Hey everyone, I was wondering if you can help me find keyboards with as many of these features as possible? Here's what I got already."Red Dragon demon Rainbow backlit gaming keyboard" Equivalent (Andersson (A Swedish brand that uses the design of other companies) IDK 2.0). Full with numpad and Nordic layout (Not tenkey less/60%/other) <Required>. Short keycaps (Laptop-like keys) <Required>. Blue or white backlit through the letters/characters <Required>. Quiet (I'm very sensitive to all noise and it physically hurts me because my eardrum moves weirdly at certain frequencies and decibels) <Required>. Built in, detachable wrist rest or recommend me one to go with it <Required>. RGB <Optional but the control must be software in that case>. Windows key moved to the right and replaced by "Fn" <Optional>. Wireless <Optional but must be rechargeable through USB in that case>. Macro buttons <Optional>. Shortcuts <Optional>. Now to what it doesn't have and won't have any use for ever. Shortcuts (Only used them to test what they do and NOT impressed, so haven't found a use for them and since most if not all can't be bound to something else, I just don't care for it). Volume control (I have the RME Babyface as my soundcard and it has a hardware wheel that's separate from Windows' volume control. So if there is a version without it, I'd rather have you link that in that case). Touchpad. Mechanical (They're sticking out too high that you might as well would've gone with a normal keycap anyway, I despise the normal keycaps, personal preference, sue me :P ). Quality of the keypress can be as mushy as it wants, I don't care as long as they register, I also like the mush because it allows me to use it for longer sessions because it's softer and doesn't send micro vibrations, or at least not as bad of micro vibrations as say mechanical when you bottom out because of the lack of rubber at the bottom of the key. Please post it like this to make it easier for me, example: " 'The link' if it ticks all the required boxes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (Other feature it might have) 1, 2, 3, 4 " Thanks for reading it, thanks for the help and I'm sorry for the wall of text.

So I found a great monitor which has two versions: Edge-lit: €104.80 Backlit: €122.90 Since I'm on a budget, those type of price differences do matter. Can someone explain me why Backlit is better than Edge-lit (At least, that's what I've heard) AND if it's actually worth the extra €18.- The monitor is 1920x1080 @ 75Hz (Yes, at the native resolution I'm sure) if that matters. Thanks!

So I just got my GIGABYTE P57w v6 and it was supposed to have a backlit keyboard(it even has a sticker saying so). However even when I press the function(Fn) key + spacebar(supposed to be the backlight key) nothing happens. I tried pressing them together, one after the other, holding and pressing and nothing. The only thing I can remember is uninstalling a bunch of bloatware and maybe, possibly having uninstalled something related to the backlit keyboard? If that is the case then could someone tell me which software I need to install to get the lights on? Thanks in advance, Yours Saddly Without Backlit Keyboards

At time of posting, there are 3 in stock. I bought this on march 1st, and have used it a little bit. Blue backlight on most keys, orange backlight on WASD, and Arrow keys. Apparently it is difficult to set up macros on it but it is a $53 keyboard with MX Browns. It has 2 USB plugins, one is for USB (2.0?) pass through. Also has microphone and headphone pass through. Backlight brightness can be adjusted, there is also a breathing light option. https://www.amazon.com/Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-Brown-antighosting/dp/B00TZ9K3C2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1489960123&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=cherry+MX+brown+phantom+warrior&psc=1

Help me find a Wireless Ergonomic Back lit keyboard for my boss
JayTay posted a topic in Peripherals
Ok so I work at a software company and my boss asked me to find him a keyboard that is ergonomic since he codes 8 hours a day, Backlit because he does not like to turn on lights, and he would like it to be wireless so he can move it around as he likes. He currently has a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate and loves it but he says that it is starting to stress his hands and he is having to cut down the time the codes because of the lack of ergonomic curve. I looked for this mythical unicorn before Christmas and I had to report to him that it does not exist. He approached me last week and again I had nothing to show him. So if anyone knows of a keyboard like this please help me. Help me find this unicorn!!!- 6 replies

I need help finding a keyboard. I like the blue switches or click kind, and would prefer a volume wheel and wrist rest. I would be fine without those specifications, but they would be nice to have. I would like to have a black keyboard that can have RGB or back lighting for gaming if possible, but I can't find any that are good or worth their price. Any suggestions would be nice. Thank you.

I bought a backlit usb keyboard yesterday, and it works great, but I have one issue with it. When I shut down my pc through linux, the lights on the keyboard stay on, but when I shut down my pc through windows, the keyboard properly turns off. Is there any way to properly power off the keyboard before shutting down the pc?

I was curious as to if there is an FPS counter that uses your keyboards back light? Is there something for chroma that displays your in-game FPS on your keyboard?

Wireless Slim Low Width Backlit keys Apple's iMac keyboard I find to be very heavy and a bit mushy to type on. Logitech K810 seems liek the best choice unless there's something else out there.

Hey guys & gals. First topic I'm making here! Just finished making myself a Backlit Keyboard Clock. I like it but I think I should have used diffused LEDs for the backlighting as the current ones seem a bit blinding and can make it difficult to read the time. Maybe if I try again I'll do it as I do have some diffused green LEDs. Anyway, thought I'd share it with you all. (Currently being held with with my helping hands as a stand, actually quite like it.) EDIT: Thanks for moving to the correct board. Wasn't 100% sure when I posted.

Hello everyone, as you might read in the title I am searching for an clicky backlit mechanical keyboard. I hope that some of you can give me some advice and some do's and dont's. I am a developer and I am typing the most of the time I'm at my computer. I did my research and I found out that the Cherry MX Blue switches are the most "clicky" and tactile in the MX-lineup. Furthermore, I found out that those switches (or similar clicky switches) are what I want. I don't really care about volume. Another desired key feature is backlight. The most of the time I am working at night and I don't want to turn on my big desk light. The light emitted by my displays are - as experiments in the past have shown - not enough to illuminate the keyboard well enough so I can see special keys I don't use often. RGB is not necessary, but a really nice-to-have feature. Currently I am using a Logitech G19, which is fairly old now and pretty rundown. What I like at this keyboard is the volume knob. One desired, but not needed feature is a volume knob. I love to have designated media keys. Furthermore I don't want to spend that much money. I can't give a number, but a Das Keyboard - I think - is a bit too pricy for the features. I searched around the internet and found some keyboards. None of them matched my requirements well enough. Maybe I haven't researched enough. Well, I hope that some of you can give me an advice and maybe share some personal experiences. Thanks in advance and have a nice day. Best regards clmeta1

Hi, I just bought a new keyboard and mouse from Pawhits which you can check it here : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076F3CLV4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?smid=ANLTX00MQU3BZ&psc=1. The keyboard is more than what I expected for 20$ and works fine but it doesn't have a software to control it. All the light effects are working but in the Dancing mode (with music) the keyboard light dances with my microphone sound not the music played and since I didn't find a software for it I hope anyone knows a way to fix this. Actually if you guys consider reviewing this keyboard you wont be disappointed.

Hello all, my keyboard died on me so I have started the search for a new one. I'm looking for a full sized backlit mechanical keyboard with bluetooth. My current keyboard was a wireless membrane keyboard that allowed connection with up to four devices via four keys above the number pad, and I would like something similar. If possible I would like to find something that is also low profile. I have only found two keyboards that have these features, and I have listed them below. The Azio keyboard is out of my price range, and the Drevo keyboard seems to be unavailable anywhere I look, and it also seems to have poor reviews. I have looked at other Drevo keyboards, but this seems to be the only one with a number pad. Does anyone have any suggestions for a keyboard? Thanks!! http://www.aziocorp.com/webe/html/products/index2.aspx?num=172 https://www.drevo.net/product/keyboard/joyeuse
