Found an old AW-840 sound board I never used. The box is beat up but the board is pristine with CD. Should be great as someone's looking to rebuild an older PC. Edit: Will ship to lower 48 for free.

So im thinking on buying an Alienware 13 with OLED screen, but im kind of scared about the burn in issues. I know is to early to judge, but, do the owners have had any issues with their Alienware? Side question. ¿Are there any rumours about a Alienware 15" OLED screen so far?

So as of now, im living in Mexico, and AFAIK, there is no way to buy the new AW 13 around these lands. Fortunately I´ll be in Dubai for christmas and will try to buy it there. Is there any particular place anyone recommend to buy the AW 13? Side question: Im opting for an Alienware as im looking forward to heavy gaming, and the OLED screen with the possibility upgrading with an external card in the future seem quite fitting. Any other recommendation you guys can give?

I have an Alienware m14x r3 that isn't posting. It is driving me insane trying to figure out why it won't post. When i turn it on i get one of two outcomes. Either I get a beep code for CPU (7times) or no beep code and all the RGB lights up and it even detects if it is plugged in or on battery. The CPU fan will eventually turn on and then turn off eventually. The screen doesn't appear to be broken but a new screen didn't fix anything, even an external display doesn't show anything. I also have to add that both of my Alienware laptops won't post or show BIOS on separate monitors, kinda weird, they only display to an external monitor when it boots into something. I sent off the motherboard for repair and got it back still "broken" the place said that it posted for them but I tried it in the same state they sent it to me and got no post. So now I'm starting to think it may be the CPU or GPU. The heat pipes get to about 62C even though it's not posting, also wifi card gets quite hot. That makes me think its a fried CPU but I'm not sure. A new CPU is about $70 for it and at least its socketed so it would be easy to do. Any ideas on what I should also try? Or does a fried CPU not sound right?

Hi After the recent patch for COD AW my game seems to be completely broken ,the game still runs fine but I am getting insane frame drops from what I used to have. Usually I would get 90 fps on every map (I know there is a fps cap of 90) and I would have all my settings on high and the game for me was almost perfect in performance and appearance but now after the update my game constantly drops to 40 and 50 fps,I have a 144hz gaming monitor so dropping from 90 to 40 really makes a difference in the gameplay.Not all the maps are like this but maps like Biolab drop to 40 and then suddenly Comeback is at 90 ,but most of the maps run below 60 fps.I have tried running the game at the lowest settings and resolution and everything on max and there is not a difference in fps at all. Am I the only one that has these problems?Does anyone know how to fix it or is it just a bad patch and I should just hope they release a new one fixing these problems? Any help would be appreciated. Yes, Title says it all. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's developers Sledgehammer Games have had to delay the launch of the first DLC for AW: Havoc on the PC. Sledgehammer recently posted on their Facebook page, Sledgehammer stated, As a kind gesture, Sledgehammer have turned on Double XP for people who wish to play the PC version of the game. The DLC is said to have been postponed to March, although no precise date has been given. - sorry, missed the date being given as March 3rd The Havoc DLC launched to day on the PS3/PS4 successfully without any known issues. The Havoc DLC is to contain the following items: Core, Urban, Sideshow, Drift and Exo Zombies mode Along with some exclusive weapons My Thoughts? I am personally not OK with this. I was excited for this COD as it seemed enjoyable to me as it had new game mechanics. I bought the Season Pass for the DLC. I know Microsoft would have the DLC first as they have an agreement with Activation, but surly if there was an issue to be found, that could have been sorted after the Xbox launch and not a whole month behind. Yes, I understand the devs don't want to ship a broken game, but it really feels like modern games are pushing for more consoles than PC. While yes, I'm not happy, I would rarther them delay it to fix it. My gripe is the fact that this issue was found so late, I'm thinking it should have been found sooner than the launch day and given more notice if it is to be delayed.

Ok so this happens every year (since they removed the console from cod, what was that, mw2?, I stopped playing the new ones) and capped the game at "91" fps. Everyone starts complaining and the same thing come up every time, "Oh why is it 91 fps its such an arbitrary number, why not pick a more used frame rate such as 60, 120 or 144". In fact 91 is actually not arbitrary at all and the other ones actually are (please note i'm not saying 91 is good i'm simply explaining why they use it). To explain we need to go back to the basics, the engine (please also note, they never "change" the engine, it has always been a modified version of the "id Tech 3" or "quake" engine and every time that they say its a "new engine" they really mean they added new stuff source:here). The id Tech 3 engine is quite old now however for most of the underlying parts of the CoD games they will keep the code the same, meaning "bugs" from engine will always be there (why would they re-write the code if its already been written). As the fps part of the game is a integral in the engine then the "bugs" from way back in the day will still be here. The id Tech 3 engine's fps part works with integer (real whole numbers) values that are derived from 1000/x, this means that the engine will ONLY run at "fps's" which are integers from 1000/x (x being any integer below 1000 i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6, etc....). If "x" is a number which would make 1000/x not an integer the division still happens but the number is rounded up to the nearest FPS that DOES allow the division to be an integer. These numbers being 500, 333, 250, 200, 125, 91, 83, etc... . This is why 91 is not a random number which IW made up, its how the engine works! FYI, IW actually set the FPS to be 85 (i actually don't know where they make this value up from, it makes no sense) however as the engine rounds to the next which is 91. It may be due to the fact some framerates cause bugs in the engine, at: 125 = jump further 250 = jump higher 333 = lots of bugs, some fall damage decrease, you jump A LOT higher/further Here are some screenshots of the proof of rounding, FPS is in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, in the top left is what I set the FPS to be. You can see 240, 60 and 85 round up but the 250 just stays 250. So Titanfall 2 wait i mean CoD: AW looks sooo good :lol: no but really i want to know your Opinions on it i think this is a titanfall clone from what i have seen so far and i definitely i will not be picking it up i stop playing after Blops2 i cant stand the BS anymore
