Hi all, I'm planning to build a DIY "tablet". I play music, so printing and organizing music sheets is a bit too much work for me =]. So i want to build a tablet using a portable touchscreen monitor from amazon with Raspberry Pi or some other platform. Does anyone has experience doing this? I don't want to spend too much on an iPad or other tablet on the market because they are too small for what I need and out of my price range. I want something that is about 16in, the monitor i mentioned on Amazon is about 15.6 in, which is good. I reckon I could do this for $300 or less? Thanks

My workplace is about to replace some of the AiO's there and this one, I'm keeping an eye on this so that I can use as my secondary/tertiary display and use as a secondary computer at the same time (for vendor support to control as opposed to controlling my desktop). There's also Optiplex 3090's there, but they don't seem to work as standalone monitors, while this one does. My office has a triple monitor mount already setup there (been using a desktop + laptop combo with laptop mounted on a tray attached to one of the arms), and I'm the only one who has a mount there. I'm now trying to find an adapter for it, but I'm having trouble finding one. Can someone help me point to the right direction to a mount that works with it?

So I had an issue with my H110i I bought a while ago, and in the meantime used my 212 EVO. After sending it out and getting a new one back, I couldn't be bothered to put the new one back in my system b/c the 212 EVO was working fine, and I didn't really have much spare time. I've recently purchased a 6600k and decided to make use of my water cooler. I take it out of the box, and the radiator is bent?? Not the fins, but the entire thing itself. Instead of having perfect 90 degree angles around the corners, it's more like 100 degrees and 80 degrees around, making it impossible to fully mount the fans, as well as the actual radiator in my case. Has anyone else had this issue, or heard of someone else having this issue?? I'll post a screenshot to show what I mean. I'm definitely going to get a replacement, but I just thought I'd post here and get other people's thoughts on this. This really pisses me off, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it right now... Looks like I'll be using my 212 EVO for now.

So I have a ds cube and recently bought a 1080. I'm buying an aio cooler either; ARCTIC Liquid Freezer 240 - £70 (comes with 4 fans and fits my case) Corsair H100i V2 - £95 (has the fan control usb software) Thermaltake water 3.0 RGB riing 240 - £105 (reviews say it's quieter than the corsair, has a physical fan controller rather than software) Anyone have experience with these? particularly with a ds cube case? My next question is whether to have the cooler set up to suck hot air out the top of the case and have the front and rear case fans pointing inwards or have it pushing air into the case to maintain positive pressure? air in means the 1080 gets hotter but maintains positive pressure in the case (it gets very dusty)

So I'm working on a macintosh G3 casemod and, its going pretty well, one problem though is when the case is closed I can get my processor WELL above 60 C So I figure, okay well Ill just put an all in one in it and drill the fan onto the front, only problem is I cant find an AM4 AIO with long tubes, because of the door action on this thing, and the position of the ram, the heatsink will have to have the tubes facing the opposite direction of the radiator, and the motherboard moves away, so Im looking at like, a 2 1/2 tube. ON THAT TOPIC, if the answer is to put new tubes on an all in one (is that even possible? no?) or use custom water cooling (bit over my head) Ill probably want to switch to something like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181099&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Liquid+%2F+Water+Cooling-_-N82E16835181099&gclid=CjwKCAjwrO_MBRBxEiwAYJnDLE0TA_ZWFwwGSVK4lnlzx_J6kRxt1E1Mlu96KkoyGn2EvYi3mdscAhoCMPQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds so I can slip it in the slot in the front (lol) and not have to drill or cut the sheet metal. its still beta so ignore cables and stuff

Are there any contenders (at any price range)? These would be my loose guidelines for what a perfect AIO would be like. No bezels, adjustability, good speakers, good built-in mics, full HD webcam, low noise, proper ventilation, wireless mini keyboard and mouse. For creativity and general use: 8K 36" IPS Display i7-7700T w/ GTX 1070 GPU 32 GB RAM 1 TB SSD + 4 TB HDD For gaming, same but 1440p 34" Ultrawide144 Hz IPS display instead. GTX 1080 Ti w/ 16 GB RAM.

I work for a company that likes the simplicity of all-in-one computers. I am their system administrator and I have an IT manager above me. Every employee has complained to me about how slow the computers are when working. They use Chrome for their work and when it is open it typically runs at 100% when I looked at the hardware the processor is an AMD e2 1200. The OS is a clean install of Windows 10 home, (tried windows 8.1 and that was idling at 100% and updates turned off) I tried multiple different configurations with Chrome and the system is slow regardless of reaction. I tried saying it was an issue with the hardware and that we may want to get new devices, but the IT manager said that it isn't an issue with the hardware and that hardware unless BSOD is never an issue with speed on web browsing. I have set the systems to auto restart at the start of every morning before they come in. That typically helps them, and they are slowly BSOD (simple reasons like an HDD failure but they would rather buy a new box at that point) and I have told them time and again that getting a desktop variant system will have easier maintenance and cost less then AIO systems as a whole, and perform better. The AIO they get typically cost 6-700 and they last about 2-3 years before dying. I built with scraps around the office a desktop that outperforms the AIO and dual screens which definitely would help them. They typically have 4-8 tabs open at a time and RAM space isn't an issue there. Am I wrong to think the processor is the problem? I tried looking for a new BIOS for the systems but I can't seem to find any, they are: HP Pavilions 20-b010

Possibly a stupid question, but I was wondering if the original 120mm AIO included on the card would be removed, and replaced with a different AIO? Such as a 240mm or a better 120mm. My current line of though is that any AIO would work as long as 1) the CPU block fits under the shroud and 2) the tubes aren't thicker than the cut outs on the side of the shroud.

Shoud I wait for the upcoming Dell Inspiron AIO or Build a new PC, similarly specced? My budget is around $1000 including the Monitor and other peripherals, and Windows 10 The base model dell has the following: Ryzen 5 1400 RX 560 8 GB DDR4 2400 1 TB HDD 128 GB SATA SSD (+$50 from base model which has only HDD) A Dell wireless mouse/keyboard combo is included in this price. The Total price is coming to $1050 The PC Speced is as follows: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xvs3Gf This PC would be used for image editing in Photoshop/Lightroom. Thus colour accuracy is key. The AIO is using the infinite edge display, which has great sRGB colour reprodution. Thus I chose a similar 27 inch monitor with great sRGB colour reproduction (I shoot in sRGB, and do not care about adobe RGB reproduction). Aesthetics is important too, as any of this will be sitting in a Designer's studio. Thus I want to avoid any side panels on my case and show off the parts as they will not match the interiors. These software do utilize multiple cores, but my current workflow does not need much more than 4 (I know this from personal exp. I am currently using an i5 laptop, which has been more than enough. But my bro is moving to college and giving that away to him.) The only gaming I may do is some light LoL or Smite along with some other free to play games (during my breaks and all) I would like to know your opinion on the same. Should I build a PC or go with the AIO

I'm looking around for AIO CPU coolers for an AM4 Ryzen CPU. I've pretty much decided on the Thermaltake Riing 3.0 (240mm). However, AM4 is not natively supported by the block, so I need a bracket to be able to use it with Ryzen. I am going to my local Microcenter to pick all of this stuff up tomorrow, so I would like to know if the Corsair Hydro Series AM4 brackets they have in stock would work with the thermaltake cooler, or will I have to buy Thermaltake's bracket off their website for twice the price and wait for shipping?

Caught the video of Dave2D reviewing this new Lenovo Y910 All-in-One and it really peaked my interest. Just curious what everyone who is much more tech savvy then I thinks of this system. This All-in-One is upgradeable. The back panel comes off allowing you to upgrade the drives, RAM, and GPU. The screen can also be used individually of the system to hook something else to it. With only a 380w power supply do you think this system could last for quite a while before needing to be upgraded? I haven't bought a new PC since 2012 (laptop from ibuypower) and it can barely play World of Warcraft on a 3 out of 10 at 25-30 fps in populated areas. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883795339&cm_re=lenovo_y910-_-83-795-339-_-Product http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops/ideacentre/aio-y900/aio-y910-27/?menu-id=aio_y910_27 The Lenovo site has the same set up for $200 less the newegg for some reason. Comes with a 1 year warranty. Edit: Dave2D Review Video

Hi all. I recently bought a corsair hg10 for my GTX980. This is a bracket for the graphics card that allows you to put a corsair H-series all in one liquid cooler onto the GPU die. It also has that little fan that's meant to cool the non-gpu part of your graphics card. That blower style fan that most reference cards have. So I installed this thing with a 120mm rad because my current open air graphics card was making too much noise (it's 3 fans was at in minimum 1500 rpm) and I wanted quieter, but using my hg10 turned out to be even louder, with the fan going at 1750 rpm. And it being a blower style instead of an open air style just multiplied the loudness. I couldn't take it, so I just plugged it out of the card. Now, I hear that it is important to keep the MOSFET bits of the graphics card cool. So with my set up, only the die is being cooled, while everything else has the sticky thermal pads on it attached to a flat piece of metal (the cooling bracket), but no fan. So I would like to know if this is sufficient for the the vulnerable parts of the card. I have seen that there are heatsinks just for FETs. So I might be inclined to by the heatspreaders for the non-liquid cooled parts of the GPU, as I would still like to game, with it.

So here's my question what would be the best cooling option for Ryzen 5 3600, I'm planning to buy one of these but I can't choose as these costs sub 5000₹ (70-80$). I live in India where the weather is quite extreme summers 40°c - 45°c are way to hot winter ~20°c and not everyone in India can afford a A/C unit. I'm using my PC for approx more than 15hrs a day gaming and streaming. What would be the best of me Air or AIO. Edit (Those are not my PC temps)

Hello friends, I am looking to see if anyone in the Toronto area is holding an AM4 bracket for a corsair h100 AIO cooler. Corsair seems to have sold out and has no plans of restocking and all of the Canada computers in Toronto and the surrounding area seem to be sold out. I am happy to trade anyone who has the bracket for my Intel bracket. I got the last part for the new build today minus this stupid bracket I can't seem to find anywhere expect on eBay for like $50.00 plus shipping which is half way to a brand new cooler. I've also emailed everyone selling a computer with a corsair cooler on Craigslist and Kijiji to see if they would sell me the part with no luck. Let me know if you are holding or have any suggestions of where I could find this part. Thank you, Bradley. https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Cooling-And-Corsair-Link/AM4-AMD-Retention-Bracket-Kit-for-Hydro-Series™-Coolers/p/CW-8960046

Hey everyone... So I know a lot of you have had bad experiences with Lenovo and their tech support, but I really need some help with this one if anyone is able. I bought a new Yoga A940 off of Lenovo's website with premium care. It is advertised to come with Tobii eye tracking software. These all in one yoga a940s do NOT come with said software and are actually missing the drivers completely. I called the day I received my machine and had a premium care technician go through the computer to confirm that there was drivers missing. I waited a month and never heard from them and they conveniently closed my case without ever telling me a word. After finally getting a hold of a manager after a week of no call backs, they finally agreed to send me a "new" yoga a940 and promised me that it had the drivers installed. And big surprise...there was no drivers on the replacement computer. To add to that, there was a huge bulge in the casing and a scratch on the inside of the screen (see pictures). There are multiple people on their forums that have found out the hard way about their false advertising. I have also talked to Tobii directly and the said that the only ones that have those drivers are Lenovo, which they will not give you. My head is spinning, and I've spent hours on the phone with them getting no where. If anyone can help that'd me amazing. At least if you're thinking of buying a Yoga A940 and read this, you'll know not to do it!

alright, so one day for Christmas, my mom told me to put anything i want on her amazon shopping list, i wanted to put computer parts in there but i knew my mom would not know what they were so she wasn't going to buy it. i i asked her if i could get a prebuilt pc. she said yes at first but once i told her what type of pc i want which was a gaming tower, she said she wasn't going to get it because no one gets those anymore, she said everyone gets all. in. one pc's. i know to most of us this seems really dumb, but to my mom, its completely normal. the same day, after she told me that i couldn't get a gaming pc, i decided that i would just ask for a setup instead of a pc. so i added a corsair strafe rgb and a corsair sabre in the cart. when she say the price of the total cost of both of them, she said she would get me it. 2 hours later, it was midnight, my mom called me up to her room, she told me that she wasn't getting it. she told me "why would i pay that much for a mouse and keyboard" (it was like $150 in total) and i said "well something that high quality should cost that much. and then she told me... why get a $100 keyboard... when you can get one for 12... dollars... at... Walmart. pls help

So I was wondering if it was even possible to be to make a gaming rig on a All in one system like the HP Envy 23 or even to upgrade it. I know it a dumb thing to try to accomplish but hey we all need a hobby.

I'm limited in the amount of space I have on my desk and on the ground causing me to have to put my desktop under the bed and run long cables to the desk. I've always liked AIO pc's and I've had a modded Imac 2007 where I removed everything but the screen and speakers and put in my own hardware (phenom II x6 1055t, hd 5850,...) however due to lightning and my surge protectors failing to keep the AIO and desktop safe they both have died. I managed to get my desktop back up and running but it's still really in the way. I've been looking into itx builds but since I need a new screen anyways (going for a 4k color accurate display so thats easily 500€ minimum) I though why not get a powerfull AIO. However the only currently available all in ones that are decent and don't cost an arm and a leg are: Dell 7775 Ryzen 1700 Rx 580 (downclocked) 16gb ram 256gb ssd 1tb hdd 24" 4k color accurate and ready for proffesional use screen Price: 1729€ Imac 2018 I5 7600k Radeon pro 570 (so an rx570) 8gb ram 1tb fusion drive 24" 5k color accurate screen Price: 1889€ Asus zen AIO ZN242GDK i7 8750H 16gb ram (max it can have) 256gb ssd 1tb hdd gtx 1050 24" 1080p "good" screen Price: 1499€ The desktop I'm upgrading from has: gtx 970 i7 2600k at 5.4ghz 16gb ram Laptop: i7 6700hq 16gb ram gtx 970m What I'm reusing: 2tb 850evo ssd The usecase is heavy photoshop and illustrator useage, 3ds max, maya and blender rendering (solidworks sometimes too) and a bit of gaming (this is the LEAST important to me since it's just guild wars 2 and some older or easy to run games). I have 2 monitors (1 a huion drawing tablet that can be pushed into the desk) , 1 aio and 1 laptop on the desk usually so thats what my workflow is built around. It's still more than what I need and both the Imac and asus would be a downgrade but I simply do not have the space for it (already in a micro-atx case) since I need my desk for drawing and work. I have someone that is willing to pay 550€ for it so thats nice. The main reason an AIO is so appealing to me is that I can just move it around easily on the desk just like my laptop and screens. The only problem is that powerfull AIO's have dissapeard in 2018 except for dell and apple. If you can help me find a good and strong AIO for under 1800€ then I would be more than happy.

Hi. So I know this is kinda stupid but I want to know how to upgrade the graphics card for my all in one. I understand that a graphics card will not be able to fit in my case, which is why I am looking for a way to set up an external graphics card on my pc. Most of my answers are probably going to be along the lines of buy, or build, a new Pc. However i cant not currently afforded a new computer, plus I just got this computer for my birthday a few months ago. If any of you have incite on how I can upgrade my graphics card it would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I currently live between two houses, and I'm constantly taking my PC between them every 2 weeks. I'm currently running the Cyrorig R1 Ultimate, which as you all probably know is the same size as the Noctua NH-D14, and I'm not liking how much space it takes up inside the case (aesthetics wise). So I was looking at getting an AIO cooler like the Corsair h100i. My only concern is, will it be able to withstand the transport between the two houses, or will it eventually leak? Never worked with any kind of liquid cooling, so I'm not sure how durable it actually is. When it's inside the car, I usually strap it down and ensure it doesn't move any more than the car does.
