Specs: asus tuf x570 gaming plus (wifi) ryzen 9 5900x RTX 3060 ti xc 16gb (2 x 8gb) corsair vengeance WD Black 500g ssd 3600mb/s SeaGate Barracuda 2tb hdd Corsair cx600 power supply NZXT Kraken x53 240mm water cooler I updated and shut down yesterday and now today my computer won't boot. All that happens when I turn it on is the fans spin up, mobo LEDs come on, and then the VGA light comes on. nothing else happens. My monitor doesn't see that the computer is on either. I've tried using a different graphics card, reinstalling all of my components, resetting the cmos, using the other pci-e slot, and nothing has worked.

Hi. I have recently upgraded my whole system. It was working fine for a few weeks, then suddenly my GPU stopped outputting video. I swapped things around and tried the bottom PCIe slot and it worked. I was going to get the mobo checked in the next week. Then last night the same issue happened. The GPU definitely has power as the lights are all on. I tried plugging in my old 1070ti but this doesn't work either. I don't have any other GPUs to try but I don't think it's the GPU at this point. I can't check the bios because Ryzen doesn't have onboard graphics. I can't see any damage to the PCIe slots themselves but seeing as how it's both slots and they worked at first I don't think damage is the problem.

Hey guys, So i have this MoBo : asus tuf gaming x570-plus (wi-fi) https://www.asus.com/nl/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-X570-PLUS-WI-FI/ And this is the RAM: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB 3600 I have bought 2x8 corsair sticks RAM, which is 3600 speed My MoBo should support it right? I have a 3700x When i Put my RAM on the green spot ( see screenshot below ) i CANNOT Boot my pc on 3600 mhz and it keeps sending me back to the bios. If i change the speed to 3200 mhz i am able to boot again. If i put the same RAM stick into the Pink dimm slots i CAN boot my pc on 3600 mhz. I just bought the same set of RAM again ( another 2x8 GB ) and will try them on the green Dimms on 3600. Does Anyone know why the 2 green dimm slots cannot boot with RAM on 3600mhz? Am i missing something?

I build a pc for the first time and I am having problems with it, it keeps crashing and restarting when i play games. Sometimes I can play a game for 3 hours without crashing and sometimes it crashes after 10 seconds into the game. I don't know what to do, I stress tested my gpu and cpu and ran diagnostics on my ram. Everything worked and it didn't crash. I don't know what to do or what the issue could be so I came here hoping for a solution. (It's 8 days old so I can RMA the parts, I just wouldn't know what part to send back) temps: Idle: gpu = 30C , cpu = 50C Ingame: gpu = 60C , cpu = 65C PC specs: GPU: Gigabyte Geforce RTX Super Windforce OC 3X CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming x570-plus Ram: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB 3600Mhz Psu: Cooler master MWE Gold 750 Full Modular Storage: Samsung 850 evo 500gb and Crucial p1 1TB M.2 ssd OS: Windows 10 pro Case(don't think it matters but added it anyway): Nzxt H510 Elite Black

I recently built a PC a few days ago and it booted fine and I have been using it until today. I turned on my PC and my keyboard's RGB would light up but not my mouse. Then it say show no display. All RGB and fans (cpu, gpu, chasis) seem to be on and running, even the ram's RGB turns on. MOBO: Asus TUF X570 Gaming plus Wifi CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660 RAM: 2x8 G.Skill Trident Z RGB PSU: Corsair CX650M The Q-LED on the TUF X570 displays a solid orange light under dram so I looked to the manual and it said it was related to memory. I tried all these ways to troubleshoot. 1. Reconnected DVI cables from both monitor and GPU DVI port 2. Power cycled holding the power button after shutdown 3. Reseated the RAM, one stick, and tried different channels for RAM configuration 4. Reseated GPU and tried in a different PCI-E 5. I attempted to clear CMOS through the 2 pin on my board and using a screwdiver after PC powered off and PSU plugged off. 6. CMOS clear with removing the battery and waiting for 10-15 long minutes of pure defeat 7. Disconnected all components from PSU & motherboard (except CPU & CPU fan) and reconnected. 8. Tried a different monitor with HDMI and DVIZ None of those steps worked or caused any different to the status (no display at any point and orange dram led on) Any help or advice would be appreciated .

Okay, so i need some questions to be answered here... I just got a R9 3900X and a Asus TUF gaming X570-plus, i had a 16gb ram kit from my 7700K and Z270 (im upgrading the ram to either 32gb corsair vengance or 32gb trident Z, but still want answers on this). The ram is Crucial Ballistix Tactical 3000mhz CL15 ram, on my Z270 Tomahwak arctic and 7700K i could EASILY OC the ram to 3466mhz, it was 100% stable. So why cant i OC to more than 3066mhz without safe mode screens, windows crashes, BIOS bugsETC on the X570? Doesnt Ryzen like OC`ing as much as intel? Is D.O.C.P or whatever it is worse than intel XMP? Or is the Asus X570 board just really bad? Thanks for answers.

Hi everyone, I've just recently built my PC with the following specs for workstation use: CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x MOBO: ASUS TUF x570 Gaming + Wi-fi RAM: 32 GB 3200 MHz Corsair Vengance DDR4 RAM SSD: 512 GB NVME M2 PCI-E GEN 4 GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 Super But ever since I decided to install ubuntu 18.04 on it, it keeps breaking down for one reason or another. Firstly, it was extremely tricky to install ubuntu and it turns out that it was because of uefi bios. I resolved it by booting ubuntu in legacy/csm mode via bios and it installed correctly, but that didn't make it boot after install, so then I found a way to install it in UEFI Mode using GPT Partition and it installed and booted correctly this time. Next up, few days later, my computer got accidentally plugged off from its power source. But it started fine after that, so no biggie, until few hours later, it got in a file system lock out of nowhere, i.e. on running anything from the terminal I got something like: unable to open (process name.…) Read-only file system... and also every GUI app stopped working as well. After some research I found that it might have been due to the previous accidental un-plugging and is currently an issue with ubuntu and SSDs in general, so I fixed that issue by running fsck on my SSD and updated my ubuntu, as advised, in order to avoid any future issues of the same kind. However, the next day when I turned off my pc in the evening and turned it on again after an hour's break, it first got stuck on ASUS TUF Logo Bios screen, then after restarting it again by force, it again got stuck on ubuntu empty purple splash screen. I have done some research on this again, but I found two possible causes, either some update is incompatible with my CPU or my latest GPU drivers (that might have been updated during the update that I ran after fsck issue) are on a version incompatible currently with my GPU, and there's no solution other than re-installing ubuntu again. But it could be something else too as I still don't know what is the exact issue since the only thing I see is an empty purple screen. Another issue I have faced is of RAM Frequency as its showing only 2133 MHz instead of 3200 MHz and the existing solutions like DOCP and Ryzen DRAM Calculator didn't work for me. In fact, after making changes from DRAM Calculator, I had to reset CMOS in order for even BIOS to work (BTW Bios was/is updated to latest version already). But I guess its either not needed to be clocked at 3200 MHz for correct functioning in a non-gaming workstation or its a headache for another time. So the bottom line is that, Is there anyone in this community that has installed and used Ubuntu as their only OS without any hiccups on a PC with same Motherboard, CPU and GPU? If so, can you please help me out in setting up my system with ubuntu, for workstation use? I will be extremely grateful to you.
