Specifications: Board: MSI ProB660M-E DDR4 Ram: XPG 8x2 3600 Cpu: i3 1200 Gpu: 1050 4gb My gpu suddenly had this problem this morning, when I pressed on the power button it powers up but then it instantly shuts down after some seconds before even the monitor starts and continues to bootloop like that forever. I have already tried taking out the gpu and plugging it into the CPU, it works just fine like that with no issues. And I also tried cleaning the slot on the mother board and the GPU. It was working just fine before. And always shuts down on the cpu light, whys that? 20240201_204253.mp4

I was using my old laptop as a source for my tv when it randomly shut down, when tried restarting it went to the windows loading screen and just kept loading till the spinny icon disappeared then just stayed there with the windows logo, I shut it down and restarted, that time I got a boot OS selection menu(I have only windows) after which it showed the windows logo then BSOD with artifacts (pic attached) Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15r 5537 I7 4500u Radeon hd8670m 8gb ram 240gb ssd The GPU seemed to be already failing for a while cuz I would get artifacts in some games I had gotten bsod before(same error code) but it would just restart and be fine P.s. the white stripe on the left is cuz my screen is broken at that side

Hi! Info: PREAVIUSLY Graphics card: RX 570 RS XXX Edition 8GB GDDR5 Processor: Ryzen 3 3100, 3.6 GHz, 16 MB Motherboard: Asrock B450M Pro4 R2.0 Ram: Patriot Viper 4, DDR4, 8 GB, 3000MHz, CL16 Power supply: Thermaltake Smart RGB 500W UPGRADED Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Eagle OC 12GB GDDR6 Processor: Ryzen 7 5700X, 3.4 GHz, 32 MB Ram: Lexar Thor, DDR4, 16 GB, 3200MHz, CL16 I just upgraded my pc, (I flashed the bios to v5.30 before powering on with new components). Now to the point, I replaced my processor and gpu and everything worked fine (updated every driver). I played some games, watched the temps if there were any signs of overheating (this was my second time working on a computer) everything looked fine. After something like 4 hours after replacing the parts I noticed that in cpu-z my ram frequencies were set at some low numbers so i restarted and in the bios I changed the frequencies and "boosted" the dram voltage from 1.2(factory) to 1.3, after exiting the bios I watched some youtube and launched apex legends. Something like 5 minutes later the pc bluescreened with "Kernel Security Check Failure". So I tried to restart, then the problems began, PC went into constant boot loop without the cpu fans spinning (not even posting anything just the light on gpu turns on fans spin for smth like 15 seconds then it shutdowns and restarts), I powered it off "unplugged" the 2 ram sticks and tried them seperetly on every slot with single/dual channel (it didn't work ;p). I took out the battery from the motherboard and held down power button for 15 seconds and let it sit for around 10 minutes. After that all of the fans started working (cpu, gpu and 2 exhaust and intake fans) but the problem with boot looping persisted. Also tried unplugging the gpu and trying to get something out of the cpu only, taking everything new and putting the old components back, clearing cmos again, and taking the motherboard out of the case and sitting it on antistatic foil. None of the things I tried had worked. Im really desperate at this point, i don't have any diagonostic speaker or led. Any other ideas before i go to get it serviced? (I think that it's most likely the power supply, I'm certain its too weak but on the other hand why would it just stop working after 4 hours)

Hey guys, Just noticed my ram wasn’t in dual channel. I got my ram from slot B1 and moved it to B2. Then my motherboard stopped detecting the RAM stick. Then I put it back, and it’s not detecting but it was detecting. What can be the problem? CPU: Ryzen 3600, psu Montech BETA 650W, motherboard ASrock B450m pro4 r2.0, RAM: Patriot Viper Elite 8gb x2

As the title says. Was watching a movie when all of a sudden my PC bluescreened. Initially, it was stuck in a blue screen loop where it said “Just collecting some information”, then would restart, and return to the same screen, going in a loop. After forcefully shutting down a few times, eventually it progressed to its current state. Now when the PC is turned on (after the BIOS screen) you are greeted to a black screen with a windows logo and the text “Preparing Automatic Repair”. The issue here is that it freezes at this screen, and doesn’t actually repair. All of the online tutorials don’t work since they all require to actually boot into windows and fix it from there (but it never actually gets past this automatic repair screen, so nothing can be done). I’ve updated my BIOS to the latest version, as well as tried booting from a Windows Installation Media from a USB drive, but the BIOS update didn’t fix anything, and when I select to boot from the USB, once I then try to boot my display is just black and nothing actually happens. Anyone encountered this before and have a solution, or to offer an idea for a solution? I feel like I’ve tried everything to no avail.

So, my Windows 10 computer (Aorus B450 Elite V2, Ryzen 3600, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, RTX 2070, Samsung 970 Evo M.2 1TB) just randomly decided to restart earlier and remained on the Aorus Windows loading screen for almost 15 minutes before I decided to power cycle it. Now, I know that probably wasn't the smartest course of action, but my computer is no stranger to boot loops and power cycling usually works. And either way, I had no reason to believe the computer was updating or doing anything like that. Anyway, now when I boot up the computer, it still just sticks on the Windows loading screen with the Aorus logo. I've tried power cycling it 3 times to get to Automatic Repair, but after seeing the Automatic Repair text pop up, the screen shortly becomes void of anything but the Windows loading wheel and it never actually continues on to the repairs. Luckily, I have both Windows 10 and Ubuntu USB drives, but while the computer loads into Ubuntu no problem (I can even access my boot drive just fine, and I can't find any evidence of corruption) it refuses to load the Windows 10 USB. All that happens is that the Windows 10 logo pops up with the loading wheel for a few seconds, then fades away, and gets stuck on a black screen until I restart my computer. So, what the heck? I get that maybe I interrupted Windows during an update and that's why I can't boot into my install, but why wouldn't my computer be able to load the USB? I even made another one using my backup PC in case maybe my usual Windows USB got corrupted or something, but even it's not working. I'm honestly at my wit's end. I've never had this happen. I've tried switching BIOS legacy mode off and on again but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey! First of all, sorry for my grammar, I'm not a native English speaker I want to revive a dead computer that died because a PSU failure. I bought new PSU, RAM and SSD. Then I found a boot loop problem (I'd say the same that Im having right now) and i bought a new motherboard because i thought it could be the problem. I bought the motherboard secondhand and It worked!!! I installed everything and it worked the first day! I managed to install Windows 10 and all the stuff and I kept the computer for 2 months, then I went to start it and ran into the same problem than before. Things that I tried: Replacing CPU and nothing changed Replacing PSU and nothing changed Disconnect all peripheral and SATA and nothing changed Update BIOS and nothing change Hard reset BIOS to default values and nothing changes (CMOS reset) Possible solution: The RAM is brand new but is this amazon model: TECMIYO 8GB Kit (2x4GB) PC3 12800 DDR3 1600 CL11 1.5V 240Pin Non-ECC Unbuffered UDIMM Desktop Memory Ram Module I managed to boot correctly the computer by only booting with 1 RAM stick and DIMM2. If i insert both RAM stick it doesn't boot. Even If I insert 1 stick in DIMM1 It doesn't boot. It's very weird because It worked the first day with both sticks!! And I haven't use the PC since then. I also check if the DIMM1 slot has any pin burnt but I can't see anything I attach a video of the boot loop and my computer components: Motherboard: MSI H61-P32/W8 No GPU. CPU: Intel i5-3450 PSU: Mars Gaming MPII550 RAM: TECMIYO 8GB Kit (2x4GB) PC3 12800 DDR3 1600 CL11 1.5V 240Pin Non-ECC Unbuffered UDIMM Desktop Memory Ram Module 1697000995_WhatsAppVideo2021-01-30at14_46_45.mp4

I have a Google Pixel 2 that's stuck in a bootloop. I've tried going into recovery mode to reboot the system but with no luck. When the phone is restarting, it just shows the G logo with an endless loading bar (not a progress bar), as in the picture. I haven't found if other people have recently encountered this issue or if there are other options I can try to startup the phone. In this case, factory resetting the device would not be an option as I'd like to keep the data from the phone. I also know this might be a longshot, but if there would be a way to just recover the data on the phone from a computer, that would be great.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask or under phones and tablets, if any mods see this and wish to remove it or move it, do it with my blessing. Tldr Samsung tab S6 lite. I can enter download mode, no matter what I do i cant enter recovery menu anymore, I am stuck at the first samsung splash screen (not the second one that flashes in and out, I am at the static image) preamble. I have been trying things for hours, at this point I don't know what to do. its been a while and its like 4 am when I'm writing this so I will try my best to recap what I have done but I will for sure get some details wrong. Then I just want to know how to proceed or if I'm just bricked. my steps The tablet was working fine, I wanted root for rclone I used This tutorial. At the end of it I was stuck in a boot loop I googled and I believe the issue was the files I chose since the site seemed weird, I tried going for lineage OS instead and it worked, I was on lineageOS lastest android 12. Apps were crashing and after searching it seems to be bug for android 12, I wanted to go back to stock I searched and found Frija, used it to download firmware again, try flashing a bunch of different things, stuff like the directly the AP, the boot img as AP formated as a tar, everything including the BL and CSC. Now when I restart the device I dont boot loop anymore, I just stay at the samsung screen I dont remember the details from how I properly reached LineageOS, but the recovery menu was not stock. I guess I also installed a stock ROM, but at this point I cant tell. I have flashed so many different things into every field in Odin that at this point I feel like I bricked it. Questions I used XAR region for frija, SM-P610 is my device, since its Wifi version No idea to find out the correct region, are these files fine? After reading how to root, it seems only the boot.tar is needed from the AP file in the firmware to properly "get to stock" is this true? what else do I need to go fully stock, what do I need to run on Odin? If after running fully stock flashes on Odin im still stuck in static samsung logo does this mean im bricked? Any other ideas? Heimdall did not work for me the patching of drivers failed, ADB needs recovery menu which I cant access I can only enter download mode currently. I am going to bed, I will probably answer in 4 to 5 hours. I don't know what to do anymore, I appreciate your time reading this and any help you can provide.

Hey guys, about a month ago I bumped a ram stick accidently while my pc was on, it was a very soft bump. My pc instantly shutted down and started boot looping. After I reseated my ram it turned on normally. A week later my pc started bootlooping again I reseated my ram and it worked fine. I am running a b560m steel legend motherboard from asrock, 2 sticks of ram 8gbs from corsair at 3200mhz, a 11600k and the igpu. I did a memtest 86 diagnostic on both my memory sticks on the slot that could have been damaged when I bumped my ram with my hand and no errors where detected. My ram slots work fine apparently and I dont get the usual ram problems when I successfully boot, it's just that I have to reseat my ram from time to time. If I remove one of the ramsticks when my pc starts bootlooping it works just fine, if I reinsert the ram stick it bootloops but if I switch my ram sticks places my pc boots normally. What could be the problem? What was probably damaged? Thank you for the help!

Hello everyone! My SSD was working fine yesterday, played on my pc before going to sleep and when I got up SSD is not working anymore. So the first thing I saw when I powered on was my windows installation died and I keep getting the "Automatic Repair installation" in a loop and just end up in a BSOD with the error "Critical Process Died" every time, so I then made a USB key on another computer to try to save it first and reinstall as last resort. When I got the USB key and wanted to reinstall that's where I noticed that my PC really taking his sweet time to post almost like 3 minutes ish, eventually it arrived to the boot menu and started on the USB and this took a long time to get on the windows logo with the spinning loading animation, after a while it BSOD on "NTP Watchdog". So I was starting to think that maybe something on the board is behaving weirdly or not working anymore but before I removed anything like ram, gpu I turned off and removed the SSD and everything was fast again, the post, the boot to a USB key that worked and showed the windows Installation program. Plugged the SSD again and it again took a long time to post, I made a USB Linux Mint to boot on it, arrived on the desktop and I wanted to check the file to get the logs of the BSOD but the ssd just isn't here, I tried to list the drive on terminal but nothing so I shut off everything again and put the ssd in external bay and still nothing, tried a 2.5 inch case to usb and still nothing but I noticed the read/write leds was blinking crazy fast constantly. I tried to use it on other pc externally but nothing is seems to be here, I tried Getdataback, Samsung Magician but nothing find the drive it's just not connecting, the ssd can't seem to say "Hey I'm here!" but instead just screaming constantly and not waiting for a response at least that's what I suppose since the LED are constantly on the bay just going crazy and not stopping. So I can't get the BSOD logs or my files back. I research a bit on google and saw that I could try to do a power-cycle to factory reset it by just leaving the power on but no data cable for an hour or "30 minutes unplug and 30 minutes again" but it didn't work. Searched some more and find similar forums post but the solutions they had didn't work for me. It's still under warranty so I can RMA it but I'm pretty sure Samsung won't save transfer my data (I have a backup but it's old so bye new stuff that was added since) I'm pretty sure it's dead but maybe someone have a solution :'), If no solution I would like to know why it just died like this, why is it showing in the bios and nowhere else. I'll put my specs down there and sorry for the long post, take care! Specs: OS (that was installed) Windows 10 x64 Desktop I7 4790K GTX 1070 MSI z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard LGA 1150 (Bios 1.2) Corsair RM 850 16 GB 1866Mhz memory

Hey everyone, I have a big problem with my PC. CPU: Intel i7-4790k CPU-Cooler: Corsair H150i Pro RGB GPU: Asus ROG Strix 2080 Super OC Mainboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3, 2x8GB + 2x4GB PSU: Corsair RM750x Samsung 970 Pro + some WD HDDs I was playing a game (Elite Dangerous) and watching a youtube video on another monitor when suddenly the game froze. A few seconds later and the video froze as well.I couldn't do anything. I couldn't tab-out, I couldn't open task manager, nothing. I shut it down by holding the power button, but now it won't turn on again. It just starts up, 5/6 case fans start spinning at 100% speed, it shows code "00 or D0" (there is not really any way to differentiate between a "D" and a "0"), and shuts down. After that it goes into a bootloop where it repeats aforementioned steps until I flip the PSU switch. I can't even get into the BIOS. I also can't see any obvious damage (e.g. burn marks). Also, with each bootloop I can hear my PSU make a sound like it clicks a switch. Twice. Ones at the "beginning" of the loop, and another time with the "end" of the loop. D0 would be CPU initialization error, 00 isn't used - according to the manual. That makes D0 the more likely option. Does this mean my CPU is dead? ETA: thanks to Middcores comment it's now clear that it is error code 00 (a code that the manual says isn't used) A direct replacement isn't that easy or cheap to get, so that would mean a complete CPU/MB/RAM combo, which is something I wanted to wait with for the AM5 socket next year... What I've done so far: Changed CMOS battery Tried booting with 0 RAM sticks to try to get another error code Tried booting with 1 RAM stick to check if my RAM is faulty Tried removing all peripherals besides mouse/keyboard, unplugging the HDDs so that only the 970 Pro is available as the only drive (it's the boot drive), removed the GPU so that it could use the onboard graphics from my cpu (also plugged the monitor into MB hdmi port) Tried using a differen CPU cooler (old bequiet air-cooler) - yes, I know it doesn't make much sense, but I'm running out of ideas... Disassembled an resassembled the whole thing. Is there anything else I could try? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, My pc boots into this screen, Apparently my main bios is corrupted. This happened after the electricity cut off and my pc turned off. When I turned it on this happened. It used to be the screen without the window, and it would constantly restart. The splash screen doesnt show up, so pressing ESC or F10 to get to boot options doesnt work. I looked up a few threads, they call it a bootloop. There are several ways to fix it, like pressing both power and reset button for 10 seconds, and to press power button and hold then turn off the power supply of some sort of sequence but these didnt work. Lastly I found this video https://youtu.be/CAozAJa5MY He demonstrates the same problem i have. What he does is short pin number 1 and pin number 6. And the bootloop will stop and the window saying (the main bios is corrupted) appears. After that he just presses ok and it loads a bit and his PC is solved. I followed the video and the dialog appeared for me, BUT WHEN i press Ok it loads to %100 and restarts and shows the dialog again. And repeats. I keep pressing ok, it loads saying “updating Main bios”, but then restarts and back to the same window. MY PROBLEM (TLDR) I followed the video, but when loading screen ends, it restarts to the screenshot i linked. No matter how many i press ok to updating bios, it just restarts and shows same screen again. I am a college student and i do need this pc for studying,i literally finished typing an essay on my phone, any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys, I have this oneplus 3t and I ws just using SoundCloud and suddenly turned off I thought maybe I accidentally did it and turned it on again (i ws walking with the phone in my right hand, the power button's right underneath my hand when I'm holding it like that and when you hold it the menu opens next to it around the skin under your thumb so there can be two accidental operations at the same time), got back to my music and it did the same thing again (i think it did that on its own even the first time), now when I hold the power button it does nothing (charging was around 50%) and when I put it on charging it turns on for a sec, vibrates and shut down and this cycle keeps going. I should also mention that I ran a few 3dmark benchmarks on it the results were really bad like my score was the worst out of every oneplus 3t that's been tested (also it gets really very hot that it becomes painful to the touch when playing PUBG) What's wrong with it can someone pls tell me that, any help would be appreciated

Hello! I recently completed a SFF build and booted into windows for the first time, after a restart and connecting to the internet I began to experience a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA BSOD, this occurred probably twice. I ignored these as ‘growing pains’ for a new build, driver compatibility, software and whatnot. However after my latest BSOD: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE, I am unable to boot into windows. This, given the terrible internet quality in my area and the fact that I was attempting to install windows updates at the time, sounds like corrupted updates/drivers, I cant say for sure though obviously. Secondly, after this latest BSOD I cannot enter my windows installation media to reinstall windows fresh of any updates/drivers potentially corrupted. Which I find odd as it seems unrelated outside of spontaneous component failure (system or flash drive), I am planning to install a fresh version of the windows installation media on this flash drive after a new formatting and hoping I can perform a fresh windows install from there. If this sounds like something that may not be fixed through a fresh windows install or you have encountered this type of error before/have any suggestions, throw them my way! I will be providing updates on my status regarding my ability to boot into the windows installation media in the coming days as I do not have a spare windows device to the perform steps req immediately. Here’s another rundown of the sequence of events: FAQ?: Specs: Thanks for reading though my topic! Quite the read it was.. if something doesn’t make sense make me clarify, thanks again!

Recently I've had a fairly common problem where my PC boots but gives no signal on monitor(fans and led's all light up) . I've tried EVERYTHING. From cables, changing monitors, clearing CMOS, testing another PSU(friends) , breadboarding with/without different components, reseating every component, every cable, looked for shorts, sent my MOBO on testing and possibly RMA since it was my main suspect, it worked fine there... So after days of trying everything I contacted a friend to help me troubleshoot further since he's into PC's and was willing to help. Since the mobo is clear, our main suspect is the GPU. So we put his GPU in my PC, still no POST whatsoever, same problem. We also replaced our RAM and SSD, still no POST. After all this we put back all his components back (GPU, RAM, SSD) and he gets the exact same problem. No post, no display, no signal, everything boots fine and lights up. What to do next? Did anyone experience something similar? Could a virus do something like this even tho I don't have any idea where I could've picked it up? Is there any chance of him getting his PC back to normal, at this point I don't even care about mine. My specs: R5 2600x, Sapphire RX580 4gb, Asrock B450M Pro4-F, SeaSonic GM 650, Kingston A2000 M. 2 ssd and barracuda hdd

Hello everyone wondering if I can get a hand with an issue I have been having with my newish pc recently . To start off I built this pc about 4-5 months ago with almost all new parts ( old parts being hard drives with games and case ) that being said everything was brand new and working perfectly fine these last few months until about a week ago I have been stuck in a boot loop before I can even access the BIOS! That being said the only thing I did before this with the system was a windows update in which the pc did not shutoff at all and acted perfectly fine until going to use the next day and experiencing the above mentioned. I have been doing a bunch of research and trying a few different things and nothing has worked so I am planning on taking to the pc shop that I bought the parts from if we are unable to figure out here . What I have done so far is first verified almost all my components are working fine the only 2 I cannot confirm are the motherboard and CPU due to incompatibility with old pc . I tried clearing the cmos and even changing the battery out with a new one and that is the only time I get a somewhat different result after changing cmos I get black screen with white letters saying f1 to boot saved setup or f2 for setup menu and I have tried both and still end up with the same result of the pc boot looping with the "MAG" logo on screen and only half of the bios print showing up . My final try was to flash the bios , I used old pc and put file on thumb drive did the whole rest of the process and am still having the same results. Please any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated . Thanks . ( Picture is screen in boot loop)
