I need help to set values so that CPU and GPU won't go over 80. Preferably, to keep CPU at 75 and boost to 80 and GPU to max 80. Laptop is ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 G733ZW. In pictures you can see the hardware info. Also, if I use manual will I really void the warranty? I bought the laptop with 2 extra years so that would hurt.

Hi, i have a problem with armoury crate (unsurprisingly). I was looking through other posts but other users problems with armoury crate seem to be mostly with rgb. So do the comments and solutions. My problem however is with a mouse that bought recently. I got the Asus TUF M4 wireless. I really like the mouse but I am unable to adjust my DPI. I set it up once, but to an incorrect value (too high). I was able to adjust windows sensitivity, but in games I'm at the lowest possible sensitivity and I still spin uncontrollably. I tried to reinstall the mouse drivers, armoury crate, restart the pc a bajilion times but nothing seems to work. The error that armoury crate spits out each time is the "We are sorry. There's an error with the device page. The application is going to reload the device page now. (2005)" Are there any 3rd party or community based apps that can replace armoury crate in adjusting DPI? Or is there anything else than just reinstalling windows or getting a mouse from a different manufacturer? Thanks for any help

Hey, i'm searching for some help. My girlfriend and I made the choice to buy a gaming laptop for practical reasons an ASUS ROG STRIX G713RW (2022) : - Ryzen 7 6800h with radeon graphics - RTX 3070 Ti Laptop DDR6 8GB - 16GB 4800 Mhz DDR5 - 360hz / 3ms display The laptop comes with a software (armoury crate) to adjust settings (CPU and GPU) to optimize performance (screenshot). We would like to have someone who could advise us on settings via software or other things to optimize our performance in games. Thanks in advance

Hello, Shopping for a MOBO for i7 13700k, i watched Gamer's Nexus's recent rant on MOBOs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEjH775UeNg He mentioned that ASUS installs, directly on the freaking board, practically a rootkit that installs Armory Crate on your system. I didn't want to believe this, but a quick search yielded some results where people complained that after clean Windows install on an Asus laptop, some bloatware just magically installs itself, circumventing all OS-level restrictive measures by the user. Beyond how freaking annoying and invasive this is, this is also a huge vulnerability begging to be exploited that I'm not willing to buy into. So, please help me: 1. (Rethorical) How the hell is the PC building community not foaming in the mouth? 2. Is this real? 3. Is this only Asus, or do other board manufacturers embed similar artificial vulnerabilities to push their bloatware? 3. a) Are all 700 chipset Asus boards affected? 3. b) Are there manufacturers that don't do this? (If you think Armoury Crate is a great tool, good, more power to you. But frankly I don't care, this is not what the question is about.) Thank you!

So i had it installed on my laptop and after some time passed (maybe because of updates idk) it started showing in system when i used fn+F shortcuts (it was always showing something like volume change in windows, but after some time it started also showing stuff like changing profile or switching on/off the touchpad). Sadly i have screwed my system at one point and had to make a recovery with saving files, but it meant that i had to reinstall armoury crate, and showing fn shortcuts in system has not worked ever since. I have browsed trough entire armoury crate and installed everything from asus website that made sense to bring this functionality back but nothing worked. Also for some reason I am now on Beta version (or at least I think I am?) of this software and if there is a way to download previous versions, I failed to find it. It's nothing crucial obviously, but it's a quality of life improvement that I enjoyed while it lasted so it would be nice to bring it back. What makes no sense is that on dualboot linux this functionality exists and works, without armoury crate obviously, since there is no version of this software for that system. I am deeply sorry if it's explicitly shown somewhere in software as a toggle or something like that, I just couldn't find it, and yes, I have tried googling it before posting here. After Updating several Drivers on my new Flow X13, the Laptop started with opening a ArmourySwAgent Window on EVERY startup. This window is just white and has no content. I checked, and it is not in the Autostart Folder in AppData or in the Settings/Tassmanager. How do I stop Windows/Armoury Crate from opening this window? Or at least hide it permanently? Or should I just install a clean Windows 10 and get rid of the Armoury Crate completely? Would a missing Armoury Crate keep me from using 100W charging (since it already only possible with the included power supply) or cap the boost speeds of CPU/GPU (Im not sure about this bc you can change it in the Armoury Crate but I was pretty sure the BIOS would handle it...)

Having created my new PC 2 months ago I still wonder why my G.skill RGB ram is not working as expected with regard to the RGB . They are lit, in 4 different colours. However not changing when I am having Asus armoury crate activated. It does not seem to detect them. However if I uninstall Asus armoury then the will flash and change as if being initiated from the ram usage dont know if that is the case however or its just some default setting. My RGB fans BR120 connected to AURA addressable gen 2 headers on the MB as are my AIO RGB. Those all seems to be working fine RGB vise. Any suggestion as to why this happens? and what to do except uninstall armoury -------------- my build: Case: Lian Li Dynamic O11 XL,MB: Asus Strix Z590-E, Intel I7-11700K, G.skill TridentZ RGB SSR4-3200 C16 QC 32MB, 7 Lian Li BR 120 digital RGB + controller, AIO: Galahad 360 RGB, Storage: Samsung 980 pro MVMe PCIe 4 1tb + 2 older ones PSU: Corsair RM850X

I bought the Asus ROG G14 (2021) with Ryzen 9(5900HS) and RTX 3060 and turns out it had audio problems So when i open Armory crate and set the profile to windows or silent the audio starts acting weird and starts lagging and distorting. however when in set to performance mode the audio acts completely fine. This does not happen when the Laptop is connected to a charger. I tried installing all drivers, did a fresh installation but nothing fixed this. I gave my laptop to Asus and all they did was a clean install of windows and said the issue was fixed, once i got back my device i installed Armoury crate and the issue popped up again. I regret buying this laptop now i spent all my saving on this shitty device someone please help me. I also tried using old drivers but i still faced the same issue, i dont know what exactly the problem is, i can however use the windows generic audio drivers but then its no point because i cant use Dolby access on the generic drivers. i am attaching with this PLEASE HELP LINUS PLEASE HELP 1224290589_WhatsAppVideo2021-06-27at4_04_00AM.mp4 1783060561_WhatsAppVideo2021-06-27at4_06_42AM.mp4

Asus Aura/Armoury Crate not working with case fans
GoldenLion13087 posted a topic in Troubleshooting
I just completed a build with a B550-F gaming mobo and a Li Lian Lancool II Mesh RGB case. Everything is working fine, but I can't seem to get the case fan LEDs to sync with either of Asus's rgb software. I've got the fans plugged into the 3 pin ARGB header and the software appears to recognize that something is there, but any effects don't apply to the fans but successfully apply to the RGB on the board itself. I don't think it's a fan issue, as when I have the controller built into the case in any mode other than ARGB control, the LEDs work. Asus support said update the Bios, but their troubleshooting steps weren't very thorough and didn't inspire confidence. Has anyone encountered a similar issue and, if so, how did you fix it? Attached is a screenshot of the Aura sync devices page for reference- 1 reply

Hello there, so ive got an Asus X470 rog strix -f. Everything was running perfectly until they replaced their AURA sync software with the armoury crate. My issue is that the mobo's onboard rgb strip seems abnormal. Sometime it works but its not in sync plus, armoury doesnt detect it. other times, it gets completely off. RAM and D'RBG-connected fans work perfectly and they are always on sync. Any ideas? Its not the end of the world but it gets on my nerves and my ocd levels are off the charts, haha! Things i tried but never worked: reinstallation of armoury crate older bios even had a full fresh install of windows disable/enable aura through bios running latest bios (5833) latest armoury crate app (3.3.7.0) updated all devices through armoury's update center Thank you!

Hello! When my laptop is not plugged in, the CPU does not really turbo at all, hovering around 1.9Ghz, however, when plugged in, the CPU just sits at 3.9Ghz all the time for no apparent reason (same profile on Armoury Crate). How can I prevent my CPU from turboing up its clock speed when plugged in as it is really murdering my temps (50 degrees idle on battery, 70-80 idle plugged in). Yes, I understand why it does this, but at this point I'd prefer good temps to the constant annoying fan noise. Thanks! Moz

I am using 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix RGB 3200 RAM with an Asus TUF B450 motherboard and my RGB software is armoury crate. I've had this issue for a while. In a perfect world, my RAM would look like this (I changed the colors in armoury crate because my crappy phone camera couldn't see the difference between cyan and blue): working.mp4 but 4 out of every 5 times at boot, it does this instead (in slow-motion because my crappy phone camera also couldn't see the flickering otherwise): flickering.mp4 It looks like the ram sticks both get the color they're supposed to get, then flicker between that and the other stick's color. I can somewhat circumvent this in two ways: 1) Reboot until it decides to work 2) Assign a similar rgb profile where both sticks use the same animation so the flicker isn't visible none of which I like. Windows 10 is up to date. Armoury crate is up to date too and this has been going on for several versions. I don't really like the idea of reinstalling armoury crate because last time I did, everything worked even less for 2 weeks, and at this point I consider RGB to be some sort of black magic. I am not using any other RGB software, apart from Ballistix MOD which is installed on my PC (not running) but it's what allows any of this to work in the first place.

As title says. I managed to sync both hardware components under Armoury Crate. It all works fine, but everytime i reboot i need to enter to Armoury Crate again, unlink and link again both of them in order to sync with the same rgb effect. I have uninstalled an installed everything again and in different order, but with same results. I have no clue at why the configuration doesnt stay fixed. Edit: Havent found help for this. There are a lots of posts about RGB problems, and i know its a bit of complex since different brands have their own solutions. Anyhow, i havent come across any posting about this particular problem. What bugs me is that armoury crate makes them work fine, the problem comes up after every reboot.

Hi, I've run into an issue over the last several days that I think is related to some Asus software that I installed. After updating from Asus gpu tweak v2 to v3, I also installed the Asus armoury crate as well. Soon after I installed the Asus armoury crate software, I started having issues, including my PC soft locking up. After researching it a bit, I read that the armoury crate software installed rgb fusion which is known to cause issues. I've uninstalled the software through CCleaner and also using the Asus uninstaller. However, Once a day over the last 3 days I have had to restart my PC as it soft locks up for some reason. My Corsair fans go from the white I have set them to, to the default rainbow and all applications become unresponsive/very slow to do anything. None of these issues existed before updating to gpu tweak 3(which I don't think is the issue) and the armoury crate software. I'm open to all solutions of things to try. I just hope a reinstall of windows 10 is needed... Thank you.

I have previously heard Armoury Crate had some issues back in February when I was first thinking about getting a Tuf Gaming laptop. I ultimately decided to save up money for a high end desktop build and got a B650E-I motherboard. I had disabled the automatic install for Armoury Crate when I first installed Windows 11, but am wondering now that I am looking for an RGB software/Fan Control software if Armoury Crate has improved since then and would be now worth installing. I do not have any alternative RGB software as everything I have depends on Aura Sync. If it isn't I'm curious why and what alternatives you would recommend. I appreciate any advice

I noticed, that the "turbo profile" in Armoury Crate undervolts my laptop CPU by -40mV. I would like to go a little bit further than that. Where can I find these settings on my C:\ drive and what do I need to edit them? Might the standard editor do the job if I would be able to locate the file(s)? Edit: I do not want to deinstall Armoury Crate and use XTU or ThrottleStop instead.

Hello, I have an ASUS ROG GU502GV and the pop-ups that come up when changing fan profiles and AURA lighting no longer show when using the keyboard shortcuts. I have tried completely uninstalling (with Revo Uninstaller) Armoury crate and ROGLiveService; I then reinstalled them following the instructions shown here: https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1037674/. I just like having those pop-ups as it lets me know which profile I have switched to when Armoury Crate isn't open. Any ideas or troubleshooting tips would be appreciated. Thank You

Hey.. What's up with that ASUS software? Besides from being laggy usually and badly designed, this companies software is frustrating. For a some hours i wasn't able to install AI Suite 3, until i finally found an old version that i was able to install. I then went to install AURA (currently still trying while writing this topic) and i have been struggling with it for some hours as well. No matter what version i try to install, i keep getting error messages like: AuraSync service is installed (but it was, and is a part of AURA installation), to Please connect Aura compatible devices (when all my devices is compatible) and Windows program stopped responding messages. I tried Armoury Crate too some weeks ago, and it was bugged with an update loop. When i went to Armoury Crate to configure my ASUS watercooler it kept saying that i need to update the software/firmware for the watercooler. I updated it from the update tab, because ASUS doesn't provide direct download for this from their website, and it then restart, but then i get the same message again. After the AURA and AI Suite 3 issues today, i thought i'd give Armoury Crate another try to see if they've fixed it since, but no they havn't. In fact it's worse than it was before. Now when i open the app, there's no options in it. Only "highlights". lol. The thing is that every problem i encounter with ASUS software, someone else already had it. Only the problem is that there's most likely no fix to it. Or at least not consistent one. It's a matter of luck and coincidence. And it doesn't even seem like ASUS doesn't seem care about it. So as of today, i'm still sitting here with my ALL ROG $5000+ build, not being able to configure my RGB.

Good morning, yesterday I installed a newer version of Armoury Crate and the ASUS Framework Service/Core-SDK on my laptop. A few hours later I restarted my computer and noticed, that cscript.exe would be executed on boot. I immediately thought I had caught myself some malware. However, with Procmon I was able to trace the origin of the execution to the asus_framework.exe (process: ASUS NodeJS Web Framework). I now believe, that no malicious software is behind this issue, however, it annoys me a fair bit. Can anyone confirm, that this is happening on their computer as well? Just want to be 100% sure that everything is safe (however, even Kaspersky did not find anything). I have an Asus ROG Strix Scar III (G531GW), so maybe it will not affect those with solely an Asus motherboard. And finally, how may I disable this pop-up on startup? I cannot find it in the system configuration. Maybe it´s essential, but I just want to hide it, not disable it. Thank you so much in advance for any information on this topic! Regards
