  1. Hi, I'm quite new to PC Building, so i want to ask some of you to help me rate and enhance my PC build to be even better, (btw: i'm not palnning on buying pc parts anytime soon) My Budget: max of $1000 I'm From Indonesia, so you might see some brand that is not familiar to you, But don't worry since most of them i already checked myself and i'm sure of their quality. So here's my build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 3.7Ghz Up To 5.0Ghz Cache 32MB 65W AM5 [Tray] MOBO: MSI PRO B650M-P (AM5, AMD B650, DDR5, USB3.2 Type-C, SATA3) Storage: Kingston SSD NV2 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 RAM: Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 5200MHz (PC41600) 16GB (2x8GB) - KF552C40BBAK2-16 VGA: XFX Speedster SWFT 309 Radeon RX 6700 XT CORE 12GB GDDR6 - RX-67XTYJFDV Case: CUBE GAMING LINSEL BLACK - mATX - SIDE TEMPERED GLASS - PSU COVER - Dust Filter - FREE 2PCS 12CM RGB FAN CPU Cooler: CUBE GAMING STORM V2 - SINGLE FAN 12CM ARGB - Universal Socket (AM5 Ready) PSU: Antec ATOM B650 - 650W 80+ Bronze Certified - Flat Cable Networking: TP - Link 150 Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter + Antenna - TL-WN722N Extra Fan: CUBE GAMING FIX Black - Rainbow 12CM FAN Total Price (Rupiah/Dollar): Rp13.386.000,00/$894.2 I'm Also planing on getting a Brand new LG Ultragear 165Hz monitor and a Redragon K617 Mechanical Keyboard, but it will be over my budget just a bit, so if there is any stuff that i need to know of please leave me a heads up, that will be greatly appriciated
  2. Budget (including currency): The cheapest I can go without changing too much. Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Office work, and video editing, lot's of tabs. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am not going AMD, and need the: 1030, 27" monitor (model or brand is not important), Fractal North, and need the accessories (keyboard, mouse, speakers, webcam, and cable.) I built this on PC Part Picker, but couldn't make it cheaper. I haven't built a PC so don't now if some of my parts are over the top. CPU: Intel Core i3-12100F 3.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($119.00 @ Amazon Canada) Motherboard: MSI PRO B760-P WIFI DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard ($204.99 @ Canada Computers) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($64.99 @ Canada Computers) Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($224.99 @ Canada Computers) Video Card: Gigabyte GV-N1030D4-2GL GeForce GT 1030 DDR4 2 GB Video Card ($99.99 @ Canada Computers) Case: Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower Case ($199.99 @ Canada Computers) Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($139.99 @ Canada Computers) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home Retail - USB 64-bit ($140.00 @ Amazon Canada) Case Fan: NZXT F120Q 64 CFM 120 mm Fan ($24.99 @ Amazon Canada) Monitor: Dell S2721NX 27.0" 1920 x 1080 75 Hz Monitor ($183.74 @ Best Buy Canada) Speakers: Creative Labs Pebble 2.0 4.4 W Speakers ($32.99 @ Canada Computers) Webcam: Logitech C270 Webcam ($29.99 @ Canada Computers) Custom: Insignia 1.2m (4 ft.) 4K Ultra HD HDMI Cable - Only at Best Buy ($19.99 @ Best Buy Canada) Custom: Wave Keys MK760 Combo ($99.99 @ Logitech) Total: $1585.63 (CAD) Thanks for any help I may receive!
  3. I think I need to retire my 7800 ATI from 10 years ago, its starting to freeze at times when I play and last time it caused my SSD to freeze and damage the windows startup (at least that's my guess). I usually buy from Amazon and other online stores so also any offers on those sites would work. Budget (including currency): 300-400 dollars Country: Mexico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: daily driver, remote work (RemotePC and etc), indie games a maybe some AAAs from 2015 haha. Other details (
  4. Budget (including currency): 400USD at minimum can go as high as 500$USD ( 5.700K IDR) Country: INDO Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Writing. mostly VALORANT . and indie game Other details : no need for monitor and Mouse and keyboard just the PC...... but if the monitor can fit then at least 1080p LED IPS. 60fps its okay
  5. Budget (including currency): preferably 900 or less Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mostly heavy programs like Autodesk and Unity but also small games. Other details: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/n4VGp2 is this set up good for what I'm trying to get? I've never made a desktop so will it also be reliable? is there anything that needs to be upgraded or is it fine as is?
  6. Budget (including currency): $500-$700 USD Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Premiere Pro/After Effects, Witcher 3, AC Odyssey, and other games like these. Other details: I recently saw the "Building a $500 AMD Gaming PC" (at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dEfc9LL9bQ&ab_channel=LinusTechTips) and while I know GPU prices are skyrocketing, I want to at least hypothetically work with that build in mind. A couple caviats from the original build list is that I don't need a HDD (I have many many extras laying around), and I would need a 500GB SSD. My main question is: will that build allow for a smooth experience editing 4k video in Premiere Pro? I can see that it gets 60fps in the games that he showed which is awesome, but would there be anything I would have to change/upgrade specifically to make it more of an editing PC? For editing, I would be editing 4k videos and exporting 4k and 1080p, but my monitors will be 1080p. I have no need for higher (and all the monitors I have are 1080p). I will be utilizing 3 monitors for the most part. Please don't include monitors or periphreals in your responses, as I have no need for new ones. For gaming, I'd like to have 1080/60p at high graphics for the titles I mentioned. Also, if VR is possible, please let me know. It's not a requirement, but it would be cool to have the ability to run those titles. I have past experience building PCs, however I have no experience actually picking out the parts that work together. The PCs I've built were for someone who bought all the parts, and I just put them together, not to mention that these were early 2010s PCs, so I'm pretty far removed from the current market. I currently have a 2013 Macbook Pro Core i7, 16GB Ram, Nvidia Geforce GT 750M 2GB. I use it for all my editing. It works great for 1080/30 editing, and mediocre for 1080/60/120. It's okay for 4k/30 editing, but once I add in a 2nd camera, it's crap. Even with playback at 1/8 resolution, I get smooth playback for like 30 seconds, then my computer overheats and throttles and I get 1 fps playback with sound cut off. Also, export times are super long, but that's less of a problem. After Effects on the other hand is very odd, I can open other people's projects and I can export them (albeit taking forever to export), but when I try to make an animation myself, it freezes even worse than Premiere. Basically any moving edits are a no no. I am not rushing to buy, but I would like to start this search and get all your opinions. Thanks!
  7. Budget (including currency): $1000-$1200 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: This PC will be tasked daily with gaming, and light coding and school work, as well as streaming pc games or console games. And including editing videos/music. In all a well rounded pc. Games Valorant Warzone GTA 5 Other details: I currently have no PC setup and starting from zero up, I am looking to build my second PC. Though it has been two years and I've been out the loop with up to date tech. As far as peripherals go, that is not needed. I plan to to begin this build within the next two weeks before I return to college. My desired aspects for this build are to do anything from gaming, editing and coding/school work(well rounded). I plan to stream with this setup so I am looking to run a game at high settings at a consistent 145+ FPS minimum or if 240+ FPS if achievable at this budget. And as far as off stream to run consistent as well. I am currently exploring new hobbies and interested in editing music and photos/graphic design, I am unaware of any programs at the moment but I do plan to immerse myself and learn with this PC build. Lastly if possible I would I would enjoy a mostly white build and Black, Silver, Gray or Blue are allowed as well. But I do wanna emphasize that I will value Performance > Aesthetic as my goal is most bang for buck, but future proofing would also be appreciated. PSA: I'm Extremally sorry If I am asking for too much, I am just a bit behind on all this tech and really have been needing some help. Thank you to anyone and everyone in advance I am looking forward to see the builds people submit for me.
  8. Budget (including currency): 20,000 - 25,000 MXN (1,000 - 1,250 USD) Country: Mexico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Current (Genshin Impact), After GPU upgrade (Apex Legends, Warframe, Small size CAD, Matlab, programing and Proteus designs as a hobbyist) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): This is my first PC build, coming from gaming on Xbox One, I actually managed to get some help in discord but tried to do at the end a downgrade for the GPU from a 3060 for $10000 MXN (about $500 USD) to a Radeon RX 550 for $3000 MXN ($150 USD). I want to know if it's possible to run Genshin Impact and some other light games while I save some extra money and then just upgrade the GPU. I did this change because right now I don't have a monitor that can take advantage of this specs, just old ones (the type that only have VGA-15 pin ports) so the money I'm currently saving from that to get a decent monitor. The plan is to upgrade to a GeForce RTX 3060 ($500 USD) when they're on stock and at a reasonable price. All the current prices are from this site: https://www.cyberpuerta.mx/ And my currency is the mexican peso MXN (1 USD ~ 20 MXN), I'm still leaving a dollar conversion but the prices may vary a little bit. I'm also taking monitor suggestions. 9. Hi a tech newb here, I'm considering in upgrading from a laptop to a desktop due to performance cap at the moment. I'm a bioinformatics student and atm have a Asus A541U (i5-7200u, GeForce 920m and 8gb) and at the internship i'm going through now I will need more power due to the applications I'm using. Right now I was thinking going with a budget of 700~800€ for the machine and probably 200€ for one or two monitors that I'll need (the rest I have it now). The main idea of this build is to buy now something better and then upgrade when needed. I'll also play games on it (like Borderlands, GTAV, Minecraft, etc.) but don't really care the high end specs, i'm ok with 60fps and 1080p (FHD?) resolution and graphics. The "default" specs I am looking for is 16GB ram, an half decent CPU( I'm looking towards AMD 2600 or 3600 but still hesitant about it because of lack of research), a half decent GPU( been looking around the GTX 1050 all the way until 1660Super and comparing with each other and such) and at least a SSD for OS and an HDD for regular storage (docs, games etc). The monitors also don't need to be that OP, just one or two simple FHD monitors capable to handle 60FPS without any issue for multitasking during work. I haven't looked at any yet. I've been searching around this forum and youtube for the last couple days and came up with the following specs right now: PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor (€134.90 @ Globaldata) Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard (€100.90 @ Globaldata) Memory: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (€79.90 @ Globaldata) Storage: Crucial BX500 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (€44.90 @ Globaldata) Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€62.90 @ Globaldata) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB AERO ITX OC Video Card (€252.90 @ Globaldata) Power Supply: EVGA BR 500 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply Total: €676.40 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-04-24 17:35 CEST+0200 Note all prices are for Portugal( Where I live), and in this site there isn't any PSU nor cases with listed prices( as far i've searched) so i'm considering that this will go to around 750€

My first rig was a combination of both rigs. Then I bought the i7, the Asus motherboard, and the Vengeance RAM off of someone I went to school with. Decided that justified buying a few more parts to build a second rig. No use in having spare parts lying around in my opinion. The case for the first rig is a Rosewill Nautilus. It was featured in a LTT budget build. I have various other storage drives as well. My main concern is the graphics card. I bought the RX 580 for my spare rig, but I ended up putting it in my better rig. I have researched both cards. The RX 580 has more VRAM, but the RX 290 has more bus bandwidth (I believe thats what it was. It has been awhile since I researched it). I didn't know if this should be in the same post or if I should make another. I also wanted to to set up RAID for my rigs, but I dont even know where to start. I want to be able to restore a drive if one fails because they are getting pretty old. They have gone with me to college dorms and back. Haha. I have 3 hard drives of various sizes in the second rig(as well as the SSD listed in the PCPP list). I have 1 hdd in my first build. Not as worried about the data on that computer though. P.S. Just graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelors in Software Engineering. Yay me! Wish me luck on my job search! It'll be hard with current events.

Please be kind, This will be my real first rig, Before I have experiment for building Another People PCs that he buy the parts and send them to me for build it. Thanks everyone!
  13. I want to build something that can run Final Cut Pro too, (Which I've used in my ancient MacBook Pro, And it keeps crashing because the CPU is bottle-necked.) (That mean This rig needs to be Hackintosh-Compatible, And I have my macbook and that's mean I can obtain a Legal Copy of macOS, Which I know how to do it.) I have My SSD and 2TB HDD already, For this build, No Monitor or any gears included. (For gears to go with I have another 300 Euro for spending on this, You guys can suggest me what I should go with.) Ah, And I stay in Germany. I can't Follow the 500$ Budget PC Guide and specs, The price here it's a pit overpriced. LOL.

  15. Hey, guys so I really want to start playing video games again but I'm having trouble. I recently found a gtx 560ti, a evga nforce 680i sli motherboard, a core 2 duo, and a case. I know this is really old computer hardware but I don't want to wait to save for a brand new build. I was wondering if I could buy a h110m motherboard, a corsair cx500, and use the core 2 duo e8500 and 560ti with an ssd together? Just to get started. Later on I'm planning to get a gtx 1060 or 1070 and upgrading to a core i5 6500. What do you guys think? if it helps, I'll be using a stick of 8gb ddr4 as well.
  16. I've been trying to get the best out of my APU, since according to my research APU has no upgrade path. I just want to upgrade the GPU and I'm wondering what GPU would be the best for this without any bottlenecks? AMD A8-7600 8gb ram - 1600mhz
  17. I have a budget of >600$. Mostly played games are League of Legends, Guild wars 2, World of Tanks and Paladins. I am interested in buying some other games like Doom and Battlefield 1 and would like to build a PC that can run them very smoothly. I have been struggling with the choice of the CPU's, GPU's (because I don't really know which ones are good these days, I'm a bit rusty). For ram memory, I was thinking 1x 8Gb Kingston hyper X fury, and I can't decide which storage to take, 250Gb SSD or a 1Tb HDD. But putting ram and storage aside, CPU and GPU are my most 2 biggest concerns, because I would like to build a configuration that allows me to play those games smoothly and to capture the video of the gameplay, as well as video editing. Do you think something like that is possible to make, what are your thoughts and if you can help me I would very much appreciate it. Thank you. I've been playing around with PC part picker and configured this but I don't know if it is any good https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GmZfjc
  18. I would like some help in building my own first gaming pc. My budget is around 500$, because the prices here in Croatia are more expensive than around the globe. Let's just say for an average pc builder in UK/USA with around 500$ budget I can get that same build for about 600$. It's a sad reality, but anyway, I have a link below from pc part picker for my beginner build and I would like to hear opinions, why something is better and advices on some changes in my build. Thank you very much. Oh and yes, the games i mostly play are: Guild wars 2, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Doom, Battlefield 1 and World of Tanks. 19. My phone recently got a nice cold shower into the ocean , and although all attempts to bring it back to life, the touch screen doesnt work , therefore my budget is dropped down to 1400 euroes. What i want for my pc is listed down here : i7-7700k gtx 1070 SSD (atleast) 120gb HDD (atleast) 2tb psu-gold certified (prob RMX corsair) Do note that i live in europe and therefore prices here a bit steep , so here: https://www.skroutz.gr/ i will leave a site for you to check what prices i will pay , although it is in greek you can still insert the product in english and find out the price. Also , if you bother to do this for me (ty btw) add everything necessary for the pc to function ( internet tablet , mobo , gpu , psu , fans , case , cooling , audio etc etc..) because i go to sites where they give out some decent builds in euro/performance prices , i can not find internet tablets or fans or even cooling which are extremely important for the pc to operate. Thanks in advance
  20. Earlier I posted a topic and after some advice I decided to use this. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RppG8K Although I got many people to say it was good I just l want to make sure that this is good enough to run most of the games I want to play. Thanks for any help!
  21. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X6cpf8 Hi everyone! I am wondering if this build is a good budget pc or if I can make any improvements or changes without changing the price too much. Thanks in advance!
  22. Greetings LTT Community! I built my first budget PC last week with a budget of $500 and I will use this to play some games while doing some light video/photo editing. I just want to ask you guys to review it, and tell whether it was worth what I paid for. Thanks! Specifications: Ryzen 1200 GTX 1050 MSI A320M (MOBO) 8GB RAM (2400mhz) 1TB HDD A case that I got from my brother (FREE) ? If you're wondering that I could get better parts with $500 dollars, my real currency is in peso. Therefore the components costs double when I grab either a 1300x or a 1050 ti for some strange reason.
  23. Hey guys i already posted at the gpu section but might as well write the whole build. So i'm from Georgia (the country) (not the state) it's under Russia, above turkey, next to the black seas... yeah... yeah... that's the one. so currently i've got ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5KPL-AM (Socket 775) motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz Wolfdale 45nm Technology 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 800mhz Evga gtx 460 v2 1gb gddr5 192bit Vcard (it's pretty good, it's as powerful as gtx650 1gb if not better) 298GB SAMSUNG HD322HJ ATA Device (SATA ) 500w EVGA PSU 768p monitor 60hz it's pretty sh*t i know, so that's why i decided to upgrade from socket 775 to any other one (thinking of 1155) my budget is probbobly around 500lari(ლარი) that's about 185USD (for the record i'm not thinking of building completly new pc just "upgrading" (meaning i'm sticking with 500wpsu,298gb HDD and might stick with gtx460 dunno). so here's what i'm planing: 1155 socket Mboard it's price range varies between 80lari(ლარი) $30 to 120lari(ლარი) $45 i3 or i5 (i found i3 - 3240 for 70lari(ლარი) $26 and i5 - 2500k for 110lari(ლარი) $41) so as i said i might stick with gtx460, but someone told me,on the gpu section, where i asked which was better gtx660 2gb or gtx750ti which are about 150lari(ლარი) $55 (i was thinking of buying one for a time) , to opt for either gtx950 170-180lari(ლარი) $63-67 or gtx960 180-200lari(ლარი) $67-75, so what's your opinion about that ? 8gb ddr3 ram (which i couldn't found for bargain it's mostly round 100lari(ლარი) $37) i'm sticking with my 500w psu and with mt 768p monitor, i just don't need a fullHD one or something like that, i'm pretty happy with what i've got ^^ so the price range is between 400lari(ლარი) $150 to 520lari(ლარი) $193 so you might think $43 difference isn't much but for me 120ლარი is pretty big number (more like medium size but still :d) i'll be using it for gaming though i'm just a player ;_; (i don't play too much games, but) i'll be playing more open world games such as Assassin's Creed series and GTA V of course, i'm crazy about AC though, i might play some shooter too like Battelfied 1 really intrigues me newer one i don't really like that much. TBH i'm alright playing a game with 30fps at768p medium-high settings, but if i'll be able to play a game with more fps at high-very high setting high you wont find any man happier than me. thank you, good bye, have a good one... P.S for those who think this isn't that much capable system i can play Gta v with 768p mostly low just reflections, water at high and also anisotropic filtering x16 oh and fxaaon msaax2 (the reason being the gpu it really is an old beast i could find it for cheap for 100lari $37,before that i had gt610 1gb (it couldn't paly sh*t) and this old 460 was a fresh air for me only thing was that cpu was bottelnecking it was mostly at 99% usage and gpu was at 20-35% that's why i put a few setting up gpu suage got from that to 65%, i was playing it visync-on at 30fps most of the times, though it dipped to lower 20s to high 10s (dual channel cpu was the problem i guess) that's why at first i wanted to get a good 775 cpu like quad q9650 or something but i though it wouldn't be more capable of upgrading and might as well buy a newer socket Mboard (Assassin's creed Origins and Odissey were probably the reason as well it not being reales on socket775). i aslo could play Assassin's creed IV Black Flag at 768p medium with round 30fps. i don't know why i wrote all these but it may help you some day, just a return for your suggestions or help, more info, so yeah that's it, goodbye for now... P.S.S i 'd like to go for more intel and nvidea product i know the amd and all of thole other companies product are good as well, but i jsut don't get it, i'd prefer intel cpus and nvidea gpus
