I'm looking for a PSU to accommodate my ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti KO Gaming OC and the recommended PSU is 750w. So I am wondering what is the best PSU on the market? Whilst being relatively quiet, efficient, and affordable. Id say my max budget is $175 (I go by AUD $$$)

Hey guys I'm back again. I am currently looking for a Budget build CSGO/H1z1 Gaming and streaming PC. I generally only play CSGO and H1Z1 but I would also like to play games like City Skylines, Transport Fever and Sims. Not really demanding games just sick of using a "Crap Top" to game on. Really desperate to get one asap. I don't really care about what it is or looks wise, just want something that can run CSGO over my 40FPS at the moment Even if its a pre-built I really don't mind Also I am in Australia. So please use $AUD not $USD and if the parts/pc are in US include the shipping ( to QLD in AUS) in the $1300 budget My minimum requirements are the following: CPU: I5 or higher BASE CLOCK of 3.4GHZ or higher Motherboard: Not looking to overclock. Minimum 4 Ram slots. Capable of upgrading to 16GB of ram and to an I7 CPU. Does not have to be able to take water cooling. RAM: 8GB or higher Storage: I already have a Samsung 500GB so i am not looking for an expensive SSD. Just looking for a device to hold minor things like OS, Adobe, Microsoft ETC. GPU: At least a RX 480 4GB or GTX 1060 6GB or higher CPU Cooler: Quiet Fan to keep an i5 to i7 reasonably cool (No Water Cooling) CASE: Don't really care. Just big enough to fit a GTX 1080 further down the line (Not in SLI just singular) Not looking for aesthitics but a Window wouldn't hurt ) PSU: At least 550W I know its a lot to ask but I am really getting desperate. I know actually have the money to spend so whatever you list I will most likely get. Also don't think you have to use up all of the $1300 (I understand this will most likely happen due to the low budget) just need a PC that can run CSGO and H1Z1 at High Settings and at great fps. Thanks again for the help. Really appreciate it. Crimma

Hey everyone, I am currently in need of help to build my first Gaming PC. My Budget is $1250 roughly $945USD I would like to run CSGO at the highest settings and get at least 300FPS (so if i ever stream i will still be able to get at least 150-250) I know I do not need that much fps, i would just like it that high as a stream drop prevention. Please keep in mind I will hardly stream so I don't need the specifications to fit streaming. The main games I will be playing is: Counter Strike: Global Offence H1Z1 I really don't care about what the PC looks like (no overall colour, lights etc) just would like it to run well. Please keep in mind I will be buying off Australian Websites (No Amazon) and using AUD not USD I would like an Intel CPU over an AMD CPU I Do not require any peripherals so please keep that out of the price. Please leave storage and OS out of the cost as both are already pre-purchased Any help would be appreciated Thank You

Hi all OJ here, hope you're all well, I've started using Pc Part Picker to create a gaming build for a friend of mine. I'm not amazing at doing budget builds all Ive done is upgraded my old build to new so I know a bit about how to make the computer and what parts to get. Thought I would come on here to get some help on what parts I should be using or should replace. I'm looking to build him a gaming build that can handle most of the AAA title games on medium to high settings at 1080p. I realise that you can probably do this with way cheaper parts than what I've put, but I want it to be able to last and upgradable if needed in the future. Cheers for the help *ps no case yet because I'll get him to choose Pc Part Picker Build

A friend of mine wants to join the PC masterrace, but he only has a budget of $300 AUD (Give or take $15). We can't buy used locally, as there's almost nothing anywhere near our area, and we can't buy a cheap prebuilt and upgrade, as they're ridiculously expensive locally and on eBay. What's the best route to go?

Hey guys, i'm getting a new PC build and would like to see what you can come up with (PCPP lists if you can be bothered). I'm Australian and have a budget of $700 AUD (ish, i will consider going over for performance) I only have one 75Hz 1080p monitor and don't plan to get more, and I have peripherals covered. I just want something I can comfortably play CS:GO, RB6 and Minecraft on at around 100 FPS (I don't mind the game looking bad, i'm coming from a laptop so it's not like I know what the games look like in ultra settings anyway). I don't think i'll be upgrading anytime soon, and something like a 500GB SSD is preferred (don't worry, I don't really use any other software other than the standard stuff and the three games i've listed). Love to see what you guys can come up with and thanks in advance!

Hi, this is my first time building a PC, and I'm not sure what parts would be the best for me, all while fitting into my budget. (Sorry if I'm sort of a "tough client") Getting the important basics out of the way; I live in Melbourne, Australia and have a target cost of around $1000AUD but I can go higher (and pretty much have to for what I want) up to about $1500AUD. I'm aiming for something that can play most current games at at least 60fps 1080p on mid-high graphics settings, but I would it like to be able to handle 144hz 1080p at mid settings too for if I can get my hands on a 144hz monitor in the future. Here's some of the games that I want to use this system for, and what performance I want with them in no specific order. (Note; I can be a quite lenient with all of these, if it won't be able to run what I want with that performance, then that's not too much of a problem to me.) If possible at this price point, I'd also like it to be VR capable. I think here's where things get a bit more complicated, because I don't want this to be just capable of gaming, I also want something that can handle some decent video editing, like fancy schmancy After Effects stuff, not Michael Bay levels, but like entry level video editing stuff. I'd like it to be capable of decent screen recording and streaming. I have a mouse, keyboard, and headset covered, so no need to include the costs of that into the build. But, I do not have a monitor, and am looking for a decent 60fps 1080p one. Hardware Preferences & Other Notes: I'm happy to compromise wherever completely necessary. While I wouldn't call myself an "Nvidia fanboy," I am familiar with Nvidia, and am very hesitant to use an AMD graphics card, though when it comes to CPUs, well despite my sole experience with Intel, Ryzen has become way more attractive since my research. I'd highly prefer 16GBs of RAM, at least 1TB of hard drive storage, and at least 240GBs of M.2 SSD storage. I would also like the PC to have at least some sleek stylishness to it. Basically, not a complete "no dollar wasted" build. Preferred colours: Red, Purple, Black, and/or White. (Don't put the purple and red together though, I don't think they'll like each other much) I don't plan to be overclocking this system at all. My current PC is the Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series. It's become slow and unresponsive as hell after the years, and basically anything that can get into full working order in under <15 minutes after a restart will be a lovely improvement. (CPU: Intel Core i7-5500U RAM: 8GB (DDR I dunno) GPU: GeForce 840M) I'm currently looking at the Ryzen 5 2600, and the GTX 1060, or the GTX 1660 Ti. Those good? Sorry for having such a long post and for it being a bit all over the place, but I'm hoping that all that minimised the questions you may have. Thanks in advance for the help.

So as a SydneySider from down south where used servers cost as much as a cheap car I’ve been looking for a few months to build a storage and networking server to run Plex and pi-hole and manage around 30 Ethernet connections in a rack mount case. In this thread I’ll post my progress and take suggestions or criticism.

Budget (including currency): My budget is $1500-$1600 AUD Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Maybe start a youtube channel (Davinci Resolve), Gaming but still don't know what to play as my current laptop can't run most games, REALLY want to try APEX LEGENDS and finally play minecraft with discord open, (crash everytimei try to watch yt or browse whilst playing) Other details I already have mouse and headset, (monitor not yet as i have other budget for it) might just get a cheap keyboard and upgrade down the line. RTX is a need for me and must be able to play games at 1440p (at least 60 fps- maybe with rtx/ on/of). Wifi card might also need to be in the budget as i cant use ethernet cable, (dont include if u cant) WONT BE UPGRADING IN LIKE 5 YEARS SO MUST BE FUTURE PROOF (GPU AND CPU), (motherboard maybe not as newer cpus will have a different socket) Also a Semi/fully module psu will be nice as i have never built pc and want the pc to be neat. STORE: The parts must be ONLY be bought locally in these stores below IMPORTANT DETAILS: First time builder so please avoid MINI ITX AUSTIN COMPUTERS PLE COMPUTERS

Hello, I'm looking to replace my current monitor and am looking for a good monitor under $450 AUD (Australian Dollars) Requirements: 144hz 23.6" - 25" Height Adjustment (Optional, but preferred) USB 3.0 (Optional, but preferred) Please give me suggestions on some good monitors that suit this. I'm going to be watching A LOT of YouTube, and playing MANY games. I will not be watching many movies on my monitor. I'm also going to be looking at the monitor front on, so I won't really optimize any viewing angles

Hi, Just being trying to build a decent workstation / occasional gaming rig for a mate. The budget is around $1500 AUD mark. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/MgMsLJ The primary applications he will be running are Autodesk Revit , CAD , Photoshop , Lumion and maybe Adobe Premiere. So of course I went with the i7 8700k because most of these applications are CPU intensive like rendering and encoding. GPU wise I thought between 1050ti or 1060 3gb card for occasional gaming at 1080p high / medium settings and because of GPU prices are through the roof at the moment. What do you guys think of this build?

Hello :D! Im planning on building a PC in April. But I've, hopefully, already worked out the parts. But i just want to make sure first, and to be sure that im getting the most money efficient and cost effevtive computer i can get. Im using Australian currency, and getting stuff off newegg and pccasegear. Im mostly going to play games on it, and occassionally some editing, but i usually get off my computer during rendering. My budget is between $1500 - $1800 AUD (preferably the lower end). Im also playing on 1080p 144hz. Im one of those FPS fnatics haha Here is what I have so far: Case: Coolermaster Masterbox 5 Pro RGB - $100 CPU: intel i5 8600K - $250 - $336 MOBO: Gigabyte - Z370 HD3 (rev. 1.0) ATX LGA1151 Motherboard - $155 CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM - $50 Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB – $799 Ram: Team T-Force Vulcan 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model TLGD416G3000HC16CDC01 Hardrive: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive - $60 SSD: I have an old 480 gb one. So no need to worry about costs :). And ive tried it, works perfectly fine Power Supply: Corsair - CORSAIR CX series CX550 550W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - $76 Is there anything i should change or to cut costs down on? Thanks EDIT: removed optical drive and edited cpu cooler from coolermaster to h7 Edit 2: replaced 310 dollar rgb ram with 230 dollar standard. Who needs rgb ON RAM anyways? Haha

*I wasn't too sure where this thread should go so i just dumped in in general* I am taking an IST class at my high school: So far we have done next to nothing, we were told what the different components of a computer from about 20 years ago are, we learned about different jobs that IST classes can lead to and we memorised a bunch of "key terms". So you can probably tell that it came as a bit of a surprise when we were told that our final project was to design and build a robot using a raspberry pi. We haven't learned anything to do with electronics, coding or anything else that we need to know to build these robots. I have tried to find tutorials and the like online but they all exceed our $50 AUD budget. Since we had to get out part orders in by last week I just went ahead and listed a few motors. I now only have $27 left. My group and I decided that we want to make a remote controlled car/tank that shoots tic tacs. How do we do that? I know what each of the parts need to do, I just don't know how to get them to do it. Info/ parts - Raspberry Pi (not sure exactly which model) - 2x Basher Mach1 130 Size Brushed Motor (Black) https://goo.gl/nbqQpU - TB6600 Stepper Motor Driver https://goo.gl/AnJqbf Please let me know if you need any more info.

My friend is looking at building his first PC. I thought I'd jump on here and get an opinion to start. This is what he's looking at but full ATX: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/twByWX He has no idea what he's looking at hence the mid tower and micro atx board. Budget is $1500-2000 AUD as in the title. Thanks :3

Hey doing a new build (for a friend) entry level with a budget of around $700 to $900 dollars for all components and OS. Just wandering if parts chosen are best choices. CPU: Intel core i3 6100 Skylake LGA1151 $162 Mobo: Gigabyte H110M S2PV $99 or AsRock B150M Pro4 $125 RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB DDR4 $58 GPU: Galax Geforce GTX950 $199 or Galax Geforce GTX750Ti $169 PSU: Corsair CMPSU 430CX $65 or Corsair SF450 450W modular SFX $129 HDD: WD blue 1TB $72 Drive: Asus DRW $21 CPU cooling: ID Cooling sweden series $19 Case: casecom Neptune CP-626 $55 or Corsair Carbide spec m2 mATX $79 OS: windows 10 $160 Are they any compatibility issues or personal experience with them and if better parts for same prices. Would getting an ssd be worth it was thinking Samsung 750 EVO 120GB $75 but will stretch the budget. All Prices in AUD******

Everyone, I need your help to give me the best Ghost of Razgriz like pc for a budget of $2,000 Australian Dollars. Rules: 1. No SLI or CrossFire configurations as the bridge of connecting 2 GPUs might cost more or not. 2. It must have a Wi-Fi adapter on the motherboard, or just off the shelf. 3. The Colour Scheme is Black and Red (Mostly Black, but only I slight dim of red) and the Colour Scheme is this: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/acecombat/images/6/63/Kabe18l.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110702055229 4. Must have 60 or 120 or 240 or 250GB SSD or 1 or 2 TB Hard Drive. You can make up on your own. 5. Keep the CPU at 4000 series Intel CPUs like i7 4930K, or i5 6600K. Also to note, do not have a AMD CPU in there because it might bottleneck or not, it just make the CPU not useful to this Build. 6. Must have AMD R9 or RX Series GPUs, or, NIVIDIA's GTX 900 or 1000 series GPUs Here is what I created: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/J9fDqk Please help me get a good $2,000 Australian Dollar Gaming PC Configuration. The Look of the Razgriz PC begins.
