hi, my cpu i5 4670k. os- windows 10 I'm using aida64 extreme 2023 for system stability test. is this version of aida64 supported by my cpu which is so old? Can this version of aida64 tress testing cause any issue to my system as maybe tress testing would run some latest instructions which not supported by my cpu? if so can someone please suggest a suitable version of aida64 or suitable settings in latest aida64 for tress testing my cpu? Also in system stability test there are many check boxes like - cpu, cache, fpu etc, now which ones should i select during tress testing of my cpu?

Hi, Im working on overclocking my samsung bdie corsair vengeance pro rgb 3200mhz on GB Aorus Elite and 5600x. While testing, Aida64 fails almost immediately even on a slightest OC from 3200 to 3333mhz 1.4v and Vcore Soc 1.1v, nonetheless, passes on Prime95 RAM stress test for hours of run on even harshest OC 3400mhz, tighter timings and higher voltage 1.45v DRAM Voltage and 1.15v vcore SOC. Also it passes OCCT stress test as well. Should I ignore Aida64?

I've just done some playing around with some desktop/game overlays and came across Rainmeter for AIDA64. I've made some mods to it for my needs in the DeviantArt thread for Rainmeter AIDA64. I now updated from the rather ugly and old Aida64 sensor panels. (which also dont do transparent backgrounds - while RainMeter does) Thought some of you fellow geeks may have an interest... CPU overhead seems really low and its stable. https://www.deviantart.com/pul53dr1v3r/art/Rainformer-2-9-3-AIDA64-Edition-Rainmeter-444287665 Rainmeter Aida64 Desktop Overlay Desktop_Overlay by Hilton, on Flickr Detailed Game Mode Doom-All-Overlay by Hilton, on Flickr Minimum Game Mode Doom-Game-Overlay by Hilton, on Flickr Some of the mods Rainformer_Fans_Update by Hilton, on Flickr Rainformer_Fans_Update2 by Hilton, on Flickr

Whats is the best Hardware monitoring tool?
alphatessi posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Hi there. I have tried many Tools for tracking the hardware. I am still looking for the very best. Have Tried Aida 64 already. At the moment my bets are on the aquasuite from Aquacomputer but that is licensed and i can only use it because i use an Acuacomputer fancontroller as well. There is my example in the Spoiler. Are there other suggestions? -
Hope this is the right place to post to, sorry if not. Bought a Lenovo Legion T5 (26AMR5) 2 months ago. Been experiencing a few problems here and there ever since, like sometimes not detecting usb sticks or performance issues in games where there shouldnt be any as far as I know. I have stutters in nearly all games, few examples: minecraft (with mods), lol, borderlands 3, ghostrunner. Also installed and tested the performance in fortnite and its really laggy before the game starts (pre game lobby) , and I cant manage to hit stable 100+ fps on epic without stuttering after jumping out of the bus. B550 Board from Lenovo, Ryzen 5600g, 2x8 GB RAM (Dual Channel, XMP enabled), RTX 3060 Ti, 500 GB NVMe Drive, Windows 11 (all drivers including BIOS up to date) Downloaded Aida64 to check if there's maybe a problem regarding my psu, and it shows me 0.6v on +3.3v. 5v and 12v seem to be fine. I know that those tools arent the best when it comes to showing the correct values, and that the PC wouldnt even turn on with a voltage that low.. But is this a sign that my PC problems are caused by the psu? I can either send it in to repair incase something else is causing these performance issues or buy a new psu and swap it myself, but cant really decide on whats the right call here. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everybody, A few weeks ago, i've moved my m.2 NVME ssd (Kingston A2000 1tb) from my motherboard's m.2 port to a pcle lane with a sabrent adapter (NVME compatible) and installed 2 new memory dimms. Every since i made these adaptions, my computer shuts down and produces an stop code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, which means there is some kind of hardware issue. This only occurs when the computer is under heavy load, especially when the ssd is writing large amounts of data. I've removed the new dimms but the error still occurs which means it is probably the change i made to the ssd. I've benchmarked the ssd on random read and compared it to an older sata ssd also attached to the system and for some reason the random read performance of the sata ssd is very stable compared to the NVME ssd. Is this 'jumping' in random read performance normal for this kind of NVME SSD or does this indicate something is wrong with the storage device? I've placed the SSD back into the motherboard's m.2 port but the jumping behavior still remains the same, only scaled with the lower read speeds. I'm having few odd issues with my computer every game I try to play crashes after just a few minutes it takes about 3 attempts of launching the game before it becomes stable to play for a few hours. I have tried reinstalling Windows 10 and using DDU to uninstall graphics drivers and install them again using latest version from Nvidia but still get the same crashes. I decide to try AIDA64 System Stability Test to see if it was maybe a hardware issues which it looks as if it could be. Every time i try and run the Stability Test for the system memory I get "Warning : Hardware Failure Detected" and the test stops? I have used MemTest86 to test the memory as well and that came back with no faults found? So at this stage I'm rather confused if there is or isn't an issue with the memory? Could someone shed some light on why I might be getting these hardware failures even though MemTest86 can't see any faults with the memory? Hey guys well i've been trying to overclock my cpu but i got kinda scared with my tests on prime95 got 65C on fx8350 4300mhz, once i tried to get it to 4400mhz after 5 minutes on prime my pc would freeze so i tried putting a little more voltage on it and the same thing would happen. Then testing it with aida64 i got 41C max aida64 benching for 10 minutes I want to know what benchmark gives me real results for every day use without crashing or freezing?(I plan on overclocking a bit more if possible)

I have an i5-6500. Is this much vcore fluctuation at idle normal? Sometimes the voltage is even higher in idle than at max load. Not overclocked but vcore is set to 1.3V since it was extremely low (lower than 1.1V). Anyway, if that's the issue I will set the voltage offset back to 0. No stability issues by the way, everything works fine. I just don't know if this is 1. normal 2. healthy for any parts of the PC.

I installed Aida64 and noticed the CPU Throttling Graph in the System Stability TEst, but I cant find where I can get such a graph for GPU Throttling. How can I monitor if my GPU is throttling? I have MSI Afterburner installed, my GPU Usage is going up and down really fast, but my temps are 50 C°. So I dont know whats going on.

Hi everybody, Just builded my new pc, here are my specs first of all: cpu i5-6600k mb msi 170a sli gpu inno3d gtx 1070 ram corsair vengeance lpx 2400 mhz psu 550w corsair 550m EVERYTHING NOT OC When i run aida 64 i cant do the stress test for more than 2 minutes, then it says hardware failure detected. Temps never goes over 43° celsius with cpu 100% With prime95 same issue, after 2 minutes of testing, hardware failure detected... same temps here. I tought that the ram could be the problem but i runned the aida64's test without stressing the ram, but i had the same issue. The system is windows 10 64 bit and I have installed it in an empty ssd (i think it's called a clean installation) As soon as i booted in windows I downloaded the latest drivers, without installing the ones from the cds, could be a problem? I also had problems with some games, crashing to desktop saying : ''name of the game'' has stopped working. Please help me thank you very much!

So I was looking for awhile and I noticed on some of Linus's (Linuses? Lunusing?) videos and he ran this like eyeball test thing. I know he uses cinebench and aida64 but I don't think its the same program (to my knowledge). Help me out here? As seen in This Video

Hey so I recently built a new PC (7700k, EVGA Z270 Classidied k, 16Gb@3200mhz ect.) and i have been trying to find my max OC. Every time i try to stress test with aida64 it changes my multiplier from 49 to 46 as soon as i start the test. Its not thermal throttling at all, its not even given a chance to. it changes the multiplier as soon as i start the test. any suggestions to make it stop?

So i have i5 2500k with asus motherboard, i got new cooler from a friend (CM Hyper 103) and want to overclock my cpu (i hope i can get somewhere between 4.3 to 4.5Ghz with hyper 103 ) Thing is, im testing right now with this cooler, on asus AI Suite 2 temp reading while stress testing in Aida over 15mins is around 47c (70-80% fanspeed), on Aida64 and HW monitor temp is 57 (always 10c more then on asus program, i downloaded asus program from their website exact for my motherboard). Should i trust Hw and aida or asus program? P.S. i had similar sitation with x5460 cpu, i had 212 evo on that cpu, and on stock temps were high 80's, so i found out that aida and hw were showing wrong temps because tj max wasnt set right.. When i set tj max by myself (i saw that on some intel forum) temps were 20c lower exactly 20c.

I overclocked my procesor, but i am not sure which temps to take for measurement. First problem is that asus utulity program that i dl from asus website for my mobo shows me same temps as bios (and only measure CPU temp nothing else, not cores only CPU), but hw monitor and aida shows me exactly 10c more on package then asus program (core temps in hw are going from -5 to -1c then cpu package, which is still more then asus), when IDLE in asus software im getting around 32c in hw monitor thats 42c on package (in bios thats around 30c, which probably is same temp as asus software) After 30 mins of stresstesting Aida64, cpu package:hw and aida 68c, asus software 58c (i only have 1 measurement in asus software thats CPU, probably cpu package) In aida im getting 1 more measurement, other then cores and cpu package and thats called "cpu" which is about 15-20c less then aida's cpu package, and 10c less then asus C. What is actualy going on, i am on 4.2 Ghz right now, and if hw monitor is correct, im not going above 70c.. How can i figure out which one is correct?

his was my first time building a pc. What i did was install the cpu. (i5 6500) Then i put my heat sink on the cpu. For cable management i wanted to take it off and put it a different way. So what i did is lifted it up realizing the thermal paste was already on the CPU. After i saw that i placed it back on the cpu really quickly under 5 sec. When i finished my build i checked the CPU temps they were 29 degrees Celsius. To see if my CPU is fine, im going to stress test it but dont know how to check the temperatures. I opened the software on my old pc and it looks like this: ( I need to know how to read the temps before i run this program on my actual bulld)

I've tried to do something with my old PC, and while I was looking at the cpu usage and cpu temps, I noted that Cpu usage in Aida64 fluctuates between about 20% and 80% while idle. Later on I noted that this fluctuation is related to Task manager: when it's closed the cpu usage (according to aida64 and also Perfomance monitor (included in windows 10)) is sitting at around 70-80%, as soon as i open tm, it drops at 20%. Any idea why that would happen? FIY: i'm using windows 10 creators update and the cpu is an intel core i5 2310 on an asus p8p67 board. I also attached a screen capture of the strange phenomenon task manager.mp4

So i was running aida64 on a overclock i just did (Ryzen 7 1700 - 3,8ghz - 1,280v) and during the test the cpu failed. Or so the EZ debug led's on my MSI motherboard said. My screen went black, and i can't turn of the computer using the power on/off button. What do i do? Hey LTT, so i'm not sure if people normally post any results here but here goes. Before you complain to me, i have no clue on how to make fancy graphs etc so you going to have to read this Hardware: CPU Used: i7 4790k @4.7GHz at 1.37V ( Delidded with Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra on the DIE ) and MX-4 on the IHS. All this is cooled by a Noctua NH-D14. GPU Used: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix OC 11GB ( out of the box settings all default core clocks and fan curve ) Case Used:Fractal Define S with 3X Thermaltake Riing 14 140mm fans in the front of the case - then we have 3X Thermaltake Riing 12 120mm fans (2 of them are on the NH-D14 cooler and one as exhaust fan.(all Thermaltake fans are on 100% for this test) when i build this system i wanted to have only one exhaust fan so i could keep the top of the Define S closed of for noise, I had an extra Noctua NF-A14 PWM laying around and figured i might as well use it but i wanted to know if it was worth it. i ran these 3 tests in order back to back: Superposition benchmark 4K Optimized > aids64 cpu+fpu 2min > GTA V single player benchmark. Room temp in all these tests were 23.5C in the results below it will be 1 v 2 exhaust fan(s) chart 1 is with one exhaust fan (Thermaltake Riing 12) / chart 2 will be with the extra added Noctua NF-A14 @850rpm in the top of the case. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Test 1 with one exhaust fan: GPU max temp : 72C max fan speed: 48% = 1741 RPM CPU min/max C1 - 31 / 86 Delta= 62.5 min/max C2 - 29 / 91 Delta= 67.5 min/max C3 - 33 / 90 Delta= 66.5 min/max C4 - 30 / 84 Delta= 60.5 gtaV scores: 36.6 / 141.8 = 89.2 (min/max/avg) superposition 4K benchmark score:9247 - Test 2 with two exhaust fans: GPU max temp : 69C max fan speed: 42% = 1549 RPM CPU min/max C1 - 29 / 83 Delta= 59.5 min/max C2 - 27 / 88 Delta= 64.5 min/max C3 - 31 / 87 Delta= 63.5 min/max C4 - 29 / 81 Delta= 57.5 gtaV scores: 47 / 154.6 = 100.8 (min/max/avg) superposition 4K benchmark scores: 9267 Conclusion and thoughts CPU temps went down by 3C GPU temp went down by 3C GPU noise output was very noticeable, 6% = 200RPM difference is allot imo now where i'm a little confused is the Superposition benchmark VS GTA V benchmark results, as you can see the results are no different in the Superposition banchmark but in GTA V we went up in FPS by Allot for just adding one exhaust fan, our min FPS went up by 9FPS our max FPS went up by 13fps and our average FPS went up by 11FPS as a note i ran all tests 3 times and all 3 times the 2 exhaust fan setup did better in GTA V. the GPU ran at 1961MHz in all tests so no faster speeds because of the lower temps. hopefully one day this will help someone, thx for reading i guess
