Budget (including currency): Around $1000-$1500 ~ Rp15.000.000-20.000.000 Country: Indonesia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: For Youtube broadcast and multimedia use at the same time with only one PC for my church I'm planning to build a PC for my church and this PC will be used mainly for Youtube broadcasting 1080p camera feed with OBS and Propresenter and also for multimedia like showing slide show, song lyrics and etc. at the same time. I never build a PC before, and I wanna try to build one. My list of choice right now is: Ryzen 5 3600, Asrock B550M Phantom Gaming 4, GTX 1660 or RTX 2060, 16GB - 3600 RAM, Coolermaster elite 600 80+ , 500GB SSD probably WD, and Seagate Barracuda 2TB. and I haven't decide what case to put on. Can anyone recommend pc list that is suitable for church purposes like this. Any replies and help will be appreciated,

I am the general purpose video guy at my local church, My bread and butter is video production/editing (things like weekly news and whatnot) however we've recently started doing video broadcasting of live video from cameras around the stage during worship, to do this we use my canon 5Dmk3 and 60D, and 2 GoPro's. we use a Roland v-40HD for our video mixer because it's the best product for this at the budget I was given. The downside to it is that we only have 4 inputs, one being taken up by the PC that runs the lyrics(on a background we chromakey out), notices, and videos, That leaves 3 inputs for 4 cameras. We get around this by using a cheap 3 in one out switch, the kind you'd use to add ports to a TV, but this is passive, meaning that my cameras aren't handshaking until I select the specific input that they are on. This causes lag while the camera registers there's and input, sometimes they don't handshake at all so I have to click the next input and then go back to try again. It's super frustrating. I have been looking for a while but I can't find a cheap switch that will constantly keep all the ports active so it doesn't have to handshake over and over. Am I being dumb and using the wrong keywords in my search? or does such a product not exist? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey world, I know this may not technically be a pc question but it is PC related. So, I bought the Razer Serien Pro mic and I did not realize it is as big as it was. I DJ on line and for space saving purposes I use a boom arm and a Shockmount for my mic. However, the Seiren will not fit the shockmount I have and accord to the razer site and most 3rd party sites the shockmount for the Seiren is totally out of stock. There is international sites it is available on but they will not ship to the US so struck out there. So my question is does anyone know of any other shockmount that will fit the razor Seiren? I know Linustips has done reviews for the Seiren on youtube so because of that I hope someone can give me some ideas ty...Edward Welch

Alright so this one seems like a difficult problem to me but I am hoping some of you are going to say it is not a problem. Then again, maybe it could make a fun video! Background I and my Co-owner/Co-founder are trying to build a broadcasting network covering all things geeky. Much the same way ESPN covers sports or the Cooking Channel deals with food. As such we are recruiting multiple hosts to stream from multiple locations. So far issues have been minimal but, with the growth we expect to see soon, some things need to change. Currently in house (literally in my house), we have 3 pcs for streaming. Two that deal with the game play and one that handles OBS for our multiplayer games. Then when it is another streamer's turn to broadcast they simply go straight to Twitch using a streaming key. Unfortunately we have had to stop all recording at this time as our current storage solutions are full as well. We have gotten some push back from our community on this as some really good streams have been lost to the either. What I am looking for I would like a server of some kind that could (ideally) handle: Accepting streams from PCs around the world for input into OBS or a similar program Run OBS or a similar program to input overlays, and possibly multiple of these inputs at the same time and make them a cohesive stream. Much the way a news station takes input from in-studio feeds and multiple reporters. Broadcast at a decent quality to Twitch Record and save all streams Allow remote access for someone to operate OBS As cheap as possible. Unfortunately we are still very small and we are not making much from streaming so our budget is almost nothing. Suggestions I have gotten It was recommended that I simply setup a cheap computer to run an RTMP server and OBS. Possibly run that and a NAS for storage. Again my budget is very tight though so unless money drops out of the sky on me footing the bill for both is going to be very hard. Basically I'm wanting to know how well the Rx 580's hardware encoder does for game streaming, and especially at stream-able bitrates. Almost every search I do brings up results for video encoding & semi-pro workloads, or is doing recordings at 20+ Mbps bitrates. I'm currently on an R9 390 that basically sucks balls for hardware encoding (that's no real surprise). And I'm only running a 4 core/thread 4690K so I don't like using x264; leaving me with Quicksync or AMD's VCE option. I do use Quicksync fairly often, but the quality in FPS titles is just as bad as the 390's VCE is. I've got a little $$, and considering a 580 can be had for $169 right now, I'd be very tempted to 'side-grade' to it IF the encoding performance is improved. According the wiki, the R9 390 uses VCE 2.0 and the 580 uses VCE 3.4, but I can't find direct quality comparisons that are in the Twitch bitrate range. It's all local recordings at tens of Megabit rates. I really shouldn't be in the market for a GPU at all, but this kind of discount is amazing. So I can only justify something in the $200-or lower price range if the return on the investment is there. But I'll happily move along & wait for better options and financing if the streaming quality isn't up to par.

Hey guys, Just wondering what everyone uses for twitch broadcasting on pc? Does anyone know of anything like Geforce experience where it just captures kills and that sort of stuff? Looking for free and something that cost money if it does what Geforce experience does. I want to be able to have my kills record when I'm not playing like Geforce experience does with Shadowplay. The game I want to stream is not demanding. The specs to run the game are Windows 98SE or later versions, 1GHz Intel Processor, 512 Megabytes of RAM, recommended GeForce 2 video card or equivalent, and 5 Gigabytes of free disk space. Hello everyone, first of all I want to explain the situation I'm in. About a year ago I bought a Blue Mics Yeti microphone for use on my Twitch.tv livestream and it worked fine for a long time. But at some point it ended up becoming defective. The sound started sounding like it was blown up and very static-y. I contacted Amazon UK where I bought it from and got a replacement sent to me, but sadly that one had the exact same issue and I had to return it. Due to the way Amazon handles refunds and replacements, I could not get a third Yeti microphone sent to me. Instead I got a full refund. So now I'm sitting here trying to find a new microphone that does the job just as well, or better and is in the same price range as the Yeti. I currently have a Blue Mics Snowball but I don't really like the way the microphone sounds. I want something that makes my voice sound a little more deep and bass-y. Do you guys have any suggestion as to what microphone fits my criteria? Or is the Yeti truly the best option in this price range? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I recently got myself a new graphics card (Asus GTX970) and as I was testing out my games I got the idea of recording my gameplay. So as any excited person would do I opened up my software of choice (Open Broadcasting Software) and started to record. In seconds I got the message that my CPU was running high and the recording had alot of lag, the game I was recording only gained a little bit of lag but it was annoying to play. The only game I can record tho is World of Warcraft running at high settings, but I still a little bit of in-game lag and lag in my footage. So this is my build: I don't know what motherboard I have but it has a AM3+ socket AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.00GHz Asus GTX970 4G OC Edition 8G of Corsair DDR3 1TB of HDD and 500G of SSD (i don't know the other parts) And as I already mentioned I'm recording with Open Broadcasting Software at 720p. So yeah, can somebody please help me with this problem? I don't necesseraly wanna buy a new CPU if I can record with the one I have, but i'm willing to upgrade my computer if needed. - The Supreme Reptile
