Hey, I was searching through websites and couldn't find a fix for "I think" quite common issue. I have HyperX could mix Bluetooth headphones connected to xiaomi 10t phone (through Bluetooth obviously) and when I connect to voice chat server or private call quality of the audio everywhere drops significantly. It happens only while headphones are connected through Bluetooth, when I wire them up it works normally. I'm using in-built headphones mic not the one you can plug-in. Also when I disconnect from discord VC server phone lose connectivity to headphones, I need to turn off and on bluetooth to fix it (headphones are showing as connected to phone, but don't receive sound [signal] from phone). Specs etc: - Xiaomi 10t - MIUI version 12.5.3 - Android version 11RKQ1.200826.002 - headset HyperX Cloud mix Bluetooth I tried: - "Adjust media sound in multiple apps" in sound assistant, cool feature but it ain't it - installing older version of discord with communication and call mode, interestingly call mode broke things further, since only discord sound was working... - fiddling with OpenSl es (off/on) in discord options, didn't feel any change at all, maybe mic was working differently? I think the best bet is in developer mode Bluetooth settings, the problem is everything I change won't stick.. beside changing MAP version. I assume if the options are there then my phone should be able to use them, no? And even if my headphones wouldn't be compatible with them, they should still change, but they don't..

I have some audio issues on my Motorola moto g8 power. The volume is basically always very low, low like it would be in a call. After a few minutes of video playback the audio suddenly goes to normal volume, and 5-10 seconds after that the video is auto-paused. When I resume the video the audio is low again. First noticed the problem with headphones, where they would occasionally go silent, somehow "disconnect" and pause(even though the headphones were still connected), and then it would play on built in speakers when the video started again. Reconnecting headphones worked, but only temporarily. I couldn't find anyone else with these issues. Any help is appreciated!

I have ASRock AB350M-HDV with Onboard Realtek ALC887 Audio Codec. It worked fine for 3 years but today i tried applying new thermal paste for my cpu and do some cleaning. So i had to remove some parts like the graphic card and of course the cpu. Everything went smooth considering its my first time and then i plugged everything back in to where it was before without messing with anything else. After i turned on my pc, everything works fine except the sound icon on taskbar now has an 'X' sign, it says "No speakers or headphones are plugged in". I opened sound control panel and found out that "Realtek HD Audio" is nowhere to be found. Even in Device Manager, its only visible as hidden device (i checked the show hidden device option). I have tried uninstalling that driver but it didnt reinstall itself. Also tried clearing CMOS with jumper by full power turn off (plugged out power cord then clear power residue by pressing power button), wait for a minute or so, then switch the pin to 2 & 3 (according to mobo manual) for about 10 seconds, switch it back to 1 & 2, then turn on my pc again. But still no luck. Can you please help me? Thank you.

Hey, so I've been having this issue for the longest time now. The audio crackling/popping is really annoying when I'm trying to listen to music on youtube. I've tried every fix under the sun including: reinstalling my audio drivers, turning off audio enchantments, turning off "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device", even updating my BIOS and so on. The strangest thing is that the issue only happens when my PC is turned on for the first time of the day, meaning when I get this issue and restart my PC it goes away almost completely (except the audio still crackling when I move the audio wheel). I'd be really happy to finally fix this issue as restarting my PC every time I turn it on seems annoying. Any help is greatly appreciated. Here are my specs: Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5 7400 @ 3.00GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1198MHz (17-17-17-39) Motherboard MSI H110M PRO-VD PLUS (MS-7A15) (U3E1) Graphics C27F390 (1920x1080@60Hz) 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (MSI) Storage 223GB Western Digital WDC WDS240G1G0A-00SS50 (SATA (SSD)) 931GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 (SATA ) Optical Drives HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NSD1 Audio Realtek High Definition Audio

Yesterday I upgraded to the my computer from a ryzen 3 2200g to a ryzen 7 3700x along with upgrading my PSU and ram. When I got to windows I went to plug in my headphones to my motherboard audio and I got nothing. No notification saying a device was plugged in and no audio from the headphones. Going into the control panel the realtek audio driver was not there nor was it present after clicking the volume icon. I tried installing the latest audio driver update from my motherboard's website but to no avail. Right now I'm running my headphones from a built in audio interface on a microphone connected via usb, and it works. Please let me know if you can think of solutions, here are my PC specs for reference. Ryzen 7 2700x Corsair vengeance 16 gig 3200mhz kit Azza digital rgb 650 watt PSU Gigabyte ab350m DS3H Western Digital 5400 rpm 1TB HDD Some random Adata 120g sata ssd Windows 10 pro 64 bit I've posted this issue to troubleshooting as well but in the same thread as another one I experienced, I thought the audio board would have more specific advice or just be more knowledgeable in general.

I've had this unknown device causing me problems ever since I put in a new motherboard last week. It will disconnect and reconnect when logging on from the lock screen and or when changing audio inputs as well. The main problem is that it won't let my PC sleep. My PC will go to sleep but will instantly turn back in due to a "device" being reconnected. Here are the properties of the Unknown Device:

Hello All, I have a very strange issue with Bluetooth on my laptop. So I'm running Windows 11 Pro latest version. I've pulled out my Sony WF-1000MX4 earbuds to watch a movie. They connected fine but no audio. This is were things get strange. When they connect they disappear from the playback devices list, disconnect and they show up in the playback devices list as disconnected. I have tried the following: Troubleshooter - Both BT & Audio Uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled. Rolled back Intel Bluetooth Driver from 22.200 to 22.110 Tried an older Realtek Audio driver. Removed the latest installed windows updates Ran sfc /scannow with no violations reported. None of the above have fixed the issue, and I am at a complete loss. Does anyone have any suggestions? P.S I'd rather not have to reset my PC unless it is the absolute last resort.

Hey everyone, so today I installed the new creators update on my main pc, only to experience audio difficulties like never before. My mic is a blue snowball, not that it has any relevance as I attempted to use my cloud2's headset mic, to no avail. The mic records in windows and plays back through my headset, but fails to do so in any other application. I have also noticed that within the advanced properties of the mic, its only able to record in 1 channel now, whereas before the update it was recording in stereo. Not sure what to do at this point, help would be appreciated.

I've received used Sennheiser HD600 as a gift but my onboard audio (PC) clearly seems unfit to handle these. They sound ok but it feels like there is never enough loudness. I figured this was happening due to them having high impedance (300). I checked here and there around the internet for a good and very budget option drive these so I bought Topping MX3 DAC. I connected them through USB and listening to music works great, I know that this DAC is a cheap option (and there is more room for improvement with HD600) but I'm satisfied and I don't really need more. The issue is that I can't really use it for anything else besides music. YouTube videos play well but seeking always results in audio pausing for a couple of seconds and the DAC constantly clicking. VLC H264 *.mkv's audio lags hard and is unwatchable, playing with the settings doesn't help much. Audio in games just never works as it should, resulting in constant audio cut-outs (pauses) and short sounds don't even play. So here's the question: is this the intended way of this DAC to work? I mean, I get that it was designed for music and sort of constant audio flow, but is there really nothing that can be done to be able to use it as an external audio device just to drive my HD600? Like to eliminate audio cuts and pauses? Or it just can't work this way? I used to have ASUS Xonar Essence STU like 4 years ago and I never had such issues. I know it was much more expensive though. I tried to contact the guys I bought this DAC from and besides sending me a couple of drivers (none of which seemed fit for my DAC) they were not really that helpful.

Hello, sorry if my english is bad, its not my first language I recently bought the Razen kraken headset but i keep hearing a constant static noise coming in,when the mic is turned on the static noise is even louder, i tried switching between the jacks in the front and in the back but the noise is still there, i tried configuring the headset with their software but i didnt really understand how to navigate and i didnt get anywhere. The only way to not have the static noise stop is if i unplug the mic or the headphones from my pc but i want to have my mic always plugged in since im playing games and i need it to talk, can anyone help me with a solution or tell me why or how is this happening. Before this headset i used to have a turtle beach ear force z60 and it didnt do this so why is it happening now ? Note: this is the first time i experience something like this, none of my previous headseats did this Edit: upon further inpection it seems that when i rub the cable it makes a weird buzzing sound, I would apreciate it if someone explained to me what is going on. Did i buy broken headphones ?

Hey everyone, I'm having issue with my audio drivers (Realtek drivers), after my recent windows update, The audio controlling UI was missing (not auto starting either), So I uninstalled the drivers and try to reinstall it! But i got an error saying the windows can't verify the publisher (And took nearly half an hour to install), I download it from the official Gigabyte website but still it's the same error, so i went and installed it any way. As soon as i installed the driver windows automatically update the driver multiply times and the UI is gone again! IS ANYONE ELSE FACING THE SAME ISSUE? Any suggestions? I want the UI to Control my mic and speaker volume easily! I'm Using Gigabyte A320M-HD2 motherboard, Driver version Realtek High Definition Audio Driver 6.0.1.8356 x64 Edition

Running into concerning issues with the DT770s. I've done the old 'hair in membrane' issue. There's nothing there except little bits of dust. Whenever I do things on my PC, i tend to run into issues which makes all the audio go wild. It is only with the DT770s. I never had this issue prior to using them. I'm not sure if it's my focusrite interface, or the way i might have set something up, but having to run a netaudiosrv restart every 15 minutes gets real tiring real quick. Any ideas? If i could macro the restart i'd probably care a little bit less but i'm not having fun clicking my restart bat file anymore.

Hello, I need help with my new XLR microphone. I have bought an NW700 microphone with phantom power 48v. I plugged everything correctly and set the volume to 100% +20%db, and it still has low volume and high noise. I tried everything, updated the drives, installing new/different ones, unplugging all the cables, unplugging the phantom power, I tried using an equalizer, restarting my pc...I've been searching for a solution for over 20h+. I tried plugging the 3,5mm jack into my phone and my laptop and it worked perfectly(the sound was clear and there was almost no noise). That means my PC is the issue but can't figure what is the problem. I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me. Thanks, Deka :)

Hey all, I just built my system not long ago and today I added some fans to it. The specs are as follows; i5-9400f, 1660 super, 650 watt power supply, windows 10 Home, 32gb ram 2400 speed and an Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro Wifi. Once I did I turned the desktop back on and came to find out that everything that came out in terms of audio was full of buzzing. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Asus G750JS-TS71 that I'm having an audio issue with. As the title states, my laptop speakers and subwoofer are not working together. I had to have a fresh windows install performed on the computer today due to it being stuck in a never ending "Auto Repair" loop. When I got the computer back, the speakers are one audio device (show up as High Definition Audio Device Default Device) and the subwoofer is another device (shows up as High Definition Audio Device Default Communications Device) instead of working together in a 2.1 audio arrangement. I've spoken with Best Buy's Geek Squad, probably a 4 letter word around here, and they couldnt figure it out and suggested I plug in external speakers into it. Im not opposed to that, but Ive had the computer for several years and I know how its supposed to work, just dont know how to make it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After coming back from vacation, I was...pleasantly surprised that my desktop updated to build 2004. Among other weird things I noticed but managed to fix, I was left with one very severe problem for me - my speaker setup is completely broken somehow. The way my audio is setup is: a 5.1 speaker system through 3 3.5'' jacks going into an amplifier (which is also a subwoofer), which then goes out to the individual speakers. I've been using only the subwoofer, front stereo speakers and the center one, the rear ones I have unplugged. Previously, I had them all in-use with the speaker-fill enhancement to have some nice stereo sound with the added bass from the subwoofer and everything seemed to be fine (not sure what audio configuration I was using, I believe it was the 5.1 one but not 100% sure). After the update what happened is it defaulted to Stereo and use of only the two front speakers (no bass at all). I tried fiddling around with the settings and the only way I was able to get my old setup to work is through selecting the Surround speaker setup with speaker-fill, however I ran into another issue - the bass is clipping a LOT. Using Bass Management enhancement seems to fix that but messes around with the overall volume that ends up with me just raising it again and ending up with the clipping problem again. I'll be honest, I am no audio expert and I have absolutely no clue what happened or what I'm doing when messing with the settings (since Windows 7 it was a very straight-forward setup so never had to deal with this before), any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. NOTE: the reason I have the 2 rear-speakers unplugged is that I don't have space for them.

So I've had my Hyperx Cloud II for quite a while now, 7 months to be exact, and it worked perfectly up until this point, right when I really need it. The mic used to work well before, except for that quiet audio issue that the cloud 2 has, but other than that it's been fine. Whenever I want to play something on my speaker I need to set them as my default audio device, and I did that a few days ago because I was watching something with my dad. After that, the microphone completely stopped picking up any audio, it's enabled in the settings, it's the default communication device, and I've already reinstalled the cloud 2's drivers. I've also checked if it's muted on the little extension that comes with the cloud 2 and it wasn't. I've also tested it on my father's pc, the audio worked perfectly there, but the mic didn't work there either. What might be the issues? Is my microphone dead? I kinda need it and I can't afford to spend weeks trying to figure out what's wrong, someone please help... Thank you so so so much in advance<3

Hey guys, I'm trying to stream from my Elgato HD60 capture card and for some reason the audio is coming out of the TV as well as my headphones. Problem is, I want to stream without the game sound coming from my Razer Kraken's. If I mute Xsplit in system sounds, then no sound is going into the stream. So is there a way to stream in XSplit without the capture sound coming out of my headphones, but going into the stream directly? Thanks! ;D

Hey guys, Interesting problem with audio on my new computer, was just wondering if anyone has had this problem before. I had left my computer on for a few days, and then when i tried to play music through the back panel of the mobo or through usb headphones the music would skip a beat every few seconds. The same thing would happen with youtube videos. I tried changing a lot of settings and i tried different speakers on the back audio and i still had the same problem. I then restarted the computer and the problem went away. Has anyone heard this before? I never had this problem on my previous tower. Any answers would be awesome, thanks
