  1. Hello everyone! About a year ago, news broke that CaseLabs have been bought and the new owner was set on taking up production again. After that, there has been real news regarding a comeback. We know that some of our fans have been itching for news regarding CaseLabs and what's going on. We are now proud to announce that we've come so far in our preparations that we will soon open up our store again. The launch is planned to happen in three stages. First we will launch our new website (www.caselabs.se) where yo can find information, updates and reach our customer support. This will also be where you can find our webshop in stage 2. The launch of our website is scheduled to happen on Thursday 17th of November edit: slight delay, website will be up in the coming days. You will also be able to sign up for a newsletter so you'll be notified when we launch or webshop and if we offer any discounts or deals in the future. Second, we will start up production and "soft-launch" our webshop. In the beinning we will offer hand-picked spare parts and this is where we need your help - What's the number one part you really really need right now? We're collecting answers over several platforms and you might have seen our post on Facebook, Reddit and other forums. We don't have an ETA on this just yet, it all depends on how the talk with our manufacturer goes but we're aiming for weeks rather than months. We've decided to go this route so we can test lead times, logistics, QC and much more before plunging into opening up the floodgates. Last but not least we will "hard-launch" the webshop, complete with the original line-up, spare parts, accessories and, hopefully, new products. We will update with more news on this when the time for the "hard-launch" draws near. We're always happy to interact with our past, present and future customers, fans and friends and will try to answer any questions you have regarding us coming back.

  3. So, just a quick question. I've decided on a motherboard, now I can't decide what ram to go in it. Motherboard Memory option A Memory Option B The case this is all going into is a CaseLabs SMA8 Magnum, gun metal grey. Will be done with custom hard tubing. Overall theme is industrial/military/scientific (some sort of strange combo of all three)
  4. Hey guys! It's been so long since I've had the time to do one of these. I've played around with a 4k system (which is still a work in progress and will be hooked up to a projector). This is my current build (the 2.0 is for a new case [upgraded from Core V21 to Caselabs BH4) and latest Kaby Lake specs: Concept: I originally pictured a dark elven prince who became evil after his father sided with the 'evil' humans who invaded their land to establish peace. I have a whole 10 page story that I'll eventually turn into a comic or publish into some sort of manga/lite novel. The theme for this build centers around the prince - the black for the darkness that fills that princes heart and the evil that's done and the yellow to represent his royal blood and the promise of a brighter tomorrow that the prince wishes to establish for his race with the eradication of the humans. Specs: Processor: Intel i5-7500 Video Card: XFX RX 480 8GB RX Edition RAM: Kingson Hyper-X 2400 4x4 (16GB) RAM PSU: Corsair SFX 600W Modular Motherboard: Gigabyte H170M DS3H MicroATX Fans: EK Vardar, Case Fans, Corsair AF120 w/ custom rings Storage: 1TB Samsung 960 M.2, 2x3TB WD Red (will be getting an eSATA dock for this) Case: CaseLabs Bullet BH4 MicroATX Case Keyboard: Drevo 10 keyless Red Switch Mechanical Keyboard Mouse: Roccat Kone XT Controller: Xbox One w/ sleeved Micro USB Cable by Anker Monitor: LG 29UM68 FreeSync IPS UltraWide Monitor Speakers AudioEngine A2+ Subwoofer: HSU Research 300W 10" Downfiring Sub DACS: O2 DAC and Headphone Amp, Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100 (for speakers) Headphones: HiFiMan 400I Orthodynamic Table Build (built out of 2x6's joined with tie plates): Precursor Monitor (4k 40" AMH, currently using it as my TV in my room): Caselabs! Wario approves of this build: Paint job: Case Feet (MNPC Tech ITX Anodized): Mouse: Sleeving: Build: Air cooled dirty acrylic: Skyrim Dendric original model that I redid: Case nighttime: Case daytime: Monitor nighttime: Keyboard daytime: Speakers: Headphones: Audio setup: (the hockey puck this is a Google Cast Audio so I can listen to my music away from the computer) The Dark Prince (hail our Lord!): Full Setup: Shoes to compliment the build (designed by Pharrel - they say 'Human Race' - how ironic given the concept of this build :
  5. If there are any firearm enthusiasts on here, some may get the reference for the build title. This will be my extreme water-cooling build inside my new CaseLabs SMA8 Black case that has just arrived, and If it isn't apparent this will be an all blacked-out build. Throughout the build I will be writing my thoughts on the individual components and any associated customer service and benefits. Here is the build list so far: Case: CaseLabs SMA8 Black* CPU: Intel Core i7-7820X (New Skylake-X 8c/16t chip) I think this chip will have the most overclocking potential, and its an 8 core chip that has fallen almost half price Mobo: TBD X299, Looking mainly at either EVGA or ASUS boards as they offer great overall experiences for products RAM: 32GB Crucial Ballistix LP 2400mHz* GPUs: 2x EVGA GTX 1080ti Founders Ed. SLI PSU: Corsair RM1000i* Storage: Samsung 860 m.2 256GB SSD & HGST (Formerly Hitatchi) 6TB NAS drive 7200RPM* Water-cooling: All EKWB/Primochill hardware w/ Fractal Design (All black blocks/fittings/rads/PETG tubing/fans with Mayhems X1 Clear coolant) in Dual Loop configuration Lighting: RGB module/strips with simple warm white light to highlight the hardware *Parts that are either in hand or being reused. I am currently in a configuration phase with my current hardware to get myself familiar with the MASSIVE case and what other extra parts I may need to order (already had to order two brackets separately). Also theres an unintentional Pauls Hardware Cameo in this round of pictures.
  6. So looking at the spec sheet, I can put two 560 slims with fans on the top, a 560 slim with fans on the bottom and have a PSU there aswell. I want to install an aquaero 6XT in one of the bottom bays, will this not let me use a 560 in the bottom? Also, I think the spec sheet said a 480 can go in the bottom but no 560, I am confused. Thanks for your help!
  7. I am going to drill holes in caselabs cases for bitspower through fittings, what bit should I use for that and will be the right size? Is there a tutorial for this, as it would be my 1st time drilling holes into cases? Thank you.
  8. To begin with, I'd say, I fu**** up a bit, I killed the SD card with all the footage of my build while it was being built. But Im gonna document it as good as possible. It all started with ordering around 8500€ worth of "Gear", a new Monitor, the Caselabs Case, PCParts, Watercooling stuff. Here a "quick" parts list for ya guys: "Outside" things: CaseLabs Magnum SMA8 in Black (Super-Duper expensive cause I live in Europe ) Cablemod RGB Led Strips Some 32" Philips TV Asus PG34Q 21:9 3440x1440 G-Sync Monitor An XBox 360 I never use A Blue Ray player I also never use XBox One Wireless controller Corsair M65 Mouse Corsair K95 Keyboard Corsair Polaris Mousepad Corsair Mousemat Corsair Void Wireless Audio Technica AT2020 USB+ Some Logitech Sound system DXRacer LEDXRacer RGB Chair in Green, yeah not only Linus has a RGB chair! 9. This will be my first build log on here and I am super excited! As the title suggests I fried my 8350 back in March. Needless to say, I would not recommend pushing 1.47V through a second-hand MSi 970 Krait Edition board to a second-hand processor. I figured out that when you do this chokes tend to ark off of nearby metal heatsinks...yaaa not my finest hour. On the other hand, it was a really clean build before this all happened. I only managed to a take one photo of it before tearing it apart to send parts to MSi. But this is not about the old rig; this about the new one! I am heading off to college in August and can not take the behemoth 750D with me; you might think I'm crazy but it is just a tad too big lol. I am also not going to put any more money into a dead platform (FX series...). So I began looking for a very small case that can still fit an atx motherboard that has good aesthetics and engineering. I arrived at the Caselabs BH7. I ordered it this morning and can't wait for it to come in. But here comes the tricky part... I still need to figure out what cpu/mobo combo to put in. The primary use of this PC will be for CAD and some gaming from time to time. I was thinking a 7800X but with thread ripper just around the corner, I figured I will wait. I like the numbers on the Ryzen 7 series, but the single core performance really isn't to impressing. Hopefully thread ripper doesn't let me down... I also started on a rough 3D model for what I was thinking of doing with the bullet. The whole in the top is a cut out for the flexbay that caselabs makes for their other cases.
  10. What is the top radiator maximum height before the radiator and fans would hit the top rubber grommets? Thank you!
  11. Hello LLT community, Today is the day. Well, not exactly today, but today I am starting this topic with my build into the best case (you might have a different opinion) in the world, the Caselabs SMA 8. Where to start ? Everything started approximately one year ago, when I bought Corsair 540 Air for my first build with watercooling. And it started as a complete disaster. I finished the build everything was perfect until one day. That day, reservoir start leaking from sides (XSPC Photon 170), I was unfortunate to have a broken one. Then I went to put the reservoir outside from the case, but somewhere there had to stay a little drop of liquid (I used Mayhems Pastel Blue) and this drop came to the motherboard, what I did not notice and the motherboard (as you can guess) - died. Anyway, it was good lesson and I ordered new motherboard, assembled parts together, and the build is still running without any problems. Here is some low quality photo (sorry for that). Watercooling HW which I have: CPU: 1x EK-Supremacy EVO - Nickel (Original CSQ) GPU: 1x Alphacool NexXxoS GPX RAM: 1x EK-RAM Monarch X4 - Nickel (Original CSQ) VRM & NB: 1x HEATKILLER® MB-SET Pump: 1x Alphacool VPP655 Reservoir: 1x Raijintek RAI-R20 Radiators: 1x EKWB PE360, 1x PE240 Fittings: Nanoxia Coolforce (Many) Fans: 2x Corsair SP120, 1x Corsair AF120, 3x Prolimatech ultra sleek vortex 12 (because of thickness) Coolant: Mayhems Pastel Blue Berry What will I add: Pump: 1x Alphacool VPP655 (dual loop system) Reservoir: 2x EK-RES X4 250 (current reservoir will go away) Radiators: 1x SE120, 1x PE480, 1x CE560 (+ current radiators) Fans: 4x AF140, 6x SP120, 1x Prolimatech ultra sleek vortex 12 (+ current fans) Coolant: Mayhems Pastel Blue Berry with Mayhems Pastel White together with filter with function to separate from each other (just kidding) And of course there will be more fittings, tubings, leds, lightbox, distribution PCB's, relay PCB's, custom sleeved cables etc etc.. Computer HW: CPU: AMD FX-8350 GPU: R9 270x RAM: Kingston 2x 4GB 1600 CL9 MB: Asus Crosshair Formula Z PSU: Corsair RM750 SSD: 1x OCZ ARC-100 120GB, 1x Samsung EVO-850 250GB HDD: 1x WD Black 1TB, 2x WD Green 2TB And now part dedicated to HW. Cooling system for this HW is absolute overkill, I know it, you know it, everybody knows it. I am building it for the hw, with which I will upgrade it, but as I already said, before I do that I want to wait for new CPUs. And of course other hw afterwards. The maximum in the future what I want to change is the water block. I already have most of the parts, therefore I am only expanding what I have so far. I am doing it for fun, as well for overclocking (not exactly with current hw), as well as for showcase. And last but not least, when I chose SMA8, I want to exploit full potential of this case, since this case can cool nearly everything in the future with nice temps. # 1.0 How I choosed Caselabs SMA 8 ? : I started considering new HW. Later, I refrained from doing so, I decided to wait for the new Kaby and Zen. Because putting anything else without new CPU, is in my opinion waste of money. I can get better performence for example with the GTX1070, but there will be always bottleneck from side of CPU, so I won't do any hw update up until then. But as I started, I was looking for the new HW - this searching made me consider new case, because I lacked space in my old one, and also I wanted to do some great project. During long search I found one case, it was Corsair 900D, until...... I found another one, Caselabs SMA 8. Let's be honest I liked 900D more, there was not a question of price, 900D just looked better for me. I followed Caselabs from time to time and I started to like it more and more. I was still wondering what to do, which way to go.. But BlackFriday convinced me. There was 15% off, so I ordered Caselabs SMA 8. There was still a large price difference between these two cases, so I was just like "nah man" closed one eye and clicked the finish order button. After about one month waiting, it came to me and I started putting parts of the case together. And I can say only one thing about this case, the quality is brilliant. Difficult to say if it's really worth the money, but just look at Apple, or Samsung and their inflated margins. I have to say Caselabs made a badass case, they did a wonderful job and the least is have to do is to recommend this case to anyone living this hobby - you're gonna love it. Cheers. Putting it together: # 1.1 Preparing lightbox for being put together: Today I received the lightbox, I was very curious because I made the whole design and drawing myself. Lightbox is made out of acrylic sheets (3mm), cut out by CO2 laser, by a company named Gravitech. As I already mentioned, I did all of the drawing myself, therefore I was curious if parts would actually fit into each other, without any problem - belive it or not, it worked like a charm. Now I gotta wait for UV LEDs, which I ordered from China in December, since the whole lightbox will be glued together (except for the bottom part - this will be screwed to the remainder in case there is a replacement necessary for the LED if it breaks or for whatever other reason there might be) with glue, which is only reactive to UV light. And as well I have to wait for the LED-strip before I finish the actual thing. I am providing some photos from the testing and also some with the actual looks. # 1.2 Working on cables: After I received Steel Grey PLX from Gosumodz I started with cable flexing. I had most of the parts for flexing from my previous build, where I was doing some extension. In this build I will create full new cables from PSU up to components, thus no extensions. Flexing is very time-consuming so today I finished with 24pin only - length of this cable (with connectors) is about 120cm. # 1.x To be continued
  12. ok so i bought a caselabs sm8 with a 360 (3x120mm) rad drop in for the front panel, and a 480 drop in to the top, this gives me a little room of the 480 ran to place shallow mounting 5.25" bay shit, i have 2 bays to fill and i want any ideas or pictures, or items that i can buy or make or anything to fill those 2 5.25" slot... any ideas welcome, nothing is too crazy, if anything crazier the better.
  13. does anyone know or have an estimated eta for when caselabs will start orders once again? looking to get a SM8 but everywhere is out of stock.
  14. Hey! So, I have a CaseLabs SMA8 and two GTX 1080ti's. I am looking to spice up the looks of my build by making them be vertical. CaseLabs wanted to sell a new Motherboard Tray for the SMA8 that had the possibility for dual vertical GPU's, but now they're bankrupt.. So, what shall I do? Does anyone know a solution to this that doesn't invovle custom machining or extreme jerry rigging? If possible I would like to damage my Cas as little as possible. I looked into modding 2 CableMod oder Cooler Master verical adapters, but I then the spacing between the cards would probably be off.. Help is appreciated! Btw, it's okay, if the ports of one GPU are obstructed!
  15. Anyone know anything about finding old CaseLabs parts? I bought a Mercury S8 some time after the "7 Gamers 1 PC" video and I was really looking forward to building my next new PC, 1st ever water cooled build. But then I was out of cash and buying a house so it sat in the closet for 3+ years. Now I'm finally procuring parts piece-meal for my new system and when I went to mount the power supply I found the thing is hovering off the bottom by almost 1.5cm! It does seem to hold itself well but I'm not sure if I can let that go like that, it's a somewhat heavy Corsair RM1000x. I never bought the PSU support bracket when I had the chance, I never thought I'd need it. Any ideas? I'm good with even a janky solution as long as it's not a fire hazard (stack rubber washers under the end maybe, etc). Thanks!
  16. Hi,This is probably a longshot but I'm looking for a replacement midplate for my SMA8. Anyone knows where I might be able to get one or if someone has like prints on them so I can order from a workshop? Thanks
  17. Im starting a project to creat the case labs cad files. Any help would be appreciated and anything i create will be open source on thingiverse.
  18. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/pc-case-maker-caselabs-latest-news-bankrupt-liquidated-us-tariffs-a8487416.html « Trump tariffs have forced us into bankruptcy and liquidation, says PC case maker CaseLabs » i don’t want to be political, but these kinds of results are predictable to anyone who has taken Economics 101.
  19. Buy THW10 on caselabs.com: http://geni.us/S4WBJ Buy other cases on Amazon: http://geni.us/j4w0
  20. Well this truly sucks, I needed some repair parts for my Merlin SM8 and now because of their bankruptcy and retailer's buying out their inventory I can not easily source the front I/O parts I need. https://www.overclock.net/forum/380-case-labs/1705596-official-caselabs-will-closing-down.html I am though getting off lightly, it looks like they do not even have the liquidity to fulfill all of their order obligations
  21. So Caselabs is apparently shutting down. Citing increased cost, and reduced margins as incompatible with further day to day operation of the company.Part orders should be fulfilled completely, but the case orders might a different story. New orders are closed site wide. I personally will miss this company if it's not saved at the last minute. Offering some of the best custom cases for water cooling (or in general), with regards to options offered. jayztwocents , LTT and others are known to use Caselabs products, and thus this is a big blow for the enthusiast pc builders out in the wild. 22. Well, my next build when NVidia and Intel releases their next product was going to be based around an sma8, looks like that won't be happening now. The Enthoo Elite seems like the next best choice, but there might be some clearance issues with my top radiator configured for push pull. (hangs over the top of the motherboard, and might make maintenance less than pleasant) Thermaltake seems to offer a similar case to caselabs, but their site seems to be broken for ordering larger cases in the US. 900D (1000D lacks bottom radiator support) might work, but it'll probably have the same clearance issues as the Enthoo Elite. Currently, I'm on an Enthoo Primo, and love it for the most part. Only issue is the top radiator hangs over the motherboard making swapping out ram, or working in the case a choir. Also, if I need to remove the 480 radiators the 5.25" panel needs to be unscrewed. Hopefully, someone purchases caselabs patents in the bankruptcy auction. Are there even any practical cases that compare?
  23. Hey guys! Alrighty then, I've got another comission to do. Here a couple of references of my previous builds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhTOVDKEVFU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-ENpEXoBaw https://imgur.com/a/XCKdSud Part's that are already set in stone: CPU: Intel 7980XE (pre-binned 4,6ghz) GPU: Nvidia Titan V (yup...) Case: Caselabs SMA8-A (with RGB Midplate) Mobo: Asus Rampage VI Extreme PSU: Corsair AX1600i (I know, this is way too much, I already told the client this decision will by frowned upon) Cables will be custom length by Cablemod RAM: G.Skill 4x16GB 3200 CL14 FAN: EK Vardar 120ER RGB SSD: Samsung 970 Pro 1TB HDD: A couple o' 3TB WD Red EKWB Waterblocks, Reservoir, Dual D5 Pumps, Tubing and Rads (1x 480, 2x 360) Bykski fittings cause they work the best with Tube Sleeving (the client requested soft, but sleeved tubing, just like I showed in my tutorial here: https://imgur.com/a/nz8jE3F) Fancy Stuff: Addressable RGBs by Cablemod Let's just hope that I don't forget to make loads of pictures / videos. It's not everyday that you get to build such a monster. Update 11.06.2018: All parts are on their way! Also, this baby has a Name now: "Walletripper". I think it's fitting. Update 04.07.2018: The case is assembled! Pretty much everything arrived today! (Sadly CaseKing forgot to send me the fans so I can't mount any radiators yet :/) Installed the waterblocks on the Mobo and the GPU, looking good so far! Also: It seems like the AXi Pro Mesh Cablemod kit doesn't work with the AX1600i, it seems like u have to buy the RMi/RMx set, what a bummer.
  24. Was Originaly looking for the SMA8 revision A when i saw an article on tomshardware. Anyone also considering getting one? When its available that is. Its sure is good looking
  25. Anyone have any leads on where I might be able to find one? I can't seem to track them down from any suppliers. I've found these that have and RGB ring but for my reset button, I'd really prefer the dot lighting. Specifically something like this, but RGB capable. Specifics I'd be looking for: Face: 18-19mm (although I could modify things for a 22) Shaft: 16mm (although I could modify things for a 19) Lighting: RGB Dot Finish: Black Anodized It's just going to be a reset switch/drive activity indicator (going into a caselabs SMA8-A), so the switch doesn't have to be able to handle anything crazy as far as voltage/current goes, just needs to be momentary.
