Ok so I'm planning to build a pc. The list of pc parts is here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6PFnJV Ok, so about 3 months ago, I bought the power supply (rm750x) and a Asus Gtx 1060 3GB OC, on sale. [115$ and 250$] I was originally planning to build a white build, but I changed my mind. So since I bought it on sale I can sell it for higher and buy a new gpu. I will of course have to put out some more money though. So my problem is, I dont know what gpu I want to get. So in the build it says the EVGA 1060 3GB FTW, but I am also considering other gpus. Theres a ASUS RX 480 8GB ROG Strix for 300$, but the thing is, its really big. Im also considering the ASUS RX 570 4GB ROG Strix [290$]. Personally I really like the ASUS ROG Strix card with 3 fans, but I think it would look too big in my case, also I dont think it looks good when a gpu sags, but in the other hand it performs a bit better. Mainly I am concerned about how it looks though. Any of the cards perform well enough for me, and its not like its a huge difference between any of them. I like the Asus cards because they have RGB, but the EVGA would look so good together with my white led ram, also I think the EVGA card looks kind of classy. Im looking more for what you think would look better and maybe some suggestions on my build, than what performs better. Im also adding a poll, but I'm not sure if it will work, as it hasn't worked for me before.

Hey guys, so im, building a PC for a friend of mine in a few days and i was wondering if anyone has the exact height clearance for graphics cards in the Corsair air 240 case? The ASUS STRIX 1060 is 13.41 cm in height and a MSI GTX 980 4G does NOT fit in the case which is 14.0 cm in height. Has any1 tried to fit a STRIX 1060 into this case? Also im pretty sure the 1070 and 1080 has the same height as the 1060.

Hey all, Just wanted to share my almost finished build. I live in an apartment with my girlfriend who has a crafting station already. This limits my space for a gaming setup so I went with a small case for factor. I decided to go with the corsair air 240. Below are parts of my build: Case: air240 Cpu:i77700k delidded with rockit88 kit applied conductonaut ti cpu die Also, replaced intels ihs with rockit's beautiful copper ihs. Temps stayed dropped hard after installation. Gpu: 1080 ti founders edition Ram: 16gb (8 x 2) corsair vengance lpx 3000mhz cl15 Ssd: Samsung evo 960 1tb M.2: Samsung evo 960 250gb nvme m.2 Mobo: asrock z270m extreme4 Psu:SeaSonic Electronics PRIME Titanium 650W 80 Plus Titanium Modular Power Supply Fans: 3x corsair ml120 white Custom Waterloop Gpu: ek full cover waterblock Cpu: ek supremacy evo Radiators: 240mm ultra stealth black nemesis white radiator & 120mm ultra stealth black nemesis white radiator Reservoir: Alphacool: 150mm eisenbacher reservoir Pump: ek d5 pump Tubing: thermaltake petg (the best tubing known to man. So easy to work with) Fittings: eK white hardline fittings Fluid: cl1000 opaque white Peripherals not shown in pictures: Mouse: corsair m65 pro Mousepad: corsair mm800 rgb Keyboard: corsair k70 rgb rapidfire Headset: corsair void pro Monitor: acer predator x34P overclocked 120hz (just bought this baby today ) Back of case tubing: ek zmt matte black soft line tubing with ek soft line fittings and horsepower spout Custom cable sleeving from mainframe customs *custom wires ti exact length with custom sleeving. Also added a custom side panel made of cle as r acrylic with 1/2" standoffs (painted copper) I think I got everything lol! This build was certainly a challenge. My first pump alphacools vpp755 d5 pump was a dud and delayed build by a week. So picked up eks pump and it is working wonderfully. Another challenge was working in such a small case. Truly a challenge. From being able to find the parts that actually fit in the case, to running soft tubing in back without kinks in the back, to making sure the build was nice, neat, and clean looking. That was my main goal. I wanted a clean looking build like when you get all dressed up for a formal dinner party in your "suit and tie", hence the name of this build "suit and tie" along with that I tried to stay with the black and white theme. But then i realized that my blocks were copper so i wanted to incorporate copper copper into the color scheme. I will be adding more copper to this build by painting white fittings copper, and putting copper painted accents when I do the white mobo tray which will take up the entire back side of the case. This build is far from over as I want to clean it up a bit by adding more white acrylic paneling to the top and, as previously mentioned to the backside of the case as a mobo tray. I also spray painted the metal grates copper to incorporate more copper into the color scheme. Please let me know what you think. All critisicim is welcome as I am constantly upgrading/updating/modding this build. In my eyes this build will never be complete :))

Hey all, I finished my build. I went with the corsair air240. I live in an apartment with my girlfriend and she has her own crafting area, which didnt leave me much room for a computer so I decided to go with a small form factor case and mother board. Ek waterblocks abd fittngs, thermaltake tubing, black nemesis radiators, corsair ml120 fans, delidded liquid metal i77700k, 1080 ti, corsair vengance lpx 3000mhz 8x2 gb ram. I am ALWAYS looking for ideas to upgrade this build. I have an abundance of leftover acrylic, an unused dremel, and an unsatisfiable need to continue to upgrade this build to make it look amazing. I will be doing a motherboard tray with white acrylic that will sit behind the motherboard and will extend the entire back side of the case, to give it a clean white box look. Again just looking for ideas to mod it even more. Please any ideas are welcome. Thanks so much!

I am upgrading my brothers computer for his birthday. One of the things i wanted to upgrade is the case, with the Corsair carbide air 240. But i have seen a lot of complaints that it cant take wider graphic cards.. My brother has a 960 (https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/TURBO-GTX960-OC-4GD5/specifications/) which i think is like 12,1cm wide.. Will it fit?

Hi guys, I'm looking to build a new system soon and planning to go with a mATX build in the Corsair Air 240. I'm planning to get the new AMD Fury X which has a 120mm radiator. Was just wondering would there be any issues installing another 120mm AIO cooler for my CPU in the front 240mm slot? Planning to get a H80i for the CPU, I know the dimensions for the Fury X rad aren't out yet but as just wondering if any Air 240 owners have had any success/problems install 2x 120mm rads in the front. Thanks

TLTR?; The questions I'd like to have answers on are written in red And my second post I am planning to build my main rig this fall. Budget: 1000 - 1200€ Main use: programming, light music recording and mixing (not full on 50 track stuff...), light(ish) video editing, basically most of the adobe suits programs, some gaming Components: 1x Corsair Carbide air 240 (will the airflow be enough to keep temperatures nice and low and will everything fit?) 1x i7 4790k 4x4GHz 1x Enermax Liqtech 240 liquid cpu cooler (Mounted to the front? Airflow?) 1x micro atx board I haven't decided on yet (any tips? Needs 4 slots for ram. Looking for a black and blue theme) 1x Corsair 1600 8 Gig Ram module (will probably install only one 8 gig module first due to my tight budget and then add one or two every month) 1x Gainward GTX960 Phantom (Too big for the case or will it fit? Alternatives?) 1x 630W PSU (Thermaltake Berlin. Maybe something modular if my budget allows it) 1x Samsung 128 Gig SSD (Still have this from an older build... so why not "recycle" it?) 1x Seagate 2 TB (Backing up data on my NAS) So - will it work in this configuration? Is there enough room in that case to keep all the temperatures nice and low? Thanks in advance for every bit of help and for every tip

Hi all. I have looked all over the web to see if a 960 G1 Gaming will fit in the Air 240. I know the specified maximum length for a graphics card is 290mm, where the G1 Gaming is 295mm. It would seem to not fit if I had a 240mm radiator in there, but I will be getting a 120mm radiator in the top position. Could someone help me out with this annoying reoccurring issue that always pops in my head when I think about this case. If anyone has this card in a Air 240, could you please post a photo? Thank you in advance.

Hello guys! So I finally build my gaming/video editing/programming machine with help from you (Special thanks to rafazafar) Are any fellow Corsair Air 240 users here that could give me some feedback on the following topics: - what does your build consist of? - how are you cooling your CPU? - how are you cooling the case (how many fans)? - how are your temperatures (CPU/GPU/Case) - what mods did you do to the case? I am especially interested in how I could put some light in it (LED strips maybe? but where to put em?) My build consists out of the following parts: - i7 4790k @ standard clock speed - ... cooled with a CM Nepton 240, 2x120mm pull configuration. One 120mm as an outtake on the side right next to the CPU... no other in/outtake fans in the system) - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming - a MSI mAtx Z97 Mobo - 8 gigs of HyperX Fury 1600 RAM - 120 GB SSD for the OS - 1TB for Data - Corsair Semimodular 600W Gold (Got it new for 35€. Couldn't say no...) A few parts aren't optimal yet but I simply couldn't wait any longer so the following updates will happen later on (in the next 2 - 6 months): In order: - 32 GB of RAM (Two blue modules, Two black modules) - 500 GB SSD for the Adobe Suite and a few other programs that can make good use of an SSD - 4TB HDD for data - some blue LED strips?! I want to put some light blue lighting in it (like.. ice blue. To still have a contrast to the LEDs on the GPU... Any ideas what I could use?) Here is a (bad) picture of my PC at its current state : and here are the temperatures (prime 95 and furmark running simultaneously for 25 minutes NOTE: The room temperatures was 26 degrees Celsius): I would be thankful for any feedback on the questions asked above - especially on the temperatures and the lighting ideas. Thanks in advance and have a nice day, Tista93

Hey everyone! Right now I have a Corsair 600T case that is too large for me and I would like to make a much smaller PC with a Corsair Air240 case. This case can only fit one rad in it so i'm deciding whether I should liquid cool my CPU or GPU. The links to the parts are below: Also I'm fairly new to custom watercooling so if someone could check that the sizes are right would be very appreciated. Hello, for a while I have been planning on building my first system (that of which I'm still waiting on the case only) in the Carbide Air 240. However circumstances have sprung up, which I'll spare you the details of, in which I could swap my original MATX motherboard for a mini ITX one. This opens up the option of my favorite ITX case the windowed blue prodigy. The PC may go on occasional LAN parties but not often, however I will need to carry it up and down the stairs of my house with ease. I don't plan on having Sli or crossfire in my rig, or passing 8gb of ram so expansion isn't an issue. However I would like to eventually by equipment for water cooling my CPU. I know this is a harder question to answer as one case isn't even out yet, but I'm an impatient person . Which do you think would be best? Hey guys Since I'm planning my next PC build I was wondering which case looks better in your Opinion.

Hey, so I am building a new pc for 1080p 60fps gaming. Nothing incredible but it'll be a huge upgrade from what I have now. The games I play are The Witcher 3, L4D2, Fallout 4, Doom, Dying light, War frame and so on. Just hoping for a little insight from more experienced pc builders. So this is what I'm getting. Case - Corsair Carbide Air 240 Mobo - Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 Micro ATX CPU - Intel Core i5-6600K Cooling - Corsair Hydro H55 (I understand I don't need to water cool this cpu but I do plan to oc it) HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB SSD - Kingston Technology 240GB RAM - Kingston Technology 16GB DDR4 2133MHz PSU - Corsair VS 550w GFX - Windforce GTX 970 4gb I'll be using my psu and gfx card that I already have, so they won't be changing. I'd just like to know if this is a good build for what I want from gaming or if there is slightly better priced components I could be using. I'd like to keep the case and a micro atx mobo because I'm interested in a small cube build. All in all this build will be 930 euro (including tax and shipping). Thanks for any advice in advance.
