Hello everyone, i would like to share an experience i had with EA hoping I'm not the only one. I never used EA much, the only reason why i interacted with it was because of Xbox game pass Out of nothing in August 2023 i recive an email saying that my whole account was banned permanently, no reason given. So, i appealed. They reversed the ban instantly. And i kept going on with my life, not using EA much anyway. In September of the same year, still out of nothing, still with no reason given, they ban me again. I appealed and they did not unban me, and i understand that i may have done something wrong or against ToS. But guys... what exactly? I don't cheat, insult, hack or whatever, i don't use their services more than trying Battlefield. I made many appeals to that ban, not to be unbanned, but every time, i was asking to know the reason why I'm banned. I recently even contacted the EA Answer HQ to have a response but again i had no reply on what i was asking for. So, months after i have no idea why i can't use their services anymore, they don't want to read the messages i send. Am i asking for something stupid? Is it ok to ban without giving a reason? I don't know... maybe I'm wrong.

I don't remember ever being banned, I probably left it a long time ago. But now that I'm rejoining it, it shows up for a split second before disappearing. I looked in my DMs for any logs if I've ever been banned, but haven't found anything from the bot. I also don't get a banned message whenever I attempt to join the server.

My Discord account was hacked and my friends messaged me this morning telling me if my discord was hacked. I checked and all of my friends we spammed with a link to some site. But the worst part is that all of the servers I was a member of Permanent Banned me. I immediately changed my password to something more obscure and unused. But is there any way I can try revoke my permanent ban. Or should I just create a new account?

Okay so I got HWID banned for injecting a skin changer on Fortnite. I paid the consequences, learned my lesson and bought a whole new rig. Never hacked other than that, and won't ever make that mistake over cosmetics haha. sorry I know how the community feels about hackers and I apologize for injecting! That being said, can I use my HWID banned PC as a dedicated streaming pc? I'm just worried that if I connect my new pc to my banned PC whether it be a video capture card connection or through something easier like elgato hd60 that uses usb and hdmi. will doing any of this get my new PC banned? cause again not ever going to hack or inject I learned my lessons and I dont want my new pc banned after spending a couple grand on it! thanks so much, sorry again I'm not considering selling the banned pc as in good conscience I cant sell it to anybody if it isn't fully functional with every game, especially so close to christmas

Now that DJI is band form the us ( correct me but I think it’s a full ban) how will the us drone maker react? Will new company’s take over?

I like to know Huawei smartphone users' experience after Huawei got banned in US. I am shopping for a new phone and I am planning to try a Huawei phone, but I have some questions. Is the ban only applicable for Huawei? How about other Chinese brands, like ZTE, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme, Vivo, etc. Newly released Huawei phones won't have Google Apps pre-installed? Can I install Google Apps manually? Would you still buy another Huawei phone if you're going to upgrade?

Summary Lufthansa argues that baggage trackers fall in the category of portable electronic devices, and are therefore subject to dangerous goods regulations issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). This is specifically because of the transmission function. Lufthansa claims that the transmission function needs to be turned off during flight when in checked luggage, just as is required for cell phones, laptops, etc. Quotes My thoughts Lufthansa isn't exactly a customer-friendly airline, and the airline has had an awful summer when it comes to lost bags. AirTags empower travelers in terms of knowing exactly where their bags are. People have publicly shamed Lufthansa on twitter for not knowing when the owner knows the exact location. Now Lufthansa has banned them. Summary The US government is implementing an export ban to halt the sale of top-of-the-line AI chips to Chinese firms. This stems from the growing tensions over Taiwan. In addition to NVidea, AMD has received a similar demand for it’s top AI chips. Only 3 chips overall were cited in the article (A100, upcoming H100, and AMD’s M1250). Quotes My thoughts This is a big escalation by the US in a situation that many were hoping would settle down and go away. The deterioration of relations between the United States and China is very likely past the point of no return at this point, and we are now well into the beginning of the Second Cold War. As with the First Cold War, technology will be a major, if not even more important, part of the arms race as it progresses. Technology is firmly entrenched in the social fabric of both the Eastern and Western worlds, and that which has the superior tech will see advantages in every facet of the conflict. Frankly, I’m surprised it took until now for such tech export bans to occur. China’s aspirations have been obvious for decades, and the current decline in relations began well before the current rise in tensions over Taiwan. However, I’m concerned about the efficacy of such a ban. China has been engaging in tech espionage for decades (ie. Huawei’s use of Nortel tech). Given this level of espionage as well as their developing indigenous tech sector, they might not need western chip designs anymore. This leads to the matter of production. It is already suspected that a significant part of China’s desires on Taiwan stem from the incredible tech manufacturing industry that company has developed. With this in mind, could such a ban by the USA simply expedite China’s plans for an invasion of Taiwan? And if so, is the ban helping the situation in any way, or making it even worse? So I posted some memes that didn't break the rules which were funny memes to do with the Coronavirus toilet roll panic buying and I was banned without warning or anything. I feel my ban from the server was uncalled for and too stringent, my memes were not offensive in any way and I've shown respect to everyone and had never had any drama.

Had been permanently banned in fortnite for using vpn (which doesn’t come to the merits), what happens is this, I contacted epic games support and managed to unban my account, but my PC is still banned, I tried to chat with support and said they couldn't remove the ban from my machine. Since then I have tried all possible methods (none involving physical parts of my PC, as I play on a laptop) to be able to use my PC to play fortnite again (including hwid spoofer), and all have failed. I have an SSD and an HDD on my computer, and I saw somewhere on the internet that simply changing them would remove my hwid ban, but I couldn't connect them again to my PC, even to use a removable disk. I was thinking about buying a new HDD and discarding my old ones, but I didn't want to spend money without being sure, I wonder if this really works or does the hwid ban go much further? It is not an IP ban, as I can play on other devices connected to the same wifi network. My account is no longer banned, I can play on other devices as well. Whenever I try a new method I create a new account at epic games to make sure the accounts used previously did not interfere with anything.

first of all, I can swear on my life every word I say is based on fact and the best of my knowledge, I never, ever used any cheats, micro of any sort, on any game, ever. (probably except for when I was about 10 playing red alert2 single player) this is the BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER, THANKS PUBG! It all started on April 23 2020, where I was kicked off in the middle of a game while playing with a mate, claiming: BattleEye: Disallowed Program [VMware]. Now, as a computer enthusiast, I know about vmware, and its many use cases, however, I have never heard of it being used for cheating. However, the strange part is, I DO NOT have it installed on my computer, or any computer on my network. I uninstalled any software on my computer that not absolutely needed (among others, there were some software for my old windows phone drivers that I tried to unlock bootloader and do some experiements on a few weeks back), removed any virtual network adapter (comes with stock windows) and none helped. nothing helped. Eventually I decided to download the latest version of windows and do a fresh install, and it still happened. As a responsive human being that really enjoy having fun with friends playing this game, I did everything I can think of that might be able help with the situation and pin down the cause, I made a list of all the running processes, all the services I have on the computer, and all the installed programs with their version numbers. Sorry if I sound a little frustrated in the post, cuz I really was. I was playing squad and got kicked off in the middle for no reason. How can one not be? a few days went by, people starting to reply that they had a similar experience, someone asked if I had hyper-v, then I replied with a screenshot that indicates that I do not have hyper-v, docker, also uninstalled WSL which I actually needed. I even ran a command in powershell to remove the whole hyper-v (Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-All) that also didn't help at all. after many discussion on how pubg falsely detects vmware, even on a fresh install, a staff member came in replying (which he later deleted): if you even just read the title, you'd know, THIS IS NOT ABOUT REMOVING VMWARE!! will you not be mad? is this the level of support we are expecting? if you are just replying based on keyword then even modern ai can do a much better job! later on, I quoted his reply with something goes like this: I do not have a screenshot nor do I remember the exact words because apparently he's intelligent enough to delete my reply as well. However, this is where I believe I crossed him. Later, he replied: I had my hesitation for a brief moment, but I'd never imagined that he would be so disgusting as to just ban me for pointing out a bug on their end (a little harshly I admit). So I replied with my id, if they could gather any data they may think helpful, I'd be happy to help. and now as i thought he's actually trying to do his job and trying to help, I already felt bad for being a bit rude earlier. However, this is what happened. I did a fresh install of the release version of windows, and first game in (where I had one kill, which is more kill than most of my game), without any inspection, warning, I was banned, permanently. (the reason I was on insider build is, as I mentioned, I need to access WSL(2, for better performance), and that I'm a developer and the release version of windows doesn't recognize the new line break symbol from linux/unix machine) I'm not even a remotely skilled player, I'm just occasionally playing with friends for fun. I'm probably the one made up your kd, there are many many cheaters roaming around. just that day (my birthday if I may add), my whole squad was killed by some guy shooting AK, without a line of sight, shoulder sighting the sky. He's not even looking at our direction! (match link) 1589421556726.mp4 video recorded by friend, I was the last person that killed in the clip. I play on a laptop from 2015, (if that's not frustrating enough), and my games were ruined countless times by cheaters, and since 2017 when I first started playing the game, I never felt so disappointed, frustrated and angry. For someone never cheated, I am now forever marked as a "cheater" and have a stain on my profile that will never wash away, Also, just a number on pubg's monthly report for banned cheaters? is that what's it for? Being a custom support (or Assistant Community Coordinator in my case) does not mean that you can abuse your power, play god or just ban whoever you feel like. Is this the image PUBG want to build?? Being a good citizen, I immediately contacted pubg support and issued a ticket: I will need an answer for this, or I'll do everything I can to defend my right, as a gamer, as a human. I will NOT allow this injustice to happen. everything is on the table, including legal actions.

Hello, I tried joining the discord server a while ago but it says that I'm banned. I am confused right now as I havent joined the server before nor have I created a discord account before. I just created one today as I wanted to hang out with friends, etc. If someone could help me out, that would be great. It is kind of usual for me to get this on minecraft servers as I am using my villa's wifi network so it is like shared by 12 people but never got this in discord till now. PS: My discord tag is Doggo#3054

Some background info before, I'm a guy living in the UAE for the past 5 years, and I'm a regular user of services like Discord, Skype and Teamspeak, mostly because the games that I play and the people I play with make use of these services. Around 28th of March I noticed something odd, where I would get connected to discord voice servers but if I talked, it would sound robotic to the other people in the same room as me. Me and my mates thought it was just a internet problem since we have a lot of them and they take forever to get resolved purely because the ISP has TERRIBLE customer service but that's another topic on its own. So, a couple of days later the problem isn't resolved and that's when me and everybody on the same ISP realized that they were blocking the port used for outgoing voice on discord. Now the ISP that does that (Etisalat) has had a history with VoIPs. They blocked off Skype a few years ago because it was "unauthorized" to operate in the UAE without a valid licence, and Skype was unblocked after it got the licence from the UAE government. They used the same reason for blocking off Discord, that the VoIP service they are providing do not agree with UAE law and are so blocked off. Here is the link to one of the tweets in the replies you can also see that they are saying that it was blocked because it provides unlicensed VoIP service. Here is a news article about it One of the shiekhs from the royal family (the rulers of the UAE) took this into notice too but after almost a month of this incident, no action has been taken. And to make matter worse, a few days ago they blocked off TeamSpeak as well. A reddit article for more information about the TeamSpeak ban. Now according to this a discord representative said that they are trying to work it out but so far no new information has come out yet. There is one more ISP that operates within UAE called DU which has not applied these bans YET, but they usually follow suit. Hoping this gets discussed in the WAN Show because I really want more people to know about this so they do something about it!

Users of hacked/jailbroken 3DS consoles have unfortunately found them on the wrong end of the Nintendo ban-hammer recently. Many users of custom 3DS firmware (also known as CFW). Have been banned from any 3DS online services, as stated by Kotaku. I was first made aware of the news through the /r/3dshacks subreddit. There is megathread/faq regarding the issue here. I quickly became worried as I have my 3DS hacked to run emulators (namely for old gba games that I still own) and hacking my animal crossing town once in a while. Fortunately I was one of the few not affected by the initial ban and thusly have disabled wifi on my device as a precaution. Some users have found temporary workarounds to get unbanned by changing their device friend seed. But until we're sure how Nintendo is determining which consoles to ban and prevent is (eg by filtering out which telemetry data the console reports), its advised against doing this as Nintendo could just detect and ban the newly changed seeds. There are also posts on GBAtemp speculating the possible criteria for being banned here and here. The working theories are that Nintendo has been scanning through telemetry data the 3DS sends and then flagging any consoles with non-authorized apps (e.g. homebrew system tools, emulators, custom roms, etc). It's also been speculated that this might be a reaction to the recent release of sighax/boot9strap, which gives users access to the 3ds early on in the boot process and allows for greater control over all elements of the hardware/software (including device encryption keys). Nintendo's comment on the issue has been limited to citing a ban as consequence for terms of service violations. While some are citing this as an anti-piracy measure, it stills fail in that regard as users are still fully able to install and play pirated games, though offline.

So, today the government of India banned BS3 grade fuel in the whole nation and the registration of BS3 vehicles, making BS3 grade vehicle sellers to sell those vehicles at heavy discounts. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/auto/miscellaneous/supreme-court-bans-sale-of-bs-iii-vehicles-from-april-1/articleshow/57891089.cms Here you can get info about it. The main question is, I have a BS3 grade vehicle, will I be able to use it with BS4 fuel, will there be any consequences ? and most importantly, I could not understand what BS is? This may be only for Indian members only..

Hi LTT Forum. My router's WAN/IPv4 address recently got banned from a site because i used an auto refresher to monitor its activity. I'm using a router (Thomson TWG870), so no point in changing my computer's IP over cmd. I tried some things to change it but nothing worked yet: -Turning router off over night (hoping to get a new one in the morning). -Renewing the WAN lease while beeing disconnected from the internet (multiple times). I heard that it's possible by changing the MAC address (MAC spoofing), but most of the people i've talked to don't recommend it. Any other things i could try or maybe missed out on? Thanks in advance

So we all know that Ryzen loves fast RAM. But the question is, does it work better with fast RAM because of the faster clock, therefore giving it faster response time, or because the faster clock give it bigger bandwidth. If because of the bandwidth, would theoretically having 4x4GB configuration be better that 2x8GB. Thank you

First news post, hope I did it correctly . Article link ----> https://www.theverge.com/2017/7/6/15930928/qualcomm-requests-iphone-import-ban This is interesting really, I don't follow these things usually but this caught my attention. The two companies seem to be in a legal battle regarding anti-competitive practices. The article is short so im going to find some other sources in the mean time. Edit/addition: A video if you are the type of person that likes watching the news and a longer article that gives more information on the topic: ----> http://www.cnbc.com/2017/07/06/qualcomm-sues-over-alleged-apple-iphone-patent-infringement.html

Russia has banned VPNs and other software that enables users to gain anonymous access to websites. The new law was signed by President Vladimir Putin on Monday and will come into effect on November 1st (via TechCrunch). Leonid Levin, chairman of the Duma's committee on information policy and technology, was quotedby state-run media as saying that the new law is not targeted at "introducing new bans for law-abiding citizens" but aims to prohibit access to illegal content. However, privacy advocates see the law as another way for the Russian government to restrict access to political content that it disagrees with. In 2015, it became mandatory for all user data from Russian citizens to be stored in Russian-based servers, and last year another law was passed making it necessary for internet service providers to retain traffic data for up to a year. Recently the government also threatened to block access to the Telegram encrypted messaging platform unless the company that runs the app provides more information about itself. Elsewhere, virtual private networks took another blow over the weekend, as reports emerged that Apple has removed the majority of VPN apps from the App Store in China, following regulations passed earlier in the year that require such apps to be authorized by the Chinese government. The action was first revealed by ExpressVPN, a provider based outside of China. The company said in a blog post that "all major VPN apps" including its own had been removed from the App Store. The company shared a note from Apple explaining that its app was removed because "it includes content that is illegal in China". A few hours later, Apple issued a statement to TechCrunch explaining its decision to pull the apps from the App Store: Earlier this month, China reportedly started blocking some features of the WhatsApp messaging service, as authorities continued to tighten controls over the country's internet. Via : https://www.macrumors.com/2017/07/31/russia-bans-vpns-apple-pulls-apps-china/ VPN's are illegal in China, and starting on November 1st it'll be illegal to use a VPN in Russia. Apple's hands are tied, they can't do anything about it, it's the law of the land.

So I was just chilling on my computer when I got a message from a random guy. He said he needed help with a csgo gambling website and if I deposited 5 dollars he could make me money, blah, blah, blah the usual scam stuff. I took this opportunity to mess with him. I agreed, but didn't click his suspicious link. About a minute later I told him that his scamming was pathetic and he was pathetic. I then proceeded to spam him a bit with w w w w. He then said "Nice spam, ez report." even though I had already reported him for attempted trade scam. My question is: can I be banned off of steam for spamming people with private messages? You can be banned for game invite spam, group invite spam, and link spam, but this was just some letter spam. If someone was spamming someone else they could easily just block them. Any knowledge on the subject is appreciated as I've spent countless dollars on my account and am really nervous that it's all going to go away. Thanks LTT forum!

I want to buy a new phone and I was looking at the Huawei Y6 (2019), but after the ban I am not sure if I will be able to use google services later so I am asking here if anyone knows if they will still work on this phone after I buy it. P.S. Sorry for my bad English

I was recently banned from the LTT discord server with this reason attached: "troll who harrased, annoyed and lied to moderators to ban another person" The only activity that I've really had in the server so far was dealing with a troll who I was talking to and then the troll was joking that they were 12. The troll was threatening me and generally just being rude and a mod showed up and I told the mod what was going on. The mod said to dm them with proof and I wasn't really able to seeing as either that mod or a different one decided that that was a good point in time to purge the chat. The only thing that I had was a screenshot of the troll breaking discord ToS by joking about and claiming to be 12. The troll got banned and everything was good, but now just about 10 minutes ago I got a message from the LMG Showboat bot on discord saying I was banned. I never harassed anyone and I never annoyed or lied to moderators. How can I dispute this ban? Images below showing that I never harassed any mods or lied
