My custom vbios would not run anything newer than AMD 16.9.1 driver. There is no compute mode on 16.9.1 or older. So is there anything i can do to enable compute mode for my GPU? Thanks

Really the only thing that I have been able to find in my googles is ~ dshop ~ which is the leading option right now . But I'm not a coder or great with software . WooCommerce and WordPress were my furthest extent on website "design" I have designs drawn out from years ago of what i would want it to be , but its past what the Free templates are lol . So I'm wondering if anyone knows a way I can essentially build the website with these simple apps then just have it launched "decentralized" and accepting crypto . I am in an engineering college in first semester. And like I wanna work on hardware side of things, not so much on the software side of things (my major is Electronics Engineering for this reason). Should I like go to this seminar ? I don't really know what Blockchain is (except that brief explanation Linus had given when he tried to explain blockchain based crypto currencies on the WAN show) but at the same time I am not that interested in knowing about it. Also these days seems like crypto bros and other scammers are just running scams by using buzzwords like "blockchain". So Should I go to this seminar ? Because what would be the point of blockchain in the realm of hardware ? or very low level software (close to hardware) Like I have heard that Ubisoft was trying something stupid with NFTs i.e. adding them to their games.

Hello everyone, I was thinking about POS Blockchains because it doesn't waste electricity. So there is a thing like the 51% stake attack, but what I'm thinking about is how do you even validate this? The person who has the biggest stake mines the block, and the description of POS blockchains says that it's a bad idea to "create a custom block" for example adding 100k coins to your wallet. So how do you ensure that the block is valid and how does the 51% stake attack work? Do you become the blockchain boss and anything you say is instantly valid?

A blockchain-backed NFT game called Axie Infinity is very popular at the moment at Southeast Asia. This game has been branded as a 'play-to-earn' game and many are crazed about it. I have heard that Bitcoin and the blockchain can never be 'hacked'. I certainly believe that someone won't be able to just somehow break the blockchain and duplicate/create funds out of nowhere due to the strength of digital encryption. However, how true is that statement? -Can it not just be hacked currently due to current technology limitations? -Does there need to be a number of people in on it? -If a huge entity/organization (beyond the scope of ordinary hacker group) was interested in foul-play, would there be cause for concern? -If someone illicit in 5 years from now had a supercomputer equivalent to the current supercomputer, could it be used somehow to 'crack' a blockchain? I think all technology has some kind of flaws and certainly when it comes to cryptocurrency, the security flaws lie in the ability of your passwords getting stolen from devices with things like Malware or keyloggers, or lost and irrecoverable if your wallet and/or private keys are physically stored. Making a blockchain private, means having only a small number of trusted parties running the blockchain. While private blockchains defeat the original purpuse of a blockchain (to remove centralized control), that allows to improve the performance and efficiency, still not at the level where it can compete with an efficient database like SQL or an efficient secure messaging system like SWIFT. Fourteen years after the birth of Bitcoin, there are still no real world applications where the blockchain technology is the right tool for the job. Blockchain technology, as it currently stand, is just a slower, less efficient way to what we can already do. There is a steep penalty in maintaining a system under the assumption that every user of the system might be working to undermine the system itself. Even with 250 million dollars and seven years of development, a company like ASX was unable to make a blockchain competitive with its aeging non-blockchain counterpart. According to this article in the guardian, "Researchers from the RWTH Aachen University, Germany found that around 1,600 files were currently stored in bitcoin’s blockchain. Of the files least eight were of sexual content, including one thought to be an image of child abuse and two that contain 274 links to child abuse content... Although court rulings do not yet exist, legislative texts from countries such as Germany, the UK, or the USA suggest that illegal content such as child abuse imagery can make the blockchain illegal to possess for all users." So even holding the blockchain for mining purposes could be illegal... Ugh.

Hey, I recently cashed out of opskins and because of the way their site works, (I had 65$) I cashed out 50$, then 10$, then 5$ all in the same ~1min range. I used the same wallet address for each. They then paid me a few days later (yesterday) and when I logged onto my wallet. It is empty. Please help me, I'm very scared. I don't want to loose 65$ in btc. Hi, so I have reinstalled my windows os because of different reasons but I have a backup of the wallet.dat that the bitcoinqt made for me. Now my question is, how do I use it again. Like how do I put it into the program on my new installation of windows?
