Looking for an appropriate PSU for SFF pc build with 3800x, and 3080 FE. I have tried to contact Corsair India Sales/Service regarding availability, afraid haven't heard back from them. Found a seller on Amazon, however the prices are all jacked up and Corsair India Sales/Service is neither confirming if the seller is genuine nor saying otherwise. Am looking for 750w SFX PSU, what are my options?

Budget (including currency): £1500 idk what exchange is to $ Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, DAW workstation and editing, office work Other details Hi, hope someone could help me out here, in a few months I am looking to buy my new pc and I want it to be able to run anything above 60fps on ultra or even close to 100fps with little to none lag. Also 1440p or even at times 4, I dont know if this is manageable on my budget but the closest thing would be appreciated, also for my DAW I need a beefy cpu roughly overclock in the late 4 ghz range and high amounts of ram to be able to render my editing and have many windows open for multitasking, If I can remember I have a 1050ti, i7 3.9ish ghz, 16 GB of ram. I have done some configuretors but I could build it myself however I am not very confident becuase I dont want to break anything and for such a large sum of money aswell. Any replays will be much appreciated thank you :) P.S configurated build is linked below in pictures

Any suggestions are welcome, thank you in advance : ) -
I just made the same post in the wrong category/fourm Can someone piece together a "high end" gaming PC (not really a pc.) for under $350 CAD? In reality it just needs to be a cpu (preferably 2018 or newer), mother board, ram (16G), NVMe ssd, and cooler (stock cooler is fine if applicable). I have a psu, and gpu, and will be building a desk PC so don't need a case. If multiple people want to provide their suggestions below it would be appreciated to have different choices to pick from.

advice Upgrading my home Workstation (3D modeling)
Bobberty posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Budget (including currency): € 1500 EUR Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Its primary use will be complex 3D modeling. Its also needs to be sufficient at making renderings and executing mesh based simulations of those models. The programs that i'm currently using for these task are called 'Solidworks' & 'Solidworks Visualize'. I would like to be able to play games like 'God of War' and 'Elden Ring' on it as well. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Bobbertys/saved/#view=BxQFZL I want to replace my case and extend my SSD memory. My current case is very loud and has horrendous air flow, so out of fair that it will suffocate my components im looking for a replacement. Besides the case i wanted to have some more fast memory available to me. I'm not really knowledgeable on the subject of PC part so i was looking for some advice for upgrading my PC. Besides the memory and case im open for any other suggestions relating to part that are maybe lacking, as i said i don't really know what is good and what isn't. Thank you very much. (Btw the case wasn't $370 dollar when i bought it more then 2 years ago. it was $77 at that time) -

Hey, as you may or may not know, I'm building a PC for the first time and I need some help The only games I plan on running are Space Engineers, and Cities Skylines My current budget is $800 (Preferably including windows) CPU - Intel i5 6500 - $205 Graphics card - EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB - $200 RAM - 8-16GB of RAM (4x2, 4x4, or 8x2?) Case - Corsair spec 02 - $60 Motherboard - Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel H170 Micro ATX DDR4 Motherboard (GA-H170M-D3H) - $90 PSU - Rosewill 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Power Supply ATX12V / EPS12V 550 Power Supply Hive-550 - $55 Memory - 1 TB HDD (WD Caviar Blue)- $50 Toshiba OCZ Trion 150 120GB 2.5" 7mm SATA III Internal Solid State Drive TRN150-25SAT3-120G - $40 Additional things: Yes I know that the PSU is bad but I can't find anything good without breaking the budget to much, so it would be nice if you recommended a good once around ~$60 dollars (I want to keep the budget low) I know the 6GB is better, but that is around and extra $50-60 dollars, and the performance is only like 9%-10% better (and it's like 25%-30% higher in price) Also does anyone know if theres a good way to get Word and Office cheap? -Sincerely, Quantum

So, i have a large empty room, that is designated to be a living room / lounge... I was thinking more a home cinema then a living room, its a long room with the size (guestimate) of 10ft x 18ft. I was thinking of 4k projector + media center, any other ideas?

The budget for the build is £1300 and it will be used for both heavy gaming and work in game engines. The idea behind having a Mini ITX form factor is simply convenience and lack of space as I'll be moving accommodation yearly and have no idea how much space will be available to me (and the occasional LAN of course). I want to start building as soon as possible as now I've finished exams and want to get to ha Here is a very rough and early draft up of what I'm thinking of buying, but I'm open to suggestions and would love to get some discussions going. In all honestly I'm a little out of touch as it's been a good few years since I've upgraded my PC. Pease note that I will be throwing in an 250GB SSD too, but seeing as I already purchased it I haven't listed it in the price. Also, ideally I'd like to get all of the parts from Amazon UK where possible. Hello fellas, I figured I would come to you guys for some input. It seems like at least once a night my pc will randomly crash while I'm using it, even in non extensive applications. I have a ryzen 7 3800x with 32gb of 3600mhz ddr4 and running a rtx 2080 ti but I also have a 1600w psu. And running absolutely no over clocks on anything but it will still crash at random times. Any thoughts?

So my friend has a daughter who like minecraft. the thought was that a Minecraft server is something not every grade school kid has and my friend has spare old PCs lying around. the baddest unused machine he has is a 3770k with a 4 pipe plate cooler, (it looks ok. May need repaste) with 4x4 1333 ddr3 for 16gig ram, an asus p877-V motherboard, and some mechanical hard drives of unknown size. its stock atm. We can throw an overclock on it I suspect but it won’t be massive. It’s got a windows 10 liscense. There are several older GPUs available, but the biggest is a 7950. it beats minimum spec, but doesn’t hit maximum spec particularly in GHZ. How good would it be at it? What can be expected? What does it need?

Does this budget build look alright? This will also be my first build overall. And more importantly, would all these parts work together? I'm very new to this, so I'd love some input and assistance. I'll be looking to upgrade in the future as well, but for now I'm hoping to get a workable gaming rig for some very basic stuff. I don't need it to play the latest AAA titles or anything. Budget (including currency): $2500 USD Country: United States of America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly Gaming: Fallout, Arma 3, FS2020, X Plane, DCS, VR, Squad, KSP 2 (hopefully soon!) etc. - Music Production: Ableton 10, Pro tools, FLstudio - Maybe some CAD programs in the future like NX12 or solidworks but that's not a main priority. Other details I would like peripherals to be included in the cost. I assume I will need to purchase a windows license too. Eventually I would like to upgrade these peripherals to a multi monitor setup with HOTAS for flight simulators like DCS world but for now Id just like one nice monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I can't decide between 1440 or 1080. Anyways, I have never built a PC before but I am not afraid to try! I am just very intimidated by the process of selecting which components are going to be in the build and sorting out compatibility. My budget is pretty firm but I would like to buy once and cry once so to speak, so going slightly over budget isn't automatically a deal breaker. I would like to build this PC as a devoted gaming rig as the only programs other than games I may run for any significant period of time would be DAWs and other music production software. I guess the standard request is to maximize my performance as much as possible while leaving some room for potential future upgrades to try to fight my machine being obsolete after a few years. As I stated previously, the only taxing upgrade I plan on getting in the future is a better set of monitors but for now I only need one. I am not sure what other details may be relevant to help you all make your suggestions but please let me know if you happen to have any questions. I really appreciate the help and look forward to reading your suggestions! EDIT: I wanted to add that I will have to transport this PC in long car rides occasionally so I was wondering if there is any hardware made to increase the number of mounting points between heavy components in the case and the case itself. My concern is that if I hit a bump in the road the mounting point for something like the cpu cooler or the graphics card may break due to the jostling. Please let me know if you have any ideas!

I'm currently working on an iMac. I primarily do audio production but I also do light photo and video editing (all 1080 short videos). I also play minecraft which hasn't been the best experience on my iMac. I've looked into AMD because of the price vs. performance. I came across what I thought was a deal. I purchased an MSI B450 Gaming Plus max motherboard for $80 on craigslist. Not sure if this was a good deal or. Because of this purchase I'm starting to plan my build. I've started on PC part picker. I'm just looking for advice on whether or not i'm on the right bath or being an idiot! Thanks for any help! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ppw6zN
