Hi guys, it's my first post. I hope im in the right section of this forum. first up, some general info to my rig. PSU: be quiet straight power 11 platinum 1200w MB: aorus master x570 rev. 1.2 with the latest beta bios "F35e" GPU: msi 3080 suprim x CPU: ryzen 9 5950x RAM: 32GB of trident z rgb SSD: 970 evo plus 1GB ; wd black 750 1GB OS: fresh install of Windows 11 latest chipset driver is installed: Revision Number 3.10.08.506 My issue is as followed: every time i reboot my pc after it was shut down for a few hours, my realtek ethernet adapter wont be detected. if i go into device manager and show hidden devices, it says my realtek ethernet is currently not connected. i reinstalled the drivers with 3 different revisions, but non seem to help. the only fix i found so far is that i have to completely shut down my pc and turn off the power switch on my psu until everything is fully discharged. now i have to wait for like 10 secs until i turn the switch on my psu back on, start my pc and everything works fine for this particular session. a normal restart via windows wont solve the issue. i appreciate any help i can get thanks in advance

I have been upgrading/rebuilding my system over the past few days, and I am encountering an infuriating issue. I know it has to do with my graphics card, but I can't nail down what the issue is. Here's my system: MY SYSTEM: GPU: Asus Tuf Gaming 3080 w/ EKWB Quantum Vector Tuf waterblock on a corsair PCIE3x16 riser. The riser is in the top slot on the mobo which is a PCIEx16 slot. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x MOBO: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master Rev. 1.2(Bios v. F31q, which is the most recent) RAM: 4x8GB Viper Steel DDR4 4400MHz (XMP disabled so not running at that speed) PC4-35200 PSU: EVGA Supernova 850W G2 OS: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.18363 Build 18363 MISC: Some rgb fans/controllers and a pump/res combo THE PROBLEM: Basically, the systems struggles to post or get to windows. Typically when I power it on the mobo goes through a series of codes rapidly, spending a very long time on codes '07' and '62' with the VGA led lit. It then either does nothing, or shows a blinking horizontal cursor in the top left of the screen. Sometimes it stops here, sometimes it displays the bios screen where you can either press f2 to enter the bios or do nothing to boot normally, BUT when it does display that screen it is rendered VERY slowly, almost like it is scanning down the screen. If I enter bios from there it is very stuttery and slow, occasionally doing that scan thing again. The bios settings are untouched from stock. If I allow it to boot normally, it shows the spinning circles you typically get before seeing windows and either freezes, the display goes blank, or it gets to windows. Sometimes when the screen goes blank the MOBO still acts like it reached the OS (code 'AA' which is what it normally is) I have never stayed in windows for more than 15 seconds before it crashed or froze. On one occasion when it crashed, it rendered the BSOD very slowly over the course of a minute. It was very strange, and I have linked to the google drive videos of it below. STEP I HAVE TAKEN: I have ensured that the two 8pin connectors on the GPU are each supplied by different cables coming from the PSU, as I thought it might be a power issue. I also tried running two cables from an entirely different PSU (I jumped it, not sure if I had to or not). Neither of these changed anything. I swapped the card for a 1060 I have and it worked fine, taking only a few seconds to boot. It didn't hang on either of the above codes. There was no weird slowness or strange scanning, and windows is stable. From there I updated all the drivers (my system was intel before so I did all the chipset drivers) and checked the nvidia driver, but it was the most recent one already. Note that the 1060 works with both my PSU and the other PSU that I tried with the 3080. None of these steps fixed or altered the issue noticeably. At this point, I think the 3080 is either broken, or somehow still not getting enough power. It was in a different system a few days ago and worked fine (this was prior to the water block install, but that went smoothly). I'm at a loss for next steps and would appreciate any advice you have to give. Hey Techs, I have been trying to gather some ideas on what could be my issue with my games crashing in full screen. PC has NEVER crashed outside of game or in any benchmark or stress tests. I have tried all different drivers using DDU to clean install them every time sometimes multiple times. I have removed the GPU and re-seated it. I have inspected the PSU VGA Power cables going to PSU/GPU. I have no overclock and have even tried underclocking and undervoltage. I have most up to date windows 10 20H2 and AMD drivers. The games show no artifacts or tearing or stuttering before the crash. After crash happens usually im left on desktop with AMD dialog "Drivers timeout detected" error. Sometimes I can close the game but sometimes I have to reset PC (CSGO i can recover, not fortnite) I use 2k and 1080p they both crash the same. I have tested my RAM and it is running at 3600mhz using XMP profile. I have tried turning XMP off, but didnt help me. I have changed PCI-E bios settings from AUTO to Gen 3 and many many other things you find online. My main goal at this point is just to narrow down the problem so I know if I have to replace my GPU or other components. Games will crash in gameplay and very rarely in menus left idle. I have attached some images and a HWinfo log that was run during a crash that happened yesterday. I am out of ideas here guys, why would games work fine windowed but not fullscreen? Hello, I would like to ask for some help with a very unusual and frustrating problem I experience with my new build. I received my pc parts and built my new pc just 5 days ago and since then I am on the verge of depression. I experience extreme mouse lagging on windows 10 almost continuously, I have different wired and wireless mouses but the problem is the same. It is a problem I never experienced before with any of my builds. The problem appeared directly on the first boot onto windows 10 and I panicked. I installed all necessary software but it was there. I updated the bios to the latest and reinstalled windows 10. All this at stock CPU and RAM speeds. Installed AMD chipset drivers and had the AMD balance power profile and disabled every privacy setting in the control panel Moving the mouse across the screen was 80% and 20% of the time the pointer would be stuck and then start again. Also I hear the CPU fun raving up and many times if not always the lagging occurs at the same time although the CPU usage is just 0-1% but I definitely see the problem more pronounced even when I have heavier CPU usage I started looking around for a solution and started testing the parts. CrystalDisk was flawless. Cinebench was also fine multiple times. I then followed instructions from some forums and turned XMP profile 1 on but the problem continued although it was kinda better performance that at stock settings. I then managed to overclock the CPU from my bios to 4.3 MHz all cores but I had still the same mouse lagging issues. Every game I tried was littered by this weird mouse behavior. Total war same. Battlefield V had 60 fps continuously but aiming was a disaster. I then installed Counter strike were I had almost 250 fps yet again the game would lag/freeze just few milliseconds every time I tried to shoot/aim. I then tried to further optimized my bios settings according to this thread ( LINK ) But still I experience the same problem. I took away the one RAM to work with single RAM but no difference. I changed my M.2 drive to another slot but no difference. The only noticeable difference came when I activated XMP but the problem is still there but not so big. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Is there any solution? I am desperate. My build : Amd 3900x on stock cooler, Aorus Master X570, G-skill Trident Z Neo 3600 16x2 GB, ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER ROG Strix Advanced, Corsair RM1000i pw supply.

Hi All, I recently built a gaming PC with the following configuration: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/HappyTron/saved/#view=fQzgt6 At the two messages are shown: Memory PMU Training Error at Socket 0 Channel 0 DIMM 0 & DIMM 1 Which changes to: Memory PMU Training DIMM 1 For about a month there was no issue with the computer and all 4 RAM sticks were working fine at 3600 MHz. There was a instance when the computer suddenly shut down and after reboot this error started showing up. Now I only see 32 GB of memory being detected in the task manager and running at 2666 MHz. I tried setting the BIOS settings to default, enabling and disabling XMP, but it doesn't change. I am fairly new in PC building and don't have enough in-depth knowledge about memory timing and troubleshooting. Any pointers to try and debug this issue would be a great help. Thanks!

Okay, I'm having trouble narrowing down my part issue, so far I'm thinking its my motherboard despite the error codes I'm getting from my system. When I first installed everything and started my system up it wouldn't even boot and it hung on Gigabytes error code 15 (North Bridge System initialization) I was able to eventually clear the cmos and the system let me boot up with one stick of RAM in it and it finally let me use my second stick once I was able to clear the system. After I was able to get it to boot I finished my cable management, wired it all up and put my cases three fans onto the motherboards fan slots and then it had issues booting again. When I was finally able to get it to boot it reset my XMP RAM, back to 2666 mhz and it took me to the fan section. My CPU was listed as -55 degrees celcius, and it wouldn't detect the three fans I plugged in only 2; despite having 3 running. Anytime I enter the bios the system hangs after I try restarting for a considerable why and it wont let me boot up until I hard reset the system. It did list error code 00 (either motherboard or CPU) and eventually, I was able to get back into the system at which point I installed HWinfo and it lists the CPUs temps are normal despite the board sensors not registering this information. It does also take a while to post, as if the system is having issues detecting its parts properly and goes through a variety of error codes before it displays the Aorus logo. Personal thoughts is its probably the motherboard but I am going to do more testing. looking for feedback here.

So I have a X570 Aorus Master but the board is pretty extravagant for my tastes. Im really not into overclocking (I wouldnt know where to begin) and I'm not into custom water cooling. Not the smartest move and I made as a beginner. I'm new at the whole PC building community, i pretty much just went for the best than thinking about what I'll do and need it for. My first choice was to get a Aorus Ultra but I got the Master instead. Is there really a significance between the 2 boards' $60 difference? Thanks

I built my first PC back in March, it was running like a dream up until today. I woke up in the middle of the night to find that my PC didnt hibernate/go to sleep. I usually just restart the PC that usually fixes it then I went back to sleep. 5 hours later I go to get on my PC to find that there were no lights on, no flickering, no MOBO lights Nothing. It was like it was unplugged but it wasn't. I tried flipping on the PSU power switch on and off a few times and even unplugged it for a min. The PSU would not even turn over. I looked on the internet to see what the issue was and almost all sources said it might be the PSU acting up so I gave my PSU the old Paperclip test and it turned over. So I disassembled my PC so I can run a Benchmark. The PSU turned over on a Paperclip but not my motherboard even when everything but the CPU and ram were disconnected. Is it the Motherboard? Is it the RAM or CPU? Any help would be much appreciated.
