I recently went to purchase one of the new series controllers to replace my old xb1 s controller, and i am trying to play multiple games, and the connection is, well, just weird, kinda hard to explain as well. I run with bluetooth connection to my pc from my controller, and the connection itself seems to work fine, but for some reason it seems to detect that there is a second controller connected, when there isnt. I have tried playing 2 totally different games with this controller. in WWE 2K19, the game is fine, but it labels my buttons as 1234 instead of ABXY, and thinks there is a second controller connected as well, causing the menus to skip over when i use the dpad or sticks to navigate. Then i tried LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and i couldn't even progress because it thought i had a 2P instead of a COM, so the 2nd character was not moving whatsoever. my series x controller has the newest firmware, yet it still does this, so if anyone knows what's causing this, please help a fellow gamer out :) Thanks -
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro WiFi External Card: Gigabyte GC-WBAX210 Problem breakdown: Motherboard has integrated WiFi and Bluetooth Bought a WiFi 6E Router Bought a WiFi 6E card which includes Bluetooth Removed the antenna used for the integrated WiFi and Bluetooth Windows seems to still be using the integrated Bluetooth I'm pretty sure it must be using the integrated Bluetooth as my devices disconnect pretty frequently due to the missing antenna. How can I force Windows 10 to use the Bluetooth from the installed card and not the integrated one?

source: http://www.bbc.com/news/business-38141510 a bit of a backstory into the debacle: back in 2006, BT (British Telecom) was ordered by Ofcom (UK's telecom regulator) to separate the retail business from its infrastructure business - thus OpenReach was born OpenReach connects nearly every household and businesses via it's national broadband and telephone infrastructure BT's rivals, Sky and TalkTalk campaigned for OpenReach to be legally separated from BT's gasp July 2016 - Opcom toys with the idea of the separation but doesn't pull the trigger, instead instructs BT with mandatory changes they need to do with OpenReach November 2016 - Opcom's instructions were not met and now concludes OpenReach needs to be legally separated from BT, with Openreach becoming a distinct company within the BT group

This comes up when i try to connect to my JBL extreme, i have bluetooth 2.0 i think, i ordered some random usb adapter from ebay. And now the JBL is asking for a pw. Ive read that the pw is 0000, but it doesnt work. It only says try connecting again.

I recently built a pc and I want to connect my pc wired, so I bought and Ethernet cable and I found out my connector is wrong in the wall. I have a female BT end and with an adapter to an rj11 I think where as my cable is an rj45 I don't want to make a new socket in the wall so can change the BT socket to an rj45 or can I get an rj11 to rj45 adapter, although I've not seen one.

My RPi 3 says no bluetooth adapter is detected and therefore won't let me connect to a device. I kinda need bluetooth and I don't want to spend money on an adapter when it's BUILT RIGHT IN!

Hi all, Recently purchased a pair of Audio-technica Bluetooth heaphones (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/40335?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvd2psoyA3QIVBbaWCh2TBAxvEAQYASABEgLFf_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) and they're really nice. My desktop was custom built and didn't come with any Bluetooth capabilities. Wanted to ask what the best solution would be for the best sound quality when connecting these to my Desktop over bluetooth. I've seen some semi-cheap wireless dongles, but wanted to know the easiest and best solution to use these with my PC... Hey, i have a rather stupid question. I am using my Sony WH-1000XM2 as mobile Headphones and I‘ve been wondering if it‘s possible to use them via BT with my PC as „Headset“. Aka. Sound+Mic from it. Since my PC has no Bluetooth itself I‘d obviously need an adapter for it but I know exactly nothing about them and don‘t know what to buy if it‘s possible.... can someone help me?

Hi guys, So i was wondering if there was a way to force certain bluetooth-connected devices to be recognized as usb-connected? The idea is that, for example, PS4 remote play program only recognizes joystick when it's connected either via usb, or wirth their costly bt dongle which doesnt have much use outside of it. Googling gave nothing and i'm a noob when it comes to programming. I guess there might be a way to substitute some files to recognize all the non-pci devices as bt, but that would take some serious os interference, so, you know, ask a friend first.

Hey there, I've been trying couple of so-called "over-ear" BT headphones from Amazon, JBL E50BT. some Phillips headphone for 40 bucks, one from "Anker" with great reviews and couple other I can't remember. They all s*cked, mainly because they weren't really "over-ear" (like the JBL which rested on my ears on top and bottom), or because they put a lot of pressure on my jaw (like the "Anker" and Phillips). My main concern is comfort, I have to be able to carry them multiple hours a day without pain. I don't care that much about sound quality and I don't want no super-boom-beats-bass. Battery life doesn't need to be very long. I don't want to wear them doing sports. I'm looking for maximum sized ear pads that may isolate a bit from outside noise, are very comfortable and don't hurt me. Preferably under $100. Please help me, I got a chronic disease and my neighbours drive me nuts with all the noise (yeah, I've talked to them already, but little luck). Thanks, Markuess.

Hey, To begin with, I'm on BT in the UK, and we're on Infinity(1) which is copper broadband usually fetching around 16/2mbps. Recently however (for the past 2 days) the connection has been particularly shaky, especially when there is many devices on the network. It's 11:20pm here at the moment, and I'm currently fetching around 374ms (lowest) to well +1000ms through 4.4.2.2 with frequent timeouts and similar to 8.8.8.8, which I can remember as having a baseline of 28ms usually. I'm wondering why this is. My sister recently purchased a laptop which I thought was the reason why, as for some reason Office 365 was using 1.5mbps of our upload bandwidth whilst installing last night, and I assumed that was the reason why the internet was in this state. But it's carrying on today, and I installed it earlier today. I even went to the extent of turning it off via BT Access Control (for some reason mac blocking isn't allowed in Home Hubs) and the ping didn't differ. The only time when the ping did differ is when I turned off the WiFi transmitters altogether, which returned it to the 28ms baseline. It's confusing me as we don't have any particularly high priority devices in the house. All there is, is my sister and mum's phones (4s and 5s), a 1st Gen Chromecast, my sister's PC (a Lenovo with "high speed" internet), my OnePlus X running CyanogenMod and my personal computer, which is running through a length of Cat5e. I was also watching a twitch stream earlier, at source (which draws about 5mbps) with my sister and mother out, and so there being basically no activity on the network. It buffered which is odd, as the 16mbps connection we have should be plenty enough to stream twitch, and I have done so comfortably before these two days. Also, if this is anything of note, a device earlier with a foreign mac address connected to our 2.4GhZ transmitter, with an "unknown" tag with it, usually associated with android devices like my OPX or other uncommon networking devices. I quickly access blocked it permanently and it later left our WiFi, however that hasn't resolved our issue whatsoever. I'm pinging again at the end of writing this, and the results I've got are this: C:\Users\nathl>ping 8.8.8.8 -t Pinging 8.8.8.8 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Hey guys I have an I-Ball Pulse Blootooth Headphone . I like it very much . I recently found a magnet (5-6 cm long , width of 1-2 cm and height of 2-3 cm) which is kinda powerful lying around in my house . Is it safe to hang my Blootooth headphone on the magnet . Im addicted to my ATH-IM02 sound signature, it's like drugs to me,well not really but i never get tired of that kind of sound signature Well now i need a Bluetooth solution,and the jaybirds definitely isnt my type.I need a set that sounds similar to my wired ones. But i did see people selling Bluetooth wires,so it connects to my earphones and it does bluetooth, they say it lasts awhile.. Should i try those? Or is there a bluetooth solution.. Dont wanna spend a bomb either. Thanks babes

Hi I just got a BT Home Hub 2 from a garage sale for £5 I tried to use it as an access point but no luck. What can I do with it. It is a TYPE A and I dont want to do any Jtaging or soldering. Thanks. Alex

I wondered if my internet was good? I play a lot of competitive games and livestream 1080p at 60fps quite often and there is never really any lag. I'm upgrading my BT broadband speeds, here is part of the email BT sent me: Your broadband will start by midnight on: 14 Dec 2015 How fast? We estimate your download speed will be between 45Mb and 66Mb, and your upload speed will be between 12Mb and 19Mb. The minimum guaranteed speed you can expect from your BT Infinity will be 35Mb. The top speed you can get from your broadband line depends on a number of things. To find out what they are, go to bt.com/aboutbroadbandspeed I don't have cable in my area, but when I move out that is the first thing I'm going to look for (I handle the internet as my parents don't really understand it) EDIT: After seeing everyone's responses I think my Wifi is pretty good, could be better but it's better than 75% of GB, that is very good :3

I built a computer today but have to wait until tomorrow to get WiFi. I have two options, WiFi card or an ethernet cable. Would a WiFi card be good enough for competitive gaming, and downloading large games (Fallout 4, Rainbow Six Siege etc. etc.), or should I get an ethernet cable, I'm only thirteen so I don't think I really need that level of speed, considering my family only gets 3Mb/s under what we pay for. Hi, I have decided to switch from TalkTalk as my connection keeps droping and we are not happy with some other changes and I am looking at BT. I was wondering if any of you have experience with BT (Infinity) what speeds you are getting, what you're meant to get, the experience of switching and if you get any dropouts or similar, thanks.

Hey there boys and girls, been a long time since I posted last and I hope someone can help. Right now I use my ISP's modem and router (BT Infinity 2 UK stuff) and it just seems to be really crappy. On both WiFi & LAN it seems to work fine for a couple days then it chugs along slowly until it dies and requires a complete power cycle of all the networking equipment. I'm thinking of replacing both those units with a combined VDSL modem and router, like either the ASUS DSL-N55U or TP-LINK TD-W9980. I know from checking out the ISP forums that the latter should work fine, however im checking if you lot would recommend a certain brand/model for reliability/usability or support reasons? Any help would be appreciated!

So I realised recently that my wifi speed seems to have dropped quite dramatically. Before I was getting download speeds in the double digits on my phone and laptop, now it seems it struggles to even load the app/website. Through an Ethernet cable it's fine, sometimes going into the 50's and I have't even moved the hub. I'm using a bt hub 3 if that makes a difference and I have tried resetting it and refreshing the wifi channels but still nothing seems to work. Is there some thing I could do in the settings? Or could I get some new router to boost it? I just ran a speed test and got 0.17mbps down and 0.73mbps up

I'm with BT (a UK ISP) and normally to connect to the router management to do port forwarding and stuff like that, I type in http://bthomehub.homeor my default gateway into the chrome address bar. However, recently I have not been able to access it. I don't know for how long this has been an issue since I haven't tried to access it in months, but chrome just says "This web page is not available" and in the details section it says the page took too long to respond. It also has my location wrong - when I go to Google Weather, it says I am located somewhere in London, when I'm pretty much on the other side of the country - this also was not an issue until recently. I have tried a full reset of my router and using a different browser, and a different PC and I am using a wired connection. I read on a forum that disconnecting the homeplugs fixed the problem for another person however after a bit of Googling I found nothing on what homeplugs are and how to disconnect them. I'd like to thank you all in advance for your responses.

I used this tutorial to install Bittorent Sync on my VPS: http://www.ruchirablog.com/install-configure-bittorrent-sync-server/ It's working fine except if I happen to restart VPS I have to login and start BT Sync manually. I know basics in console, but I don't know how to set up autostart or run it as server service. I have Virtuozzo Panel and Plesk. Can you help me out? Even by giving a link to general tutorial how to setup autorun on VPS. Thank you in advance! -
