Budget (including currency): 250 USD for the case n cooler if needed Country: Singapore Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: NA Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): existing computer parts: MSI Z490 Unify 10700k one HDD 2 SSD RTX 3070 Ti Gigabyte Master Deepcool Assassin 3 air cooler Leadex PSU 850W NZXT H710i Hi guys, I am a fan of Linus from Singapore(originally from China). I found a case that is amazing. Here is the story: Recently I have been planning to go home(China) by air with my ATX Desktop(MSI Z490 unify, deepcool assassin 3 air cooler, Gigabytes RTX 3070 ti Master). It is really difficult to find a portable case that is compatible with ATX Motherboard and ATX PSU, so I decided to look for those itx cases and buy a new motherboard (ITX). Therefore, I can leave it in the carry on luggage (20inch) However, after doing some research I realised that most of the ITX cases in the market today cannot fit in my 4 Slot GPU(maybe I’m too greedy) Then I had to change my strategy that I started to look for compact ATX Case that can fit into my checked luggage(28 inch) and pay for the surcharge. While I was browsing ATX cases from all brands, I found one video on Bilibili that introduced a case called 机械大师Mechanic Master C34. https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1ZT4y1w7D4?share_source=copy_web This case is compatible with ATX Motherboard and 165mm high air cooler,160mm ATX PSU and 330mm max GPU. Since it’s ATX compatible I can install my 4 slot gigabyte aorus master into it as well that perfectly solved my problem. I’m gonna buy it in Taobao after CNY see if I can carry it home successfully! Then the handle make it portable oso OMG!!!The only problem for me rt now is the delivery fee from China to Singapore and the height of my assassin 3 cooler(maybe it’s time to buy a noctua Wish Linus can see this post or email i sent to him , I dunno if it is possible for a video as this case is really AMAZING for air travel!!! This is really a life saver for me. The photos are the desktop im using rt now n the case i found hahaha.

Hi, Does anyone know of any small form factor ATX cases that can take two triple slot RTX 3090s. Ideally I would like the case to have a handle so I can take it with me to LAN parties. Thanks.

I'm wanting to know how much power is sent to the Power LED on the front of ATX cases. I want to control the power LED on my case with an Arduino, but I'm not sure how much power is sent to those LEDs. Is it 3.3V and the power LED board adds a resistor or do I need to add a resistor on the way out? Full Story I'm building my own SAS Expander box. This is a system with a single SAS Expander card, PSU, and a bunch of drives. No motherboard. To control powering the case, I'm going to use an ESP8266. It's similar to an Arduino and even works if I flash it with C code from the Arduino IDE. The 24-pin ATX connector provides 5V when in standby; the exact kind of power that devices like the ESP8266 use. With a relay and some code, I've already set it up so the ESP8266 can power on and off the PSU, but I'm missing the LED. Since I know the state of the PSU (as I'm controlling the relay), I can also output power to the LED like a regular motherboard. But doing so requires knowing how much power I need to send the case's power LED.

Hey Folks, I'm starting to put aside some cash for what will likely be a Ryzen 5 build in or around October/November and the main thing I'm considering right now is a new case. I have a BeQuiet SilenBase 800 which has frankly been a massive dissapointment after my venerable Antec P182SE. Its had a faulty power button and develops a massively irritating buzzing noise which according to support is due to some kind of harmonic resonance between a component and the chassis.. though its worth noting a friend of mine with the same case and totally different parts also had the exact same issue Anyhow onto the main point, I'm tired of huge cases for a new build I want to go with the small form factor. Enough to fit my GPU/Wifi Card, some SSDs and a HDD. Glass is nice but not needed, and all around grills would be hated (it can get dusty here with 4 cats and 2 dogs :P) So, any thoughts on the matter guys ?:) (And gals ?:) )

So a friend of mine wants a new case because he's unhappy with his Define S. He wants a case that is slimmer, has support for an ATX mainboard and a windowed sidepanel. Feel free to leave suggestions of case below or around 80€. (Case will be bought from Germany)

So Fractal Announced a new case and it looks nice, its a bit flashier than normal fractal cases but still simple enough to fit their design ethos. According to fractal designs website the atx version will come in black, white, blue, grey, and red. And the matx version will come in black. Guru 3d has a review here. The main highlights are as follows. (edited for clarity) Gallery Pictures are from the review (More pictures also available.) it looks to be a decent budget case with an acrylic side panel, two decent white led fans, potentially being an ideal case for modding. With a clean but not boring look to it. Its main benefits: Color options Cheap cost Decent fans Large acrylic side panel window Captive thumbscrews for the side panels Decent radiator support Made by fractal so it wont be horrible Main draw backs seem to be: The top 5.5" drive bay is riveted The dust filters seem clunky to clean Only one USB 3 port on the front Awkward drive bay layout behind the power supply No rubber grommets for the cable cut outs Case metal and front panel plastic do not perfectly match Honestly there aren't any quality reviews for the case just yet so I am looking forward to Gamers Nexus and or Hardware Canucks reviewing it. Its been a pretty low key announcement, but it is a budget case Also of note Newegg has a product page with a release date of June 2nd with a $70 US price tag on the Atx version and a $50 US for the matx version. (Black and White only, Colors pending) One reviewer has said the case feet are plastic, though this review claims they are rubber.

So, my rig is currently in a fractal define r4 which I love, but I'm going overseas for college and need a smaller case that I am able to take as a carry-on as it's extremely expensive to ship overseas. Especially since I'll be going back and forth from the U.K. to America. I need a case that can fit an Asus z87-a(which as far as I know isn't full atx? But it isn't mini either), a Gigabyte Windforce R9 290, and a Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler. I also have a thermaltake power supply, an SSD and a HDD but I figure those will fit in any case. I would appreciate some suggestions! I like the noise dampening of the Fractal Define R4, but I'll forgo it for something I'll be able to fit in a carry-on. Preferably with a side panel where I can see my components, but that's not neccecary.

I like 2 cases Cooler Master Case Pro 5 Mid Tower ATX Case & Corsair Carbide Series Air 740 Case. I am confused between these 2 cases. Please give your thoughts as this will help me to pick one over the other. Thanks

Hey guys i would like to get your thoughts on this really interesting case. http://www.tecwareph.com/titan It is only readily available in asian countries as far as im aware. it goes for around USD$30 and has an insane feature set particularly for a budget case that i have not seen in other similarly priced cases. there is not much documentation on this case and not too many pics of builds in it, let alone ones that showcase its potential. Notable features: -2x 280mm radiator support on the top and front and 120mm in the back -PSU shroud that covers up HDD cage as well with rubber grommet for hd audio, usb and front panel connectors -rubber grommets on right of mobo tray -proper cutouts for cables top left and top centre with plenty of holes for both shorter atx and standard atx boards -pre installed standoffs (only 6 though) -ssd mounts 2 on the front of mobo tray 1 in the back -included 3x 120mm white fans -proper dust filters for psu, top and front intake -roomy cable management with 34mm of space or 1.5 inches -huge acrylic side panel -clean aesthetic -reusable pci brackets (a lot of budget cases use disposable ones) -2x usb 2.0, 2x usb 3.0 2x fan controllers would like to see what you guys think as i have not seen a case at this price with all these features that are mostly found in high end cases. it is not perfect but really awesome for the price. would you like to see this case in your region? apparently different brands have the same case under a different brand name https://www.pcper.com/reviews/Cases-and-Cooling/VIVO-Titan-Mid-Tower-Enclosure-Review

Ok so tomorrow, I am picking up and buying a full ATX case from a guy that lives in my local town. However, I am only 15 and I will have to walk there and back which means I will have to carry the case. Should I try my best to: 1. strap it to my back with rope or something? 2. Use rope etc to carry with a kind of handle? 3. Try and fit it into my DofE Rucksack? 4. Just turn up with nothing and carry it like a man? I have no clue what to do but I guess this relates more to the Lan party community haha, Please help Thanks, Brennan Price

Hi I want to ask about a fairly low-profile case by Silverstone, the Redline RL06. I have a 120mm H60 AIO cooler, and I want to know if anyone has the experience of fitting one at the top of the case, given the offset, would that interfere with the motherboard say if I place it near to the front panel position? Thanks for your reply in advance!

Hi all! Pretty simple. I'm building a cheap and cheerful LAN rig and it's missing two pretty important parts. One of those is a case. The overall build will be made up of spare/old parts and it'll hopefully be portable enough for a LAN PC but one problem with this is the motherboard is ATX and I need the smallest case possible and for pretty cheap too! Can anyone help me out? It's gotta be the smallest possible ATX case for pretty damn cheap (but something new still). I'm not too bothered if it's not the best case, anything will do really, but my budget is between £20-£50. I'm hesitant to go over £50 as it's a PC I won't use regularly but if you guys insist I can go higher. TLDR: need an ATX case between £20-£50 that's as small as possible for a LAN build.

I need some help. I'm going blind researching cases for my build. It's coming down to the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, NZXT Switch 810 or a Zalman (H1 or GS1000). They all have some really great features and I probably don't need most of what comes with a case in this range but I really like these. While I really like these cases, I'm not married to any of them. I just want a long-term case that will keep my components cool and looks good. Thanks for your help. This is what I have to go inside: Asus X99-Deluxe Corsair H100 WC SeaSonic SS-660 Platinum PSU Asus Radeon R9 290X 1 - 2.5" SSD 2 - 3.5" HDD

I am looking at changing my HAF 912 to something that has the features I want: - Black interior (I will have a blue/black colour scheme) - Side window (possibly no fan mounts on the window but isn't too much of a worry) - USB 3 front - Easy access to dust filters on the front and bottom - Mid tower Optional: Easy to carry around for Lans Budget is below $100. I have looked at the Storm Scout 2 and seems like a pretty decent case. Any other suggestions? I want to be able to look at my graphics card and Dark Knight Cooler :P Also would like to put Gelids Blue led on the front

So lets kick this off. Heres the newegg link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CjwKEAjwgYKfBRDvgJeylem9xDUSJACjeQ7AEue-vQ46dZi6-vDwH6WIPrHpa8idUg0zYB3b1V1tHBoCWGPw_wcB&Item=N82E16811147160&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Computer+Cases-_-N82E16811147160&ef_id=U86NRgAABH@OGuz7:20140805203648:s Pros: Case is 50 dollars, it's very spacious which will likely make it nice for first time builders and the like. Features the tooless lock thingys, which are nice for mounting SSDs. Relatively okay build quality, but don't expect much. The metal is pretty thin. Attractive case, very conservative. Red and black goes well with almost all amd cards. Lots of expansion (HDD, optical drives, SSDs) Cons: (so far at least) Build quality: see above Lack of motherboard standoffs; the case included 7, but there are 10 marked (ATX) slots for them to screw into. This left me a little confused as to which ones to place where. I opted for all four corners, center, and two on the left side where the pci slot is. I don't know if it is common practice for cases to ship without all the standoffs....? The placeholders between the pci slots were very hard to get off, and bent my slot a little bit. Once again, the metal is very thin. Fans are pretty much garbage (these will be coming out soon for some Corsair 120 Quiets) Plastic clips that held in the placeholders for the optical drives on the front panel are very easy to break. Mine has stress fractures in it just from pressing down gently to release the placeholder. Rubber gromits around the bottom of the PSU, but none near the optical drives or the HDD cage. Overall: Cheap case, but effective for what it does. Very roomy. Shoddy build quality in some areas, but its my first build so I'll let it slide this time. Next time I'll definitely be going for something around the $100 range. 4 stars.
