Last month battery capacity fell below 10%, it stopped charging. So I ordered a new one and received the battery this week (2021-05-05). After receiving the new battery, I replaced the old battery and plugged the charger. Without waiting for it to fully charge, just to see if the battery was getting detected, I turned on the system. It showed 86% battery available and also indicated that it is charging, so I shut down the system and kept it for charging. After an hour or so I checked to see if the battery indicator turned green, it was still yellow. The surface of the battery was pretty hot at this point. So, I immediately unplugged the charger and took the battery out and allowed it to cool down. After some time, I reinstalled the battery and turned it back on (without connecting the charger). This time it showed 10% battery. I thought it would be due to the battery change, so to allow the battery to fully charge I shut down the system and plugged the charger. Again allowed it to charge, this time I checked the battery temp (by touching the surface) at regular intervals but didn't find any heating issue. After waiting for more than 40 minutes, I turned it on (plugged in state) , but it was still showing 10%. Then I disconnected the charger, to see if the battery was draining or not, after 2 - 3 minutes of usage, the battery charge dropped by 1% (9%). Also I noticed one strange thing, that is the battery indicate icon is not showing any indication of charging. It stayed still and shows battery percent 8% available (plugged in). Its been over two days since I installed this battery, it is still showing 8% available (plugged in) I checked the board to see if there are any issues, didn't find any damage. Hi there, basically my question is, if I get a Barebone keyboard that's in ISO layout, do I get ISO-DE layout with the correct keycaps and language setting in Windows or is that basic ISO with just the large enter? Kind of a dumb question but anyways...

Hi! I was wondering if someone could recommend Full size boards for a build. I am looking for barebone boards. Either 96% or 100% At this point I have the GMMK 2 and Keychron Q6 noted. I know the options are limited, hence my post. Thank you in advance!

I just cleaned up some of my room and found an old GPU that I took from my uncle's beast laptop (ages ago). Back then, I didn't know what this was or what it did since the design isn't like the desktop GPUs. I then cleaned it and tried to find the exact model and what it's worth but I didn't find much. Only that it's an 8800M with 512MB, if I'm not wrong of course. I don't have any use for this but someone might have and from what I know, the GPU is working fine. I also got it's original heatsink. Can you guys tell me which model this actually is and if it's worth anything today? Thanks!

So, I am officially crazy... I bought 26 Powermacs (G5) And I modded them ALL They are now ready for ATX and mATX Mainboards… But why 26? Did I mention I was crazy?! (And they were only sold together…) I modded G5 Cases before – They kind of became my passion. This time I wanted everything to be perfect: - Keep as much of the original design as possible - Cut as less as possible - Since it is impossible to find a G5 Case without dents and scratches, I wanted to paint them, freshly. I am done now and it is time to share my experiences: It was a rough 6 months from start to finish. The project kept me busy during all of the winter. I worked every weekend on it, till late. I need to apologize… …to my family for occupying their workshop, guest rooms and garages …to my friends for neglecting them during the last months …to the dogs and the cat for waking them up from their afternoon nap every now and then (because of the metalwork-noise). I hope to be able and show everybody that it was worth it - And that someone out there is appreciating the work, as well. Back me up, guys - Spread the love :-) I believe in Apples high quality and the unique design of Sir Jony Ive My mods include a preinstalled power supply (and even watercooling on some) Countless hours of work and high-quality components & tools were used Of course, you can come and have a look if you are near the South of Germany (or the North of Switzerland).

I purchased an upgradable laptop Azom Exigo form a local dealer (azom.systems) and it came with an LG LP156WF6-SPB1 display. I am planning to upgrade it to a 120 Hz Gsync one. What are my options so that I won't lose the quality of LG LP156WF6-SPB1 and also get 120 Hz Gsync experience? and the barebone used for the laptop is Clevo P150SMA

So I'm an assistant for a technology director at a local school where I live. We had bought a barebones Intel server off of Newegg as a remote backup and installed FreeNAS onto it. All the drives were put into a RAID 6 I believe. Over the summer the maintenance crew came in and stored the computer for around a month up on a self with no power. We came back after the summer to get things ready for the coming year and the computer says something along the lines of (NAS device, cannot boot, no boot drive) and all of our drives are now listed separately. Neither of us know fully what we are doing in the area of RAID and server computing. If I could get any help on this it would be much appreciated. This backup server really needs to go into use. I'm gonna post some pictures for background. Any help is needed. If you don't know please bring in people who can help. Also I may have hit the little ID button pictured below on the front panel. I have no idea what it does and that might have also screwed it up.

Hey guuuuuuys! This is Sauron! Jokes aside, ToT posted this video on this new barebone (the version they reviewed was complete already though, hence the "plus") which imo looks pretty cool, so if you're into this type of things it might be what you're looking for. It's still a bit expensive considering it doesn't have a dedicated gpu, although I'm not sure where they could have fit one considering the size of it. Still, I don't think you can get anything more for this price in this form factor. The funny thing is that it looks nice and it has slightly better specs that that "cheap" iMac we've seen come out recently, but it's 500$, meaning you spare 600$ compared to the mac, 400 if you need to buy a screen for it... considering the argument most people held against me when i said the imac was overpriced was that you can't really get a comparable desktop in so little space with such good design, I brought proof that you can! I wouldn't buy it because I like big, price/performance friendly tower pcs, so this isn't for me, but it might be for you...
