but honestly the pollution of recycling itself. While we are lead to beliewe that the good old Reduce Reuse Recycle is all we gotta do, I say we aren't doing enough. There is an example that I think is easy to give. While metal, glass, and pcb materials can be reused in many forms, ~plastic~ can only go so far. At some point, the plastic becomes fleck, a form of waste, that can't be used for anything, as of yet. This ends up burned, in landfills, or in some random place by accident. Think literal sinking ships. No bueno. In the case of electronics, while there are filtration systems at some facilities, not all of them are outfitted for solder gasses, plastic or oil fumes, or whatever other gaseous noxious bleh you could get. And while you can resell some tech, older tech gets over looked, or slightly damaged tech, maybe a switch with a damaged screen, gets ignored completely. Fact is, people just don't know how to optimize. And in some cases, its even easy, cheap, or free to do. I hope to demonstrate how, and show how to do it yourself so you, too, can be a hacker. i have a 2ds which has a firmware version of 6.0.0-12u i have rx tools installed and currently i can play games via emunand in the sd card, i want to install homebrewlauncher so i wont always connect to the internet when trying to play cia games in my console, the problem is when i try to access the homebrew site using the qr code from the site here https://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php it always crashes and tells me to reboot the system, i need help about this plss

Hi, I was wondering if anybody had any knowledge on how to check if a psp with model 2000 is hackable, I know that certain motherboards cannot be hacked but I have no idea how to check without the box if it has it! Does anybody have any advice? All the guides I can find are over 5 years old and most seem to leave this part out. (This is for CFW but if you know if it works for temp then good to know)

Hey, I have an old 3ds, I'm more of a PC guy and don't know much about Nintendo consoles. I had a PSP 3000 and installed a cfw on it for playing games off an ISO file. Can anything similar be done on 3ds?

I just got a PSP Go as a gift from my friend who bought it pre hacked since the psn store shut down so no other way to get games for the system. i just started it up and it already has some games pre installed it looks like but they seem to crash a lot and even fully shut down the system when some games load up. also the resume game feature seem to not work at all and just makes the system turn off. i was wondering if there is a way to fix this issue as i would assume its a corrupted cfw but i dont know anything about psp modding. the system software says its 6.61 pro-c than it shows the infinity symbol i dont know what to do or if its just a broken system. Not all games crash most of them seem to work but i would assume this much crashing to shutdown is not normal unless it is i wouldn't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a PSP-E1004 which currently has 6.60 PRO-B9 firmware under temporary mode, meaning, the firmware can be switched back from the OFW to the CFW... (my OFW is also 6.60). Now there's one problem: When playing Burnout Dominator, the game suddenly freezes, then shuts down. Thinking that it is a software issue, I'm planning to bump the CFW to its latest version (whatever that was) because I know that my copy of BD is clean. Now, can somebody refer me a good tutorial on PSP firmwares? (PS: I also want to record PSP footage using the included USB interface, something that I know is possible, but I dunno how to.)
