This is a really weird one, I don't know what's going on anymore, it's only happening since I "offset voltage overclocked " my CPU, but the weird part is it also happens now without the OC, I'm sure it's somehow connected to my overclocking though, I just really don't understand why it *only* happens when opening / using certain programs... I can play games for hours and no "WHEA" errors at all... Also please don't panic, those are correctable hardware errors, so the PC isn't crashing and it's also not noticeable (I think). What's weird though, I've lost around 500 + points in Firestrike, also without the CPU voltage offset override (I believe that's the correct technical term.. ) Any ideas what's causing this, especially thousands of errors just for opening Afterburner doesn't really make (any) sense to me?

I am running a Ryzen 1300x on this mobo. Thought I would give it a boost to a Ryzen 5 5600x as I have a GTX 1050 dedicated card. If I am reading the specs correctly, the board has to have Bios 7A39v2N, which I have already done, and it seems the limit on the ram speed is 3200mhz (I currently have 2400mhz x 2 x 4 GB) Not sure if the ram difference is worth a change. Does this sound okay?

Alright, after 4 years well served, my Asus B350-f Gaming mobo finally let me down... I think. A few weeks ago I bought a GTX 970 on ebay for a friend and tested it in my PC beforehand to make sure it was stable. ever since then I would get random BSOD every 20 minutes to an hour with stopcodes "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA" or "UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP". I thought this was a ram issue so I RMA'd my ram with Corsair (Vengence RGB Pro 3000mhz) but no improvement. I start moving dimms to different slots and found slot 4 specifically is unstable. moved each dimm to slots 1 and 3 and while my PC is now stable, i'm capped at 2133mhz and there is a static yellow LED on the mobo and i'm not sure what to do from here. My 1700x has been rock solid for me since I got it and have no intentions of upgrading especially in this market. Is my motherboard dead or is there anything else I can do to remedy my ram speed? (yes I have the fake dimm lighting kit. it's still a 8x2gb kit. don't judge, it hasn't made any difference in stability from what I can tell)

This is the mobo https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350M-MORTAR#down-driver&Win10 64 Installed this version : 7A37v1K which was released after my previous version (7A37v1E) so it should support the CPU. Tried resetting CMOS, still stuck on CPU, I'll try again but if that doesnt work I dont know...? Also there was no outage whatsoever, BIOS seemed to install fine, rebooted automatically and nothing since then. Specs: Ryzen 3600 , RTX 3070, 16GB Corsair Venegance, RMi 650 Any ideas how I can fix this, or is that it? lol Edit: ok so I removed the battery for 25 minutes, still stuck on "CPU" CPU power etc is connected, all fans spin

Building a new computer for a friend, won't boot. Not my first time, so I know the ins and outs like "is the power cable plugged in?" "make sure the right cable is in the cpu" "did you restart the computer" "take out the battery and try after a couple minutes" tryed all that! Still no POST. CPU: Ryzen 5 1400 MOBO: MSI B350m gaming pro RAM: Crucial DDR4-2133 UDIMM GPU: EVGA GTX 1050 ti

Just wanting to throw a quick question out there about the compatability of Corsair Dominator memory with the MSI B350M Mortar Arctic.. do they work? I know they are not on the QVL, but will they still work, even if not at full speed? Also.. What memory are you using with your Mortar Arctic? I've got everything down for my build but memory..

Hey guys! I'm upgrading my fx6300 for a r5 1600, and I'm thinking of getting the msi b350m pro-vdh. However, i didnt find a single review of this mb online (at least in english). I dont intend to overclock my cpu, but if i do it will be minimal overclock. Finally, ill be using 3200MHz ddr4 2x8gb and might add the other 2x8 later on (since the mb supports it), oh and ill never use more than 1 gpu. I think this mb would be enough for this build, but pls help me! If possible i would really appreciate if some one could tell me more about this mobo. (I dont really have the knowledge of a pro pc builder, but i do get most of the basic stuff.)

I'm experiencing an issue with my media server where it is crashing every few hours, with nothing out of the ordinary being logged. You may find all the troubleshooting I've already attempted here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/80209-parity-check-randomly-starting. Feel free to let me know if I can provide any more information to help in figuring this out.

Hello, I have a MSI Mortar Arctic B350M that I bought used a year or so ago. The seller had a BIOS password set, that I have not been able to erase. Yes I've reset the CMOS jumper, removed the CMOS battery and all power for 24 hours, etc. I've been using the board with an R6 1600 and would like to upgrade to a R6 3600 but can't because the BIOS isn't up to date. My last resort has been to turn to a BIOS Programmer. Specifically the CH341A w/ 1.8V adapter. My plan is hopefully to read the contents of the BIOS to see if I can either find or edit the BIOS password. If not, then I'm hoping I might be able to flash from the Programmer which would hopefully remove the password or at the very least make it so I can upgrade to a R6 3600 and have what should be the final BIOS revision on the board in perpetuity. The only problem is I'm not sure how to use the programmer with the 1.8v adapter and I cannot find a version of the software that supports the BIOS chip on that board. There are plenty of tutorials on how to use the programmer on it's own, but none that I could find on how to use it with a more contemporary chipset like B350. I've identified the BIOS Chip as: MX25U12873F (https://www.macronix.com/Lists/Datasheet/Attachments/7446/MX25U12873F,%201.8V,%20128Mb,%20v1.2.pdf) From the documentation it looks like the 1.8v adapter will work on the chip, but I don't see the chip anywhere in the software. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Heyo! I've recently built a PC. Though when I boot it up it has the eZ Debug Light on for the CPU. I'm really not sure what the problem is, CPU, BIOS, Mobo? Who knows? If you could, please help! I've already tried the ram slot and one ram stick and clearing CMOS. I'll provide a list of specs. - MSI B350M Gaming Pro - Ryzen 3 1300x - Corsair VS400w - GTX 1050 Ti Thanks!

Hi, I am looking to overclock my ryzen 3 1200, and I understand that MSI released a beta bios to fixed the glitched bios on their B350m gaming pro motherboard. Before I did that I wanted to see if there was any full release bios updates that fixed the voltage problem that was plaguing the out of the box bios. I have no problem with using the beta bios, it just seemed like it has been a long enough time since that beta bios was released (over 13 months ago) that an official bios update would have fixed the issue. Just wanted to know if anyone had heard anything. Thanks.

So I just built my PC it has Ryzen 5 1600 and an MSI B350M mobo and the CPU error light is lighting up and nothing displays on the monitor. Some people on other forums say that you need to update the bios which would require a Ryzen 7 which makes me wanna vomit BC I have no idea how I would get one. Somebody help, please...

Hello guys, this is gonna be my first time building a PC. So I wanna ask you guys for an opinion of my building lists. Ryzen 3 2200G Asrock AB350M Pro4 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Single Channel (Planning to upgrade soon) WD Green 120GB M.2 SSD for OS Seagate Barracuda 1TB I am going to upgrade to GTX 1050 Ti soon since I don't have enough money yet. So yeah.. is it going to bottleneck the system? Total price (GTX 1050 Ti excluded) is about $350 in my country. Thanks. *pardon my english*

I kinda wanna to know if there is a best option for cost/per dollar then the Ryzen 5 1600 with GTX 1070ti I was planning to do a Ryzen 5 1600 stock cooler, with any 1070ti that fits the budget, it came to R$5.145 here in Brazil, close to 1330 US Dollars I choose this set setup for 2k gaming in 60fps I really tried to cheap out the most with what I have available for purchase here, but if you guys have any ideas on how to make this setup even cheaper, I dont pretend to overclock ou change no cooler initially so any type of A320M motherboard is fine (maybe a future upgrade for a B350 with a water cooler) The full setup: Motherboard MSI p/ AMD AM4 A320M GRENADE DDR4 Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600 c/ Wraith Spire, Six Core, Cache 19MB, 3.2GHz (Max Turbo 3.6GHz) AM4 - YD1600BBAEBOX Arctic Silver 5 3,5g AS5-3.5G Memory Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 CL15 Black - HX424C15FB2/8 (2x) SSD Crucial 2.5´ 120GB SATA III 6Gb/s Leituras: 555MB/s e Gravações: 510MB/s - CT120BX300SSD1 HD WD SATA 3,5´ Blue PC 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s - WD10EZEX Fonte Corsair 550W 80 Plus Bronze CX550 - CP-9020121 VGA NVIDIA MSI GEFORCE GTX 1070 TI AERO 8G The case I'll check out later because depending on how the setup may look I'll get a black box (so the setup wont be exposed if ugly) Should I get everything at once? (water cooling, better MB, overcloking, nice design and all) or go with the cheapest and upgrade later on?

Hi, I recently built a Ryzen 5 2400G PC and it doesn't seem to be working well without motherboard drivers. The CD which I got with the mobo has outdated drivers. Drivers for this mobo aren't available on the manufacturer's website (asus website only shows BIOS update and not drivers). A link to all the drivers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So i recently got a Ryzen 5 1600 with a MSI B350m Micro Atx board, once i got everything hooked up I'm getting blue screen when starting up desktop, happens a few minutes after desktop is up, or starting a game. I got kmode exception not handled and bad pool header blue screen error once, but the one that comes up the most is memory management blue screen error. I don't know what could be the problem. I have updated all drivers and BIOS and still I can't play anything with it blue screen. Is it the ram or something else? My specs are AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz Six-Core AM4 Processor MSI B350M Gaming PRO AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB GAMING Video Card EVGA - 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply Gloway Memory DDR4, 8GB(4GBX2) 2400MHz PC4 19200 CL17 1.2V Desktop Ram If anyone can help me i really appreciate it

I Want to buy Ryzen 3 2200g as it's a biggest change coming.I love the concept where AMD came with the Vega Graphics.Iam a E-Sports player and for me 2200g is good choice. But I have a Laptop And I am building my first gaming PC and the news now came that without On-board Bios Update We can't use the Ryzen 3 2200g. But I know if I have a amd processor then First I have to Update that then put my new 2200g. But I am a budget gamer I don't have any Amd Processors and this is my First Build. So I Want to know the Fix of this Problem. And I live in India where no Hardwere shops want to update motherboard and give me. So according to that what I have to do to run this Processor ??? I only want this Processor.

So I had just built a computer for my brother from scratch, and since we want to play Sea of Thieves together, I had got him a ryzen 3 2200g because gpu prices are outrageous now. So I assembled it all together, and then when I turn it on, it all lights up, like fans run, the eclipse p400s is a beautiful case and all. But on my motherboard, the MSI b350m gaming pro, the cpu "EZ debug" light is on. Now I know there is a bios update for the motherboards for the new ryzen apus, and I havent hooked up a monitor to it yet so I don't know if it posts, it might not because it does not detect the cpu. But if it does not post, which is a possibility, how would I go about updating the bios so it doesn't give me the cpu debug light? any ideas? I was thinking bring it to a pc repair shop like microcenter, or bestbuy? I have already attempted to reset the CMOS and Bios with a screwdriver (doing the whole jumping thing with the pins) but to no difference. Need really any help, anyone else build a ryzen apu system and have a solution? like is it as simple as just plugging a monitor in and it posting? (I still don't know if it posts, the monitor is coming later tonight)

Hey, I'm totally new to overclocking and all. I have a ryzen 5 1600 along with msi b350m mortar mobo. I dont have any cooler and have the stock "wraith spire cooler" with it. Can anyone guide me every step Cuz I really wanna over clock it to atleast 3.7 or 3.8 . I know there many ways to OC it like from BIOS, ryzen master, mis gaming app bt I really wanna know which one. I have 8gb single ram stick of adata xpg 2400mhz. Please anyone here can guide me step by step? Like the frequency of ram. Should I change it or not? And all. And what applications should I use before amd after OC to check its stability. Thankyou for your time. Much appreciated.

So, From my old thread that I have had issues with ASRock AB350m Pro4, I've decided to go with different brands instead. Plus, I'm locked to either ITX or Micro ATX since my case is Define Mini C. (Plus, I use another PCI-E slot for my capture card.) Which one do you guys recommend? I've not heard a bad review for both of them yet, and seems like ASUS' VRMs are better. (Last corner question since I need to get my rig up as soon as possible, as I'm using my weird ghetto laptop setup atm.) Parts I have now:
