I have a question, please if you can help me, I was saving to buy this monitor, its price was 139.99, today I was finally going to buy it, but the 139.99 option is no longer there, it seems strange to me because I had seen it also at that price in newegg and I think in walmart too, and now it is nowhere at that price, where I see it available it is $50 more expensive, now I have a doubt, when I started saving I had seen several reviews of monitors , but whenever I looked for them in stores they were never available, could this be the case with this monitor too? Now I don't know what to do, because it's not just $50 more, I also have to pay shipping, I don't live in the US, I would easily have to pay $100 more, so what do you recommend? pay the $50 while it's still available?; expect it to be back at 139.99? or better to look for another monitor? thanks for your help.

hello once again my mom will get me a new phone, because i am in dire need of one (im a proud 7 year old j7 prime owner) im not sure if these things will fit my very tiny small budget, but anything under said budget will help a lot anyway, here are my requirements and desires tl;dr: just a phone with a good camera and a headphone jack, thats it - a decent camera with decent video quality, as im planning to start vlogging - 64gb or greater storage - ok cpu, since im just gonna play light games like i love hue and monthly idol. star rail, ill leave it to my tablet - good customization options.... like xiaomi... xiaomi is cool ig - usb c so i can share the same charger with my tablet - headphone jack... i hate bluetooth for so many reasons - expandable storage? maybe? i prob wont use it, but its good to have - more than 1 camera is completely unnecessary, but ig its also good to have, since ill start vlogging, not a must - pretty colors.... grey will work i dont care but let jt have pretty color options, not a must - PLEASE let the cases i find on shopee be cute.... also not a must - nfc would be good to have, not a must im not sure if these will be available within my budget, but im sure it exists, somewhere here are some sites that you can check if its availiable: amazon.com.br, mercadolivre, techinn, kalunga, kabum, pichau, miranda, ferreira costa, extra, magalu, americanas, pontofrio, casas bahia anything helps !!! i just need a better phone.... sob

She takes photos and videos a lot, browses, uses facebook etc. 256GB would be better but I think 128GB is fine. Also she likes bigger phones, I think 6.1" would be good. We would like to go for something cheaper. I write down here what iPhones are available and how much they cost. What is the best value for money ? iPhone 11 128GB - $587,15 iPhone 13 128GB - $710,92 iPhone 13 256GB - $843,32 iPhone 14 128GB - $843,32 iPhone 14 256GB - $972,55 iPhone 14 Plus 128GB - $972,55 iPhone 15 128GB - $973,13 iPhone 14 Plus 256GB - $1 102,61 iPhone 15 256GB - $1 102,61 iPhone 15 Plus 128GB - $1 102,61 iPhone 15 Plus 256GB - $1 235,16 (I did not mention Pro's and SE's or iPhones with 64GB)

Hi, first time to the forums after exhausting all alternative places to ask, so bear with me! Currently: Running 2x Dell SG2417DG's bought in 2019 ; 24" 1440p 144hz 8-bit color TN Panel https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/3c3d64a Since i WFH and GameFH, these monitors served me well running 10+ hours a day typically at 75~100% brightness, BUT it generates too much heat on the monitor itself (bottom edge specifically) and it's starting to become unbearable in the room despite addressing as much as possible. QUESTION TO THE FORUM: What are my solutions? I'm very new to understanding monitors especially in terms of energy/watts/heat and especially panel types (TN/VA/IPS/OLED) etc. Ideal monitor specs: 1) 32 inch | 4k | ~144hz | 10-bit color 2) 27 inch | 1440p/4k | ~144hz | 10-bit color 3) 24 inch | 1440p | 144hz | 10-bit color FYI it helps if they're thin from the sides too, as in Power Supply is NOT integrated into monitor since im mounting them and my desk is shallow depth due to space constraints I'm very likely going to buy a pair of them too. If you guys happen to have some good suggestions that doesnt break the bank, please let me know! lol, that means idk buying a $1500+ monitor is almost out of the question... P.S. if LTT reads this, I really think energy consumption/heat output of monitors would be a good metric to add for their reviews especially if they put things in perspective with their FLIR cameras, compare it to idk, 60hz base monitor + best selling average gaming monitor with the reviewed monitor for the video.

Hi, I'm currently looking to buy a new monitor since I need one that has DP, and tbh I need an upgrade from a TN panel non-HD monitor. The things I want in a monitor are 1920x1080 resolution 1ms response time and 144Hz minimum refresh rate with around 24"diagonal and probably an IPS panel because I heard bad things about VA panels. So I've found some models that meet my standards and are around 180-220 dollars. The models in question: Asus VG249Q LG 24GN650-B AOC 24G2 What is your opinion on what model is the best bang for the buck or do you have any of your better recommendations?

Hi, so my sister asked me to find her a laptop, and I really don't know how to give advice: I have built my own system, but I looked at parts which I liked and which performed well depending on power use, cores, bla bla bla... This is a laptop and I have no idea what I would advise to buy. She was thinking of an Acer Nitro, but I did some reddit-ing and saw that Lenovo Legion offers the better choice for the price. She's on a 1500€ budget. If the guy reading this were to choose and say "okay, yeah I'm definitely taking this" what would it be? Acer Nitro (Nitro 5 NH.QFWEX.003, Nitro 5 NH.QFMEX.00W) Core i9 12900H or Intel Core i7 12700H 16GB DDR4 512GB NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX3060 6GB Lenovo Legion (Legion 5, 82RD006XSC, Legion 5 82RD006WSC, Legion 5 82RB00G9SC) Ryzen 7 6800H or Ryzen 5 6600H or Core i5 12500H 16GB DDR5 1TB NVMe SSD NVIDIA GeForce RTX3060 6GB I mean... From what I can tell, the Lenovo offers faster ram and more storage. What about CPU? Is it wiser to have an Intel CPU in a laptop or Ryzen? What about durability? Which one would last longer and/or have a better display?

I need help finding a laptop for my father.
Sigfried posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
It's been literally 6 years since I looked at laptops and I really need some help. Here's what I'm looking for: € 400 - 650 (shopping from Italy) 15" possibly 17" - pops getting old, a big screen is a must. at least 2 USB-A ports 3.5mm audio jack Num pad Bluetooth and Wifi - is it even an option not to get them? if yes then I need them. If possible I would like for it to have some graphical power, wheter It's a small GPU or a decent APU. here's (really) nice to have stuff, I could get adapters But I'd prefer not to, the less I complicate my dad's life, the less I complicate mine. Ethernet port SD card reader and here's what I am NOT looking for: Apple laptops - we really don't need to waste money right now 13" - his eyes haven't got any better in the last 11 rows. Chromebooks - He needs a computer, not a heavy phone. and last but not least here's what I have no Idea about: Intel or AMD? - how's the market looking right now for laptop CPUs? Storage - do they even make hdd laptops anymore? -

Around last year, I was brand new to PC building, so I followed a MicroCenter Employee's build guide, and followed whatever they told me to buy. This is what they told me to get: i9 9900 - $429.99 Stock Cooler ASRock Z390 Taichi - $169.99 IPSG 32GB 2x16 DDR4 3200 RIPJAWS - 149.99 Intel 1TB 660P Series QLC M.2 - 99.99 EVGA Supernova 650W G3 MOD PSU - 99.99 EVGA RTX 2070 Black Gaming Dual - 478.99 Total = 1514.99 Most of my friends yelled at me for getting a locked CPU, so I proceeded to exchange it and get the i9 9900k which was $20 more. Furthermore, I have no idea why that employee recommended a stock cooler because my temperatures were going above 85C, nearing 95C. Again I had no idea which one to buy so I got a Coolermaster Hy[er 212 LED which was $35. Now I'm understanding that ASRock is generally a budget brand where Asus, MSI, Gigabyte is more premium, which my build is no where near budget. I'm looking to change my motherboard, and I need some suggestions. Note: All prices in this message is in USD.

Hello! Recently my PSU's fan has started rattling. I have been using it for about 5 years. It is a PSU from a Local Brand in Iran. (GP580A-ESD) https://en.green.ir/products/power-supply/gp580a-esd It is a reputable brand with decent products and warranty for affordable prices in the local markets. 1. I was wondering if I should change my PSU or get it fixed? 2. Can I fix it by myself or do I need a technician? 3. If I need to replace my PSU, which one of these is a better candidate? 80 Bronze (GP600A-GED) https://green.ir/products/power-supply/gp600a-ged 80 Gold (GP650A-UK Plus) https://en.green.ir/products/power-supply/gp650a-uk-plus The Gold is %30 more expensive than the Bronze one. Should I pay the extra to get it or not? (I will be using it for gaming and my uptime is like 8-10 hours per day - Mostly Idling)

I just made the same post in the wrong category/fourm Can someone piece together a "high end" gaming PC (not really a pc.) for under $350 CAD? In reality it just needs to be a cpu (preferably 2018 or newer), mother board, ram (16G), NVMe ssd, and cooler (stock cooler is fine if applicable). I have a psu, and gpu, and will be building a desk PC so don't need a case. If multiple people want to provide their suggestions below it would be appreciated to have different choices to pick from.

Hello, i always wanted an action camera to record some vlogs (outside strapped on my head) and reviews (inside still strapped on my head to show the product better). I currently have a samsung m31 and I'm using it to record videos and it will stay as a primary source of video, the second camera (the one you'll recomend me) will be used as a secondary camera shots (or if it's really good i'll swap). My only concern is that it should be sold with an head strap or atlest they should sell it (original or not it's the same). Thank you for helping me and sorry for bad English.

Hello, I am Simon from France :) I am writting this topic because, my current laptop just stopped to work after 5 years of usage. Unfortunately, i really need a laptop for school. Thus i have only one question. What laptop should i buy ? I am a little confused as there is a lot of different choices. I use my laptop for personnal use such as streaming or chrome usage. But i also use it for school where i use softwares like Solidworks or other CAD softwares and so some flow simulations. I don't play a lot on PC. I like to use it on my desktop plugged to my monitor so the thunderbolt 3 experience with a dock station seems really cool but not mandatory. I need your help. What laptop do you think is the best for my usage ? i am looking for one between 1500 and 2000 € and can go a little bit higher if its needed. Thank you in advance

Long story short, i missed an opportunity to get RTX 3070 FE in initial days since the distributor had wrong price mentioned then came to know they refunded the additional money to buyers. Then It went out of stock for many days, So I created this app to get notified when a product on the site comes in stock. I used it for many days whenever i was online, but later got the offline form to purchase the card. So decided to share it so others can make use of it. I had shared this on Reddit & one guy from Europe managed to get notified about asus 3080 tuf on time using it & managed to get it. This isn't an auto buying bot. This just plays a sound & sends email notification. Here are the details if anyone wants to try it - https://sites.google.com/view/product-stock-watcher
