Today I came back home to find my AOC 24G2Z is having problems with artifacting. Everytime I turned it on, it will display the AOC logo with an artifact that to be honest isn't really important as it doesn't effect general use but this just makes me worried since I've been using it for a year without any problems before this. I've tried turning it on and off, unplugging every single HDMI and DP cables but nothing changes. Is this normal for AOC monitors in general? WhatsApp Video 2024-01-03 at 3.30.29 PM.mp4

I have two AOC Q3279VWFD8 (who comes up with the names of those?) monitors and for a while, the main one i used, is slightly darker, and warmer in color. Today it started flickering. It's less noticable when i put it on 75Hz refresh rate, but if you stare at it directly it's noticable. I moved the flickering monitor to my right hand side, it's now a secondary monitor. The color difference is quite noticable, if i put a window between them, one displays whites as white, the other (i guess bad one) is yellow-ish. They have the same settings. I tried plugging it in the other ports on the GPU, same thing, tried different type of port - DP>HDMI, same thing, tried another cable, same thing... It's the monitor, right? There's something wrong with it directly? Backlight maybe? Or something? The now main one works great still, so i don't have to look at the flicker at least. They're old and were cheap so it was bound to happen i guess. Is there anything easy to do to prevent it from going bad further, or if not, i'll milk it for as long as i can i guess. I'm not looking to spend too much to fix it.

I am redoing some wiring for my living room TV and receiver setup including putting all my canceling in the walls. Problem I'm running into is that the new locations are pretty far from each other, especially when routed through the walls ~75ft from source to TV. Any recommendations for in wall rated AOC hdmi 2.1 cables with eARC 75ft and over? The first option I looked at was by fiber command but they are sold out of everything between 5/ and 200ft https://fibercommand.com/collections/hdmi-cables/products/copy-of-irovf-xg-fiber-optic-hdmi-2-1-cable-integrated-extender-4k-8k-120hz-hdr-for-smart-tvs-projectors-home-theater-receivers-gaming-smart-home-av-best-4k-8k-connection-installation?variant=40869091344540 Monoprice also has a cable but I could find any third party reviews: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=38631

Is there anyway I can adjust the brightness and colour management of my AOC monitor in Ubuntu, like how I used to with i-menu when running Windows? I've been looking around and I haven't been able to find anything for adjust brightness in Ubuntu that has worked so far. I am running Ubuntu 22.04 with Wayland .

It's not a dead pixel either and also my old monitor didnt do this. I had this monitor brand new 2 days ago it usually wont do these red pixels back then. Its also not the gpu im certain. I didnt experience any symptom of artifacting ever. So what would be causing this? Oh and when i up and down the red pixels would be temporarily gone but the moment i hover my cursor on the video it would come back. The fix is also that i need to watch a 4K video and the red pixels are gone for now until i restart chrome again. When im gaming i dont usually encounter these issues. No pixels etc. only when it comes to "Some" Youtube videos. some arent affected and some are. The red pixels usually are at a black surface. When i pause the video the red pixels are there but when i hover my cursor to them. The pixels wont stay on the monitor it's like the video is the problem? This only ever happens to some videos on YouTube usually on dark spots or like small tiny spots you can catch onto. It only ever applies to some youtube videos, mostly not. mostly yes. If i try to take a screenshot using windows the pixels go away. Monitor - AOC 24G2SE VA Recieved this monitor with no damage on the box. Did a dead pixel test and nothing came out of it no dead pixels. Even resetted the settings and to no avail. Still have a 3 year warranty so yeah. Still havent tried a clean driver uninstall so yeah could be that and this is the first time im using DisplayPort. as to back then HDMI. It also seems like if i try to zoom in on the video using Chrome's Zoom it would zoom it and make it go away for abit until i play the video and some spots still have red pixels if i set the zoom back to 100% but the pixels would go away the moment i watch lets say a 4k video literally 0. I really hope too that its not the gpu though i still have a 2 month warranty from it. UPDATE: The red pixels gradually lessened somehow after sometime. I have no clue whats causing this im also gonna send in a video for demonstration (*using this yt video in particular*) :

I have been using my Monitor "AOC Q3279VWFD8" for a long while now for like 3-4 years or so and I started to notice this green tint appearing on my screen whenever It turns to fullscreen color black. It doesnt appear and I cant really see it when I am doing other things and its because i turned the brightness and contrast of my monitor very very low. (It protects me from eye strain so thats why I have my monitor set to brightness very low). But there is one thing that keeps bothering me. Is why the hell is the green tint always stuck to the fullscreen black color of my LCD screen and how do i fix it? What actually caused it and what I can do to prevent it? Here is the image of the green color appearing on the fullscreen black color of my LCD display which is turned to very high brightness. (But when it is at low brightness and I am browsing or playing games I rarely do see the green tints,It appears when the monitor is fullscreen black color or when its at very high brightness) Now any chance of getting rid of these annoying green tints or blobs on my screen? Thanks!

Hi! I have an AOC G2460VQ6 75Hz "gaming" monitor, and for some reason, the colors are more accurate when it receives 75Hz than when it receives 60Hz. I can confirm that this has nothing to do with the OS, as this behavior persisted when I recently ditched Windows 10 in favor of Pop!_OS 20.10. I know many (especially gamers) out there will say "why would you bother using 60Hz when the monitor works better in 75Hz?", and my answer to that question is really simple. I have an MSI Prestige 15 A10SC laptop with a GTX 1650 Max-Q which I use for both school and light gaming. If I for some reason want to record gameplay, keeping the monitor at 60Hz and using VSync yields the best results on the recorded gameplay in my opinion (most likely because my computer isn't that beefy and struggles to both record and game at the same time). Therefore it kind of sucks that the colors look all washed out and more grey than when I use 75Hz. The recorded footage's colors stays the same of course, as this problem is monitor-related and not my PC as of what I know. I have a comparison between two photos taken with my DSLR with the exact same settings and you can even see it there (it's more present in real life than in a photo). 60Hz on left and 75Hz on right. Anyone know if this is normal behavior on monitors? If not, how can I get the same vibrant yet natural colors on 60Hz? This is the monitor: https://eu.aoc.com/en/gaming-monitors/g2460vq6 Thanks in advance, Siggis

So, I am getting a monitor for my new Xbox series s, I am looking at the AOC c24g1 which has amd freesync, 1080p, and 144hz. They also have another version called the c24g1a, which has all of that but 165hz and freesync premium. I am wondering which would work best for the next gen budget console(they are both curved). Thank you!

Black Translucent Mark on Brand New AOC 24g2u There is a black mark on my AOC 24g2u which isn't dirt and doesn't appear to be a dead pixel, I am unsure of what it is and whether or not I should return the unit. Any advice? images: https://imgur.com/a/KBOZsFg

So after my pc started randomly restarting ( either motherboard or psu problem , abrupt power-off and restart ) I disconnected everything and connected my laptop to the monitor. When connected display power light lights up but then gives a no signal message. I thought it was a linux issue but it does the same under windows. I connected the laptop on my tv and it outputs to it normally. The monitor works when connected to pc via hdmi. The laptop is a dell g3 3779 with a gtx 1050 on it. The monitor is an AOC Q3279WG5B Right now I'm doing a clean install of Windows. Updating all drivers by hand, bios update. DDU all display drivers and then install them manually. If by any chance anybody can make an educated guess to what can be causing the issue I would appreciate the help. When I press win key + p and select extend displays. The screen of the laptop acts like the external monitor. It gets the resolution of the external monitor and becomes monitor 2. I really don't know what to do to get over this. Might try dvi to hdmi or dp to hdmi. Edit 1: So after tinkering with it for a little while I found out some things. I plugged the monitor via hdmi to dvi cable and it works ... but up to 1080p. When connected via hdmi the monitor is recognized in the device manager and nvidia control panel but still has no display. !! When set the windows display setting to extend monitors the laptop screen "turns into" the external display. !! I don't how how to explain that but it stops being the main monitor and goes into being the secondary and when I change the resolution or scaling for the external monitor they change on the laptop screen. This behavior is really weird. I'm off to buy a different hdmi cable and see if I have any luck with that. Help would still be appreciated. Edit 2: Still facing the issue. I recently started working from home and my company sent me another dell laptop. I experience the same behavior with the work laptop as well. Hoping somebody has faced a similar issue and could help.

So I've bought this monitor on black friday, it is an AOC Hero 27" 144Hz 1Ms - 27G2 /BK, from this last couple of weeks it has stared to show flickering, and a third of my screen just freeze and that suddenly started happening almost everyday. Something that temporarily fixed the flickering was setting my monitor refresh rate to 120Hz, I could work and game just fine, but not on what I expected as I bought this monitor. And a couple of days ago it started showing problems even on 120Hz via Display Port while I played. I have a two monitor setup, my second monitor it is a simple one, from many years ago and do just fine. I've tried disabling G-Sync, tried a clean install of graphics drivers with DDU and installed 466.27 GRD, and a couple of settings using CRU. I've also tested almost everything I could think of to eliminate my graphics card from the problem, and that was: Test my monitor connected to a laptop via HDMI - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with a GTX 980Ti via DP - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with a GTX 980Ti via HDMI - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with my RTX 2080S via DP - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected on other desktop with my RTX 2080S via HDMI - Nothing happend Test my monitor connected to my desktop via HDMI - Showed the same flickering My PC specs: • I7- 8700 • ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 • 32gb Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz • EVGA 2080 Super Gaming • Corsair CX 750W 80 Plus Bronze • Water Cooler Corsair iCUE H100i PRO XT • SSD M.2 Adata SX6000 1TB • SSD M.2 Toshiba 256GB I'm currently using NVIDIA Control Panel default besides setting the power management to maximum performance

Hello there I've had this monitor for about a month now, but i haven't gotten used to it yet, i come an 18inch 60hz monitor to this one (24inch) 144hz and the difference is quite noticeable, but for some reason it gives me a vibe of blurryness, so perhaps there's something about the bright or idk something that could improve it, anyone has any suggestions? Hopefully someone with the same feeling i have.

Yesterday, when I was watching Youtube I noticed a vertical 1 pixel wide black line. It disappears sometimes so I'm pretty sure it isn't a screen issue. I'm using it with my laptop when I disconnect the display my laptop screen is fine. It is connected via HDMI cable and I changed the cable to see if the cable is at fault but it was not the case, the line appeared nonetheless. What do you think? How can I fix it?

Wassup LTT gentlemen and gentleladies, I own the AOC U2790VQ 4K monitor and would like to know if any of you own it as well. Does anyone know the best settings for color accuracy in this monitor? E.G the gamma (1-2-3), Luminance, Contras, DCR, Color Setup ETC.? As a side note, I am a photographer/Videographer and color accuracy is pretty important to me. Also, I know buying a calibration tool such as Spyder and Xrite is probably the best option, but for now I can't. Thank you!!

Hello I am looking to purchase my 1st 1440p monitor. Here in South Africa our choices are limited and more expensive. I was looking to get the AOC CQ27G1 27". It is roughly $400 with conversion. https://www.wootware.co.za/aoc-cq27g1-27-quad-hd-2560x1440-144hz-1ms-va-1800r-curved-freesync-desktop-gaming-monitor.html#product_tabs_review_tabbed My other option is the AOC CQ27G2 27" QHD. Which I'm not really sure the difference to the G1. It is $480. https://www.evetech.co.za/aoc-cq27g2-144hz-gaming-monitor/best-deal/7983.aspx Third choice is to try stretch my budget and try the TUF GAMING VG27WQ. This is $550 https://www.wootware.co.za/asus-tuf-gaming-vg27wq-27-wqhd-2560x1440-1ms-165hz-va-freesync-monitor-33271.html Is it worth the extra $150 compared to the G1? The sites listed are the better value for money in the country. Amazon can ship here but it usually is more expensive with shipping and taxes. Any other findings or suggestions are welcome My current monitor is a Dell S2330MX https://www.loot.co.za/product/dell-s2330mx-ultra-slim-23-led-monitor/wtkt-2149-g860 GPU GTX 1070 Strix OC Thanks

Bought this AOC monitor this February, but is now beginning to have this like weird brightness changing flicker and also feels like it drops my fps on some games too. The monitor is 144 Hz curved 24inch and I use a DisplayPort cable for it. My pc specs: -Ryzen 5 3600 -32gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz -650w Corsair PSU -RTX 2070 Super 8gb -Samsung evo 500gb and 1tb ssd I dont think it has anything to do with my gpu as I use two monitors and the other one is fine had it for like 3 years now. Any thoughts?

Some time ago, i broke my screen while playing vr. Finally got some time to spare, so i thought i try to do something about it. I tried to search the codes from the panels sticker but unfortunately, i couldn't find anything useful. The monitor is AOC CQ32G1. Is there a good spot where i could try to search for it?

The video, as it says in the title, turns grey or kinda gets this grey filter over it (Pictures below) I have tried toggle HDR on and off both on monitor and in the windows settings. This only seams to happen on my AOC monitor and not my main one. The AOC model is C27G2ZE/BK. It kinda fixes it's self when going in and out of fullscreen but will still comback after a few seconds.

I use my laptop for gaming (ew a gaming laptop, I know I know, its not my favorite either, but it works, and I'm on a budget so what can you do) and previously had a second monitor that had only 60Hz refresh rate, i recently purchased a newer monitor capable of going 240Hz, however when I set the refresh rate to 240Hz my screen goes black and the returns to 144Hz which I have set it to while I troubleshoot. if it helps the exact monitor is the AOC C27G2Z (https://us.aoc.com/en-US/gaming/products/monitors/c27g2z) while 144Hz is outstanding compared to 60Hz and I cant understand how I used 60Hz before, I would like to be able to use the full potential of the monitor
