First here is the sound i managed to capture it in a Twitch Clip at approximately second 20 to end: Twitch Clip of the weird warning sound Does anyone have any Idea which program this could be? It mostly occurrs while streaming and playing demanding games at the same time. My System: Graphics: I am not sure if this is kind of a temperature warning maybe? But i don't have any warnings configured myself, MSI afterburner isn't installed Snippet of my autostart programs: I also tried to peek at the sound panel to see if I can spot the program which generated the sound but no luck so far. Would be great if someone can at least tell me where this is coming from to tackle or deactivate it

I an having issue with my Gigabyte b250m d3h motherboard .... 3 years after purchase ..one day it started beeping and it was 4 long beeps and 1 short and it restarts ...same thing happens again.. i thought it was ram problem...so after replacement it worked fine and then AGAIN the beeping! the i thought probably the ram slot was damage.. i have 3 ram (8+4+4) 16 GB total...... 3 of 4 slots was used... but when rearrange ( trying each ram in each slot till it fixes) the ram to each different slot...it starts to boot normally again.... and stays fine for weeks..... Now i dont get it ...is it the ram problem or ram slot problem or both?...Pls someone give a clue what is happening here

Hello, I'm very stumped with this issue and would love it is someone else had some thoughts on it. I recently built a computer for my girlfriend using some new and old parts. I reused a PSU, ram and some storage. All of the parts reused where farmed from what was working HTPC. The issue: The computer randomly (independent of the task being run) will lose video output and then reboot. When this happens 5 beeps can be heard followed by pause and another beep(as the PC restarts). (see video) Things I've already checked myself : It's not a heat related issue as the issue still occurs when the PC is idle. I used to have a much newer 32gb of ram in this PC but I replaced them with the current 16gb ram to discard ram issues. Tried reseting the CPU as well. I've tried looking up what the beeps can mean but what I'm finding is pretty broad anything from CPU, PSU, GPU, RAM and Motherboard issues... I'm not a new building a PC from scratch, again. My gut tells me it may be the NVME that could be the issue (probably the oldest part) but I'd rather not replace it until I have some evidence to this being the issue. (money is tight at) I've tried running the windows built in drive test with no issues found. Here are the main parts: ASRock B450M STEEL LEGEND (reused) AMD Ryzen 7 5800x (new) GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING OC 16G (new) Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb RAM (reused) EvGA 750w power supply(reused) VID_20231006_144157.mp4

Hello everyone, Im over here losing my mind in desperate need of your help. I recently purchased two HP 27xq monitors as an upgrade (on sale). Now, for reasons unknown to me I got one 27xq and one x27i delivered. I plugged in the 27xq, works like a charm. (HDMI) I plugged in the x27i, works like a charm. (DP) Now, fastforward to my problem: When I switch of my PC (or send it into power saving mode for that matter), it starts a constant high pitched beep (no interruptions, short long or anything) and a red led lights up inside my case. This is instantly fixed by pulling the DP cable. Do you have any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it? I already switched power plugs, hdmi and DP to each monitor and even DP slots on my graphics card (gtx1060 6gb with 1 hdmi and 3 dp) - the problem persists only with the DP cable, no matter which port or monitor. After pulling the plug one time I can put it back in with no problems, beeping etc. I thought it might be with power from the monitor finding its way into the graphics card over dp and the system not liking that? Its stressing me out so much. Thanks so much in advance for any help - i googled the hell out of this one but cant find anything. (On another side note: is two 1440p 144hz displays too much of a burden for my 1060? it seemed fine with one and fine with two, but alt + tab takes way longer with both connected. Before i had two 1080p 60hz displays and dont remeber this problem, but i think its unlikely as i was only playing LoL and listening to music, which is certainly not THAT demanding for the graphics card ...)

Hi everyone, rookie here. I kind of have a prob, here's what I know - I switched to an nvme storage and suddenly, my computer started to make error beeps at boot and then reboot and it's good to go. It doesn't occure every time though, most of the time it boots just fine. - I don't think it's ssd related because beeps are 1 long + 2 shorts, I checked and apparently it is a graphics error code. - I started having some crashes after long sessions of gaming. I took out my GPU and put it back, didn't quite solve the problem. After investigation, it has occured to me that it could potentially be a PSU issue: my PSU is 6 years-ish old and maybe it is starting failing. Therefore it could fail providing power during high loads such as boot or long gaming sessions. Might be wrong though. There it is guys, it's a long post but I hope you can help, maybe you had similar experiences or suggestions about what it could be ? Thanks a lot

Hello all, I have a problem. But first some backstory. I'm building a plex pc / pc for my dad to use for zwift. Plus for me to possibly use via steam remote play when my mum is using my pc for work stuff. I built it with no problems except when I turned it on there was a constant beeping noise. As in one long never-ending beep. My specs are: Cpu: e5-2680 V4 Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 MOBO: Gigabyte x99 Gaming 5 RAM: 4*4Gb sk Hynix 2100Mhz ECC ram GPU: 1050ti PSU: Corsair vengance 650m What happens when I press the power button: Some times it turns on and beeps constantly. I think it would boot as it gets to the page where you pick what version of ubuntu you want. But other times it will turn on for half a second then turn off. I then have to unplug the PSU for some time before trying again. What I've tried: reset CMOS + change CMOS battery, re-seat ram, unplug everything from the mobo and tried with and without a GPU. With the PSU from my main pc 'Corsair RM1000', it works fine and with the 650m plugged into my main pc (3800x + 2070s) that also works. So I know they both work individually but just not together. I have also checked the PSU voltages, they all seem to be fine. At this point, I'm completely stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, i bought few months ago a Super Flower Leadex III Gold ARGB Pro - 80 PLUS Gold, modulaire, 750 watts And i dont know what is going on because the PSU is beeping sometimes, usually when im gaming Could you explain me the meaning of those beeps ? Sometimes its short beeps but today i was gaming and i had a 2 seconds long beep with a loud click noise right after (the same clicking noise i have when i turn off my computer) My specs are a full custom water loop on i5 8600k, z370 aorus gaming 3 , 16Go ddr4 3466, and a vega 56 so i dont think i use too much power and the psu is on auto mode for the fan because the fan is vibrating too much when Always on (no OC but i blocked the adaptive auto voltage @1.040mv MAX) Thanks for reading, waiting for your response ! (before you ask it is the psu i have unpluged all what i could in my pc so it was mb, gpu, psu or my pump but the click noise i heard today as i said is the one coming from my psu when i turn of my pc so the case is resolved ^^ we have the guilty lets find why hes doind this

Hello, I don’t know how long I’ve had this issue but it’s becoming increasingly bothersome the more I look into it. My 3080 produces a very faint, continuous beeping noise at a constant rate. It does this constantly, but when I’m gaming I’m assuming it just gets toned out by my fans. I know it’s my 3080 because I hear it loudest when I’m right next to the side vents on the card. Ive looked up everything I possibly could and I even found a post on here that sounds similar to mine but his was just cool whine. While I do get that at times I know this isn’t that noise, and it stresses me out. Please also let me know if I’m overreacting, I tend to do that. PC Specs: cpu: i7 11700kf gpu: 3080 10 gb OC Gigabyte psu: 750 watt thermaltake toughpower gf1 series 80 plus gold ultra quiet case: Lian li 011 dynamic atx razer edition cpu cooler: cooler master master liquid lite 240 mm argb mobo: msi mpg z590 gaming carbon wifi atx case fans: thermaltake 120mm pure plus led tt premium edition ssd: seagate firecuda 520 1tb hdd: seagate 2tb (I don’t remember which version it has a blue sticker) memory: 16 gb 2x8 Corsair vengeance pro rgb 3600 mhz I got this pc as a custom prebuilt from CyberPower Also here’s a video of what it sounds like sorry for the other noises I have a fridge close to me and my fans are loud even on the silent setting IMG_4702.MOV

Hi all, I'm experiencing a strange issue. My computer has zero issues booting, running browsers, and preforming most all tasks. But once I decide to run a game, Elden ring or tarkov for example, I'm assaulted by near constant beeps from what seems to be the motherboard. I've dug around looking for beep codes it could be, but the variation is to great to line up with anything specific. I get long beeps, super long beeps, sometimes super short beeps, everything in between. My CPU does seem to be running a bit hot, 60-80 degrees Celsius, but it has never shut down due to overheating. I re did heat sync and thermal paste months ago and the problem persisted. Open to literally any suggestions, the games run fine, the computer boots, but its ridiculously annoying and must mean something. Specs: Mobo: Tomahawk b450 max CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER

I have an ASRock B365M HDV Mainboard, Im using 2 8gb Corsair Vengeance lpx as ram and a Intel Core I5 9400F as CPU. My pc turns on but he doesnt boot, instead he just makes this noise. What does this mean? VIDEO0100~2.mp4

Just today, I replaced the thermal paste in my Acer Predator G3-605 and tried turning it on but everytime I push the power button, it turns on for a second (You can see the PSU and CPU cooler fan running) then I hear a beep and it immediately shuts down. Specifically, I dusted the motherboard thoroughly with an electric duster then applied Arctic MX-5 to the CPU as well as the GPU die after cleaning them thoroughly with Noctua alchohol wipes and Thermal grizzly remove fluid. I was wearing anti-static wrist straps on both wrists clipped to an already dead SSD throughout the whole process and I'm sure I didn't accidentally short circuit the motherboard, given that it turned on at all. Any help please?

Greetings! The other day my pc started giving a long beep, three short beep post code on startup. It does this every time now but proceeds into my os. The problem is I can no longer access BIOS as that's the only time I get no output. I've tried moving my gpu to a secondary PCIE slot and the behavior is the same. I haven't tried getting to BIOS via integrated but that's less of a concern than my gpu maybe being on it's way out or whatever's going on? ASUS mobo, i9-9900k, Gtx980, anyone with some knowledge to drop on me to figure this guy out?

Hi there, I have some issues since buying a new desktop, for shorts, the motherboard beep a few times before the computer reset and boot again. Some details of this recurring problem I have encountered: - MB emit beeps 2s after power on in a random way, i.e. in a non-systematic way at the start-up an award bios beep 1 long 2 short. According to MSI, it could be linked to "Monitor or display card error." Things tried before posting there: - clearing CMOS - removing one RAM slot alternatively (no changes) - reinstalling windows 10 - reinstalling windows 10 on another NEW sata SSD. - sending the computer back to the seller, they heavily tested the CPU/GPU without finding an issue. However, the issue persist. It may be linked to the Windows update, I'm not certain but everytime I check, Windows Defender was updated and the next start produce the beep sound. Parts: - bios version: 2.71 (latest) - motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI - CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - RAM: Kingston 16GB DDR4-RAM PC-3200 (2x 8GB) - GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX3070 8GB - power supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 700 Watt CM (80+) - storage: NVME M.2 SSD 1TB Kingston A2000 - wifi: Intel Wireless-AC 3168, Bluetooth 4.2 - os: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Attached the CPU-Z report. Hey guys I have a Asrock B550M Pro4 mobo and i just cleared the CMOS battery to reset the bios and returned it back then i powered on the PC. When i powered on the PC a beep sound started to come from the motherboard area (1 Long Beep followed by 3 Short Beeps) ( i will include a video in the attachments) I googled this problem, some are saying that this is related to the rams but they are active in the bios and they’re powered on. Is there any possible solutions? Note: the pc is working fine but the beep sounds are annoying and im afraid they’re a bad indication IMG_6875.MP4

Hi all, I have just installed a new ROG 3090 into my rig. Everything was working fine before and so far seems to be ok now other than my post code. I'm now getting a 4 beeps post code and a light display (CPU, DRAM then VGA) on my aorus z270x gaming k5 rev 2. I've looked up the beeping code so It seems it's a internal clock issue or the ram? Which I've read had to do with the CMOS battery.I have now replaced that battery and reseated my RAM and GPU. This is now all (though was previously running on a 750w) running on a 1000w Seasonic Prime. Any thoughts or things I can trouble shoot? Thanks! 20201227_212434.mp4

I sent this at trouble shooting however I think this place is more appropriate. So I got a Microphone that came with the mic stand, after setting up I plugged in the usb into my laptop and tried to do some test recordings. For some reason there is a long audible beep noise whenever the mic starts recording that sounds like an alarm of some sort (file below that includes test recording) any ideas lads? 2020-12-21 19-26-28.mp3

Hi, so I was casually playing ets2 (Euro Truck Simulator 2) when all of sudden, BAM game went incredibly laggy! I was like whoa! That was strange so I carries on thinking of nothing but then it got worse 1 fps. So exited the game downloaded a different version but then it was still happening so then I was like ugh let's just close it and restart. But when I closed the game down I heard 3 fast beeps. Never heard it before. So I restarted to be sure and researched it and may be a problem with ram but it was fine after that. Am I just worrying. Any ideas will be appreciated.

hello, so i my issue isnt really an issue, yet.. just wondering if anyone knows whats actually happening cuz i cant confirm. every once in a while, seemingly at random, i hear a single beep from my pc followed by the sound of a fan/or possibly the disk in my hdd ramping down and im not entirely sure which, i was thinking it might be the psu or maybe my hdd? i slightly overclocked my gpu could that be it? nothing has actually gone wrong relating to this yet but im worried if it might be indicating something i should be looking into. thank you to anyone who reads and has any useful input. for reference my system is: gigabyte b360m ds3h i5 8400 msi gtx 1060 3GB patriot viper 2x8gb 2666mz corsair rm 550x psu WD 7200rpm 1TB hdd etc...

i just took a screen snip and draw something then it starts beeping, im pretty sure this is not a hard drive failure because last time i hear something like this it was a hard drive failure. But its not a hard drive failure because i just replaced the hard drive like a moth ago and the beep sound is faster than the hard drive failure beep sound. The cursor is stuttering and it doesnt respond any input. So whats the problem, should i do something or change anything? OS : Windows 10 20200722_162933_001_001.mp4

I own a dell xps8300 and I just bought a new 1650 super for my computer and was very excited to install it, i followed all of the rules and made sure to install it on my wooden table. I plugged it in and tried to power on, only for it to show the xps logo and the blue loading bar filled up, this is all that shows up and when i press f2 or f12 a noise is made and keeps going until i release, a single beep can also be heard and it repeats about ten seconds later. I am currently using the integrated graphics on the computer to write this post, i made sure to plug in the six pin connector and the hdmi cord so i have no idea what the problem could be.
