System Specs: Zephyrus G15 Ryzen 9 5900 HS RTX 3070 Mobile 8GB 16GB ram I am trying to run Battlefield 1 on high or ultra on my external monitor at 1440p, but I get horrible fps drops with 1% lows into the low 30s. High FPS is around 80. I know most people run BF1 at 1440p closer to 120 fps on the 3070 mobile so I don't know what is wrong. I have tried lowering down to low or medium and that doesn't help at all, only makes it worse. When the it drops frames the GPU utilization goes down to around 13%. If anyone knows what could be wrong I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey y'all, I know this has been posted before, but I wanted to post it again in light of new patches. BF1 has ran pretty underwhelmingly for me: Here's my rig: 4670k OC'd to 4.24ghz @ 1.22V, CPU cores unparked. Cooled with NZXT X61, never even hits 70 degrees GTX 1080 (Asus STRIX), not OC'd 16GB Corsair RAM @ 1600Mhz Corsair 850W PSU, MSI Gaming 7 mobo, HyperX Savage 500GB SSD. First order of business, the reason why my CPU is rather old while I'm running a GTX1080 is because I upgraded a 3 year old computer, and decided the CPU didn't have to be replaced. For BF1, I usually get 75+ FPS (I've capped the FPS to 75 to help my issues). However, in intense scenes or after an hour of gaming, I get FPS drops to the low 30's at times. It's very bothersome. My CPU is almost always maxed at 100%. I don't know if Shadowplay effects my CPU usage that much. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problems as me, and how they fixed it. I don't think I want to upgrade (I'd have to buy a new mobo since buying a Haswell i7 doesn't sound like a smart idea at the moment). The cost would be upwards of 500 bucks for an 7th gen i7 and a mobo, which would theoretically fix my problems.

So I'd be fine with high cpu usage if I got decent fps, but I started the game up after a while of not playing it, and I was getting awfully inconsistent fps (dips down to like 15 fps) I've had issues with my pump stopping, so I checked the gpu temps to make sure nothing was overheating, but the gpu was only at like 900 mhz and 60% usage. I opened task manager and the cpu is pinned at 100% on all 8 threads, which seems odd, since I didnt have any issues running the game on my laptop with a much slower i7. All the fixes online like making commandlines didnt really help as the fps is still very inconsistent.

I've recently upgraded my computer, and no my Battlefield 1 constantly crashes. Like every game I get in, it crashes. What I mean by crashes is it stops responding and closes itself. Because of summary 3, I did to check disk on both my C drive (windows) and D drive (battlefield 1 and other games) It used to involve nvwgf2umx.dll but somehow I fixed it. Hi all I have recently bought BF1, I've played the beta and on the beta i got over 60 fps on high/ultra, but now on the full version i barely get 60 fps on medium settings on domination. This is because my gpu usage is or below 50%. This makes me sad because it was a game i really got hyped for specs: gtx 1060 3gb i5 6400 8gb ram

Hello i recently upgraded a gtx 760 2gb to a 970 3.5gb and battlefield 1 has started randomly freezing a lot. It would freeze for like half a second every time. the game runs fine without shadowplay at around 70 fps average and with it 70 fps average but game freezes constantly for half a second. the pc is windows 10 64 bit with 8gb ramand a i5 4690k. i already used DDU to remove the driver and updated all drivers on the computer. i also did i reinstall of bf1 wut the problem still persists. i dont want to do a fresh os install and the gpu is already tested to work well in another pc with higher specs in general nothing on the pc is overclocked everything is stock.

I don't know what type of monitor I need for gaming! I have a 1070 FE and i5 7600k, imma mainly play BF1, so I know from research 1080p gives me avg 90 fps while 1440p gives me 60fps. Also heard higher refresh rate is better than higher resolution. Should I choose higher fps but lower screen resolution, or lower fps but higher screen resolution? I recently cancelled my Omen 32 I ordered, was scares 60hz was not enough.

Battlefield 1! Battlefield Probably one of the most popular games worldwide is the subject of this project. However, on a slightly different KIND. For use comes the Xtreme Gaming XC700W Case. The case is predominantly in black and has accents in orange and white. The colors of the Extreme Gaming logo will be reflected in the whole concept. This will be achieved by fluorescent orange plexiglass. The interior is as discreet as possible without impairing its functions and with Plexiglass cladding. The motto in the interior is always Battlefield 1 and Extreme Gaming! All cables are made in orange, silver and black. All fans are color-adjusted. A UV and white LED lighting should illuminate the interior. The graphics card is to be installed by means of a Risercard upright. Now the different kind! From the outside, the Case will receive the Battlefield 1 lettering from 3mm Plexiglas as well as the Vehicle and weapon symbols from the game's options menu. These are made from 3mm Fluorescent orange plexiglas and multilayer in different colors on the case Attached to achieve an optical depth. Also here will be extreme gaming design Elements that will connect the symbols. Hardware: CPU: Intel Core I7 6700K Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-SOC FORCE GPU: GeForce® GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Premium Pack 8G Ram: 16Gb DDR4 HyperX Fury 2666Mhz SSD: 256gb Intel 600P M2 Case:Xtreme Gaming XC700W CPU cooler:Xtreme Gaming XTC700 PSU: Xtreme Gaming XP1200M Peripherien Keyboard:Gigabyte Force K85 Mouse:Xtreme Gaming XM300 First of all, a small preview of some of the components. PS: Sorry to all that I have so long nothing of me hear. After the DCMM I started two new projects (Cheops and Alkesh), I first built a nice premium milling table and a sled for my circular saw, But as it is just so it comes firstly differently and secondly as one thinks. The planning for this project started already at the Gamescom, drew itself however still until Christmas. The last part I got now only a week ago. Yes for the CES, I was just before just synonymous to build something, even got 5 days of time: rofl: As soon as I get a share for this project I will create, just like for everyone else, worklogs, sorry. Unfortunately, I will not be able to continue working on Cheops and Alkesh as soon as I have (unfortunately) already projects for the Cebit and Computex to stand but we will see. I try to get the best out of time and hope you like it anyway: rolleyes: Greetings Ronny

Ok so what the heck do you want Lance... I just want to ask the battlefield community if you have been seeing these errors: Because I have been seeing these errors on BF1 and BF4. The only errors I recieve are the "Low FPS" Warnings. But thats Bull**** Because in campaign (With VSYNC Enabled) I get 60 FPS. But in multiplayer, I also get 60 FPS, But the game is chopping up and is basically unplayable online. (And no my internet is fine.) So what, Not my problem you loser... Fine whatever, But seriously guys this is a HUGE problem with many of my friends playing Battlefield. If you have any insights or any ideas on how to fix this, Drop some in the description and I will reply ASAP. Thanks! -TheTechnicalGeek (EDIT: This has been solved! Thanks Spudbilly!)

Hey everyone, As the title says I'm getting massive fps drops while playing bf1 (specs included below). Regardless of what setting (low - ultra all at 1080p) as soon as their is action my fps is going to around 40-50 fps from normally 90-100 fps. I've set the program priority to high, and even tried lowering the prerendered frames to no avail. Any help would be appreciated! System Spec: evga gtx 1070 i7 6700k evga gs 550W 16 gb ddr4 PS: other games (the division, crysis 3) run fine (high settings high fps)

So I was forced to use numbers spare rig for about 4 days or so. Played bf1 again as cod is dead. I know they released some patches that improved things such as the high gpu usage. 1440p, ultra preset, dx11. CPU on xmp profile. 4.22ghz or so. Stable at 4.5 but I don't run it there anymore. You can clearly see the usage in the pic, game runs flawless as it should, 120-90 fps average. Been told by the experts on here that theres something wrong with my pcs in order to have high usage. So what's the problem exactly?

With the release of BF1 and the game engine it's using, I was wondering whether we'll have better graphics in newer games: Look how realistic 'The Witcher 3' is, with it's " "hairworks" etc. and game engines keep getting better, and we'll probably not yet have 8K for a while, and if we had, we'd still be able to run some AAA titles with the top of the line cards as @LinusTech showed in his "gaming at 8K" video, which btw I loved. But game devs can't make a game more realistic than the world already is, right? So the game engines will continue to evolve, the only thing that gpus can stress more than it already is viewrange and bigger maps.

In the typical case of overestimated system requirements, Battlefield 1 will indeed boot up and play via a 1 GB video card, as well as work with less than 8GB of RAM despite "system requirements". However, it's quite obvious the game has a tough time with it by stalls during gameplay. It seems Windows 10 eats up alot of VRAM for background crap, even Origin itself will occupy quite a bit when it gets started. Been working on trying to minimize VRAM use, and I'm going to assume Win7 would use even less, but I would like to hear from others about their experience using 1GB or even 1.25 and 1.5GB video cards with ample enough GPUs. The Radeon 7750 is unsurprisingly more than capable of running the game at minimum settings at 1080p, it's just held back by the small framebuffer.

Hey boys and gals, So, got Bf1 a few days back (holy **** ) and everything was quite normal, both mp and sp (with the exception of my gpu going nuts, but was an one-time thing), but yesterday I stumbled into a HUUUGE issue with Multiplayer. While in-game on ANY server, I get extreme packet loss. Every 5-10 seconds the red packet loss icon shows up on my screen and after a few seconds I rubber-band back where I was (rejack much?). This has been happening since three days, and basically renders mp unplayable. I would be glad if some of you lads help me out. Cheers! P.S. Yes, I did already post this in Pc gaming, but didn't get much help there

Hey guys! I just bought a new Rx480 to pair with my FX-8350. I'm getting around 40fps with HUGE freezes every 15-25 seconds. Can anything tell me what the problem might be? All my drivers are updated. I upgraded from a GTX 770.
