Budget (including currency): 900$ Country: Sri Lanka I am about to do my first ever PC build. I am going with a Ryzen 3600 and a 166ti. The problem is, since i have never built a pc myself I am kind of nervous. Will it be safe to go about this alone? Are online tutorials/guides sufficient for first timers like myself?

I recently bought this case and I purchased 3 White Fans for the White Theme look. But I was wondering, Since the Case comes with a Fan Hub, can I connect those 3 fans to the hub thats included for them to work as in show the color of it? or would It not function. Also does that Included Hub support RGB Fans or does it only support basic fans with no RGB.

Hi, so I recently purchased a TV (a Samsung TU7020 to be exact) and while it does not have RAC out or AUX out, it does have Optical and eARC. Doing a bit of digging I found (through this website : https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/5-1-surround-audio-passthrough ) that it should support passthrough of 5.1 sound through the optical and HDMI. The question is what do I need to put between my TV and my 5.1 system (which is a Logitech Z607 ) to make it work. Ideally I would like so that anything connected to the TV woud passthrough its audio through HDMI into the TV then into the speakers with the sound only comming out of them. Is this even possible ? If it is what are/is the best solution ? Thank you for any help you give me as I'm quite new to anything sound related that isn't a soundbar.

My GPU (Nvidia GeForce GTX 745) has a weird blemish on the gold pins. Not so coincidentally, I noticed it shortly after it just stopped working. I had it overclocked a little, but other than that I'm not sure what could have caused it. Is there a way I can fix this?

Soo, I have a full ASUS ROG system which you can see down below, and my only issue is the fact that I could not get my hands on an ASUS ROG Thor 80+ Platinum 1200W. Reasonable priced ROG PSUs have been out of stock for nearly 6 months now and so I had to get my hands on a Corsair HX 1200 recommended by a friend. It turns out that the cables for it are all extremely stiff and hard to work with. But the real problem is the CPU connector, they are incredibly short. Even if I were to give up all hopes for cable management and re-route them in the front like a spaghetti factory or The Verge system, it just could not reach the power supply unit anyway because the graphic card is so bulky. Anyone here familiar with cable extensions that could recommend a set that will not fry my entire system or the power supply unit? I would greatly appreciate your time and support!

im not sure if i am supposed to put this under this thread but i need assistance. english is not my first language so please excuse any spelling mistakes. I recently bought a second handed 1080ti that will only work when running 100mhz under the standard clock speed. when i run it on a normal clockspeed any slightly graphicly demanding games will crash in a few minutes. Sometimes even when waiting in the lobby. I have an uncle that is a bit better with computers than i am, and he underclocked my gpu by 100mhz. After that the card worked pretty stable, but i do find it very frustrating that i paid a lot of money on a gpu that has to be underperforming to even function properly. I paid abouy 220 euros for the card, since i am 15 this was all my savings. And i have no more money to spend. So i am wondering what has caused this and is there a way to fix this. i have a slight suspicion the seller has used the card for mining, since after the sale to me he kept the advertisement up. After the ad was removed due to the marketplace app removing ads after a couple of weeks. But after that happened he put another listing for the exact same card. When i messaged him he ignores my texts. But when i asked my friend to message him he replied very quickly. My friend asked if the card was ever used for mining, the guy said no, but when i messaged him asking the exact same question he does not even open it. now im not sure if mining is what made this card behave this way. Or if i can somehow get my money back. The temperature of the gpu is around 82 degrees celcius. It sometimes hits 84 but that almost never happens before crashing. Here are some more details about the card and the rest of my pc. GPU: inno3d ichill 1080ti x3 i bought it second hand for 220 euro’s on the dutch marketplace app called ‘marktplaats’. CPU: i7 7700k (previously overclocked to 4.9Ghz but i reversed it when my pc started to crash, it helped nothing.) RAM: 2x 16GB 2400mhz corsair lpx motherboard: Asus maximus viii gene. PSU: not sure about the exact model but it is a 520W XFX PSU Storage: 1x 1TB NVME SSD, 3x 500GB SATA SSD, 2x old 2 TB hdd. i would really appreciate if anybody could help me resolve this issue. Thanks in advance. edit: (i forgot to add this) the things i have tried doing these things in order to fix it, but to no avail. i completely removed the nvidia drivers via a program designed to do that. i have reseated the card to the bottom slot of my motherboard when using the pc with the card i previously had (geforce GTX titan x 12gb gddr5) the pc runs fine without any issues/crashes. when a game crashes the screen running the game turns black, the game audio starts sounding like a microwave and after about 20 seconds the game stops and i get an error screen depending on the game. the games i have tested for crashes are: dying light 2 fortnite persona 5 royal. half life alyx. all of these games kept crashing except for half life alyx, which somehow even at high intensity keeps running.

The specs of the PC I am building are here below. I am wondering if the Power Supply I was able to pick up is going to be efficient enough for my computer to run properly or if I should return it to Newegg and wait for bigger wattages to come down in price because...all of the power supplies of higher wattages are a bit above my price range with the ones that ARE...are a lil bit iffy right now. Case: Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-core processor Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max ATX AM4 motherboard Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB 2x8GB sticks DDR4 3200 memory Storage: Seagate Desktop HDD 4TB 3.5 inch 5900 RPM Storage: Crucial BX500 120GB 2.5 SSD Video Card XFX Radeon RX 570 8GB Video card Case fans Apevia 312L-CGN 57.67 CFM 120 mm Fans Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Does anyone have ANY clue what this guy is using to make his videos this smooth? I've tried my damndest to get my videos to look like this and cannot for the life of me. I record at 60 fps and render out to 60 fps but cannot achieve anything similar. I FEEL or think it is motion blur but I'm really not sure. I record and render/upload at 60FPS 1440p but if you watch the video it is almost like it has motion blur added too it. I've tried a ton of things and can't get anything close. I normally record on OBS with CQP at 15 and edit in After Effects and then render it out with a bitrate of 50 CBR through media encoder. I know this probably isn't the best place to ask but honestly I'm going to lose my mind if I don't ask others for help. x.x Here is the video in question I would contact him but he's currently in the Korean military until near the end of the year. So far I've tried the base motion blur option in AE, CC Force Motion Blur in AE, smart resample in Vegas, recording at a higher frame rate (120 to 240 fps to match my monitors refresh rate as I read this would make it replicate this "smoothness") and then trying both those options again, RSMB, Twixtor and I just cannot find how this video looks THIS smooth. If he used RSMB or Twixtor there would be warping but as far as I can see there isn't any at all. Any help or nudge in the right direction is greatly appreciated!

Will the lack of vram in the rtx 2060 create an issue for games in the future? By lack of vram I mean how the rtx 2060 has 6gb of vram compared to other cards that have 8gb of vram. Also will the rtx 2060 age badly and and not be mid tier gaming in a couple years?

I am currently in a room in my house with direct connection to the router via digital ethernet cable to lan1 in the router. However I am moving to the upstairs bedroom of the house and wont be near the router anymore so I won't be able to connect with the same ethernet cable anymore. I do not want to switch to wi-fi since I usually host servers in games for my online friends, and I really enjoy having a solid connection at all times. I want to run an ethernet cable from the modem to my pc upstairs when I change rooms, but I do not want to run a digital ethernet cable very far since it will have a drop off so I want to see about running a fiber optic cable?? Do they make fiber optic ethernet cables that I can just simply connect to my motherboards lan port and routers lan1 port without any extra equipment? Would probably need a 10m(30ft) cable to 15m at most. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello! So I play games like Dead By Daylight and ect, they all disable the use of ALT + F4 which is seriously irritating to me and can make me angry at times because they are making it longer to just leave the game. My question is, is there a way to force ALT + F4 to work no matter what? My AV does have a function installed like that but it is used for ransomware, if I use it, it will make sure it can't start any processes and ect. I am asking for help, not your opinion that I don't care about.

So I recently purchased this GPU on eBay, as seen in the pictures. It was a good price in fact, too good to be true. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity so my impulses got the best of me and I went straight ahead and purchased it. Later on I looked at the images in closer detail, realizing that they seem a bit off. My instincts are telling me that this isn’t an Radeon rx 580. Just by the pictures shown, can anyone confirm that this GPU is legit? I also dug into a bit of research (and I mean A LOT of research...) trying to see if any I can find the GPU that was shown in the picture. And I couldn’t find it. There were a lot of GPUs that looked similar, but not the one I purchased. This led me to further speculation that it could be a counterfeit. I’m not very familiar with AMD and their GPUs, and I’m definitely no expert. Anybody who knows a ton about GPUs mind helping me out with this? Thank you!

How do you turn off updates indefinitely on android 10 (ie samsung A41)? Or rather the notifications. I already turned off auto updates, and the update service for good measure. However I keep getting a new notification about how I should update and get "new features" about every 24 hours... Though I don't want new features the ones the phone already has are bad enough, it can't even play a gif continuously on the "AOD" like why even have the option then? Lol But yeah seriously I can deal with everything (already disabled all that "be happy"samsung bs, but I *cannot* deal with daily update notifications, this is my phone and I'm not going to update it, end of story. There gotta be a way to make this notifications stop!?

I just built this PC and I went to put my ram at 3600 MHz but when I did the PC wouldn't boot until it automatically went to safe mode. I tried going down in 200MHz intervals but it wont post unless the RAM is running at 2133 MHz. I also tried using DOCP and updated my bios to the latest version but I'm still not having any luck. Hopefully you guys could provide some insight, here are the exact specs of my build. MOBO - ASUS X-570 Plus Wifi CPU - Ryzen 3600 RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16 GB DDR4 3600 MHz and it says it has intel XMP 2.0 *The tested speed on their site says 3600, Voltage 1.35, and Latency 16-19-19-39 GPU - RTX 2070 SUPER PSU - Corsair CX 650 M (I'm not sure if this will matter too much but I've only connected the 8-pin, not the secondary 4-pin)

I'm not sure if this is the right place or not, but my CPU has been stuck at 99% for the past few days. I've tried restarting, shutting down, force shutdown, restore points and uninstalling antivirus and reinstalling it. I've looked everywhere and can't find a fix. I have a ryzen 9 3900x and I've turned pretty much every program in the startups off. Task manager will show 99% CPU usage in processes, but none of the programs are actually using any CPU. It will randomly pick a program and give it a ridiculously high CPU usage which it never used before as well. I'll include a few pictures. I've seen chrome using 85% CPU usage in this case, and bluestacks uses 95% The Users tab shows a better view. There's only 1 user on this computer and it's mine. usage is jumping around from 13%-80% while the only programs open is chrome, discord, msi dragon center and snipping tool. The Details tab shows System idle process is the only thing really, so i'm guessing the performance tab is just showing system idle as it's own process or something. Please let me know if i should include more information or if you have any advice!

So i have an intel 6700k and a gtx 980ti strix currently with a hyper 212 cooler, but i want to upgrade as the hyper 212 cooler is not the greatest cooler and to keep the possibility of oc'ing (not that i would really need too) and i am stuck between 2 coolers, the h100i or the cooler master v8 gts vapor chamber. i attempted to do some statistics to see if the vapor chamber cooler would work. but my case is the phantom 410 and some people have said it supports 170mm and also only 160mm but then i was hit with the thought my gpu or ram would get in the way and i just got frustrated with all of the measurements i would have to make to get an ESTIMATE of wether it would fit or not. and i dont really want to go with watercooling as i am afraid of something going wrong (plus the gts would look so cool in my build and compliment my color scheme of black and red. also i would like to know if there are any other cpu coolers that are a better choice for me so please give me feedback and or ask for more information. Thanks!!!!!
