Hey everyone, I have a question. I am running an AMD Ryzen 2700, an Asus ROG Strix X470-F GAMING, and an RTX 3060 12GB. As of recent update to bios version 5851, I noticed there was an option for Resizable Bar in the Bios. What I found odd and wanted to ask, Did Asus do something to allow for resizable bar to be possible for Ryzen 2700? Should I try and see if I can enable it and what happens? Also according to CPU-Z it shows PCIe 4.0, but GPU-z shows "Bus Interface PCIe x16 4.0 @ x16 3.0. If I enable resizable bar, does this 4.0 mode just get turned on? If someone could clear up this question and mystery for me, I'd appreciate it!

Has anyone noticed the new YouTube top bar on videos? It looks pretty cool, but I think it might be only for mobile. (Add it to PC maybe?)

does the A320I-K and MSI GeForce GTX 1060 support SAM/BAR?

Hello all, I have a question. I have this nice 4000 joules surge protection power bar I am using. I just bought a UPS with surge protection, however the joules arent as high as my power bar. Is it okay to run the power bar on the UPS with only my computer plugged into it? Id like that extra joules.

Hey guys, I currently have the Logitech z506 5.1 surround sound, but I really only use the Left/Right Fronts, Center, and Sub woofer. So I have been thinking about just buying a Sound Bar to go on my desk underneath my 2 mounted monitors. If you've done it, I'd like to hear your thoughts on how you like it, also some pics! For those that haven't done it, what do you guys think are some pros/cons for buying a soundbar for my PC?

I have been debating if I should replacey JBL Bar 5.1 sound bar with a newer sound bar that is compatible with Dolby Atmos. I plan on mounting the sound bar to the TV wall mount itself. I was originally looking at either the Vizio 5.1.4 sound bar system or the Sony HTZ9F sound bar since I get $200 off the $899 price tag and then add the two rear speakers at a later date. I had looked at the LG and the Samsung bars and they are not recommending that I mount the bar under the TV. Sony Htz9f: https://www.sony.com/electronics/sound-bars/ht-z9f Vizio 5.1.4: https://www.vizio.com/sb46514f6.html

Hi, I've been working on my website, stumbled on a issue. I want my nav bar to stick at top as a user scrolls down the page. I can't seem to resolve it. A little help will be greatly appreciated. Not a huge deal, but I figured I would ask here and see if anyone knows a solution or even the cause. Whenever I leave my computer running for a few days at a time, locking whenever I'm away, some of my taskbar icons end up gettting blurry, and it worsens over time. Probably hard to tell, but that is the Corsair iCUE icon to the left of the Razer one. It isn't limited to third party either, because Windows Defender do it too, but not OneDrive, for example. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I'm looking for a surge protector to plug my pc into. It has an 850 watt power supply and I was wondering what power bar / surge protector I should get. I'm not sure what the specs are for these surge protectors (like this one supports up to 700w and stuff like that) so could someone explain all this to me? Thanks

Hi, I currently have 1080p 23,6' monitor and I want to create black bars for my screen and lower the resolution to make it act like 21:9 or 19.5' 900p to test it out for some time because I need to buy a new monitor because this is family PC and I need a monitor for myself. I wanna see how it's to play on a lower size and resolution. I lower the resolution but the image scales acording to it and I looked out to ned but couldnt find it. There is good deal 19,5' 900p monitor and it has DVI but this 23,6' I have has only VGA. And what do you think about second hand monitors? Thank you people Or like this.

Hi there, I saw Linus' build log where they painted the Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM. I would love to paint mine black and green in the same way. I can paint the top parts black, no problem. But how in the world are you supposed to paint those light bars? They're supposed to transfer the light, if you paint them with plasti-dip how is the light gonna go through there? Has anyone tried changing the colour on these things?

Hello, I just noticed this weird black bar on the side of the YouTube video player whenever I maximize the video (not full screen). It's really bugging me and I have updated everything to Adobe Flash and Chrome. I don't know what's causing it to have that black bar. Here is the picture so show what I am explaining to you. Also I am not sure if a topic like this was already started because I don't know how to search in the forum, I tried using the search feature on the top right but it just led me straight to Google. Thanks for the help!

I want to have a black theme going on my Windows 10, I already applied the theme that allows you to color your title bar with the accent color, but I can't get the text in the title bar to be white. Any ideas? I know this was an issue with Windows 8(.1) too.

Hi guys, Because there isn't that great of a selection of usb sensor bars (at least in Germany), I wanted to built one by myself. This is my first try doing something like this and wanted to ask for some advice to be on the safe side. I want to use 4x Osram LD274 LEDs (datasheet: http://www.reichelt.de/index.html?&ACTION=7&LA=3&OPEN=0&INDEX=0&FILENAME...) , and power it by USB (5V; 100mA ?) With this setting (see picture below) each "lane" would be at 50mA (?), and therefore I would need 46Ohm resistors, but there are only 43 and 47Ohm available, which of those should i get? Did I forget something, or is this drawing completely wrong? I don't want to short out the LEDs Help would be much appreciated, and sorry for possible grammar mistakes^^.

I have a bit of an unusual question. I do a lot of traveling to places where a data connection is iffy and/or ludicrously expensive, so having my smartphone along for the trip is cumbersome and just unnecessary. Basically i'm looking for a small bar phone, kinda like that nokia pic below, and in need of recommendations of what to get/is it available on ebay/amazon/etc. The catch is that i really want my SMS messages to be threaded.... All suggestions greatly appreciated!

So i've had this issue for awhile but turned a blinded eye because it only recently got to a point where it's starting to become really frustrating. Time to time when i press the shift key down, the stabilizer bar some how prevents it from pressing down all the way. Im guessing it was not made properly to stay out of the way under the hooks, so my question is, can i just get rid of the damn thing? or will this cause more problems?

Preface: I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to customizing Android So basically this icon (which is supposed to be Chrome) just appeared within the last day or so, and I don't know how to fix it. See 3rd icon in Launch Bar (Android figure with a box). It doesn't launch anything, either. How do I get rid of it and get Chrome back there? For reference, I'm using Nova Launcher Prime for my home screen but HTC's stock lock screen. The Launch bar is as follows: Phone, Messages, Chrome, HTC Camera Any help is appreciated.
