Hi there! I am currently in the process of building my first computer in a Corsair 5000d airflow case. My goal is to fit 15 case fans in total. - 3 front intake - 3 front side in take - 6 top exhaust with 3 push/3 pull setup with a 360mm aio radiator - 1 back exhaust - 2 bottom upwards intake The question is that since there is no bottom fan mount above the psu divider, I was thinking of using either Suguru moldable glue, or a 3M double sided tape the hold the fans in place. There is a bottom intake for the psu, so the bottom two fans would get the air from the bottom intake through the psu. What are your thoughts?

Hi guys! I’m new here and I just built a pc. I bought 1pack 3in1 fans which is Darkflash C6MS and I put 1 in the aio for outtake and 2 to the top of intake. I’m planning to buy 3 fans to add to my set up. I would like to know if I can use different pack of fans or should I buy 3 single fans of Darkflash C6MS to connect it to the main fan. thank you please help!

I have an stock rear fan set as exhaust and deepcool gamerstorm 240 mm aio whose fans are set as intake. How should I change this to get better thermals. I plan to buy 3 additional fans and fix it in the front as intake and change the aio as exhaust.

The lights still turned on but just doesn’t spin. The bios doesn’t even recognize the one that isn’t spinning. Any way to fix this?

I was thinking about getting a Phanteks Sk-120mm for my rear exhaust because I wanted to match the 3 front intake fans that came with my P400a-digital. But I was wondering if they are good. I know there are better options RGB or not at the price point and that's what I'm nervous about. I don't know if it would be a better idea to get the matching one or to get a different brand but have the RGB not matching. Or even getting a 5 pack of different fans to be my exhaust and replace the ones the case came with. Thanks,

I recently bought a three pack of the Corsair AF120 and they're stuck at full speed on my Asus motherboard. I've tried using AI Suite 3, the BIOS fan control and Speedfan but nothing lets me change them. I noticed on my friends Asus BIOS under the advanced fan settings there was an option to choose between PWM or DC control but I don't seem to have an option for that. How do I enable DC control? Fan Xpert cant even detect them. Thanks.

Hey everyone, tech and retro video game enthusiast here doing my first few posts! I bought a 570X case from Corsair a few years back when it was released, I absolutely love it and want to keep it for my new Ryzen build. I have had some issues that unfortunately happened outside of warranty and want to fix myself. First problem, one of the front fans has died and I don't trust the others. I want to replace the 3 front facing fans with these (LL120) but still have RGB control via the case controller and buttons. Would it be as simple as just unscrewing and swapping out as a plug and play or is it more complex? The LL120 comes with its own RGB controller but one is already mounted in the case. Second problem that is of lesser concern, the front 3.5mm audio out is absolute trash. Sounds horrible and I didn't realise it was bad until my motherboard 3.5mm out started playing up with the connection (constant disconnect and reconnect). Has anyone repair a front audio connector before? any tips? When I have the new motherboard Ill probably just go straight into that or a DAC but if its fixable that would be great. Open to all suggestions I have been a system builder and retro modder for a while so I have tech building and mid-tier repair experience. Thanks!

The next morning i was feeling very good ate delicious brakefast and took an fast shower, then i went to my room ready for Installing Windows on my Computer. The PC turned on... at this moment i didnt knew what problems are waiting for me. First Thing i noticed The case Fans are not spinning but the rgb is on. I downloaded Windows and tried everything to get them to work ... they diddnt. Second thing, after some serching for a solution on different websites i realised that my Graphic Card Fans also arent working... i really tried anything i could think of but coudnt fix it. The worst thing is that suddenly the rgbs from the case fans also turned off and they do not turn on. -I have 4 BeQuiet 120 mm Rgb Fans connected with an 3 pin female connector to the motherboard and to the Power Supply with an sata Cable. -My Graphics Card is the Geforce RTX 3060 Asus Tuf Gaming (Asus Tuf Gaming Rgb Logo working) Mainboard Gigabyte B550M DS3H Mainboard I hope i you can help me. Hey there! I finaly got to install my new CPU 2 weeks ago temperatures and everything is working as intended the new Noctua NH-D15 cooler is great as well added a 120mm fan in front as well to the 150mm one in the middle. Now something im not sure if I should worry about or if its okay or if its something in BIOS I should set up is this. When booting up my PC after pressing the power button my back case fan goes full throttle for a while, whilst my CPU fans turn off completely. Then they start again my case fan goes normal as well and they do that again afterwards. After that is done my PC starts to boot up. I question a bit that this is normal behaviour but maybe some of you can give me enlightenment why and if so whats the issue. Here is a vid of the first cycle it does so then it repeats the same thing and than starts to boot. Every helpful piece of information is welcome! https://streamable.com/0olp5e Edit : Current specs https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/52377854

I ALMOST done finding/buying all the parts for a new water cooled PC for myself, but a few things are being very elusive, one of them being my desired fans. I won't go into detail why, but I'm currently decided on getting Lian Li's SL-infinity UNI fans for my next build. Only problem I am having is finding them. Been checking almost daily on various sites and they are either out of stock, or asking almost double the price; I live in Canada by the way so a $25 USD fan is more like $34. I'm starting to get tired of waiting and am wondering if there are any other fans that do what Lian Li is doing with their daisy chaining system which is the major reason why I want to them use? RGB would be nice but at this point if availability is that bad I can do without

Hi! Im moving my stuff into another case with a different airflow. I’ll take the occasion to ask you guys, if it’s nessesary to remove those M.2 cooling-plates aswell as the cover on that propeller-thing on the motherboard. See image, before and after: My main question though, is: Does the fan (incoming air from the bottom of the case) have a huge influence on the little fan-thingy on the motherboard, which tries to cool down the heatsink beneath? Will the Air inside the heatsink get trapped and therefore the components underneath will get too warm? - I can plug it out it seams, but will that course problems? Heres a bigger view: (Im gonna have 3 fans down there btw)

Hello i have been having a minour problem lately and it has been stressing me tf out. Pretty much my case fans are at there default settings in the bios, but whenever i do a fan curve the system just doesnt want to listen, when im in the bios the fan curve works how it is suppose to but as soon as i launch into windows my fans are going up and down like crazy from 900rpm to 1400rpm. I know it is a minour issue but i want to do a custom fan curve. Any help will be appreciated

Hello All! I do apologies if this has been covered, I have searched for quite a while! I just completed my build yesterday using all brand new components. My issue is - the two 3-pin Aer 120mm fans in my NZXT H510 are connected to CHA_FAN1/WP (rear fan) & CHA_FAN2/WP (top fan). Both spin! However only 'Chassis Fan2 Speed' on CHA_FAN2/WP RPM is being registered in the BIOS/A-Tuning. 'Chassis Fan1 Speed' is displaying 0RPM same with 'Chassis Fan3 Speed' (which is not being used). I did some experimenting - I swapped them and the top fan registered RPM on CHA_FAN1/WP and rear fan on CHA_FAN2/WP still did not. Originally I thought the problem was CHA_FAN1/WP header, however, after this experiment It seems to be the rear case fan itself - any fix suggestions? Thanks for your time, it is very much appreciated! Cheers

Hi, I have been looking at ARGB fans, and I'm wondering how many fans can I plug into 1 ARGB header. The header on the mobo support a max of 3A. the image below belongs to the mf120 halo coolermaster fan and it got me all confused, why is there a fan current and an rgb current? which one should i be following, and how many max would i be able to connect onto 1 header

Hi Guys, I've recently purchased a coolermaster TD500 mesh that comes with 3 front ARGB fans. I've also separately purchased 4 x MF120 Halo white ARGB fans. Motherboard is MSI B450M Mortar Max CPU: Ryzen 2600 stock cooler PSU: Superflower Leadex iii gold 650W ARGB White With the above setup what do i need or how to connect everything(7 fans) for ARGB? The PC Case includes a hub for only the front 3 ARGB fans and the above MF120 Halo white fans doesn't come with a hub. On the side note is it possible to "mount" a 3rd 3.5" HDD in this case? Hope the above information is enough for an answer. Thanks in advance.

Heya guys, Not sure if anyone was waiting for it, but the last time I heard, Lian-Li's new Unifan design was supposed to come out "Q2 2020." That was last reported in CES this january before COVID really took off over at their factory area. So I though, hey, why not send a message and see if they would tell me either an updated release window or maybe even a date. You can read the correspondence below, but spoiler alert, they said release window is now Q3 2020 and that they were at 100% at the factories. Message sent to them Hello, I have searched online about any information regarding the release date of your uni-fan concept last shown at CES 2020, and the last information heard was Q2 of 2020. Now that we are entering Q2, considering the increased impact of COVID-19 to most factories and distribution, is that still so? Also, if you are able to share at this time, a more narrow release window? Thank you kindly for your time and any information you are able to share. Sincerely, *REDACTED* ---------- Reply back from them Hello *REDACTED*, Uni-fan is the new product that will be launched in Q3 J Our factory in China affected by COVID-19 in Feb. But we already back to work with 100% capacity in the middle of March J Thanks! Best Regards, Sandy Chen TEL: *REDACTED* FAX: *REDACTED* Skype: *REDACTED* www.lian-li.com

Hi guys, so I'm planning to get a argb and pwm hub(GameMax Remote PWM+ARGB HUB V3.0) and a 1-to-5 argb splitter(Cooler Master 1-to-5 ARGB Splitter Cable). And I'm getting a DeepCool CF120 Case Fan (ARGB Fan). So, do i control the argb lighting with the cooler master app, the gamemax hub app or the deepcool app?

So I have a closed front case with limited air slots, I do have a filtered top opening and obviously rear but I’m just wondering what’s the best case fan setup for a case that doesn’t have an open front grate which limits airflow? Thought about possibly reversing psu for extra fan but the case has a basement, I have 5 fans to use so I was thinking 3 intake in front and 1top exhaust to go with rear exhaust Edit: incase it helps I have a darkflash J11 case, noctua nhu-12s cpu cooler and msi 2060 gaming Z with dual fans

I currently have my PC built in a Phanteks Eclipse P400 with a Cryorig H7 cooling the CPU, two Corsair HD140s at the front for intake and one Corsiar HD120 at the rear for exhaust. I plan on upgrading the CPU and going for a 280mm AIO which comes with two extra 140mm fans for the radiator. The cooler in question is a Corsair iCUE H115i RGB PRO XT 280mm. I'm also going to replace the front panel with the P400A mesh panel for better airlfow and fan visibility on the front. So this leaves me with 5 fans, one 120mm RGB for the back, two RGB 140mm and two non-RGB 140mm. And a radiator which can only be placed at the front since top doesn't have enough clearance for any sort of radiator support. What is the best fan setup that I can do with this with both aesthetics and performance in mind? Push, pull or push/ pull for the radiator?
